What is going on with the produce, and other products. For the last several months, the majority of the produce is close to rotting, or rapidly deteriorates a day after being brought home. Buying chips? Stale. Donuts? Mold. Cheese? Mold. Lettuce? Rotten. Meat?? Two days after we bring it home it smells awful. These are all issues that have started within the last three months. What the heck?

Good selection but can be overpriced at times. Flies in the veggie and fruit area were bad.

Everything was so neat and the food was fresh and delicious. The salad bar is out of this world great. The cashier was friendly and very efficient at her job. Great job to your workers!!

Enjoyable experience. Aisles are wide. Signage is good except the signs for 2 aisles are missing. Checkouts are different from what Im accustomed to, but easy enough.

DO NOT COME HERE FOR LUNCH. I used to love coming in for hot lunch, snack packs, and rotisserie chicken. Awful selection of snack packs, chicken is now $7, hot lunch worse than a gas station and the salad area also took a turn for the worst recently. Do yourself a favor and go to fresh market. I, along with my whole office, am wondering why has this place gone downhill.

This is my favorite Rouses still in the Mandeville/Covington area. Always pleasant, helpful, well stocked, affordable, and convenient.

This location was built by Rouses versus being acquired. The layout and offerings are superior to the acquired locations and competing grocers.

Love this store. Always stocked and very clean. Sales are awesome. Very pleasant to shop here. Not so congested and they have way more unique items that you cant find then WAL-MART. Rouses is my first choice for shopping, even if I had to pay a bit more.

I come to this store very frequently. Always clean, always well stocked. The meat department is especially good. Customer service is top notch!

They didnt have rabidouxs sausage so I had to make due with savoies smh 🤦

This is a great grocery store in my opinion. They have a large selection of products from Louisiana and make all your cooking complete. They have a great deli within house Meats. Bakery department also gives you a great selection to choose from especially of king cakes that mother brought time and other special occasions. They good quality sushi next to the deli and that rotisserie chicken and barbecue is good. They also have a great selection of seafood and quite often have a barbecue cooking something outside as well as Boiling Crawfish outside. They will also help you get your groceries to the car if you need which is very convenient for the elderly citizens of our town. This is my favorite location of all the stores. These are a couple of pictures birthday cakes that I had done personally for me in the bakery department. Your decorating team is outstanding and you wont be disappointed when you show up to a party one of these cakes.

Buy things here that I cant find elsewhere- like Crumpets and Italian sparkling grapefruit water.

Average supermarket. Nothing special. Selection is ok/average. Its very clean with friendly people, though. But I guess it shouldnt be so critical - I was just passing through LA & Im not sure what is standard & what is exceptional for a grocery store in this state. Im a Texan who has been spoiled by south Texas HEB markets.

This is also a wonderful grocery store in Mandeville! It is very clean and they have really nice things, such as flowers and ready-made meals made by their own cooks that are great! They are very friendly at this location on East Causeway approach and their selection is second to none. If I could offer some way to improve, it would be to look at your prices and look at the Walmart that is 8/10 of a mile from your store. I know you’re not able to beat all of their prices but find a way to at least give incentives to loyal customers, like myself! All in all, this is a wonderful store that I will continue to shop at without reservation!

Routes of Mandeville is laid out differently from Hammond or Ponchatoula. Otherwise, you get the same quality of produce and friendly service. Some items you simply cant find anywhere else.

The best floral department if I do say so myself! The girls keep it clean and eye catching with their balloon displays, beautiful plants, and showcase. You can definitely see that they are passionate about their jobs. The bakery is always delightful to pass by. I love the selection of cakes and how some of them are decorated for either the seasons or holidays. They are always fun and festive and Im happy to see that they love to share their creativity. The sushi bar is definitely fresh and has some of the best to choose from. The managers and their employees form every department are always friendly too. Its always good to walk into a store and feel comfortable asking for assistance.

Need to carry one supplier of Ear Grey decaf tea.

Rouses has a smaller selection than the chains, but great alcohol and local food selection. Love the premade meat selection that are grill ready. Prices are comparable to the bigger folks.

I love Rouses. The shelves are always well stocked. The people working there are always incredibly helpful and friendly. They always have sufficient staff at the checkout. The only reason I dont give 5 stars that they dont have the absolute lowest prices. The small premium you pay on prices are well worth saving the aggravation of other places.

I attended the bourbon raffle in Mandeville, La. and was very pleased with the whole experience. Very well run and very entertaining. One of the best wine selections I have ever seen.The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Went there for a bourbon tasting. Was absolutely blown away. The variety quality and quantity of Bourbons was amazing. Looking forward to the next event!

Really awesome grocery chain. Their deli is amazing, everything I have had from there is great. Grocery prices will be higher than Walmart unless you shop their store specials but it also isnt crowded and crazy like Walmart either. Overall great place to shop.

Veggie sushi mislabeled. I was on my way to Gulfport when I stopped at this store for some lunch. I asked the people at the counter if any veggie sushi was already made. They pointed to the trays labeled veggie sushi. I picked up a couple and proceeded to check out. When I ate it, I thought they may have started adding mayonnaise which is veggie but little did I know that it had fake crab meat in it! I smelled like fish for a week. I called the corporate office about it thinking they need to know in case someone with a seafood allergy picks this up. They directed me to the store manager who proceeded to tell me to come into the store to fill out an incident report. I live 2 hours away from Mandeville and asked if I could complete the report at the Lafayette store. I did so the next day and when I asked the manager if I could have a copy of the report which I just completed, he retorted, absolutely not. So, if youre thinking about getting veggie sushi here, be sure to have them make it for you from scratch. Rouses is very stern about their protocols and dont dare ask them for a copy of anything you complete, just take a pic of it with your cell. Whew! Not a fun experience.

Rouses is my main place to shop for groceries. You are always being asked if you need help with anything, and always with a smile. The list goes on and on plus they will deliver if you like. Their sales are the best and the quality of everything is superb.

I like to shop here. The employees are always helpful and polite. They have a great pizza place in the store that is usually pretty cheap, although the prices changed recently. They have a large selection of wine and other drinks. The prices are comparable to Walmart and the produce tastes better, however, once I bought an onion that was starting to rot on the inside.

Not as nice as the other Rouses, but still pretty good with the wine selection. They have an awesome walk in refrigerator for beer!

Always clean and well presented, but the pricing is no longer competitive. The store goes thru staff like mad and those I see more than once dont seem happy to be there. They seem to go out of their way to avoid customers. Save some money and do your major shopping somewhere else.

Rouses in Mandeville is a nice store. Its never overly crowded and Ive been any many different times on different days. Prices are very reasonable. There are certain things I only get at Whole Foods or Fresh Market but for the rest Rouses is my go to store. I also like its locally owned, or its so advertised.

The product selection is quite vast, but poorly organized. I found myself going all over the store trying to find the things I needed. The aisles are also very narrow in order to accomadate the large quantity of options provided.

One thing that you count on at Rouses-- they have everything that you could possibly imagine. Their store is huge and can be a little intimidating but their staff is courteous and willing to help. The store is always clean and well stocked. Their liquor department has every liquor that you can imagine. They carry products that one would not find at a regular grocery store. I love to just walk down the aisles and discover new products.

We asked the manager to open up the express line and he refused to do it, that is the last time I will ever shop at East approach Rouses. Ill be sure to tell all 10,000 of my followers on social media. The checkout line at this location always takes forever, even when the manager is sitting there watching the lines build up I stood in line for 15 minutes while the manager sat there and watched ten feet away and while employees walked around with nothing to do....... if I could give this place minus five stars I would!

Love this store, they have great selections and the produce section is fantastic. I just wish they would install cart corrals in the parking lot. With all the carts left in parking spots makes it look trashy.
