Great customer service was asked several times if I needed help .spoke with salesperson and they actually took time to track down the truck that was scheduled to deliver the weed eaters to the store. Energy was spent on the customer. Can really tell customer satisfaction was a concern.

Used to love this store. Close to my house friendly staff that were all extremely knowledgeable and good prices on products. Honestly seems now most the New staff dont have a whole lot of a clue as to whats going on and seem somewhat inexperienced in customer service. Sorry if the review seems a tad harsh just commenting on personal experience.

Home Depot by the mall - I’ve asked for help several times in the last 2 weeks for a specific item. The first time aCustomer service rep went to the area of the item and then looked for extra stock and then said well I guess they’re in the back and she just walked off and went back to the customer service area. The next time that I entered the store there were three employees asking if I needed help. I did ask one of them for some help and he said that if they’re not in the area I looked in then “we ain’t got them.” Also, I said online it shows that you have hundreds of this item. He said “well that’s just showing for every online Home Depot but if you don’t see him we ain’t got them.” So they were not short staffed. They either don’t know what they have in their store or they’re unwilling to find items that’s are listed online at their location. They smiled as they made NO effort to help. I’m glad there’s another Home Depot in Lubbock.

Place is a wreck. Empty boxes where product should be scattered all over the shelves. I understand it maybe hard to get resuppied in current times but clean your store up. I was on my hands abd knees pulling boxes to the front. Still didnt have what was needed. Amazon wins again.

Loved it . They are well stocked with a great variety of products. From roofing to plumbing, home deco and paints. They mix and match your paints too. This is a one stop shop for all your hardware requirements. A civil engineering mecca of equipment.

Didnt have what I needed and they were clueless

Went in to buy a valve to put on a water pump to make it easier to prime. It requires an adapter piece to go from pipe threads to a garden hose thread. The employee in that department was very helpful, he understood exactly what I needed and took me to the spot where they were. The area seemed much better organized and cleaner than my last few trips. Overall it was a good trip.

Very organized and staff there were very helpful. Prices there were reasonable. I meet other shoppers there who were very polite.

Despite the price of wood jumping up 3x from what it used to be. Luckily I was able to pick up a box of joint compound and some rubber washers I needed. Thank goodness they had them in the size I need.

Home Depot is my home away from home, I spend more time there than anywhere els, the employees there for the most are experienced professionals in the departments they work in so your sure to get the right part or material the first time, so Im in and out back on the job in no time.

Looked up online where to get air-conditioner filter. Isle 8 bay 5! Self Checkout and in and out 6 minutes.

I often wonder if they have any employees that work the floor. It was horrible the last time I went to Home Depot the staff was very dismissing in my needs to find certain items. Had no problems telling me what row they believed it was on but it wasnt and getting someone to actually help. Well I felt as if I was putting them out of there way. I have sense then changed to Lowes and have no desire to return .

Had to go to the second store to find the electrical parts I needed. First store was too cluttered for me to get to service desk with my cart.

We ordered from Home Depot ahead of time for a friend who is building a porch a week before the pick up. When the friend went to pick up the materials, he waited for two hours and they still hadnt pulled the materials. When we arrived to put in the order, no one seemed to know how to help us. Its a disastrously run business with no idea how to please customers or to answer questions. Id avoid at all costs.

Well got my order the cashier was helpful but wanted help making some keys and ask for help waited for awhile was on time limit and took to long for help so i left 🤔

AVOID- MANAGER DOES NOT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMERS. CALLED STORE SAID ORDER WOULD BE READY AT CERTAIN TIME, SHOWED UP 1 HOUR AFTER SAID TIME. WAS NOT READY AND WAS TOLD WOULD GET TO IT WHEN WE GET TO IT. CUSTOMER SERVICE AT HOME DEPOT IS TRASH.

RHeem water heater. Do not purchase this product until you google it. Look at Better Business page also. Recall after problem only. My water heater failed after 9 months and not only is it a junk product, but no warranty consideration available. No one answers the phone and written correspondence will be ignored. FYI

If its hardware you need, they got it! Literally they are like a physical retail form of duct tape! Ask for Elizabeth, she knows her stuff, and if she doesnt shell find someone who does!

The WORST! Too expensive! Employees are different half hate there job and the customer it seems. Products I purchased for over $1,000 keep getting placed on back order for over a month! Even tho when I purchase them they say 2 weeks.

Excellent, I placed an order for curbside pickup and made a mistake, the person who brought my order out asked if I would like them to go correct it. They went back in did the return placed the new order and seemed happy to do it. They brought me or the perfect replacement.

Almost always good experience here. I say almost bc when you need help no ones around...when you dont need help EVERYONE is asking do you need help with anything lol The one on 50th St has better CS though...the Loop 289 store? I could right a book on my bad experiences there, with the employees as well as customers. Just seems like all the rude customers go there. Maybe thats why the employees have a bad attitude. I manage to find stuff on my own, less frustrating that way.

Great Except for the checkout.

Worse location ever! We have two locations in Lubbock: this and another on the loop. Bought mixed paint from the loop location and was told if it did not match, I could return it for a full refund in 90 days. Turns out, it did not match so I took it to the 50th st location to return and was told I cannot return. Spoke with manager Jimmy and he insisted that I exchange the $40 mixed paint with a basic $20 paint and call it even saying that is “corporate rules”. He continued to trash talk and make fun saying “good luck changing corporate rules”. Took my original paint to the loop 289 location and without hesitation, they REFUNDED me my full amount. Hmm.. so much for corporate rules. Total disrespect at 50th location. Will recommend everyone to go to the loop 289 or Lowe’s instead.

Worst customer service experience! Apparently Home Depot does NOT train its employees on the products in their respective departments, or the only requirement to get a job here is an IQ below 10. Tap and Die Set is speaking in a foreign language to this Home Depot of inept people.

I come here all the time to pick up parts for projects, very neat and tidy isles. If your wondering around looking lost like i do an employee will find you and point you in the right direction. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff and the covid windo separating you from the cashiers are very well built. Its my companys number one stop shop for products and I can understand why.

Our stuff wasn’t secured and we had a long trip to Lamesa to make. We had no idea they had stuff to secure our pallet either... about $300 worth of material flew out the back of our truck and we searched and searched for it until midnight. We came back the next morning and David (possibly a manager) returned our material to us and let us know they offered things to secure our stuff from now on. DAVID was very helpful!!! Best Home Depot location!

Easy online ordering and store pickup

Perfect! Pickup boxes for items ordered online are very convenient and are right inside the doors of the main entrance. Does not require you to go any further inside the store.

Avery is one of the kindest managers I’ve met at Home Depot. Our design team build a wheelchair for a small boy at Rosco Wilson Elementary. We asked him if The Home Depot could help us with the cost of some equipment but Avery insisted they donate it. Thanks to Avery a special needs boy has a wheelchair.

A typical Home Depot. There is a large selection, but the store is unusually untidy. Expect to have to search for what you need, and prepare to dig through overstock just laying around.
