Good honest mechanic, saved us on a family trip passing through town. Was able to help us immediately. Takes his time but knows what hes doing. Good value-for-money, not the cheapest but less expensive than other big-name shops in the area. Would highly recommend.

We were in Santa Cruz for the weekend and my car decided not to start. It was a Saturday and he was able to squeeze in a diagnostic and helped us get on the road again. We had to replace the starter after realizing it was not just the battery or connection. Car troubles are never fun, but he made this go as smoothly as possible and was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He took the time to explain to my husband all of the details he wanted to know. He even gave my toddler son a toy car to play with. His pricing was fair too.

Nope. He was okay at first but only cause I had him do my breaks. When it came to fixing my cars he could never do it. Most recently I took my car in for the engine light coming on and my car dying etc, and I was charged almost $300 for the engine light to stay on the dash and for my car to break down while I am in LA for a two day trip. I had taken my car to him three separate times for the same engine light and over $800 later still nothing but lies. Don’t waste your time or money.

Old School Uncle and Nephew Mechanics, they know their work well and do it fast and for a much lower price than anywhere else. Friendly, honest, knowledgeable and fair.

Great price and friendly folk, Came because my radiator blew and my car was overheating. They had the part ready and it was installed the next day. Will Repeat business again, they insured me that because their overhead is so low, they have one of the most competitive prices around.

I went to go get my car smogged, the car did not pass (not why this is zero stars at all). I was simply trying to ask the guy what the check engine light code meant because that why why my car didnt smog. He kept trying to argue with me and became angry at me and saying the car not smogging wasnt his fault which I knew but I was agreeing and not trying to argue. I simply just asked a question. Very poor customer service overall.

I would rate this place Zero stars if I were able. I am from out of town from Santa Cruz and my car check engine light came on. I was visiting on vacation when I came here. Had the mechanic at this shop look at and “fix” my car. Ended up coming out worse in the long run, My Check engine light came back on maybe an hour after I got my car back. By this time I was already on the freeway on my way home. Still haven’t fixed my car. So bummed out I thought I’d warn others before coming to this shop

Got a smog done in a fast and efficient manner had to come back and get an oil change and received the same great service as the first time I highly recommend this shop to any make and models

These guys dont know smack atleast when it comes to rotary engines car was flooded (50 dollar fixed) reccomended a engine swap for over 4500 dollars
