I brought my sons glasses in to be adjusted because the alarms are loose. They claimed to have tightened them but theyre the same exact way I brought them in. The young lady tells me something about the spring not being able to be tightened. So, I tell her I want them replaced because we purchased the protection coverage. I go through the process of ordering new frames only and they tell me theres a co-pay. Whats the point in purchasing the protection coverage when we still have to come out of pocket? That was not explained to us when we purchased the coverage, the only thing the young lady did say was she listed a number things that is covered, never that we would have to come out pocket. I believe they couldve repaired the frame but for what reason they did not.

If youre paying for them up front youll have your glasses the next day. If not forget about it. I was told 7 days and well over 2 weeks later I still am getting the run around from them. Shipped or tracking number means nothing. Why they would tell everyone 7 days is beyond me. Shipped to central lab in Ohio, that means. Even when Im told every day that they shipped. Whatever.

Stopped in to get new glasses, previously have not worn any. I was the only customer yet the girl working wasn’t friendly and didn’t seem to want to help me. We obviously rubbed each other the wrong way, or maybe that’s what I get for stopping in on a Friday evening.

Very disappointed. I spent almost an hour finding the perfect frames so I could get some new glasses It was at the end of the day and they said come back and they will make my glasses. I came back in a couple weeks later and they lost all of my info.. Very unprofessional and unorganized. The person who helped me was very clear that they save our information, but yet they could not find any info on my glasses. What a huge waste of time.. Stay away there are plenty of other organized, high quality eyewear business in the metro.

I literally have a problem everytime I visit.. what kind of company isnt able to email prescriptions? Its 2021. I just wanted to order new glasses online because the ones I got at lenscrafters are falling apart although I was assured they would last several years. Wont be back to this store or clinic. Just one headache after another.

The team lead at this store was fantastic, she was very patient and caring towards my limited budgets and needs in terms of sunglasses with my eye exam. She worked through multiple price points, lens coatings, addons and options as well as letting me know the price breakdown. I will definitely be coming back here for my glasses needs in the future!

Stellar service. The whole Luxotica monopoly aside, this LensCrafters staff is incredibly eager to help, knowledgeable and friendly to talk to. Drew and Cassondra helped me out today (though I have consistently had a good experience here). They did an excellent job of balancing the line between encouraging me to consider a better lens without pushing me into a warranty plan I did not want. They even helped me swap and clean lenses in a pair of glasses I did not purchase at the store. There is a limited variety of options in store (not necessarily a bad thing). Store is clean, well spaced and well organized. Everyone was following mask rules during the Covid-19 period. Surfaces were constantly being sanitized.5 stars for the employees and their work ethic. Also, even though Luxotica owns LensCrafters and brands like Ray Ban, you might get a better deal directly on the brands website. Prices are a bit of a rip off, but if you have good insurance or see a good deal, the service is totally worth it.

I have been a patient here for sometime now and I love them!!! They are very nice and helpful, also professional. I went in on a Friday morning, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a friendly smile. I had a wonderful conversation with the woman behind the desk, she wanted to know about myself and how I was doing. They answered all of my question and told me to call if I had any more, I will definitely be going back there.

Got my glasses from here a year ago. Originally purchased frames from the clearance wall which I ended up dropping and breaking a short time after purchasing, and since those frames were no longer available as I had bought the last ones, I was given a credit toward new frames. The staff spent over an hour with me both times helping me find the perfect pair. Great customer service!

Where to start? My wife and I had an appointment at 3:30. Waited 40 minutes for her appointment.1. It would be nice if someone told us why we were waiting so long.2. I received a text that my glasses were ready. I drove over and the person there said I was trying just trying to reach you. The lens did not fit the frame. Well have to order new lenses. Heres a tip, dont text someone youre glasses are ready until theyre actually ready.3. My wifes glasses was supposed to be ready the following week. Received a call saying the her lens did not fit her frame, so they needed to reorder new lenses. So I asked how long will that be? They said sometime end of the week.3 strikes and Im out. Wont be going there again.

The doctor was great, the exam was fine, pretty normal eye exam. They offer a $39 service where theyll, instead of dialating your eyes, theyll use a special machine so you dont have to deal with discomfort. It is not covered by insurance, though some other places will do it for free. Prepare to be sold on it.I was looking into contacts, and they have a class where they teach you how to put them in and take them out. To get contacts you need to pass the class. The way they talk about buying contacts contingent on passing the class makes you buy into it a little more, so instead of worrying about whether or not I wanted contacts, I worried about passing the class largely because of their phrasing. Prepare to be sold on it.I had brought up multiple times that price was a big concern for me. After asking me what kind of contacts I want (once a day, once a month, etc) I was given a free sample of a once every two weeks pair of contacts. I asked her whether or not they were the cheapest lens they had, she said not at all, and said that the contacts she gave me (which were about $60 over what my insurance covered) were their best brand and the most popular, and that I was getting good contacts. She did not mention other brands. It seemed like she had her sales pitch ready, but I still didnt understand the difference between good contacts and cheap contacts. Im not happy that I was only offered one brand that my insurance didnt fully cover when I had concerns about price, and I was not expecting the sales pitch to come when it did. I am unsure if it was a sales pitch or if cheap contacts are that bad for your eyes, so I cant be too harsh on something I dont know about, but I do wish I left feeling more enlightened. I left this part shortWhen I asked for my PD to be written on my prescription (pupillary distance, which is literally just the distance between your eyes), the technician looked a little uncomfortable (this is the information you need to order glasses from a different place or to order them online, its information on your body you can easily measure yourself) and told me they dont deal with that, and I will have to talk to LensCrafters. Turns out LensCrafters are the guys up front, and she is contracted out along with the doctor to do the medical stuff in the back. Ok, thats fine. The doctor takes a measure of your PD when he is doing the exam, but technically because its not necessary to put on my prescription, they refuse to put it on there. I dont feel like thats right, but I understand that they likely have pressure put on them by the LensCrafters to not give that information out because it will hurt their sales. The LensCrafters sales representative wanted me to pay $25 so I could find out (what was already on file under my name) how many cm my eyes were from each other. Ridiculous. I am pretty sure that the eye exam technician knew it would be $25 but didnt want to tell me, either so the sales rep could talk it over with me, or because she didnt want to deal with a strong reaction from me when I found out it costs you $25 to get the distance between your eyes. Because thats ridiculous. She probably agrees but I cant speak for her.My doctor was nice, the technician was nice, the sales rep was polite, but I did not have a good experience and I blame it on what seems to be the corporate company culture. I do not like walking out of a place feeling like I need to do my own research on glasses and contacts because I did not trust their integrity to give ME the best information and the best experience instead of focusing on the bottom line. If I was willing to pay more out of pocket I know I would have had a good experience, but I did not feel like their ideal customer, and that is not a feeling I should ever have when walking into any store, let alone anything medical.Bottom line to me is that if you are unconcerned about price, you will likely get a fine experience and you will not pick up on the nuances that I did that made my experience (that they got paid for) uncomfortable.

They did just fine. I walked into the Lens Crafters in Maple Grove on a Saturday afternoon to scan what frame styles they had to offer. It took about ten minutes before someone would help me since they were pretty busy. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and finally someone was able to help me. The sales person was very helpful in selecting a style that I liked and had a pretty keen eye on pointing out many complimentary styles. There were times that she stepped away to help other customers, but it was busy and she handeled it very well. Like any optical place, you need a lot of customer service -- and on a busy day, expect to take a chill pill and go with the flow. They had pretty good customer service and took care of me.

Purchased sunglasses and regular prescription glasses both Ray Bans from Lens Crafters in Maple Grove 8 months ago. Since that time his sun glass lens has popped out twice only to be told that the curvature of the frames are the issue and they cant help. Why did they sell him these frames???? His prescription glasses frame has had screws broken off or lost 4 xs. Took them back to Maple Grove and we were told to call Ray Ban and order new screws ourselves. Even talked to the General Manager in hopes to get help, no luck. Why wont they stand behind the product they suggest and sell? Extremely rude customer service. After many years, we will never purchase from this company again. Enough is enough.

This doctor didnt have a sample pair of contacts in when I went to get my lens fitted. They charged me and sent me home with my prescription- which turned out to be incorrect. As I contacted them and requested to have my sample contacts ordered so I could test them before wasting money on a whole box, I noticed that the prescription on the sample didnt match the prescription on the page I was given by Dr. Brose. Needless to say, it is unlikely I will be going back. This was after waiting 3 weeks to get the sample pair.
