I have used nerds to go in Mathews before and both times I have had excellent results. They are professional, courteous and up to date with technology. Their rates are reasonable and I believe less expensive than most computer fix-ti companies. The fixed my email hack problem in 30 minutes and provided me with much needed information on how to avoid these types of problems in the future. I will use them again if I need to.

I had a great experience with this company. It was the first time I had used them after another company had botched up my laptop. When I called, Stephanie was very nice on the phone and helpful and set up an appt with Dave. Paul, I trust your company as you run the most honest PC repair shop that Ive dealt with in the Charlotte area The only feedback or recommendations that I can provide is to let your customers know upfront if you are short handed or running behind for the week in question. I left my PC off on a Monday to what I considered to be a simple fix, it took until Friday for it to be looked at by a Technician. I just happened to be in the area of your shop on that Friday and stopped in to see what the status was. Luckily, the Tech was working on it at the time and quickly resolved the issue. Maybe just a call to customers with a status update if possible after the PC or device has been in your shop for a couple of days. I wasnt told upfront that it would take a week to get to my unit as I could have the choice to make other arrangements on getting it fixed.

NerdsToGo are very responsive and very honest. I had a great experience when they fixed my laptop. They explained everything to me they fixed and charged a very fair rate. Having issues with our WiFi for several weeks and our ISP was not able to resolve our problems. Called Neerds2Go and they were able to send someone out the next day. Dave listened to our challenges and understood what needed to be done, we talked about various solutions and he had the equipment with him and installed and configured everything right away. I needed to clone an old unresponsive tablet to a new one and was unable to use the typical apps to do so. My carrier also was unable/unwilling to help even though it was their original tablet as well as the new one would have been. Bringing to Nerds was a last resort. They were able to transfer all apps (especially a music app with 500+ score sheets). Kudos to Tony, Noah & Dave.

I had a great experience with NerdsToGo. They ordered my screen and it came within 2 weeks. We scheduled a time to drop my laptop (Touchscreen HP Notebook) off and I was told it’ll take about 2 hours. I got a call within 20 minutes letting me know my screen was fixed and ready to go. Everything was perfect, screen was fixed and bright, my touchscreen still worked great. Everything is still working perfectly now, if I ever need another screen fixed I’ll be going to NerdsToGo.

A couple months ago my wifes macbook was no longer turning on, and she suggested trying NerdsToGo who had a location just down the street from our neighborhood. Considering the current economic environment, my wife and I discussed the positives of giving a local company/franchise this task. NerdsToGo saved me a huge amount of work and angst by recovering data from a crashed hard drive. The techies at the usual big box store couldnt do it, so I took my tower to the Nerds as a last resort. While I was in the store, Noah removed the drive and plugged it into their device to find that they could transfer the accumulated data onto an SSD that I could then plug into my new computer. He called me early the next day to say that everything transferred overnight and it was good to go. As far as I can tell all the documents, spreadsheets and photos are on the new drive. They are responsive and professional. if theyre not in the office they return calls promptly,, and either have a technician assist by phone or come to our location, depending on the circumstances. I need to call out exemplary support received from Nerds To Go (located at 3521Mathews Mint Hill Rd., Mathews, NC). Essentially my desktop computer had fallen victim to radically intermittent electronic failures causing the machine to reboot. There were no warnings of any technical issues, only unpredictable hard failures/ reboots. The machine was nearly useless. Fundamentally, this condition can be caused by any of the electronic components (from memory to the power supply, etc.). Throughout the diagnosis process, my machine was afflicted with multiple suspect/ problematic components. In response to this situation, a number of these components were replaced. As one can imagine, I was a regular customer at Nerds To Go in pursuit of a permanent solution.Throughout this service cycle, I received ongoing support from a technician there, Noah Bolick, who ultimately rendered the solution to the comples problem. I cannot say enough about the technical expertise/ knowledge Noah possesses. Throughout the process, he always took the time to communicate with me on his findings and recommendations. And further, I have to say he had the ‘patients of a saint’ to educate me on what was going on and why he put forth the recommendations that he did. Accompanied by the education he gave me along with my internet research, he ultimately led the way to a solution for my situation. I simply cannot thank him enough for all that he did – He is a technical expert, a customer teacher, and a gentleman throughout. Further, I also have to call out the support he (and I) had from the franchise owner, Mr. Paul Blanchette. All said and done, I compliment this Nerds To Go establishment for the commitment this owner/staff (in particular, Noah) in getting me to the needed solution.
