Been to this business several times with different situations.Always solved computer problems weve had. Will continue totake computers to them when we need computer work.

Ordered a new SSD and it didnt come with the small screw so I took it here and got the screw and SSD installed for free and a small packet of thermal paste. Employee was quick, professional and courteous. Would highly recommend. Left the guy a tip and got to pet that sweet old doggie that was there.

I am only rating 3 stars because it took almost 3 weeks to get my computer diagnosed. When we dropped it off, we were told 2, but it took another week just to have it looked at. It did get fixed the day it was diagnosed and for a reasonable price. I hope for faster service next time.

Getting my computer repaired here was a pretty terrible experience. This past December i noticed that the fans in my laptop were making a rattling noise and needed replaced. Instead of taking it to Microcenter like I have before, I took it here since I was in town for Christmas and figured I would get a faster repair in a private business since it was the holidays. The man running the front desk (the owner of the business I believe) diagnosed the problem and had me pay for the service and fans needed to be replaced. I left the laptop with him and after that the problems began.The following weekend I had to call the store multiple times as that was when the repair should have been done. Throughout this entire experience I had terrible communication from him. It was so bad that he wouldnt answer my phone via text or call even though I tried to only call once every couple days to get an update to avoid being annoying.Regardless, I got ahold of him the following weekend of taking it in and he told me he had accidentally broken a wire connecting to the internal battery or something like that. Whatever it was exactly, he told me he needed to replace the whole laptop. I was upset but gave him the benefit of the doubt.Eventually he told me he had the new laptop, but the day I picked it up I asked if it was new or refurbished as he never specified what he was getting other than the same model (he didnt respond to my text about whether it was used or not) and suprise, it was refurbished. At this point I was just tired of interacting with this business so I accepted what he ordered, hoping this would just all be over. Unfortunately he never gave me the fans I BOUGHT and didnt refund me for them either. At least he replaced the laptop he broke for free, which is the least he could do considering he broke the last one. It doesnt stop there though. After a week or so a started hearing the same noises coming from my refurbished laptop that he bought from Ebay.Im very disappointed from this whole ordeal. A friend of mine even said I could trust this business. I highly suggest anyone that needs a computer repair in Marion or anywhere near Marion just go to Microcenter in Columbus or something. They at least never ripped me off .

The guys are very knowledgeable, however they are very overpriced for simple things like transferring files off phones. Definitely dont recommend for simple fixes.

Tech Shop guys are on their game for sure. Very knowledgeable, do timely work at reasonable rates and are extremely trusting. They do all our office computers w/o any worries of them accessing sensitive client information.

Fast and good value for service

We took our phone there to be fixed and they seemed very nice. They said our phone would be fixed the next day. We then received a phone call stating they did not realize that there was an extra charge to get a screen overnight on a Friday and asked if we really needed the phone on Saturday. We said yes we did. We call Saturday and they said for some reason the order was canceled and the phone would not be fixed now till Monday. So we said ok. We get a call Monday stating that the phone screen was canceled again this time by the seller and they would be able to get the phone fix by Tuesday. We finally got the phone back Tuesday at 6 pm. They have us a 10 percent discount as the guy stated that it was one day late when really the phone was 3 days late. The phone works fine now but I would not return my wife wanted me to shop local but I could of took the phone to Polaris and had it fixed within 2 hours.

I have always had good experiences with The Tech Shop. They have always solved any of my computer problems and restored it to proper working order.

This shop does AWESOME work, I would recommend them to anyone that would want an Excellent gaming system. My son received a gaming system for Christmas that ROB built and sent to our home. My son and I were totally impressed with all the work and hard effort that went into the tower, not to mention the graphics, the lights, the gigabytes, memory, and endless professional work it took to make sure that my son will not need to UPGRADE for quite some time. Recently I purchased a replacement screen from The Tech Shop for my IPhone 7+. I paid approximately $90.00 for the screen thinking it would be worth the money to have a fixed phone. Sadly, the screen that was given to me was cheap, and extremely unreliable. Immediately I noticed that the screen was not the same quality, color wise, as my original; I was willing to overlook this. I then took notice to the fact that the new screen didnt turn off while I was talking on the phone, doesnt seem like a big deal right? Wrong. Its extremely annoying to have your cheek pushing buttons, dialing calls, and muting your phone conversation! My last, and most infuriating problem I have with the cheap screen I received was that it cracked when I set my phone down. I did not drop it, did not slam it, didnt even roughly place it. I set it down, and this was less than 48 hours after replacement! Its been about a week now, my phone continues to crack with even a touch. I would not recommend the Tech Shop services to my worst enemy. I cant believe the cheap screen they sold me, and how they refuse to fix their poor work.

Weve been having Rob and his crew do our computer tech work now for a couple of years. Weve replaced a couple of units and had others upgraded as well as having them do monitoring and support for our 8 computer network. They do great work, timely and for the right price. Cant say enough good about their service.Have to add that we have had Rob add cameras at the horse rescue....not a easy thing to do. It is working with two cameras in our foaling stall and able to be viewed by phone and by both of our on site caretakers. It will need work later, but it is a great start. Rob did really good work on this one! Cant say enough good about their work. He spent a lot of time on this project and really didnt ask for much in return. Rob and his crew do such great work. We will be getting DSL lines in the near future from Sycamore Telephone and the plan would be for them to upgrade the switches and wireless for the entire shelter and clinic. I wouldnt think of having anyone else do this job.Dave

Service we received was outstanding. We needed a network overall with router diagnostics and install. They came within 1 day and had the issue fixed within about an hour. We would highly recommend them to anyone! Thank you for a job very well done.

My computer was hacked/scammed to an unbelievable extent by a foreign group last fall. Once I realized it, I shut my computer down, cancelled credit cards and changed all my passwords as advised by the Tech Shop folks. I dropped my computer off to them for two days. They wiped my computer, reinstalled my software and hardware, and sold me an exterior portable storage device all for a very reasonable price. They notified me when it was ready for pickup. The service was quick, thorough and quite friendly. I would recommend them to anyone.

The guys at the Tech Shop did a good job fixing my computer, though when I called to check on it they told me it wouldnt boot up (which was not a problem when I took it in). I had thought about having them run a diagnostic on my computer since I was having to reboot it frequently and wasnt sure why. However, I chose not to have them run the diagnostic, and paid for a keyboard replacement and a power cord in advance when dropping my computer off. when I called to check on it, they said it wasnt booting up, which was a concern since it was booting up fine when I dropped it off. The man I spoke with on the phone sounded almost put off or offended when I asked if I was going to be charged for them fixing that, but he recovered quickly and told me I would not be charged. I was later informed that the lack of booting up was probably the result of a loose ram stick, and have noticed that I have not had to reboot (yet) either since getting my computer back. All in all, I would definitely use the Tech Shop again, and found the dogs they have in their shop cute and endearing, and Im sure they got a kick out of me coming in with a cockatoo on my shoulder.

They were through and explained what was wrong as well as the solution in terms I could understand.

A few years ago they fixed my grandfather pc and messed up the hard drive and then charged us to fix it. Then out of desperation I called today for a dvi cable because no one in town had one they said they have one but its used when I get there he tried changing me full price for a used one
