Im leaving this in the hopes that a higher position person might see this as I do believe this store specifically does not deserve a 1 star but Food Lion as a WHOLE does.I was very excited to use the online ordering service now offered but Ive only ever been able to log into my account once to order groceries and havent been able to log back in since. I literally just spent 40 minutes on tech support with them trying to access my account and it was like I was talking to a child. They have zero knowledge of how the system works and after 40 minutes I still dont have a working account.If youre going to go in person this store is great but dont even bother trying the online ordering system.

The staff is always friendly and they usually have what we need. We would like to see an expanded seafood offering and a more reliable ice fridge.

I went the store for some purchase but the lady named Rosa was so so rude, she was actually the worst staff I had came across. When I asked what’s the total she didn’t even look at me instead doing her own things . Later she messed my order too. She was so unwilling to work and help . She was just with full of wrong attitude. She was in hurry to leave the store and messed my whole order.I hope this review is seen by the corporate level too and take actions accordingly.Definitely not recommended this store in which staff is not doing their things and helping the customers

This store is good if you don’t have a whole lot of money to do your grocery shopping. They have all the products one needs to fill the cabinets and refrigerator.

Sometimes good deals. Low rating because they need to price and stock things properly. I accidentally bought something 10 days past the use by date bc I trusted this store. Another example: food lion meatballs advertised on shelf @ $2.99, but rings up @ $4.49. Seems costly for a 28oz bag of non-organic generic meatballs. Considering the sudden influx in gas prices, we need to save as much money as we can. Also, as for the no mask shoppers review by glen iziot, people do have medical exemptions and no one to affordably shop for them so whine all you want and rebel but youll get no where. Its CDC law to allow these exemptions. Its companies that dont allow the exemptions that should be fined. Food lion doesnt restrict people from shopping and they follow the law sir

As expected. They just remodeled this location in 2020 and it is much nicer than it was before. The new produce and deli sections are nice. The layout is much better now. Negatives, the parking lot seems to get a lot of trash dumped on the ground. Sometimes they seem to close earlier than the posted time.

I love going to Food Lion always nice friendly staff. Fresh Baked Goods and Produce and it is always clean.

I use to love this place but lately the food lion in Manassas is never stocked properly. So I have to run to another store to get things food lion doesnt have. Please start stocking this store and you will have more customers.

Shoppers with no masks? I think we should follow the law but when questioned the management says they cant follow or enforce this. Watched store workers with masks covering there face not nose. I have 2 grand kids and a daughter with Covid-19. I will take a rebel stand.

Great customer service. Very clean, good prices, fresh vegetables. I try to keep it short and sweet, I feel as though that may give off a fake review vibe But this is genuinely my favorite grocery store as far as quality and the value of a dollar as far as meat and produce. The only time that I havent seen this place completely stocked was when we all went crazy at the beginning of covid around March. And that wasnt their fault, they work hard. I always see soneone cleaning and stocking when I go in.

Love my food lion. They recently went thru renovations. Honestly I liked the previous design but this seems more space conscious. They have a great deli section and great staff!

Food Lion never had a bad experience

I havent been in FL for a while, I was pleased to see how theyve set up their produce area for social distancing. The aisles are wide throughout the store. My only negative was that I got thirsty and there isnt a good/large selection of cold, ready to drink beverages. Otherwise, I will start going there frequently.

So I just wanted to tell you about my TOGO experience, today was my first day using it and I highly recommend it. Samantha and her team exceeded my expectations and when things went wrong she took charge and made sure that I left happy. Apparently the produce truck was extremely late today and there were several things missing from my order. Of course when I spoke with her I was a little upset about that she reassured me that this doesn’t normally happen as I am a first time user. The way she took care of me and store was amazing. Not only did she give me a gift card but when the truck gets there she plans on giving me those items for free. That’s amazing but this is not why I am writing this review. It’s not every day that employees will go the extra mile when customers are upset and in distress they usually write you off and give you the quickest answer just to get you out of their hair. Amazing customer service! I ordered a lot of produce today and everything that was there looks great!

I am happy we have the order and go function. The store is kept clean and organized.They keep reducing the number of gluten free items. The chicken looks like it has been beat up by the butcher.

Many lights out in store making it very dark. Bathroom has a flashing strobe light. Remodeling disaster area... Hard to find things. There was no milk to speak of, and no snow storm in site? No bananas either. Whats up with that? This has got to be the most remodels of a store Ive seen in a long time. 2 times in 10 years. Are we going back to Bloom or something else? Id say to avoid until they finish remodeling.

Theyre remodeling right now but there havent been any issues with store organization or maneuverability at all. Very impressed. The staff is wonderful 99% of the time!

Unfortunately, it is the closest grocery store to where I live. Only pro, less expensive than average stores.Would love for corporate/district manager to come visit as a customer. Inconsistent produce, crazy long wait times (never have seen more than 2 registers open). Hopefully they can restart this place.

No cleaning product at the door, only paper towels. Vegetable room looked uninviting and was missing many items. Clerk didnt offer a greeting however her grocery belt was nice and clean.

They have early hours for elderly. I am immune compromised (cancer) so this will be useful.

This Food Lion location has a mask entry policy with no enforcement. While shopping last night I counted 8 patrons without masks...rather alarming considering the times were in.

Good prices and selections. UPDATE: Dropped the rating from 5 to three for the reason that again they dont have a single item I wanted for sale even though the sale only started 2 days ago. This happens on too many occasions and will seriously reduce my desire to continue shopping there except as a last choice in the hope that they may finally have the sale item in stock.

Medium sized, friendly staffed grocery store. Usually has anything I am looking for in stock.Has recently been going through renovations, although not complete, their vision is clearly coming together.

Our Haymarket Food Lion closed down on 10/23. We’ve been in search of a decent replacement ever since their closure. This Food Lion will not be that replacement. While the employees were friendly and polite, the presentation of their food products was marginal. All of the lighting fixtures in the produce sections and freezer displays were turned off. It was hard to shop for items in the dark and the food looked dull and lifeless. Will keep searching...

Not in the best area; but for quick things it’s good- they also carry brands most don’t like Gibbles potato chips- and other specialty items; if you need something you can’t find anywhere else I’d check here. Sales are good too.

Hit Food Lion three times a week, sometimes more. Nice to have two stores to choose from. All depending on my travel route for a given day. Nice selection of everything I can imagine that I need. From Asparagus to Zagnuts.

Food Lion: If you want it, we probably wont have it. Best bet: look in the meat department for cuts that the trailer crowd wont buy. Smart shoppers will cruise that display, watching for the moment the meat manager slashes the retail price, usually one day before they have to pull the product, but plenty of time to dress the meat and either freeze it or cook it up immediately. Time tested method; havent been hospitalized once.

It’s in a creepy location but the prices are great when items are on sale- highly comparable to ALDI; however when items are not on sale the price is way too high. The self checkout is a great improvement.

Great little grocery store servicing the area with a nice staff and great management. Whenever I come by to buy all of their carrots 🥕 for my horses they always restock. They are better at this than Walmart!

Favorite grocery store

Thot I answered this already. Two Food Lion stores situated so that regardless of my inbound direction, from North or South, I can stop off on way home. Each store stocked excellently from Asparagus to Zag-nuts. Pricing is competitive and quality is excellent.

Its clean and well maintained. Prices are reasonable and the selection of products is good. Friendly staff and convenient for me to get to.

Smaller food lion. Not as clean as most and cashier was really slow. Stock charts were parked in front of alot of shelves making hard to get to some items
