Came in to get a ASAP fax over to a Insurance Company and was blown away by the customer service of the print staff. Also, grateful for having my store purchasing card on hand because at 7 dollars to fax for papers I was about to walk out and go across the street to the Comfort Inn and use the business center. Overall happy with my purchase and would drop by again.

Aaron was very helpful in answering questions about the sit/stand desk we were interested in. This store has a good selection of office furniture.

Instead og me going through the hassle of doing an order for pickup while I was already there and is was alerting close to closing time Jenny used her coupon for my item. YOU WONT BELIEVE THIS!! I went to this Office Depot because I was doing an important meeting with a client and the local Office Depot printed the wrong copies. I asked for help and was willing to pay for it, asking for no consideration on the part of the other store that screwed up. The woman at the counter was short, and her body language screamed I DONT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR PROBLEM! I asked for 20 sets of 20 pages, not bound - she said she was busy on other orders and didnt have time to help me. I said, Can I use the self service? She said - both machines are broke down. I spoke with manager who was much the same as she was. While talking to them, a young man walked up and asked how to get copies. They quickly took care of him while I was standing there! SO.. this is the funny part. I said, what is your return policy on printers? They said 14 days. So I said, If I buy a printer now and use it to make my own copies, can I return it tomorrow? They said, sure! I bought a color laser printer, took it to my hotel room, printed the copies I needed and returned it the following day. How stupid is that? The time they took arguing with me far surpassed the time it would have taken to make my copies. Its no wonder Office Depot is having problems. Awful business to deal with!

Kristen in the Copy/Print center provided a terrible customer service experience.I was in Charlotte on business, visiting my companys local office. I work in the marketing department of an engineering firm. It is my job to produce proposals, and the Charlotte office does not have in-house printing capabilities, so my boss told me to just go to the nearby Office Depot.I walked in and waited at the counter. I informed Kristen I needed 7 copies of my proposal printed and would need to overnight it to its final location. She asked if it was something that could be picked up later and I told her no. She didnt like that answer and proceeded to tell me it would take awhile. I asked her how long and she said around 30-40 minutes and I said that was fine, I would wait. She was very huffy with me as she delegated the printing to a different employee, whose name I believe was Julie. Julie was very professional and pleasant.Julie printed the documents. I had supplied covers and tabs, so I put them in the correct place and then Julie bound the documents. The entire time this was going on, Kristen was very obviously complaining about me to anyone who would listen. She kept looking in my direction, pointing, rolling her eyes and huffing.When it came time to overnight the document, Kristen came back over to process that part of the order. I informed her that I would be taking my business to UPS since I was clearly such an inconvenience. Her coworker Julie apologized profusely despite her having done nothing wrong. Kristen said nothing and just walked away.There was a UPS around the corner who was very pleasant to deal with and informed me that they had printing capabilities as well. That Office Depot location did not lose just one customer that day, but they lost the business of an entire office.

Fantastic store with fantastic employees. Management is always nice and willing to help. The print department is quick and easy. Also their tech team is on point!

Try to be relatable and build a rapport. Standing awkwardly while your customer checks out will hardly endear them to you and create a return customer. I know retail isnt doing well but at least try and give me a good reason to come back...

I needed to buy a few things and print some things. I was greeted by the cashier but ignored by 4 employees as I walked the entire store twice as I looked for the things I couldn’t find. I left the store empty handed.

Typically I go in the section where you make copies & just pay over there because of what I’m getting done. But the women over there are always so rude! Horrible mannerisms & unprofessional. Especially the lady that I believe is over that section. I’ve even gone out of my way to be an example by over extending kindness & they’re still extremely rude. They seriously need to make some changes. All the people I know that have been to this location feels the same way or very similar. I’ve decided to just go to a different location. I’d give this rating a 0 if I could.

Office Depot in Matthews NC just became my go-to store for Copy services. Their photo paper seemed much thicker and more substantial than Staples. Great service.

The lady named Susan the consultant have rude behaviors. I just went there to print some invitation cards. I told her in a nice way Im here to print some invitation cards. And handed over my flash drive. And she keep removing my flash drive and putting back in & getting mad . What kind of consultants she is. Im a regular customer and other are always nice to me. This lady herself need a consultant from other seniors.

Susan in the printing center was a salty muffin from start to not even finished yet because I have to go back. I asked for a thick lamination in order to be able to use a set of student cards in my classroom all year. When I returned to the counter for pick up - she said that she had run them through three times, but they hadnt sealed properly so - I would have to cut them (or have them cut them for .39 a cut) and then they would run them through one at a time and I could come back in a few hours because they had other jobs to do. I questioned why this wouldnt have been explained when I dropped off the items to be laminated and she just went and got the manager and then flat out lied in front of him saying she told me ahead of time and I was just upset about it. No, Susan, you didnt - if you had - then you wouldnt have felt the need to explain when I returned for pick up that you had run them through three times and they still hadnt sealed so the next step would be to run them individually - I would have, instead, come back to the counter expecting to cut them so they could be run back through for the proper seal. Ultimately, Im not going to go back tonight because there is a pretty big storm and Susan can go home and deal with the part where she feels she has to lie over some lamination. Good Luck with that one, Office Depot - you may wanna scroll down and see the numerous complains about Susans saltiness.

Sucked. Any type of office furniture has to be assembled off site which is a charge. (Including metal file cabinets). Oh yeah did I mention that they do not have two of anything..

Rude rude rude. I stood at the printing station, in view of 4 employees who looked at me several times, before I was finally was finally acknowledged. Once I was, the lady who sort of helped me had an attitude like she would rather be anywhere else.

I would use the word bland to describe the customer service at the location.However, I can appreciate that the store is organized and checkout is speedy.

I wanted to know where to pay for printing and the employee tells me I have to pay her services charges for her to tell me. I find that asurd, do you pay people to tell you which aisle a certain product is? And just generally rather than being friendly, the employee seemed haughty.

Both Assist. Managers (Josh/Debbie) explained over phone how a promotional coupon can be used. I spent hours trying to arrange an order only to have the Manager Brandon overrule what his Assist. Mgrs told me.Very disappointed that the assist. mgrs arent aware of store policies and after they make a commitment to the customer, that a manager can overrule them.

Two girls that were working the shipping section at this location at 2:15 pm on 10/13/17 are bimbos to the next level. Rude customer service and turned down my packages because they assumed they were fragile after they were told none of the packages were and that they do not have to be labeled as fragile. Complete waste of my time. Thanks to these two airheads, wont be doing any more business at this location or at any office depot stores any longer. Will make sure none of my customers use office depot for any needs as well.

Second printing place Ive stopped at today and the staff here cant seem to figure out how to simply print a black and white pdf on a plotter. Where do they find these people? If your old people cant understand the technology they are supposed to be using, fire them and hire people that can use the equipment...

Well, it was bound to happen. When two competing companies, located across the street from each other, merge - the customer ends up suffering. Tried to go in Office DEPOT to find a cartridge only to be told its on our web site. Well, Office MAX always had it. ALWAYS. Now that they merged and closed the Office MAX, I am forced to go to Office DEPOT, which I never cared for to begin with. And this is basically the reason, stock/inventory.If I have to go online then I will get it from Amazon. Thank you.
