It really doesnt get any more perfect than this. I was in absolute AWE when I walked in. Theres just something peaceful and relaxing about the ambiance and atmosphere. It makes you want to get things done! I can see myself doing homework, work, chatting with friends, reading, or just sipping on one other many delicious blends. I can not recommend FRGMNT enough. It is absolutely perfect.

A somewhat hidden cafe that features multiple roasters and serves great coffee in a huge open space. This one is definitely worth a visit!

Fabulous coffee and the space here is fantastic! Lots of open space, great light, and lots of space to sit and work. Seats by themselves, seats by a fireplace. Its great!Also: dont forget the DONUTS

FRGMT has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in Minneapolis. The coffee is amazing and the baristas are friendly. And they’ve recently started selling Cardigan donuts - score! They rotate bean selections and they also offer a monthly coffee subscription. Always new options.The donuts are great. I personally loved the coffee cake donut. Old fashions are great as well. They have a very large selection, much bigger than I expected. I came in this week at 10:30 expecting them to be cleaned out but there were still plenty of choices. I may not be so lucky on a weekend.There is plenty of seating, although they tend to be busy. Great place to work if you can grab a spot early. Definitely try an oat milk latte or matcha!

First time trying this place out and we enjoyed their special blended drinks. They have cold brew with a few other flavors. One was cayenne and honey, the other sea salt and dates. The flavors were very subtle, likely because of natural vs artificial ingredients. Overall vibe is super millennial and chill. Employees were friendly and answered all our questions.

This is a must go to coffee shop when visiting Minneapolis! Every time I visit a coffee shop for the first time, I always order a double espresso. I tried their Costa Rican Single Origin and it had sweet acidic flavor. Whoever dialed it in, did it perfectly! It satisfied my taste buds. I then ordered their seasonal, a Rosemary Fig Latte with Oat Milk. Loved the subtle taste to it. The baristas were very nice. I loved how huge the space was. This is a wonderful place for social distancing. Overall, I did not regret my experience there and will be back again!

Wonderfully modern aesthetic and pretty clean. The ladies were very kind, especially after I forgot to ask for almond milk in my mocha instead of dairy and they had to remake it! The only bummer was that the mocha itself tasted terribly burnt and bitter. Hopefully it was just a fluke.

Update: Changing my review because of the exceptional customer service from FRGMNT staff. Considering the level of quality of everything else I am willing to assume there was a one-off accident with my espresso.Upside: Pastries and ambience were as good as it gets.Downside: I was just served the worst espresso shot I have ever had. Tasted like spoiled apple cider.

This place is what 3rd wave coffee is all about. They offer a global assortment of premium coffees and brews up different ones daily.One inhale and a sip of my Cortado took me through a field of berries. Smooth and vibrant, it was all too easy to finish it quickly and left me wanting more. Their espresso tonic is a statement as well, once again placing the espresso at center stage. Its the perfect refreshing summer cup. And, Id be amiss to not mention their partnership with Cardigan donuts...my favorites being the blueberry and the coffee cake donut. Coffee and donut lovers- this place is a gem well worth checking out.

Delicious cold brew. Quiet, low-key atmosphere. Spacious and very tasteful modern interior with comfortable furniture and table settings. If I lived nearby I would go there every day. Favorite coffee shop of all time.

This place had very good coffee, tastes delicious and the environment is spacious and sophisticated. excellent spot to do work. however, the coffee is obscenely expensive and you can drive equally if not better coffee elsewhere.

Over priced coffee/tea. I had the chai tea latte and it tasted like a very water down coffee. It was like cinnamon water with a little creamer. I came here to be able to get some work done. It was hard to do so due to how loud it was. You could hear everyones conversations as the walls create echos. There was not enough space either. All the tables/lounge chairs were taken. (Suggest you go either early to ensure you get a spot or late in the afternoon)However, the place was super clean and nicely decorated. The cashier was friendly, but didnt make any suggestions.

I asked if they have just one size of cappuccino and they said yeah so I asked tgem to put 2 cups of cappuccino in 1 bigger cup and 5 minutes later I didnt see my cappuccino but there was a small cup of latte sitting and waiting to be picked up and 5 more minutes later I decided to ask where is my cappuccino and the guy who took my order came over and said well basically this is your cappuccino. I said that tge girl said its a latte and he said basically this is the same since this is the same amount of liquid and now I was like OK and I left. Then I opened up the lid and it was just latte, then i tasted it and its still was latte.. so, someone has to understand that 2 cups of cappuccino do not become latte, it still must be a cappuccino... in addition to that i also ordered an americano and it was the most sour coffee ever..

Love my weekly visit to FRGMNT. The coffee is always delicious and creative, and donuts are tasty as well. If the scones or coffee cake are available, you have to mix that in every once in a while too.

We had a bit of a hard time looking for the entrance, but found it based on the photos from reviews. The place is super cozy, the staff was very friendly, and the food was super tasty. Not very spendy and a great way to spend a Saturday morning! Will be coming back 😊

Love this newer addition to the coffee shop scene in Minneapolis. The atmosphere is amazing, with a wide variety of seating options that could work for individuals, or groups of people. They recently added blended drinks to their menu and the Blendie 3 was DELICIOUS. Ill be back and would highly recommend if youre in the area 😊

Diverse offerings in high-end coffee and chocolate - great for anyone looking to expand knowledge in either. Only complaint is I wish it was more clear that Cardigan Donuts are not available on Sundays so customers dont show up expecting them.

Matcha tonic is super fun. Balanced tannins, fragrance and frizziness.

Nice place but disappointed they didnt have pour overs for a high end shop.

Conveniently located right next to the North Loop Galley. They have a considerable selection of high quality beans, including beans from Heart coffee from Portland (one of my favorite go-to roasters). The space is swanky and the baristas were welcoming. My only criticism is that the latte I got was too hot to get the good flavors from the milk or espresso and ended up tasting a bit burnt.

I just discovered this place and fell in love immediately!They sell unique beans from around the world (berlin, UK, australia, Canada for example) and I was so excited to see that they keep them fresh and up-to-date.The inside is absolutely beautiful with the high ceilings, fireplace, and cute sitting area.When we went in, I got an espresso and it was absolutely to die for. They had those beans dialed in perfectly for espresso and Im not exaggerating when I say it was the best shot I have got from a MN cafe.

This place is so angelic. Come in and get lost in the clouds, the atmosphere is gentle and elevated. Breathe deep and remember what it feels like to let go and relax. Bring an intimate friend or dont. It will be amazing anyway.

Best coffee in Minneapolis, bar none. Their rotating selection of single origin espresso never misses, their employees are knowledgeable and kind, and their seasonal drinks are always unique. Such a large open space, perfect for accommodating people throughout the pandemic. The place is minimalistic and calming while still being fun and stylish. Honestly really enjoy socializing and working there(tons of outlets).

Wonderful shop operated by talented baristas! Excellent coffees on consistent rotation, great housemade syrups, and high quality non-dairy milks on the menu. Bonus: check out the sculptures from a local artist on the far left side of the lobby (beyond the fireplace, by the TV).
