I had an above and beyond customer service experience at the North St. Paul location. Jessica was very helpful as a first time owner of an Ignition interlock system!
Holy Smokes this went easier than I thought. I was dreading having this done, but when I finally went through with is the process was easier cheaper and quicker than I had imagined.
I faxed in a form for reduced fee pricing over a week ago with no change on my bill yet so I called yesterday and they said they just got it yesterday and that I also need to send in an insurance declaration page before they will give me the reduced price which nobody told me to do in the 3 phone calls I had with them about setting up the reduced fee (also it doesnt matter if insurance does or doesnt cover the cost of the unit to get reduced pricing but they wont give you the reduced rate until you send this though) Had my insurance fax the declaration page same day but it is so hard to get a person on the phone. Ive probably called them 20 times in the last 2 weeks and gotten a person 4 times and their voicemail just gives you peoples names with no explanation of who they are or what they do. I Was basically told to just pay the $130 this month and hope its fixed next month, the state of MN approved me for a reduced fee for a reason. I had everything I was told to have in complete and in time and still have to pay full price. How can they even charge more if the state is ordering it? I was with intoxalock for years and switched to smart start hoping for something better but already seeing red flags. Hoping they will make this right as I have years to do on interlock and have yet to find a good provider.
