I love my car, however I’ve owned it for only a week and there’s already a transmission problem. I was told everything was fixed before it was sold to me. Please be careful with who you trust. When I informed him of the problem, he did not care for it.

I would not advise anyone to buy a car from crown automotive in Louisville Ky. Harry is not an honest person to buy from!!! We have had problems with the car and service since we drove off the lot.
WOW!! The easiest and most painless buying experience I’ve ever had. I’ve been in the market for a used Ram 1500, years 2014-2016 I saw Crowns listing on cargurus of a 2016 Black Ram 1500. I called and spoke with Tracey to ensure the truck was still available. I told him what time I’d like to come out and take a test drive. By the time I got to the lot, he had the truck pulled up ready to go. Needless to say the truck was everything I was expecting. When we got back to the lot, I explained to him that I’d like to finance the truck. Within minutes They had secured a loan for me with an exceptional interest rate. I am very pleased with the salespeople from Crown automotive. Sometimes you have reservations from buying vehicles from a small outfit that isnt well know. I was treated with respect and wasnt bullied or pressured by the sales staff or finance dept. An issue come up with the loan that was done over a weekend sale when lenders arent normally open. I went up there and they worked hard to fix the problem. The monthly payment went down 40 dollars. Im not saying that could happen every time but i was fortunate enough to get a better deal. Going the extra mile to please your customer is what makes this company stand out. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a great quality vehicle at a reasonable price. Great experience with this dealership. I was apprehensive at first because I always buy from large big name dealerships but I drove 2 hours from Indianapolis and gave it a shot. I have an 800+ credit score so I can honestly buy from anywhere but I chose Crown because the deal I got was unbeatable. Their newer cars are quality, priced right and generally have lower miles. I had a pre-purchase inspection done elsewhere and everything checked out A-1. I would definitely consider buying from this friendly group again.

I totaled my car back in January and with such a poor credit score I had just about accepted my fate. I reached out to a friend and he gave me Crown Autos number and I decided to go see them just to see if I had any options left. Upon walking on to the lot I was greeted by the sales staff and immediately felt welcomed. Me and my significant other decided to purchase a vehicle from this location on July 27 2018. It was a Honda Odyssey 2003 we bought the car in total of $4,700 with about 160K miles on it. Little do we know that a week later the car started smoking from the engine, we took it to Firestone to get a diagnostic on the car. It turns out the radiator had a huge leak. It wouldnt hold the coolant. we had to pay $630 dollars to get it fixed it was so bad that the car would rev up in park which was being caused by the radiator. We gave them a call and asked to speak to the supervisor and also left an urgent message to give us a call back. We never received that call back from the manager. We called back again and actually caught the manager because he picked up, we told him what had happened then he began to act like he didnt know us or who we were. So to be straight forward he started acting stupid as if he didnt remember us . He then proceeded to put us on hold then came back and questioned us again about who we were. We also had made it clear in the beginning of the call which car we had purchased from this location. He than had the balls to say in the contract it says cars are sold as is...as is. He also began to insult us by basically saying we got ripped off and could have gotten the radiator cheaper then what we did. To add more insult to injury he said the most he could do is pay for our next 2 oil changes. Like that was suppose to solve the problem of them not taking or keeping up with their vehicles. Its all bad business they were not willing to at least refund or take credit for the poor up keep on the vehicle. Do you think someone wants to pay out of pocket more after buying a car. the part where he said as is, is what killed me because if you were selling that car with a leaking radiator and advertised that then it would have been a different story. You didnt though and mentioned nothing was wrong with the car. Not taking responsibility for selling a car that had an issue at least if you mentioned that the car had the problem and knocked the price down that would have been an honest deal. Instead they dont check the cars or do maintenance on them is called neglecting your merchandise and property. So IN ALL CONCLUSION I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU BUY FROM THIS LOCATION BECAUSE A WEEK FROM NOW YOUR ENGINE COULD FALL OUT AND THEY ARE GOING TO TURN AROUND AND TELL YOU CAR IS SOLD AS IS.

Its very strange that there are no negative comments. My experience has been totally opposite. My car broke down 2 days later, the manager told me point blank you bought it and I dont fix cars he knew when the car was sold that he had reset the problem lights before I bought the car. Now its summer and paid another 1700 to fix the air conditioning. Oh and I bought the extra warranty that pays for nothing. This group is a fly by night group of scammers and I suspect they will be gone soon. I wouldnt recommend anyone purchase a vehicle from this suspicious bunch.

I bought a 2014 explorer sport from here. 3 weeks later it broke down, cost me 1700.00 on top of the 21000.00 I pay for it. I will never go there again. Let this sink in, I had to pay a shop to fix it, before I made my first car payment. RUN !!!!!!!
Experience was not good. Staff friendly, but felt it was an act as most sales car men are that way, its there job. They tried to steer me towards cars that I did not come to talk about, and I felt they stereotyped me the minute I got out the car as if the car I was interested in I could not afford.

I was in the market for a newer truck and after noticing several on the lot decided to stop in. The sales and office staff are top notch and surprisingly easy and honest to deal with. In the end I was givin a more than fair trade on my current truck and purchased a truck for myself and a new SUV for my wife. I left with a great warranty and low interest rates on both. The staff was able to discuss and dissolve any and all concerns I had. Overall a great experience and after the months I spent dealing with other lots in the area surprisingly it was a breath of fresh air to deal with a group of guys that do not bs their way into your wallet. Overall I would recommend for anyone to at least stop in and see what they have to offer. Its worth the 20 minutes.

I purchased a 2014 ford Taurus from crown back in November, before I made my second payment the check engine light came on had test ran to see what the problem was it was a misfire in cyl. 3. I replaced the coils, spark plug and injectors, none of that fixed the problem. I called Ryan at crown told him what was going on, the first words out of his mouth was did you get extended warranty, which was never offered. Long story short they had their mechanic look at it nothing he could do I took the car to a ford dealership and was told the motor was was blown. Crown has refused to do anything, I tried to reach the owner several times leaving messages never received a call. I have put less than 900 miles on this car since I got it. Do not buy from these thieves, they will not stand behind what they sell.

Originally gave 5 stars but there were little things after thinking about it that take away from it truly being a 5 star experience. Only received one key, no manual in glovebox, was told to YouTube how to connect Bluetooth; was told that the car would be washed, detailed, and full of gas but it was about a quarter tank and not noticably any cleaner inside or out... Thinking back they are just a stereotypical used car dealership. I would not recommend anyone go there and my review needed to reflect that.

Awful experience. For some reason the salesman thought he was better than everyone else. Lol, just completely shocked at the situation.
