Had such a good experience here from the moment I walked in, I was helped right away. The guy helping me was fantastic! We picked out two frames together and to be honest, he really picked them out! We even laughed the whole time. Super helpful, wasn’t rushed at all, there’s a great selection. When I picked my glasses up, that guy was great too. Overall just great help from these people. Much better than the other place I went to first, where they didn’t want to help me at all. .

Sporting my new polarized prescription sunglasses today! I love them! Unlike many frames, these are designed for people with small bridges. They fit my tiny nose perfectly and don’t rub on my cheeks like other frames do. I would never have known about this feature without the help of the folks at Pearle Vision Maple Grove. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

I chose this location after reading positive reviews only to walk out disappointed. Upon entering the store I was not greeted with good customer service from retail staff. The atmosphere was very unwelcoming. There were staff talking amongst each other who could’ve assisted me but did not. Finally after being sat with someone I felt very rushed throughout the process of choosing a pair of glasses. I was given a negative attitude and a display of unpleasant body language.Update: I was assisted by Kit who provided great customer service in ensuring my experience was great when picking up glasses. I was greeted by another staff member (didn’t catch her name) who provided immediate welcome and assistance upon entrance. Positive welcoming environment in comparison to previous experience.

I was so happy with the great customer service I received! I was greeted promptly, and I appreciated the Covid precautions that the store has in place for check-in and for trying on frames. Julia quickly found a frame she thought would work for me when I described what I had in mind. I looked at a few others, but I went with the one she selected because it was spot-on. My new, stylish pair of glasses with high-quality lenses were ready in the time frame promised, and it was easy and quick to pick them up. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. I went in there after I lost my glasses, but with a short window of time for replacing them. They went out of their way to put a rush on my replacement glasses and I had them in less than 24 hours-- which is not always possible, I lucked out. Wonderful individualistic staff and very personable. I will not be going anywhere else for glasses now.

I went in for an updated prescription. Was pressured into & Ended up paying for an eye exam that wasn’t even required & just an extra one of their machines. They claim it detects possible eye diseases the regular exam doesn’t. They did not inform me prior to the exam that insurance does not cover it and pretended that I had nothing to lose and was just apart of my appointment. Wrong! Also, the doc was great however, he prescribed me a contact brand that was on the more expensive side. When I purchased it, per his high recommendation, it was scheduled to come within a week. I called the office to ask for extra trials while I wait for it since the doc told me I could. They denied me. Guess why? Because i did not order through them and they weren’t going to get rewarded/bonuses through that company.I spent one week without any contacts & with glasses that had an outdated prescription and was giving me headaches. Shame on you all for caring more about $$ than the eye health of your customers

I went in for my exam and location was really easy to find, they are very intentional about maintaining all health precautions given the current health environment. They were very easy to work with and had a lot of options. I did need to increase my prescription and I was informed by email and text that my order was ready in half the time they suggested it would take so that was a pleasant surprise. Pearle Vision in Maple Grove is well known for extremely great customer service. The owner is right there and more than willing to help. The opticians and sales personnel are excellent. This store is a great asset to Maple Grove!

I am so happy to have discovered this place and will return. They have excellent staff and a really great selection of glasses. After having a bad experience with another vision store, I decided to go somewhere else that day. By chance this Pearle Vision in Maple Grove was able to fit me in for an appointment the same day I called. When I arrived, the staff was professional and friendly and helpful. The doctor I saw was fantastic and Kit was amazing and walked me through all of my options and called me during the week to keep me up to date on the status of my glasses. Then when I went to pick up my glasses today the experience was just as awesome. There was a girl who greeted me promptly and the guy who helped me and adjusted my glasses and explained how to take care of my lens cloth was great because I’d been wondering if the cloths could be thrown in the washing machine and dryer. I can’t say enough about the outstanding customer service they all embody. Thank you. I will definitely return.

I was expecting to wait a bit since there were a couple of people in the store but I got completely skipped for a couple who came in much after me - even though I had an appointment. Went here to get new glasses back at the beginning of Covid-19 season and felt extremely safe. They were very cautious and attentive to every detail. They are also very welcoming and helpful.

Ive had good service and results in the past at this store, but today I was turned away for being 10 minutes late to my appointment. Its my fault I was late, not theirs, but I wish Id known about the zero-tolerance policy so I could have saved driving well out of my way to get there. I wish the receptionist could have been at least slightly sympathetic. Ill be looking for a more customer-friendly eye clinic.

I love coming to this location. I see Dr Knutson, and Ive had her do the infant eye screening on my son. Shes extremely professional. Ive been getting glasses since I was 3, so Ive been to many many eye doctors. I switched to this clinic after receiving poor medical advice from my last clinic. Highly recommend coming here also as they are a local small business!

I went in for a eye exam and had a great experience. But yall let me just say Nick W. Just topped it off. The experience with him was so great! His customer service skills were on point. I almost felt like I was at a spa or out with a girlfriend! Very easy to talk to and gave great tips on glasses. I would recommend requesting for him if possible. You wont regret!

I had 2 pairs of glasses where I needed new lenses for them. The cost of this service was close to $500.00. When I picked up my sunglasses, I asked the worker if I could get a case for my glasses. She informed me that the cases were only for customers that purchased frames. She brought out a case that was so bad that my sunglasses would not even fit into the case. I guess I will not be doing business with them in the future.

Over all experience was really great.I had questions regarding my exam and the doctor came right out to answer them. I called ahead to get a prescription sent from the Maple Grove provision store to the Brooklyn center store I called the Brooklyn center store to get a fax number and everything for them and called the Maple Grove store back and gave them the fax number then I called back an hour later they said they faxed the information over so today I go to get my glasses only to find out the Brooklyn center store never got the fax so I called the Maple Grove store to see what happened they forgot that I even requested that and lied and said theyve been having trouble with a fax machine and never sent the fax and was rude on top of that in a nice way

I have been going to the Maple Grove Pearle Vision for over 20 yrs. I will not go back again. The quality of service by the eye care staff has been very poor the last several visits.

That treat you badly based on what type of insurance that you and how you look

Year after year we still love Pearle Vision...we make it a road trip from Lakeville to Maple Grove. We rely on Julia’s ability to find us our perfect frames...And we appreciate all the staff and their great customer service.

I purchased a pair of $450 frames which I tried on and chose while wearing a mask at the store. After I received them and tried them on at home, I did not like the way they looked without the mask. I asked to exchange them as part of the 30 day satisfaction guarantee. I only found frames that were half the amount of the frames I purchased, so I asked if I could get 2 that total the amount of the frames I purchased if I paid full price for the 2nd set of lenses. I was told no, so my only choice is to keep a pair if glasses I dont like, or get a pair that I like better but lose out on a couple hundred dollars.Other than that, the staff were all great to work with and I received my glasses and contacts pretty quickly. If it wasnt for the issue with the frames I would probably have given them a 5.

As an over the hill lady I found this place Pearle Vision to be the best eye exam I ever had. I dont know why I didnt follow my gut 3 months ago and stop here. From start to finish - I felt like I got a red carpet customer service experience. Erin was a rockstar.....when I asked if she would push my fashion envelope - she got excited and totally delivered. She walked us through the process of purchasing quickly and efficiently. Encouraged me to stop back for lense cleaner (I love that stuff!)My glasses were ready for pick up in less than 3 hours - walked in and had a bright light receptionist (I am so sorry I didnt catch your name) greet me and get me back to trying on my new glasses. I made a poor judgement call and didnt allow enough time to get fitted. No problem. She hooked up and got me out of the door so I could get on to the next thing.Glad I came to my senses and chose this establishment.

Pearl Vision, Maple Grove, has been my eye doctor for 30 years. They are the best! I experienced a major eye issue in November of 2019, I called and they wanted to see me as soon as I could get there. Dr. Knutson was wonderful. She ordered tests and followed up with me while I was still there. Dr. Knutson has been a steady force in my life since dealing with my eye issues. I highly recommend her as your eye doctor.Julia is a master at finding the right glasses for you and shes really fun to work with. I worked with Nick for my glasses fitting and he was great! Hes knowledgeable and fun.

There is a striking inability to listen to concerns by both the manager and the front end staff. I was given incorrect information which I verified with my insurance plan. I took my prescription to Park Nicollet who not only LISTENED to the reason for my call;verified the true protocal and what was covered, but was able to both get my replacement prescription billed and lenses ordered, same day! Wont ever waste time at a pearl vision.

I was able to be seen quickly and all the people were really nice. The whole process went smoothly and I was able to pick out frames with no problem.

I have been going here for years. The have serviced my 3 daughters and I for as long as I can remember. Sure it is nice that they know my name when I walk in, but the service has been A+++++ since day one! I have worn some sort of prescription since I was 10, and these wonderful ladies and gents have given my family and I the absolute BEST CARE of any place I have ever been to. We actually have moved away from Maple Grove, but still drive back to this location due to the people we love working with. I had a great experience at Pearle Vision in MG. I happen to know the owner and so I traveled from St. Louis Park to MG. I was so happy that Jim and Kit helped me find a great pair of glasses that looked good on me. A really cute style. Now that I have my progressives they are so much better than my previous pair that were $400 more than these. Also the pair I had before looked funny on me. New pair are easy to wear every day and all night too. I brought my mom to MG to get a new pair and she was so pleased she got two new pairs and a pair of sunglasses. She worked with Julie and what a charm. Julie is fun, knows style and is knowledgeable. She made it easy for me and my mom. Overall lots of choices and styles of glasses! It is worth driving out to MG to see them. You wont be sorry. 5 star customer service and everyone is friendly and patient. And if you refer you get a little gift card. They appreciate you and your business.

Next time I will do the drops for dilation because the technician failed to get good pictures of my eyes for the doctor to see. I liked my doctor and I will see him again.

The optician said to try the progressive lenses, with a total out of pocket of $400.56. I decided to go with the readers, don’t even think you’ll get a refund for the difference! Their guarantee is intentional ally misleading and deceptive. I got the single vision lenses and paid for the progressive lenses. What a fantastic scam! Go anywhere but Pearle. Don’t forget to check your bill for the $34.95 Eyewear Protection Plan, that was slipped into my bill stealthily by the optician. Didn’t ask for it and wasn’t told about it. I would avoid this business. Dishonest.

My wife and I went to Pearle Vision for long overdue eye exams. The staff was very accommodating and demonstrated great customer service. Kit went above and beyond in educating us on our eyewear. He was very friendly, authentic and professional in helping us make the right selections.

What a kind and understanding place! My son was a little anxious, not sure what was going to happen, and everyone spoke kindly and took their time to explain things to him. He felt so comfortable! There was a great selection of frames. The exam was quick and professional. It took less than an hour in total, great for a young teen who wants to be outside.

The initial optometrist I saw the prior year was very skilled and for the very first time ever, I got a prescription that actually worked. On this exam, with this examiner she sounded knowledable, however nothing I viewed on the visual exam was clear enough for me to feel comfortable to pay out of pocket for a pair of glasses. My vision is just too important and accuracy of of visual exam is imperative in avoiding further damage and a big waste of money. Bring my other guy back!

We had our 4 year old here for his first eye exam and subsequent pair of glasses. The Doctor and staff were all fantastic. They also filled a new prescription for me while we were there and did a great job. They all remembered us when we came back a week later to pick those glasses up. Great experience and we will be back.

Dr Korthals is not very informative during the exam, and billed me as medical exam when should’ve been routine exam. Won’t be back. Sad, this place used to be great, been declining the past three or so years.Edit to add: One of the employees broke my sunglasses while I was there. They sent them away for repairs, but they’re not the same since.Edit 2: Owner lied in his response. Just booked an appointment for Oct 5, and was not informed anything about a medical exam. You can cancel the appointment for Darrell Spencer on Oct 5, its fake.

She thoroughly answered my questions based on this being my first time ever at vision exam, this was for my daughter.The general staff was very friendly and patiently worked through an insurance confirmation issue we had and offered great advice on frames and contact suggestions for sports based on personal experience.I didnt expect this level of personal service from a chain, but they went above and beyond my high customer service expectations I bring to b any business.

I’ve been going to this Pearle Vision for the last 6 years and I have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and they make the process of selecting glasses easy as pie! A special shoutout to Brianna, she was the absolute best (plus I got to join the cool classes club😉). I found a pair of glasses I liked but they were unfortunately outside my price range and Brianna immediately helped me find a pair that were almost identical but much cheaper. I appreciated her finding me the cheaper option, it showed that she truly wanted me to find a pair of glasses I was happy with and could afford. Brianna if you read this, just know that you rock! But the rest of the Pearle Vision team is just as lovely!

I recently went in to the Maple Grove Pearle Vision for the third set of glasses I have bought from them. I also got my exam with one of the Optometrists. I received top flight service from start to finish! In fact, when I mentioned that I wanted my glasses (progressives) for an upcoming trip, they helped me to switch up a couple things with my order to increase the chances I would have them in time. And I got them in plenty of time for my trip. I’ve always had good luck, but I think they are getting better over time. Five stars!!

I really like this Pearle Vision. I never feel rushed, all of my questions are answered, and I always leave as a happy customer.The folks who work here are all very friendly and it’s a pleasant environment.Most importantly, I leave with a nice looking pair of glasses that fit comfortably. Other places I’ve gone have sent me out the door with lenses that weren’t finished correctly, hurt my face, or otherwise weren’t adjusted properly. I don’t know what the differences are, but this Pearle Vision always sends me out the door with a good fit and good vision.For my money, I don’t like to go anywhere else.

Make sure to get your pupillary distance number when you buy glasses here in case you for some reason ( like a toddler breaking your glasses over and over) need to get an extra pair for really cheap online. They will charge you $25 to get that number if you ask later. I have been a customer for 25 years. Customer loyalty yes, provider loyalty only when they are making money off me.

I was very disappointed with the service and product I received at Maple Grove Pearl Vision. I picked up my new glasses on 2/2/2020 I noticed the tinting was much lighter than the previous pair I purchased there a year ago. I explained my situation to him and that I would like to do the same lenses and tint I did last time. When I picked up the glasses on 2/22/20 right away I noticed the tint was lighter than my previous pair. I thought I would give them a try and see if they would work. I could only wear the glasses a couple hours at a time because the light began hurting my eyes. Due to medical issues I need to have tinted lenses with anti-glare coating. When I brought the glasses in yesterday, I was told if I wanted the lenses darker, I would have to not get the antiglare. I explained that was not an option and the response I got was that was the only way I could get them darker.I showed them the difference in tint between my previous pair and the new pair. Again, I explained that at the time of purchase I told the consultant I needed the same type of lenses. I was then told that I did not order the same lenses as last time. I told her they should have been as that was specifically what I told the gentleman during the purchase. At that point she decided to look up my order in the system. She explained that he did order the same type of lenses, but they changed labs since my last purchase and that was why they were different. How am I supposed to have known they changed labs? Why did they not bring this up at the time in purchase?In addition, when I made the comment I should have gone back to where I previously purchase my eye wear i was told It would be the same no matter where I went. While this is partially true, there are steps they could have taken to prevent this issue. They could have called the lab before placing the order to discuss the situation and what was needed. They could have sent a picture of my current lenses with a white background so the lab could try to match the tint. They could have sent in a sample tint lens for the lab to use as a guide. I now have a pair of glasses that I can’t wear and will probably have to purchase new lenses from a different company. I have lived with this condition for over 20 years and never ran into a situation where they would not send the lenses back to lab.It’s disappointing when you rely on them to be the expert and all they seem to care about is your money. I would think twice before purchasing eye wear here if you have any special needs or RX. Make sure you shop around and that the person you are working with is a licensed optician.

I picked up new glasses on Monday and there must have been a flaw in the frame because they suddenly broke on Saturday and one lens fell out. I walked in to get them fixed and walked out with new frames in about 10 minutes. That’s the kind of customer service that keeps me going back there.

I would like to thank Ashley for all her great customer service. I have been using this Maple Grove location and Ashley has always been cordial, made great suggestions and just the other day after someone else told me I needed to buy new glasses after mine broke she looked into it and found my glasses could be replaced on my plan for free. 6/27 went in a little bit nervous because I had my three little ones with me I didn’t know how I was going to attend to them && receive my eye exam. But by Gods Grace Brittany who did my eye exam was not phased at all by the children she even let them watch her as she took pictures of my eyes (the kids loved it 🤗). I left out feeling better than when I first walked in. There was no wait time, when I first walked through the door my son had to go potty immediately after walking from the restroom doors I was greeted by Brittany for my appointment. This was my first time here && definitely wont be my last, I have to say what topped it off was that not even 2 hours after I left I received a message telling me my glasses was ready to be picked up......great job you guys

I had an eye exam by Dr Khan and Jessica helped me choose new frames and lenses. They were both great! Very kind and helpful. Choosing eyewear is pretty personal, and can be tricky with progressive lenses. Jessica was very gracious with her help, and also a lot of fun. She understood my concerns, and offered suggestions from her knowledge of their frame selection, including a special order color. I had a wonderful experience at Pearle Vision. The staff was friendly, the appointment was on schedule, and the doctor explained everything as he went through the exam. When it was time to pick out frames, Jessica was very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. She knew the perfect frames for me, and I knew I could trust her opinion. Best eyeglass retailer I have ever done business with and there have been many in my past... Superior customer service, huge selection, with a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I have been with them for 18 years now and so have my kids. They know the latest styles, what will look best on you and take whatever time is necessary until you are satisfied with the product, fit and price! The thing that sets them apart for me is when I have an emergency, like sitting on my frames and bending them in half! Yikes... So, I go there and they get right on it, take whatever time and resources are necessary and I walk out of Pearle with my glasses fixed, adjusted and never a charge! :) These folks are awesome and you should check this place out... :-)

Amazing service!!Just took my mom to Pearle Vision in Maple Gove and got such amazing service from Julia! My sweet mom has Alzheimers so picking out glasses and getting fitted could pose a possible challenge.Julia knows her stuff and was able to get the style of frame we needed and had a great eye for the color that would look good on my mom. With all of Julias knowledge and experience she gave three great choices and sure enough one particular frame was just perfect!Julia was able to advise us on the right lenses since my mom doesnt drive or read and in turn saved us some money on the perks we really didnt need. We were in and out of the store in about 20 minutes.Thank you, Julia for making this experience not only easy for my mom but also fun!Highly recommend this store!

My husband and I have been a customer of the Maple Grove Pearle Vision for many years now. We have always been pleased with their service and product. Recently, they referred my husband for cataract surgery and are providing the follow-up care. I do recommend them based on their quality and professionalism.

Great service. Kit provided great customer cover. He went above and beyond to help me get glasses I needed — same day service. He’s a keeper!

Unfortunately I have found the staff at this Maple Grove location to be very rude. I recently called to get my prescription, and was told (for the first time) that I had a balance due and they would not give me my prescription. I get that! However when I started asking questions to try and figure out insurance not covering my visit, the girl on the phone was VERY rude and basically hung up on me when I was mid sentence! I would have liked some answers to help solve this issue, but apparently she was too busy for some simple customer service. Will not ever go back to Pearl Vision.

A great place to get new glasses from due to the selection. I got a lot of help from Jessica. She made getting new glasses a fun experience. I ended up buying three new glasses as a result of her great customer service skills and thoroughness. I will most likely come back to get a 4th pair 👍🏽

I called to make an appointment for an exam so I could get a new prescription. I was given an entire medical eye exam and was charged 4 times what any other optical company has ever charged me. I feel I should have been told I was being given more than I asked for. I think I know why the exam price was not displayed as in other stores. My insurance covered what most places charge for this service. The rest was up to me.

Called in at 12:27pm on 5.19.19 to book an exam for 2:50pm same day. Provided all personal information and insurance information over the phone....was told youre all set for appointment!Go in for appointment to be told a drivers license is required. I wasnt driving today and didnt have it on me. Would have been prudent to hav6been told in advance. No sorry from front counter person.Not going back.

Knowledgeable and personable staff that will always go out of their way to help. We take our whole family there; ages 3, 5 and adult. Best place in Maple Grove!!! We will be back.Thank you Julia and Jessica for taking care of us on our last visit; you are the best!

Completely unhappy with the quality of service. Have been using Pearl for many years. Seems to have changed hands and does not seem to put the customer first.Pearl called me after they saw my bad review. I went back and explained what my experience was and found that the extremely rude and unprofessional employee no longer works there.We were helped by Julia, who was great! Also, the manager Brianna(?) was very professional and concerned. That is the reason for the great rating.

Pearle Vision Maple Grove is great. I recently had an eye exam and contact fitting to renew my RX and the doctor was great (Dr. Rowe). She was friendly and explained the changes in contact lens tech since my last RX and set me off with a trial pair of new more breathable contacts. No high pressure sales to buy the contact from the right then and there and all the staff was helpful.
