This is my single, favorite grocery store. I really love the fresh produce and wonderful wine selection they have available. Really going to miss Fresh Market since weve just recently moved away from the area. We stopped by on our way out of town for a few of our favorite snacks. This is a really great grocery store with really nice people!

Please DO NOT eat the chopped up produce. It is NOT WASHED. This place is filthy. They do not follow protocol in washing their produce. They do not wash anything before putting it because it takes too much time. They are just worried about filling up the shelves with unwashed produce. It is not safe for human consumption.

I used to shop here a lot but really don’t like that the store is not enforcing the mandatory mask rules. The aisles are very narrow & the store is not very big. Stopped by earlier today and several people were not wearing masks & nobody did anything about it. Where is management? Also, please teach your employees how to wear masks properly. It’s not that difficult.

Pretty nice and clean store with nice staff. Great fresh products available. A bit pricey, but they tend to have higher value goods and fancier items. Pretty bougie if Im being honest. Haha

DO NOT EVER SHOP IN THIS STORE OR ANY OTHER FRESH MARKET STORES. I was injured in the Mandeville store because of the negligence of the management to keep the floors clean and safe. I slipped and fell on smashed berries left on the floor in the produce department. My claim was assigned to Gallagher Bassett a third party claims administration. Fresh Market and Gallagher Bassett have done nothing but make excuses. They do not return calls or emails. Their standard response is I DON’T KNOW!NOTHING I CAN DO! My advise DO NOT STEP FOOT IN ANY OF THEIR STORES BECAUSE IF YOU DO AND HAPPEN TO FALL ON THEIR FILTHY FLOORS AND ARE INJURED YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK. HIRE AN ATTORNEY IMMEDIATELY.

Not sure you can tell but the meat is GREEN. I went here looking for champagne grapes. They had them but every carton had dry and molded grapes. There were 7 cartons. Also they had white strawberries in the same condition. I reported both to the manager on duty. Idk why I proceed to get 2 lamb steaks but I did. Around 9pm I added garlic, salt, and pepper to both and let sit over night. The next morning the color was changing. Figured it was the garlic because I didnt know much about lamb meat. But when I saw the fat (white part) had turned green I called the store. No trouble returning them but I did ask employees and was told the produce sometimes regularly looks like that and last week, they had customers returning the lamb chops because they were bad. Wont be going back.

This is by far the BEST grocery store in the city!! They offer the freshest food whatsoever. They have premade food that is easy to take home with and prepare for your family that takes only minutes. It is an amazing clean place to visit and shop. I highly suggest this store if you are a person on the go trying to get everything accomplished before you get home so that you’re able to feed your family and what not. All in all, I highly suggest this grocery store over the others!! Not only are the people amazingly nice, but they have everything you could possibly need to make any sort of dinner for your family. They have the freshest fruit to the freshest vegetables to the freshest meat!

This store is great as they have wonderful fresh foods in here, and their meat is amazing as well. They have so many fresh foods here that you can not get elsewhere, and my wife always loves coming with me to see what all she finds that she likes too. There are quite a few evenings where we dont have to cook, and can get something freshly cooked there to bring home.

Wanted canolis not covered in chocolate so I asked the lady in the bakery if more were in the back. She hesitated and said that she would have to make them and that would take alot of time and that the answer was yes they have the stuff to make them but she wasnt going to make them as they dont make Canolis on request. I went there solely for this and I have never had someone not make the plain ones for me. Clearly the service is going down hill and can say I will not go as much. So disappointed.

Love this little market. They have lots of fresh things in the meat, produce and snack area that we love like sushi, sandwiches and salads. There bakery has good stuff too.

The Fresh Market staff are all about the customers. They are knowledgeable about their products. The atmosphere is relaxing. What I love is the store’s design with its touch of the past combined with modern technology. The fruits and vegetables are the best. I love shopping their specials which are always good and well put together. I look forward to shopping at Fresh Market.

Such a pleasant shopping experience compared to other grocers in the area. The ambiance and general environment is so much more relaxed. Their meat and seafood case is awesome. Always something different to try out. They have great coffee and produce as well. Friendly staff round out an always enjoyable experience here.

Great quality food at reasonable prices. They also have some incredible weekly specials. They have some of the best quality whole bean specialty coffees available on the NorthShore.

I have shopped at Fresh Market for years with very few bad experiences. This is my first time writing a review. This review has more to do with how a complaint was handled and the fact that the mishap occurred a second time after it was brought to the attention of management. Not only did it happen twice but after I pointed it out to management they brushed it off. Problem was fresh wild caught salmon filets that was sold with scales on it. My point was at least ask if the customer wants it scaled. By the time you scale it after it’s already filets the water makes it fall apart. I usually rinse it and cook it. My point scale it beforehand. I was also told that other people don’t complain. Tried contacting corporate but couldn’t reach them. I was told that they would check with the other stores that I said I bought it from and there were no scales on it as if I were being dishonest.

The food is always the best quality. It is presented in ways to highlight its freshness. Great bakery.

Looks like prices have gone up, used to love this place. Still pretty good though, I was looking for Pinenuts, they had them but WOW such a tiny bag for the price.

I love fresh market! It feels like home when you go. Staff is always friendly and polite. They stay on top of organizing and cleaning!

Loved this place. Most of the things they sell are organic. The prices are high though. They have normal energy drinks. I was shocked.

This place is small and not as many options as Whole Foods, but what they do have is always super quality and so I go here instead. The bakery items are always delicious as well. And their coffee selectionis pretty damn good.

CC Manager said Cant I help You? I ask are you MGR. They replied one of them. I explain wanted 3 pizzas they were saying would be 40 min wait for uncooked pizza. They said that was norm. Sorry but have to call them out. Thats way to long for a customer to wait with no one in line.

What can I say about shopping at the fresh market? You just feel rich while youre walking through those high class areas, stylistic lighting, exotic specialty brands, organically grown single source coffees, and a meat counter that just makes you crazy hungry. I get a kick out of watching the rich people wander the aisles saying can I get some of that, and some of that over there...? I always feel better after shopping at the fresh market, but my wallet is certainly lighter!

One of my favorites

This store has a unique vibe to it. I think it is refreshing. I find options that I dont know if I can find anywhere else. I love buying a half gallon of organic OJ there that is freshly squeezed. It doesnt have every option, but they also have a unique bulk section. When I looked puzzled a nice lady asked me if I needed help. She was knowledgeable and answered my questions.

I love this place and my husband love when the meat is on sale. The market is always clean and the staff is super helpful.I like the 20.00 meal plans and the Rotisserie chicken deal with 2 sides for 12.99.

Highly, highly recommend this Fresh Market in particular. One of the managers, Christopher made me feel right at home on my fist visit to his store. I will go out of my way to return to this lovely store just to engage with the many staff members that helped me navigate the store during that visit. Highly recommend their fresh ruben sandwiches too. It was quite delicious.

Sushi chef on site... always delicious and couldnt be more fresh. Gorgeous selection of produce, fresh flowers and fresh-baked pastries.

This store is so Artisanal in a way and it is great. Only problem is they need to have a bigger bread/bun selection. They sell sausages and other items in that area and have nothing to put them on bread wise. Otherwise, the Tuesday beef special is great.

Great place to find organic produce and gourmet foods. Wonderful selection of wine and beer. Delicious prepared foods & Baked Goods, including breads. Beautiful Arrangements in Floral Dept, including seasonal items. Large grocery selection in a small town market feel.

I enjoy shopping there, however I feel that there has been a steady decline in the quality of some areas. As an example, the backery department has declined steadily. The French bread when it came from the oven was crispy, now when you pick it up it is as soft as regular bread.In the meat and fish department the attendants are hardly ever out front with the customers. It is as if they are hiding.Please take an objective look at your overall operation.Loyal customer

I feel very claustrophobic in this store but the people are very nice. We live in a different state and only come to use our Christmas bonus.our card didnt work. The manager worked hard to make sure it would work.

Limited selection of fancy foods and gorgeous produce with a hefty price. They have been offering deals on meat and meal deals lately that make it worth a trip, but I have to make a second trip to a more typical supermarket to actually complete my weekly grocery order. Without going broke, that is. The bakery has some exceptionally delicious treats, though. Great for bringing to friends and family or a special occasion.

Recent light remodeling has given an open/airy feel when you walk in, much nicer.Still nice veggies, fish, meats and deli (best chicken dinner deal IMHO). Not the best shop for staples or bulk grains or seeds. Still need to hit a couple other shops.Aquistapace for wines/liquor and cheese, etc.

I went to New York 20 years ago and fell in love with almond paste filled croissants. Ever since then, I have been searching for some in South Louisiana, and Ive finally found them in Mandeville. I live in Lafayette and I frequently go there for fresh bread, pastries, and coffee samples while I shop. I will stop at this location before I leave for home to get more of those wonderful croissants. By the way my son took one to work and texted me saying that was the best croissant he had ever eaten.

It is a treat to shop in this store. We like it! A bit pricey but they do have some unique things one cannot find anywhere else in the area.

Nice place, good atmosphere. Interesting products, kind of like a Whole Foods or Sprouts. Prices are moderate. Not cheap but not terrible either.

Most often I return home with top notch produce. On Monday, Jan. 21, 2016, it was not so. The pint of Bluets blueberries were bitter, the Wish Farms 1 lb strawberries were flavorless and the watermelon 1/4 slice had a slimy interior texture..Let me follow up by adding that my ribeye, prepared this evening is perfection. The sesame bread is hands down the best Ive had. And the chocolate pie is scrumptious!I will return the produce, knowing full well that management will take care of my issue. Far and away better than Whole Foods!

Very good service, attentive and helpful

Having just relocated from the Chicago area this store is a great substitute for those of us addicted to Trader Joes. I am especially fond of the coffee selection and this store will ensure I see no end to feeding my addiction. The wine selection was also excellent with a good variety of local and global options (no 3 buck chuck though). Having to come from Slidell this will most likely not be my first choice for grocery shopping but will be a frequent stop to restock my coffee and wine supply.

The fresh market is a small store that has a decent selection, but it tries to be upscale with a price to match. People in this area have disposable income, so they do well. I prefer shopping at their competition, unless they are the only place I can purchase an item.

I am a frequent shopper at The Fresh Market in Mandeville. As of lately when I try to purchase specialty items at the DELI, I am either ignored or rudely helped. One lady who is Latino with her hair tightly pulled back and wears disgustingly red lipstick, begrudgingly waits on me. Her co-worker, a white mid 50-60 year old with long, stringy course hair is just as RUDE if not more. She went out of her way to make rude noises when she was SERVING ME. I am appalled by the all this RUDENESS. If you dont like to serve the PUBLIC....find another job! Management needs FIRE these two women. Cant wait until WHOLE FOODS opens. I will be spending my hard earned money there!

Its a dirty dark whole foods that Jacks up the price of more common items under the false pretenses of an organic grocery. The staff doesnt care about you. They just want to make it to the end of their shift and it shows. Dont bother unless you like cramped dark food shopping

This store is continuing to go down hill. Years ago it was a beautiful store, great customer service, a great selection of fresh foods. That hasn’t been the case the last few years. Employees seen rushed, they don’t give you the time of day. They are always out of date products in the grocery section, produce quality is worst that you would see at a Walmart. Management doesn’t seem to care, & they are biased to certain guests. I will make sure all my friends & family do not shop here anymore, it’s such a disgrace.

Upscale market that has specialty things u cant always find and beautiful produce. Prefer over Whole food which is close by. Friendly staff and ample parking

I like certain aspects of fresh market but im a little sick of getting molded berries. I inspect them everytime i buy them and the next day, there would be mold. I know the staff is doing everything they can do but if corporate could work on getting a better produce distributor, that would be great. Staff if great.

The staff is engaged with your requests and always helpful and courteous. The meat,deli, and bakery selections are excellent.

Small selection of groceries, but good selection of premium meats and seafood, and a nice bakery. Nice place to grab a prepared meal for dinner. Make sure you check the sales paper, many of their items go on sale frequently.

This fresh market isn’t my favorite. It could be the age or the shopping center. Compared to the Tuscaloosa location, this is dingy and understocked. There was an unpleasant odor of turned food. Can’t reccomend the location, but do like the company.

Cozy grocery store with grass fed meats, nitrate-free bacon and deli meats, antibiotics-free chicken, imported cheeses and great wine selection. Extremely warm & nice cashiers & always helpful employees.

I always leave with more than I planned on.... everything is so yummy!
