Quality produce section, neat & tidy aisles, and Bri who checked us out was very professional & personable. A+ shopping experience.

Its a good stop on the way home or if you live in the area and dont want to go the extra couple minutes to Meijer or Walmart. Otherwise, its just slightly more expensive so its not worth making it the place you get most of your groceries.

Terrible service; customer service and management will straight-up lie to you rather than do their job if you have any issues of even moderate difficulty. If they DO their job, its usually grudging.Not the newer younger people; theyre cool. The older crew and management are AWFUL.

They always have everything I need, at a good price, especially if you sign up for their card. The food in the deli is great too.

PROS: Pretty good selectionCONS: Potentially understaffedThe few times I have stopped at Family Fare (over the past few years, not just during COVID), I always find that there is usually only one lane open (maybe two lanes at 5:00 PM on a weeknight). While I have no problem using the self-checkouts when I have a handful of items as usually that is the fastest, when I have a basket of items or an item that requires store personnel to ring it up, I end up waiting in line usually fifteen minutes or more. In the time spent waiting in line, I could have driven to Meijer or Walmart instead and had a much bigger selection. If it wasnt for the convince of this being almost directly across from the hospital where I work, and my grandpa didnt have an obsession with the apple cider sold ONLY at this store, I would probably pass and hit up a different store.

Started coming here during the pandemic because they seemed to be less crowded. There can be times when they are busy but weve been able to avoid those times.Staff is usually friendly and helpful. Even when items werent available on one trip theyd be available they next.Good choices of brands and their store brand is pretty good for most items.

Ive never given Family Fare much thought. Ive always been loyal to Kroger or Walmart. However, after the flood, we moved into Midland, near Family Fare. I have to admit, I really like it. I like their set up, their choices of products are quite large and their staff are great. I now go to Family Fare quite often.

Feels WAY disorganized!! There is NOT a good flow to shopping there,at all!! Also seems dirty and old. I shopped there for years, when Family Fare first bought that location and it was great!! Compared to other area grocery stores (in a very competitive town) this one is behind the times!! I would rather shop the competition!! My local FF store is great!! Bright, organized, cheery, good flow and has great employees.

They sell moldy fruit and cheese! The organic apples, organic grapes, and organic cheese we’ve purchased here have been MOLDY! The same day we purchased these items!

Customer service woman was horrible. The lady was very rude and nasty for no reason. I’m sorry if she is having a horrible day but there is no need to take it out on the customers. I even seen her be very snappy and have a horrible attitude towards an elderly lady. Cashier number 68137 should not be working with the public. She has terrible customer service skills and obviously she is not a people person. She seems very overwhelmed with her job and takes it out on the people around her. Thanks for making my time in family fare not a good experience. I will take my money to Walmart or Meijer and enjoy my day and the time I spend shopping.

Family Fare is our local supermarket. Its a great market for quick trips. If you need one or two items, you can be in and out of the store in minutes, as long as you dont get distracted by the fascinating displays. The staff is friendly, and parking is adequate. Family Fare is a part of the community: they have participated in our countys middle school Reality Store events. I like to shop at merchants who support our schools!

Nice variety of food, but the staff was unwilling to rerun a good check (verified by bank) which their equipment gave a false refusal. Customer service 101, if a customer politely asks you to rerun a check that your computer rejected, run it again as a courtesy. They were quick to judge.

F.F. has always been a very welcoming store. Their aisles are not crowded and overrun as some big box stores. Their selection of meats, fresh breads and produce is highly acceptable and enjoyable.

Prices arent competitive and they do not keep more than on checkout open. It is never very busy in there and if your in a hurry its the place to go. Also, their floral department always has a good flowers.

They have bulk nuts, etc., Fresh Homemade artisan breads, deli meats, cheeses, special salads, rotisserie chicken, BBQ ribs, sandwiches, wraps, doughnuts, cakes, pies, many different take-out foods, cup of coffee or tea or water as you shop, plants, flower bouquets, many different types of wine, alcohol, fresh meat cases, variety of vegetables and fruit,always have sales, items to buy like they show on TV, gift items to buy, they give gas coupons for Speedway gas stations when you check out (.05 to .50 cents off per gallon up to 20 gallons). Just is more of a friendly feeling like on the order of a mom n pop kind of a store. Not small, but not big like Meijer.

Full grocery store with pretty good pricing, nice selection, clean and organized facility. If I want a quick in and out stop, this is probably my top pick. The staff is friendly and professional.

This place is the WORST in all of Midland. I have lived in Midland most of my life they have low educated employees most of them are old mean and just plain rude. They rarely have any really good deals that beat Kroger or Meijer or Jacks for that matter and each time Ive gone in which is rare, they never have ANYONE RUNNING REGISTERS but, I guess its because not many people shop there. Would definitely recommend another store.

Rude Customer Service, every time I come here something goes wrong. Over priced but convenient instead of running to Walmart or Meijer if your in a hurry, so you obviously pay for convience. My meat has been spoiled I purchased here, strawberries rotten but the ones on top obviously looked good and underneath rotten. Milk spoiled even though expire dates were all valid. Today I went to return two unopened bags of chips I bought to many for a party it was literally an hour after purchasing and unopened. The female manager working service desk said how now she had to throw them away, I never asked. And responded I’m sorry I didn’t know that she said nothing back. Anyways she was very rude and turned my mood completely upside down. So thanks.

I love this store its friendly I know all of the staff by sight, and they know me. Its friendly, you know where everything is. Its one of the few stores that actually has a directory on each of the shopping cart so you know what aisle to look for. I couldnt be happier.

The deli is appealing and lots of choices. I also like the buy 2 get 3 more free specials when offered in the grocery dept.

Nice cashiers, good selection (their clearance deals alone are worth the trip). A little pricy compared to other area stores but quick and convenient place for a small shopping trip. Also, the best bottle return area in the county.

The market itself nothing wrong with little dirty and unorganized.My issue is with the website. I was looking for a new beer which was coming out, their website said they had... had pictures and price was even on sale, come to find out the beer wasnt even released yet. Why not put on the website that the item is not available yet so I dont have drive out to the store to find out they dont have it yet?Still havent got the email that they have ready for pickup. Went to Eastmans Party Store 2 weeks ago and got it!Family Fares website is a waste of time!

Easy access

Its not a bad place but times is a expensive place to purchase groceries.They do supply you with serve yourself small or large coffee and for free.The store itself is usually clean and orderly..but the management and staff are not friendly and will ignore you if they have the chance to.If you use their self checkout they literally stand over you I mean stand next to you to make sure you rang everything up right. So much for self checkout.If have a Yes card you can save on grocery items. As said earlier not a bad store but I do but I also dont visit to often either.
