My wife and I had a great experience with Sternberg. My wife was purchasing a 2015 Dodge Challenger from Carvana, and I decided that I would like It very much if I had a Challenger as well. I was driving around in a 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe with nearly 100,000 miles on it and was owed more than it was valued at for trade.After meeting with Darrin and Donnie at Sternberg (a few times), we were able to come to terms on a beautiful, powerful, orange 2014 Dodge Challenger with the 5.7-liter Hemi engine. Darrin and Donnie were able to give us a great rate, as much money as they possibly could for the Santa Fe, and a payment that was very reasonable for the price I was paying and the vehicle I was getting.We had multiple bad experiences throughout our vehicle search (dealership names withheld, but Sternberg was excellent. My wife did the legwork & driving back and forth to the dealership while I was at work all weekend. Donnie brought the closing paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle to my place of employment – and we completed in less than five minutes.Two days later, I went to defrost the windshield in my new Challenger…only to find out that the heat did not work. A short time later, I took it to Sternberg and identified the problem. They presented it to their service center, and I had the vehicle back with an apology and a working heater the very next day – without any additional charge. During my Challenger’s overnight stay at the service center, Donnie made sure I had the valuable items out of my vehicle and notified me as soon as the vehicle was ready for pick up. As an added bonus, Sternberg gave me my old car back to drive around while my new car was being repaired.In short, Darin, Donnie, and Sternberg Chevrolet treated us like we should be treated – how all customers should be treated, and I am so thankful for our experience there. We would absolutely recommend doing business with them. I am unlikely to purchase another car for a very, very long time…but if I do, it will be from Sternberg Chevrolet.

Sternberg sold my 16 year old son a Volkswagen Jetta. My wife said something about getting car checked out. They assured her that they Sternberg checks out all of their cars. My son didnt have the car for a week, engine light came on and electronic component light came on. Took it to mechanic, they said it needed major work. Manager at Sternberg said that they would let us get trade in value for a different car on their lot. Picked out a car, dealer told one of his salesman to put plates on it. I sent in financing form one evening, called next morning to see about the car bit they sold it out from under me. Kent said he was a standup guy. He is a liar.

The time they fixed it was fast but I could have got it done for about $200 less then what I paid.

We were told we had 3 months bumper to bumper warranty. The key fobs are wrong they don’t work the van. Two of the tire monitors are out. And they said they won’t fix it. These are simple issues but I can’t help what to think if it had of been something big. Not very happy with that. The last time we bought a Chevy we had issues. We will most likely return to Dodge for our next vehicle, they took excellent care of us! I really love the van but the customer care is very poor. Thanks

I had no problem with the service on my car. I was treated with respect and the staff were friendly. The only problem I did have was that in the waiting area there were not enough seats. One person passed by and offered to get one person a seat, but when other customers came back to the waiting area, I finally had to go ask someone for a chair for another customer. Someone should be on top of this.

I bought a used commercial 2016 F-150 from Sternberg Chevrolet and could not have been happier with the service. I worked with Justin to purchase the truck and he was super quick at sending any information I needed to provide my bank. I drove up from Nashville and would happily do so again to deal with the folks here. I looked around at different lots for a few months, but Sternberg had the best price and offered me a fair deal for my trade-in. The truck was very well taken care of and I didnt feel like I was being nickle and dimed by the dealership. Sternberg Chevrolet and Justin treat their customers right and I would suggest anyone looking for a car or truck to stop here first.

I would highly recommend Sternberg Chevrolet! Specifically, I would point you to Sean Brown, who took great care of us. We rolled up test driving another van from another dealership. It wasnt planned that way but it was the only time we could test drive. Sean was not thrown off and graciously let us see the positives and negatives with both options. He made it his concern to make sure we bought the right van for the needs of our growing family. (we have 6 kids.) Ultimately, we chose the 10 passenger Transit and it has been awesome!! Sean has periodically checked in on us after the purchase. Theres nothing in that for him except just for quality and professional customer service. The Gentleman by the name of Daymond is awesome. Everytime I go in that place he accommodates me. He does a great job. That is the only reason I come there is good his customer service, because I dont have to drive that long distance. That place is really far for me.

On star sent message to Bachman Chevrolet to me. It said I had dead cell in battery. I called Bachman for appointment on Friday and they said battery was covered with no charge. Thursday morning battery was dead and was to far to tow to Bachman. I called Sternberg and they said I could tow my car to them and they would work in. All was great at this time. Then when checking out they charged for battery and labor. I told them what Bachman said they said I still had to pay. When I got back home I called Bachman to cancel appointment and asked service advisor about battery. They said no charge it was under my bumper to bumper and was in warranty. So I called Chevrolet customer service and after 2 call said was covered and they call Sternberg and I went and received a refund. Then I was sent a message again that I had dead cell. But battery and car seemed ok. Called Sternberg again they said drive back up and they would check it out. They worked be right in and said battery was ok the code had not been cleared.

So scheduled an alignment for Friday at 8am it is 10:50am Im still here for an alignment. The customer service representative at sternberg automotive on crittenden dr. Told me it would take a half hour. 3 hours later still here. Something about a stuck bolt. That they have to heat up. That only said to me this service center does not have the proper tools to do a simple 4 wheel alignment In a timely manner! Terrible did not plan on taking a half day from work for a 4 wheel alignment. That didnt even get done properly. Per my receipt.
