Paid for the lifetime alignment. Upon receiving my truck back I noticed it still had a lot of positive camber which is the reason I took it in. I was not given the alignment report because they said the print was broken. No problem. Will you please email me the report? NO. I was told. They assured me they did the alignment and it was fine. I pointed out the obvious camber issue and the story changed. They informed me at that point they were only able to adjust toe, not camber or caster. Of course they didn’t mention that until I started using proper terminology and they knew they were busted. Still charged me full price though. I’ve never been talked down to like that from a mechanic. It’s places like this that give mechanics a bad name. If you didn’t know exactly what you want, they can sell you anything. I feel really bad for less mechanically savvy customers because they will most certainly be taken advantage of here.

Well if its anything to do with the 12 and Van Dyke would not recommend horrible service horrible management. The band I can twelve Mile was nothing but a tremendous hassle.

Waited for repairs to be done i was so amazed that there was a young lady working on cars i beleave she did my car and did great job .There also was older man working back there with her that was also getting cars in and out great job to all there. Came in for a simple service. Get the run around. Had an appointment and it seemed like they just delayed actually doing anything until they were about to close. Sales gives me a long list of things that are “bad” and speak to the tech and get a completely different story. I will go elsewhere next time I need service of any nature.

Made appointment to swap winter tires onto my vehicle. Explained that I have my own tires to bring in. No problem! They set me up with an appointment and gave me a quote for the service.They chose to wait until I arrived for the appointment to explain that its against company policy to put tires on a vehicle unless they were bought from Firestone. Wouldve been helpful to know in advance of setting up the appointment.1 star is a generous rating. 0 stars would seem appropriate for misinforming their customer and doing 0 work.

Be careful, bought new tires but was unaware of the hazard insurance and it wasn’t mentioned. 1000 miles later, one of my tires blew and they were not going to replace it. They will stiff you if they can.

I drop off a car here for alignment on Monday, they do nothing until Tuesday, they said will start on Wednesday when I call them. I asked again on Wednesday afternoon, them told me will do it later and call me back the same day. But no one call me back. Same thing happen on Thursday and Friday, I walk in on Saturday morning, they told me they can’t do it today. Great and fast service I even see!

Cannot believe that this Firestone could NOT finish alignment for my car within one week!The car was dropped off for alignment on Monday upon agreement. Everyday I checked with Firestone, I was told the alignment would be done on the next day. After wait till Saturday when I really needed my car back, I went to the shop and I was told the alignment cannot be done until the next Monday! They did nothing but breaking promise and saying sorry we cannot do it. Worst shop I have ever met. Should give a ZERO STAR rating.

Ive been going to this place for years. The service was generally three or four-star service in the beginning. They had okay prices, the staff was welcoming initially, and my car was taken well care of.Over the years however, the quality of service and employees there has declined significantly. The final straw was when I purchased tires in 2020. I had already lost a lot of faith in this location, but they did give me a decent quote on tires and I decided to go with them once again, assuming partial fault on my own part because of this. I spent around $600 on some pretty decent Firestone tires. Im very happy with the tires themselves, but two of the tires were put on backwards. I kid you not, theres only four tires on a car, and their job is to install tires, and they only got half of them correct. I couldnt believe it. Then they gave me the runaround on correcting the issue.I could only return the vehicle and have them correct the problem at a specific date and time. The attitudes quickly declined when they realized that they fd up. Instead of owning up to their mistake, they made excuses for it. To make matters worse, when I went to pick the car back up again, one of the tires was still facing the other direction. I mean who screws this up. TWICE??? And yet they still did not own up to their mistake. I had to bring the vehicle back at a later date as it was already late in the day. Screwing me over yet again.This is after several years of them overcharging me for oil changes, declining to reset my vehicles computer service notification, and inability to fix a chronic low tire pressure warning on my vehicle. Every time I was given a different BS excuse as to why they couldnt do something or why something was someone elses fault. I no longer trust this location to touch my vehicle. Many of the people there are incompetent, inauthentic, and arrogant. Theyre overall demeanor worsens as they screw up more and more. Complete opposite of what customer care should be in my opinion.Ill lastly add that I have had several conversations with their service advisors over the phone and in person about certain categories of tires and ratings of tires that they sell themselves, and more than one service advisor has been proved wrong by myself, in terms of what tires are actually winter tires and which tires are all season tires, tire ratings, and prices. Many of their employees have no clue what they are even selling. Seems very reflective of the incompetency which occurs from the technicians in the shop. My advice: Steer clear of Madison Heights Firestone complete Auto Care.

Awful. Had my car serviced here a few years ago, and it was the worst customer service I had ever experienced in my life. They dont communicate to you when your car will be done, and give you an almost every time you call them for an update. Never going here again.

My sister in laws Tahoe had a broken stabilizer bar. The guys at Firestone repaired it in a day or two. She was satisfied with their work

What a great shop!! I called in for a new battery and John helped with pricing which beats everyone else I called . He was able to get me in the same day. Great service but where they went over the top is when I came to pick up my car Tom was awesome he answered all my questions and more about my battery. Tom even came out side to my car in the freezing cold (when he didn’t have to ) to show me how I can jump my battery, since my battery is deeper in my car and cover by a few things. You guys are seriously awesome!!! Thank you so much for your help!! I will definitely come back!! If you are looking for a good shop to visit this one is it!!

The staff inside are very friendly but not so great at making phone calls.Dropped my car off with a flat tire and about 4 hours later I had to call them to get an update on prices/timeline etc.We ended up choosing to get a full set plus the alignment and whatnot, got a call about 2 hours after that that something had been broken and theyd have to wait until morning to get the piece from a dealership. They fixed it for free so we were fine with that.I had to call them again the next day to see if it was ready and I got an almost so we headed up there to pay and pick it up.First thing I noticed was that my car had been test driven through a ton of mud and they didnt bother to get any of it off.Second, about 2 miles down the road I hard a grinding or scraping sound coming from the rear drivers side tire. I called them and before I could finish describing what was wrong the guy goes, Oh yeah I meant to tell you that some rust got down in the brake drum so thats all it is and it should go away on its own. It had only gotten worse by the time I got home. My fiancé had to take the tire off, take the brake drum off, and out pops a scratched up metal shard (see picture). The brake was broken and there was a chunk of metal scraping against the inside of the drum as the wheel turned.The worst part is that they were well aware of the horrible noise and still thought it was okay to let the customer drive the car off the lot. Will not go back to this location after that.

I had my new car changed from summer tires to winter tires. They did a great job. My car was still spotless when I picked it back up. They wrapped all of my summer tires and put them neatly in my car for me. They did a great job at a great price. I am very pleased and will definitely use them in spring when I put the summer tires back on.

The ONLY place I take my car. The staff is great. They call you and go through all the needs of your car and also go over pricing before they provide any services. They have very reasonable prices and also honor their warranty parts above and beyond. I have been going here since 2013 consistently and my car is now 10 years old. Absolutely can trust these guys with all of your vehicles needs. Cant say enough what great service you get here! The absolute best.

Not Recommended. I asked the manager and the kid who came to truck, do not rotate. What do they do? Rotate the tires! And I dont have a clue how. Pretty sad how they treated another customer. Wouldnt even look at his truck.he diagnosed it from behind the counter. So slow too. Very Dissatisfied and theTruck still isnt balanced properly and the tech used an impact on my wheels. Unbelievable that I have to get it redone. Put 40 sticky weights on my mag wheels. I am behind words....

I set up an appointment for 1:00 to have my brakes replaced, and was told to take a seat well get it done today. At 3:00, after sitting there for 2 hours I was called up only to be told they cant get to my car today, and that I should come back tomorrow. John told me not to worry they wont charge me for today, not sure what he was going to charge me for he did nothing except waste my afternoon. I should be charging them for wasting my time. I watched multiple customers come in while there, and they all promised them they would be done by days end. Appointments mean nothing here, dont waste your time.

I made an appointment one week ago but still wait 7 hours to get alignment down. I was told it should be done in 2 hours. After 2 hours, no progress. My car was still sitting outside. They told me in automotive nothing is guarantee and asked me to wait another 2 hours. After another 2, still no progress. They said something wrong with one of their rack. Finally, it was completed after 7 hours wait. Their manager told me they only have 1 technician but got 30 appointments. Why did you open 30 appointments without hiring more technicians? They should be honest to their customer not making something up for their excuse.

These guys were great, got my wheel alignment done right, would recommend all day.

Dropped my daughters car around 1pm for a battery, I was told by Ron it would only take a couple of hours. I just called at 5 because I hadnt heard from him and was told he had left for the day and they didnt think they could get to the car until Monday cause they had no one to work on it tomorrow. Really why not tell me when I dropped it off so I could have taken it somewhere else. We will never go back nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

Needed to replace two tires. Service at the desk was fast, efficient, and professional. My only complaint was with the amount of time I was TOLD it would take, vs what it actually took. Dont tell a customer it will only be a bit longer, an hour or so when its going to be longer. In any event, I have used them in the past and plan to return. I just appreciate honesty.

I was having brake problems and had done some work to track down the source of the problem. I took it in, let them know what was occurring, and expected them to do some diagnostic work. Their call to me was, that it needed new front brakes, said they had the parts, itd be a couple of hours and itd be good to go. Now, it most likely needed brakes, but now rather than later, Im not convinced. The next morning when I arrived to pick it up I was told there were more problems - a couple of brake lines and the master cylindar. This is where I question their diagnostic process, and because the way the work was done, it doesnt appear they tested whether the master cylinder was bad or not. You know, its easier, quicker and has higher billing to just replace parts rather than run diagnostics. They did replace the master cylinder, yet the reservoir was changed also, with what sure looks like a used one. They did discount the retail price, given the circumstances - which was very much appreciated. But clearly, the mechanic was pissed off or had better things to do, because he did not properly attach the air cleaner, didnt even bother securing another cover and spilled brake fluid all over the place - which according to the container is caustic and flammable. You know, I have had good experiences with these guys in the past, so I dont want to totally knock them, but I gotta give them a 2 on this job, because the way this was handled was shoddy. And the workmanship at the end, makes me question the overall workmanship. If he just threw stuff together, didnt tighten things down properly, do I have to worry about things coming loose and falling apart?!

This Firestone location is my go-to place for oil changes and tire rotations. I also purchased my last set of tires here. I had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Appointments are highly recommended as they are quite busy. They were running 30 minutes behind but held my place while I ran a couple errands and came back in 25 minutes and they took my car for the oil change and tire rotation along with a complimentary safety inspection

Im blown away by the extremely fast and great service that had my car in and out in 24 hours! I first went to my dealership and was told that I needed to leave it but they wouldnt be able to to even look at it for a couple days! Will definitely be back!

WAITED 6 hours for ALINGMENT!!!! Unacceptable...even that I already made appointment. What worst, the people that came after me also left earlier. I fell asleep in the waiting room for couple hours still they are not done with my car yet. They only work on things that they can make money first then putting someone for service later on. Then whats the point in buying services from them. The brand obviously do not care for their customer service.

We made an appointment for for a change and tire rotation and to check some items on a truck. We came in, They took the truck and it did not check what we asked when we made the appointment. So we had to wait an extra half an hour not cool. To back that people could not follow directions. Or put him in the computer properly. Sorry I prefer Belle tire

Dropped my car off at 11am and was told car should be ready around 3. Called them at 330 and was told they were working on the car. Arrived at 5 to pick up the car and car was completed until 6pm closing time .Never received any status phone calls about the car going to be 3 hrs late. Manager though did wave the cost of the oil change.

I set an appointment for 8 o clock. when I got there they were ready to take my car and did a thorough exam and oil change. It took about 40 minutes which is longer than just going to a straight oil place. The waiting room was okay the service technician was knowledgeable overall a good experience.

I have been going to this particular store (Madison Hts, MI) for nearly 5 years now, and have never had any complaints. The guys who used to manage the store (John and Jeff) were very friendly and courteous.However they are now gone and replaced by two other guys, one of whom (Pat) thinks he knows everything and despite my suggestion to change a few parts on my car wouldnt do it.He wouldnt believe me when I told him that Firestone had sent me a certificate/coupon for free diagnostics and demanded that I show it to him. He was adamant about his knowledge about their service deals, coupons and said he had 17 years of experience. And wasnt even apologetic when he saw the sticker on my windshield.My original complaint was about a belt noise I hear when I start my car cold. I suggested that they take a look at is as it needs replacing. He called me to tell me there was nothing wrong with the car, which, I believe, was just to spite me. And when asked if this was normal, he didnt have an answer.I am surprised such folk are allowed to run a place of business. Unless I need something done urgently, I am not going back here. I would much rather drive a little distance to get better service.UPDATE: since this post and a customer feedback on their website, I was called by the manager who offered to have a lot of things done, some parts replaced and services at a very well discounted prices.I can only hope that this was to show Firestone really cares and not just for good reviews.

Good attitudes, good service, reasonable prices, and a national brand which is convenient for travelers. Their computers will have the work history for your vehicle and be able to track their and your vehicles warranty services. Good service and timely completions, although making an appointment is suggested. I recommend them.

I was told it would take an hour to replace 4 tires. Returned 1 1/2 hours later and they hadnt even begun working on the car. Had to reschedule a Dr. appt we would now miss, (thank goodness they waived their $100 late cancellation fee). The car was then finished an hour later, the work seemed fine but get your scheduling in order Firestone! Also good thing I called the day before because they had to order our tires.

Jeff, Steve,& Eric took care of all our vehicles. Always professional, informative, and courteous! Looked for discounts, alternatives, & kept me & mine safe on the road!!! However, Jeff & Steve have left and although Eric is still wonderful, the new guy, Jon, lacks customer service, friendliness, and doesnt check the status of vehicles leaving the shop. I had to return to reset all the digital displays after the battery was changed. Charged us for a diagnostic after my husband, who is a mechanic, told him it was the fuel pump and sent a note with the tow truck person stating it was the fuel pump. Who does that to a tried and true customer?!👎👎👎 Looks like we will be looking for a new Firestone.

They had the tires that I wanted and they were $100 off on a set of four. The service was impeccable. (the service has gotten worse since my initial review. I paid $1800 on brake tires and brakes, including a new master cylinder and power booster. The brakes have been squealing and spongy AF ever since. Firestone has given me the runaround and the problem ON MY NEW BRAKES remains.)

Got tires on the wifes SUV last week. Right size, right price and great service. These guys know what they are doing.

Last fall I bought a set of tires, made appointment for noon they had only 1mechanic working too 3 hours to do a set of tires, yesterday made a noon appointment for my wife’s car a set of tires and rear brakes car wasn’t done till 5:30, no apologies they were trying to make some sort of excuse, sorry but I know they had all parts since they told me that the day before and it’s not. 5 hour job they just let it sit there while working on other cars, So why the appointment? Never mind being honest!

Service was outstanding very clean very professional I was amazed at the pricing I highly recommend five stars for this Firestone they open up at 7:30 in the morning I got there after 9 I was out after 10 for shocks all the way around. Great job to run the manager and his team. I have more work to be done on my 2002 Dodge Durango all the work will be done at that facility

I cant remember the guys name that was at the counter, but I was in there today around 1:30 ish, he was very nice and very helpful. He said that my car would be ready in an hour and a half, to two hours, and it was ready in an hour. I highly recommend this location.

Made an appointment, arrived 10 minutes early. There were no other people in the waiting area and the parking lot was not full and neither were the work bays. I was told it would take 45 minutes to simply balance and rotate 4 tires. I left and returned 50 minutes later. My car hadnt been touched. When I questioned why it wasnt finished per my appointment, I was told thats not how appointments work. I disagreed and was told again that they dont work that way - clearly he didnt feel that even an apology was necessary. I left and will never return to this store.

Excellent service!!! Had to have a tire replaced after hitting a nail a week before.Previously went to another location that said they checked and filled all 4 tires, but apparently missed this second tire that had a nail in it as well.Will totally recommend to people I know in the area.

Ron the manager did a wonderful job by scheduling me in at the last minute to look at a noise I had. He is really good at keeping you informed. The other Firestone desk guy, not so much. When I asked the other guy to see what needed to be replaced, he wasnt that receptive to it. I had to ask twice--not impressed.As it It turns out it was a right wheel bearing that was worn and after some waiting, the part they received was for the wrong side of the vehicle so more waiting occurred than it had to. Other than that, I was impressed with Ron and how informative he was and took care of me.

Called and made an appointment for $550 worth of service. Told them i was on break from work. Ron said, well get you in and out in a hurry. Showed up 20 minutes early. Almost 2 hours later they hadnt even begun work.I drove up the street to belle tire on 15 mile and crooks. Spoke to Jake. $100 cheaper and they immediately started work.Never again, Firestone.

The guy at the front desk is kind and helpful, but theres a six hour wait because they are short staffed you might want to leave your car.

Absolutely the worst experience every single time. They never check my warranty with Enterprise,i wait for hours, and they never get to me. Theyre always rude on the phone and have poor attitudes. They lack guest care and have been the worst firestone yet for years. I wont even go into a firestone because of them. You guys really need new staff or training,because thingd are highly unprofessional.

Dont bother making an appointment, service manager doesnt care about your time. They will give you appointment even if they are backed up to 5 hours. A courtesy call or something should have been done so customer times will not be wasted.

Fast and courteous service. They even put my old tires in bags (I was keeping them) so they wouldnt get my cargo area dirty. Nice touch!

It was time for me to replace my set of tires for my Acura TL. I had been doing business with Discount Tires for over 5-6 years. Upon recommendation from my parents (they have been clients there for a long time), i decided to give Firestone a try. The tires were replaced without problems. However, my car started having a loud noise after I got my car back. After i took the vehicle back, the manager Ron told me it was a tiny rusted hole in the exhaust pipe and sent me down the street to get it repaired. It makes no sense that there was no sound before they worked on my car and suddenly it turned up. There was also a long delay with the work. Although i was 30 minutes late for my appointment, it took them 3 hours for me to get the vehicle back. It was totally a disregard for my time. i dont trust the work that they do and I wont go back again.

Get an appointment and be prepared to leave your car. They are a busy shop, but they tell you that when they call. Fair price, good work.

Third trip to this location. Went for oil change, tire leak, tire pressure system malfunction, and check engine light. Oil change was done (?) And a tire was patched but there was no look into the check engine light or tire pressure system warning. Via a phone call I was told a brake light was out which I agreed to repair. They eventually called back saying I had LED light they didnt carry (90$ish from looking up) so they couldnt repair. The kicker here is I took it to dealer only to find all my brake lights were fine. So Im curious about accuracy on the jobs Ive had done previously or if Ive agreed to work I didnt need or didnt actually exist. Id advice caution using this location.

Ralph is a amazing! I asked him to look at a vehicle and see what it needed. I inherited it from my father and it was neglected. I was in Dallas at the time and was wanting to get the vehicle ready to drive to Canada. Ralph, identified what it needed, fixed it in no time, and then on top of it drove it to AutoOne on his own time to help me out to get it detailed. I trusted the shop and Ralph and was amazed at how accommodating he/they were. He stayed past closing two nights to assist me. His customer service is bar none the best I have ever witnessed at an auto shop. THANK YOU FIRESTONE... I CAN NEVER REPAY YOU FOR THE OUTSTANDING HONEST SERVICE I RECIEVED. YOU HAVE ME AS A CUSTOMER HANDS DOWN FOR LIFE!!!!!

These people have been amazing. I found them when i used them to install a set of tires as a preferred installer for an online store. I Left with thier lifetime allignment deal and i have been taking both our cars there every couple months for a free allignment as i have been restoring both. They have done tie rods for me as well and its been great. Decent prices and patience for the shade tree.

Poor customer service. Took our car in for new tires, after 6 hours we called about progress. They hadnt even looked at it. 2 hours later they tell us they dont have the right tires to fit my SUV. They were supposed to call us this morning about getting tires from another location, its noon now and no call. Looks like theyve lost a sale. Too bad the location on Woodward closed, that team was great.

Good experience. I really dont like auto repair places but this store bent backwards for me. I had a pot hole tire and since the tires were Firestone, the sales guy looked up my warranty and authorized a pro-rated price. Good show.

Scheduled an appointment for 11am. Dropped the car off at 10am. By 3 pm it still hadnt been taken in. The “manager” said sorry about it. Was not helpful and ultimately rude. Don’t waste your time here.

Went to get a oil change,tire repair and brake check which took 2 1/2 hours to do. A week later the radiator hose just so happen to come completely off causing my antifreeze to leaking All over my engine and over heating my car. The clamp on my hose was not old or broken. I am now having it taken in to my regular mechanic for pressure check but I was told it looked as though it was tampered with. I really hope this is not the case because that is truly upsetting someone would cause a problem to anothers vehicle just so they had to bring it back. This is truly sad. My mechanic now informed me that my oil pan needs to be replaced. We called Ron but he wasnt any help. Your place neglected to tell me that i had or they caused a problem. They let me leave without saying anything. This is terrible business. I wont complain about the money I have to spend to correct this but I do want everyone to be aware when taking your vehicle here.

I had an emergency late on a Sunday and they didnt bat an eye. They really saved me a lot of hassle. Great Service.Update: June 8th 19: These guys are still great. I brought in a Truck that I had just bought and they gave me the straight dope. They could have BSd me, and hosed me for a few hundred. He chose to be honest. You may have lost a few hundred today, but I will bring you guys every car repair I have in the future and that will more than make up for it.

Very Disappointed! Took 3 full days (Friday9am - Monday 3pm) to replace a battery, change the oil, check air/fluids etc, and replace wipers! Then I didnt even get a courtesy call to let me know it was ready. On top of that, I missed out on a nights worth of work because it took so long to complete 😡 Ill take my business elsewhere!!!

I brought in two 10 inch scooter rims with the old tubes and tires already removed. just wanted the new ones i had put on which the mechanic told me he could do. got a call back that he popped one tube and that he couldnt find another. so i had to drive across town to buy another one. got a call later in the day that the other tube wasnt holding air after i had already tested it before i bought it in. so i had to drive back across town to buy another tube and the tool to put the wheels on. i was told i would receive a reimbursement for the tubes i bought but when i brought in the receipt they told me the cost of labor would equal out the cost. In the end though i still paid for labor after covering two of their mistakes and wasting my time. horrible service that they expect you to pay for. Stay Away From This Store.

I don’t know what it is about this Firestone Location but every time I go to other places like the one on Van Dyke or Gratiot, They’re either closed for no reason or doesn’t have enough staff and the wait time is 3+ hours. I come to find myself coming right back here for all service issues except for Lube. ;)

They are professional. This place is always busy, I recommend making an appointment (or dropping your car off) if you dont want to be there for a couple hours.

I got charged for valve stems that didnt get installed and the chrome caps I had didnt get put back on. Im not sure Id go back.

After working the grave yard shift I noticed a broken nail in my tire. Really luck I even noticed it because my tire wasnt even low. I decided instead of plugging it myself Id take it here to get it patched as I still have plenty of life on my tires. After checking in at the desk and answering some questions about my vehicle make and model. I had a seat to wait my turn. While waiting I watch 3 other people come in after me and and were taken care of before me. Then after an hour and 20 minutes of waiting a young kid came out to look at my tire. He days I would need a whole new tire cause the nail was too close to the side wall. He told me that was the company policy and even advised me to take it somewhere else. They made me wait an hour and 20 min after working all night to tell me I needed a new tire or take it somewhere else. Also you can see into the garage and the mechanics didnt seem to be very busy. One older guy had about 3 coffee breaks while i was waiting. He could of walked out to my vehicle during 1 of those coffee breaks to look at my tire before making me wait so long. That is horrible customer service and a huge scam of telling people they need to pay for new tires when they dont. You are better off going discount tire, belle tire, or sears auto which are all within minutes of this shop. They are all also cheaper. I will never give this place business and suggest you find somewhere else to spend your hard earned money.**UPDATE**I took my tire to discount tire not far from this location and and they actually measured all my treads and took the tire off the car and dunked it in water. Then they found the nail and pulled it out and dunked my tire again and found there was no leak! It was just a small nail in the tread that didnt go all the way thru even!! They cleaned it up balanced all my tires and charged me nothing for their service! Goes to show that firestone is a bunch of lazy scam artists. Firestone looked at the tire and determined I needed a whole new tire without even taking it off the car! Thank goodness I didnt fall for that! Do not give your business to firestone they are complete crooks trying to scam people for new tires they dont even need.
