I had an amazing experience getting my computer repaired. I spilled water on my macbook pro and had no clue as to where to take it. After getting a referral from a friend I went over to ReaniMac and they were able to sell me a new computer at an amazing price loaded with a few extra programs as well. I really appreciate their fast service and much more, I appreciate the customer service! I dont know what kind of experience some other people posted that they had, but my experience was amazing and I can get back to work because of ReaniMac!!

This is a review for a computer I tried to get fixed at this place a really long time ago I used to work at the ramen shop next door, the owner used to come in all the time and I figured even do I saw the bad reviews that he wouldnt screw me over. My wifes computer had water damage this guy told me he could fix it, but it would be expensive. I decided to fix it with him the parts that were damaged were supposed to get replaced. Well the computer worked less than a month, and this guy charged me allot of money for this. The computer kept turning on and off for a long time now it will misteriously work and then not turn on or charge at all. Long story short dont bother these guys suck and they are gonna rip you off.

The WORST! Absolute Nightmare to deal with. Angry, pushy owner named Truman! AVOID! AVOID! I am seriously suspicious of most of those Five-star reviews... I mean, come on- this guy is a total mean-spirited jerk who is never wrong. Sold me a poorly functioning used computer and was SO annoyed when I wanted my money back. He said that I wasted his time. Oh really? What about MY time?

I got a new hard drive and battery installed in my MacBook in December and its been working great! I took my laptop on a trip last week, and when I tried to turn it on, the only thing it would do was give me a question mark in a folder in the middle of a white screen. Scary!! I took it in to ReaniMac as soon as I got home, and they were able to get it up and running in about 5 minutes AT NO CHARGE! They are so helpful, and a wealth of knowledge. Thanks, Truman!

The gentleman helping me was set on selling me a used macbook pro for $1500 and buying mine for $300 having no idea what is wrong with it.To examine my mac, the gentleman helping me unscrewed the back panel, ripping one of the screws out. After the examination, he put only 2 screws back and refused to put the rest (or giving them back to me at all) arguing that I will not need them since my laptop has an issue and my only option is to sell the laptop to him.He did text back apologizing after I have already taken the laptop to Apple store. It could have been a tactic to pressure me into selling my mac or genuinely scattered-minded approach to performing a repair service; in either case I would not recommend taking a risk.I went to Apple store and fixed mine for $450 - pricey, but not as costly as as losing $1200.

Yeah, this place is owned by an unhappy person. Clearly—if Truman is his name. I found the shop driving by for the first time just before closing, with lights on and an Open sign in the Window. Talked to a guy in a black shirt momentarily, before an angry person walked out with a chip on his shoulder. I won’t be buying from here, whether it was a prejudiced or race issue could have played a role— respect meets respect... here respect met a donkey’s kin.

Truman is a bit a if a character, I read s few of the 1 star reviews and although Truman may not be an ass kissing brown nosing business owner, he will give it to you straight. Some people would rather have some customer service person with a smile lie to your face about whats wrong, granted he can be a bit abrasive, but its because the dude is a genius. My father is on the spectrum of autism he has aspergers, and anyone thats talk to somebody with aspurgers knows that socially there a little awkward but dont let that full you! Truman knows everything there is to know about a computer. So in short if you want to go to Apple and get some pimple faced kid Who probably doesnt know much about computers but will make you feel nice and warm more power to you, but me I dont care about his personality I care about his knowledge of computers and if youre looking for a Mac its like brand-new for half the price go see Truman: honestly ignore the one stars these are just sensitive people that couldnt handle when Truman was being blunt about their problems. Ive never been compelled to write a review before today, after visiting Truman at ReaniMac.Let me not bog anyone down with the details and get to the point: Truman is not only a professional who knows exactly what hes doing and does so with obvious honesty, integrity and fairness, he is also, and at best, a decent human being. He turned what was a devastating experience for me into a reminder that there actually are decent people left in the world, even self-run businessmen who could shake each person down for money without consideration for their personal circumstances (and weve all seen plenty of this). I contacted him on recommendation from a friend and he delivered more than I could have expected or hoped for. My ancient 13 Macbook, with a laundry list of broken/defective parts and software, has been literally reanimated and I cant thank Truman enough for his service and his time.If youre having Mac issues you need to see Truman; its true, hes the man (I couldnt resist).

The worst and most dishonest computer purchase and service experience I have ever had.1. I purchased a used mac from them and a year later the video card failed. I took it back to them and was charged $350 to repair it. A week later I found out that Apple had a recall on the video cards to repair them for free. There is no way he was not aware of the recall.2. On that same visit I paid with my Credit Card. My cc account was immediately frozen to the highest order. When I called the CC company and was informed me that the vendor was on a national watch list for fraudulent CC transactions. They never reactivated that card and had to send me a new one. All the while advising me never to use that vendor again.3. After apple repaid my video card (installed a new mother board) my computer was still not working properly. As it turns out when I originally purchased the computer Reanimac had installed not apple ram that was causing the problem. Not only was it not an apple part bu they had installed ram that literally had tape wrapped around it.This type of behavior is not acceptable. I will never shop with them again and advise that you do not use their sales and services and any cost.4. I saved the crappy ram that they installed as proof. If you are interested. I can send you photos.Shame on you Truman and staff.

Came in to just get my screen. Replaced and on the phone they quoted me a price when I get there they quote me a different price 15 dollars higher and after completing the swap they say a different price than that but thats not even the icing on the cake truman take it upon himself to do some work I didnt ask for when I ask him why did you mess with my harddrive he gives me a smart alec answer talking about some usb and try to charge me for it then when I tell him I didnt agree to that he throws a little pissy attitude and ends up wiping my hard drive completely and try to send me on my way with no operating system saying thats what I asked for thats not the worse part now all the programs I had prior to this are all gone and my computer is saying no wifi hardware installed and the bluetooth isnt working either which none of these things where going on prior to him fooling with stuff I didnt ask him to do hes a pushy crazy man who try to swindle you out of your money all i wanted was my screen fixed now I have no programs I had and I cant even use the damn wifi dont go here they dont do good business and he doesnt care about the quality of work and I didnt even receive a receipt for their services performed I dont recommend them at all go somewhere else

Bought my MacBook Pro from Reanimac. Friend in business has bought well over a dozen iPads and Macs here. All Great! And Ive had my Mac serviced here too. They repaired it in a few hours, whole new keyboard -- knowing I had to get back to work with it that day. Trumans opened a small biz in LA and has made it successful. Not easy to do!! If something were to go wrong, Reanimac isnt some faceless big box store for gods sake, theyll work with you to make things right.
