I recently ordered hardwood flooring from a DirectBuy supplier, but needed help with some flooring accessories that I could not see on the suppliers website. I had the pleasure working with Amanda to help me through a total renovation of my master bathroom. Her expertise was so helpful! I started with giving her the vision of what I wanted my bathroom to look like. Sent her pictures for inspiration and then had weekly meetings.Each week we focused on one element. The tub, then the vanity, faucets, light fixtures, etc.She worked very hard to find the right option to meet my taste.It was a great experience and I have already contacted her to start my next project!

We have had the pleasure of dealing with Tanya for the past 2 weeks to order some window blinds. She was professional, knowledgeable, and showed patience in getting all the details right. The only negative is no reflection on Tanya but working with the Direct Buy process of contacting Tanya is extremely frustrating. Every time we had to contact her we had to call Direct Buy, provide our membership number, email address, phone number and be hassled about other services they could provide before they would attempt to connect to her extension which was busy most of the time. Hello Direct Buy, get the girl some help!

Carla O has been very helpful. I have used the on line ordering process many times and never had a problem with it till I tried this time. I entered a ship to address and when I finalized the order the confirmation came back showing my Meridian address in stead. I was told the ship to address cant be changed and I had to cancel the order and start over. I have asked Carla O to process the order so I can be sure of the proper ship to address.
The service was very bad. First of all it took a very long time to get a response. In the qoutation the agent made a mistake and gave me wrong model, which I had to correct. Finally after getting the quotation I noticed she did not provide me with correct price. She charged me %20 more.Also the system of direct buy has a bug, which I mentioned it to them about 1 month ago. It send the quote as filename_pdf instead of filename.pdf . So can not open the file.Agent has asked me to review the service and mention her name, I think instead of giving the full name I put the initial.Agent initial is M GI think direct buy used to be a good club, but unfortunately the level of service goes down day by day. Especially with all the cuts they are doing recently and closing all the showrooms.

What a star employee you have in Barbara Campbell, concierge agent in Toronto. We had an urgent request to cancel a home improvement product that was 5 months on order with no arrival date in site to exchange it for a product in stock. The process with Direct Buy to get the paperwork done within a short time frame to meet our installers date was frustrating at first. Then Barbara took charge of our file and accomplished it all within hours. She kept us up to date every step of the way. We are so grateful to her for her top notch professionalism. You dont get that kind of customer service very often these days and Barbara excels at it.

Im very tired 11 year member of the CONSTANT hassle. I send a detailed request with an attachment (literally painted a picture) and still the concierge service cant comprehend what Im asking for. I truly hate complaining but honestly, this system stinks! We are forced to go through your design/concierge services but they cant even read a detailed email, that should have eliminated a hassle. You can see from the questions I was asked she didnt read the entire email. I have read this entire exchange to several people and everyone gets what Im requesting but the concierge service. This is our 2nd. big renovation using this service but Im honestly questioning the benefit of it. What a crock!!! Concierge is great when it works but this clearly isnt working.
Barbara was amazing as are all your service agents. I requested a flooring sample before purchasing a large order and within minutes my request was processed and the sample will be sent to my home! Thanks for continuing to employee agents who understand our needs and Direct Buy’s vendors!
High quality products at great prices. Shopping is easy. Unfortunately its not possible to see the products prior to purchase, and returns are not possible, but if you know what you want, this is usually the least expensive way to get it.
I prefer the old way of being able to visit the showroom whereby I could connect with the reps. My showroom was closed down. The nearest Showroom is further away from my home here in Wilmington, Delaware.
Amanda has been a pleasure to work with. We are doing almost a whole house remodel and Direct Buys selection can be overwelming! She is very knowledgeable on Direct Buys manufacturers, product lines and had great suggestions for me to check out!
They went beyond in service to achieve a discounted rate for me that was to expire.

The business lists many vendors but does not have access to all the vendors products. I have been waiting three months for delivery of ordered item. The business adds that the vendor may not approve a refund for cancelation; no problem, I will then go directly through my credit card company.

We really enjoy directbuy with the savingshowever we have had extreme issues with appliance delays from KitchenAid and other issues with getting the stuff we ordered since the pandemic.We realize that there are shipping delays but these items were ordered over a year ago. And still haven’t received some of our Merchandise. Since our house has been built now we’ve had to buy other things in replacement of. Very frustrating.we ordered these appliances etc for our new build in Edmonton Alberta and we couldn’t speak more highly of Michelle A she is Extremely helpful and knowledgeable, very quick to respond and to get to the bottom of things and help find solutions for us.But since then that location has been shut down.This made it extremely difficult to deal with different people all the time rather than the people that we ordered from who know us and the products that we ordered

Having been a member for over 15 years I was extremely disappointed with their customer service recently. Placed an order in Feb and was told to expect delivery in late April or May. A partial shipment did arrive in April, but for each month for the past 5 months I called to check the status of the rest of the order and am told to expect it in a month, over and over again. Finally, I had enough last week when the sofas to be delivered in April were now pushed to Oct, I canceled that order went to a local furniture store and paid about the same price for the same sofa to be delivered in a week. Unfortunately, my entertainment center which matches the partial shipment I received in April I am told now will not arrive until Jan 2022. Throughout this time they have held and continue to hold the full payment for all of these items. I suggested at a minimum they credit me for the year that my membership has been essentially useless. No response to that. Just really disappointed with how they treat a loyal long time customer.
I cannot believe how incredibly fast and professional Tanya with the Ottawa office is within 12 hours she had all my appliances priced and ordered. Her dedication, quick response time during these tough COVID 19 times where she has 100s of emails and still able to be so quick, efficient and just plain amazing to work with. Great service, Barbara Campbell went above and beyond to accommodate us with finding items for our home renovation project. We had numerous quotes and the prices were quite a bit better than retail even after delivery and any fees. The concierge service was also a great way to get help during the pandemic when many retailers were closed or had limited capacity / inventory.
If you have an infinite amount of patience and no timeline, deadlines or expectations for the completion of your project, then Direct Buy is for you! After you place your order, don’t even try to get shipping updates or tracking info...

I have been a member of Direct Buy for many years. In the past three months, their customer service has gone down the tubes. I dont get a response to emails. If I do get an answer, it says Ill have a response in 24 to 48 hours and I dont hear anything back. Today I sat on hold for 30 minutes and finally left a voicemail. No response.

Ive belonged to DirectBuy for 20 years. Ive purchased a lot at times a just few items at others. This past experience has been one of my worse ones yet. Im not being kept informed, Im not getting answers and my pricing has been inconsistent with very little help from the office. Well see how long it takes now to get what I ordered.
I have had good experience with the Direct Buy concierge on multiple occasions. The information was promptly provided, especially for the pricing of the model I was looking for and even got suggestions for closest alternatives. In one instance Barbara Campbell was very helpful in addressing a mistake made by the IT department towards crediting into my account.

I asked on November 24 for help with an order that was entered with the wrong shipping address less than 24 hours before. I was told they contacted the vendor and were waiting for a response. After asking DB to follow up twice, finally on Dec 3 I called the vendor myself and found out it shipped the day before. If I had been told to contact the vendor sooner or if Direct Buy would have picked up the phone to call them, my shipment could have gone to the right place with no hassle. Poor service, very disappointed.
