Save yourself the trouble and dont buy a car here! Not 20 minutes after I left the lot, my check engine light came on. I called back and explained to them that it was on and they told me to just have it scanned and send them the code. I did. I continued to call 4 other times to get in touch with Cliff since he wouldnt return my calls. When I was finally able to talk to cliff, He informed me that he wanted me to add octane boost to my tank and if it didnt work then we work proceeded with the next step. It didnt work. So my husband called 5 more times and was finally able to talk to Cliff. Cliff informed my husband that he would fix my car (as promised) if we brought him the $1000 that we got on our trade in because he couldnt resale it. (Please note that when we were filling out the paperwork they informed me that they wouldnt be able to resale our trade in and that they would be taking it to the auction and that was the reason they only gave us $1000 on our trade in.) Cliff claims to be a man of his word and as I can see, hes not.Im not going to even get into the way Cliff talked to me during out first discussion on the phone. There was a reason that I had my husband deal with him for the second call. If he would have been a man of his word I would not have left a review.

I didnt know much about buying a car. I spent months car shopping and landed on this little Mom and Pop shop of a car dealership with a very fairly priced Toyota Venza. I got some very inconvenient surprises from MY bank. The family at LC&T were very patient with my delays and even helped me to understand a little more about buying a car and the processes the state has. Would recommend to anyone, especially if new to car buying.

Long, exhausting multi-city search for a good quality SUV for my mother ended here. So many dealers in different states and just had a terrible time, some held us captive by talking so much 😡. We decided to look at the car on a Sunday and Cliff was there doing paperwork, he opened for business for us to test drive a 2013 Equinox LS and my mom fell in love. Was a Great Price. He never even bothered us unless we asked questions!!! The quality of their cars are hand-picked and I could tell. Absolutely no issues, and a 30 day warranty just in case. He was awesome to work with, tag and registration out the door in 10 minutes. Will definitely be coming back again!!

This place should be closed.They dont do what they say they will.What kind of place tapes electrical connections that are to lights outside of vehicle.Had more problems.Had issues when purchased they said would fix.Read there warranty real close.I wouldnt let them put oil in my lawn mower.

I stopped in to look at a 2011 Ford F150 XLT they had on the lot. From the first Bradley was very pleasant and friendly. While looking the vehicle over I noticed it had a new battery but tires were shot and dry rotted, Bradley said they could throw in new tires wit the deal at no extra cost, so I took it for a drive. I noticed all the radio presets were wiped out and clock was wrong, but I thought that was where the battery had been replaced. I decided to purchase and left the lot happy with my experience. Next morning check engine light came on. They scanned it and said catalytic converter was bad but Bradley would check around and get pricing on getting it taken care of, in the meantime they put the new tires on it, right front was badly balanced and has like 10 weights inside the rim and a vibration I didnt have before now, that will come out of my pocket to fix. Then the starter went out, a week after I bought it, so I replaced that as its used so these things happen, they have never called back about fixing the catalytic converter and Cliff told my wife when she picked it up from having the tires put on there was nothing wrong, the light was false 😑, and they arent fixing it. Im an ex mechanic of a reputable Louisville dealership and feel they knew about the cat and erased the code by the battery and/or their scanner. Because after they erased it the last time it takes about an hour before the light comes back on each time its erased by their hand plug in scanner. Have the vehicle your going to buy thoroughy checked before you buy from them. I dont blame Bradley as I think he was truly going to do the right thing and fix it but Cliff owns the place and he calls the shots. While I was waiting to buy 1 other prior customer called them and complained her transmission went bad on the car she just purchased and another guy pulled up in a 2005 F150 he bought a week ago from them and his mechanic said the cam fazers were bad and engine needed alot of work and money to replace.

I shopped around for my truck for about a month, and Cliff and Sons by far had the best price for what I was looking for. $2,000 cheaper than the next lowest competition, plus their customer service was out of this world. You really can’t beat a family owned business. They act nice and helpful when you’re trying to get a car but all their cars on their lot are overpriced and barely held together. They’ll say anything to get you into a car that has too many problems to count. Just a horrible experience. I purchased a car from them and not even 2 days later it broke down and wouldn’t start. Few weeks after I fixed the problem the starter went out talked to them they said it’s your car your problem. Talked to them multiple times about something being wrong with it and they said the warranty covers it took it to 3 different places just to get told the warranty doesn’t cover it when I was told by 3 different men that worked there that it was covered. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!

Highly recommend Cliff and Sons. I spent MONTHS trying to find a good Honda Element due to it being the ONLY car that fit all my needs (not easy! Hard to find & most I looked at had an average of 180,000+ miles/seats ripped/dirty/mechanical issues/no warranty/etc. w/ an average selling price of $5500). Cliff had 1 w/ only 119,000 mi/no body damage/good interior/1 owner that took excellent care of it. NO high pressure salesman; let me take it across town to have looked @ by my mechanic that only found it needed fuse box cover & gas lid fixed. INCREDIBLE! Im also disabled so practically impossible to get a loan for remaining balance even though I had large down payment. These guys were able to get me financed w/ a reasonable rate IMMEDIATELY; fixing small issues & even picked me up from across town so I didnt have to pay for a Lyft. Final paperwork took about 10 min. & next thing I knew I was driving home MYawesome Element w/ a 30 day powertrain warranty & only cost $6000 for EVERYTHING! EVERYONE was down to earth & super nice. Felt like I was buying from friends. My new Element should last forever but if I decide I want something else Id go here again in a heartbeat! Telling all my family and friends that THIS is the place to go!

I will not return. My daughter and I went almost a week ago to see about a car. Gave all info and advised we would hear something bl that day. Unfortunately, we never did. We called for days requesting info only to be advised we would receive a call back. As of today (almost a week later) I called for an update and still advised someone would call us back. Never have received any response. Im totally not even fooling with this company anymore because a simple phone call cant be this hard. I guess they only deal with, who they chose to deal with.

I just bought a car here. The guys there were really nice and the whole process was pretty painless. I have no reason not to recommend them.

The whole process of buying my car was great. Considering personal situations at the time they really went above and beyond to help me drive away in my car. A couple months after buying it, it started acting up, seemed like transmission issues to me but I trusted them when I was told it was just a sensor. I have now had my car for 7 months and the transmission has gone completely out. Broke down while my 3 kids were in the car. I emailed them and was told the price I was quoted for repair was too high and they could refer me to someone and I’d pay whole sale cost (still atleast $2500) The point is, I’ve only had it 7 months, I should not already have to replace the transmission especially when shortly after I bought it, I had them check it because I thought there were issues.

The cars transmission was obviously stalling in the red Ford Focus we test drove. Price was low but high for its issues. We told the guy what was going on and he said we get what we pay for. So for 2800 we get a car that will break down in a month? I think not. Don’t recommend.
