Twin spirits has been on our ‘need to go asap’ list for way too long and we finally made it out! they have a nice big outdoor area for seating under a huge tent. a fun list of tasty cocktails that were reasonably priced. we enjoyed all four that we tried! it was busy so they took a bit to get out to us but it was worth the wait. looking forward to returning and trying the rest of the menu out! personal favorite was the john daly!

So the other morning my mom @pkcoffee and I tried out @twinspiritsdistillery for a coffee working session. They have a great set up for social distancing, plenty of patio space. We each ordered one of their specialty lattes, rosemary basil latte, and ginger mint . They were hands down perfection. Although the WiFi was a little spotty I highly recommend for a coffee till cocktails day. (Best porta potties in town 😁)

Experienced the private green house and it was really nice! Bring games, food, conversation- such a fun environment! Drinks delivered to the door and what fabulous drinks they were- Loved the Impeachment Thyme drink! Impressed with the covid precautions- we will be back!

Twin Spirits is a great distillery that dares to try unique flavor combinations with their cocktail menu, are consistently successful at doing it. It is an inclusive workplace that encourages everyone in the staff to take a hand at submitting potential drink recipes for their menu. There are seasonal drinks that hit the spot,and classics that are always there when you feel like traditional flavors. The liquor and mixes that they create here are delicious. The staff are great for recommendations and friendly too. And bonus, they are woman owned. After the pandemic happened they turned their parking lot into a complete outdoor space, which was great. For winter they purchased small plastic structures that look like greenhouses, to help stave off the cold in the winter. Haven’t been here yet? What are you waiting for? It’s definitely one of the gems of NE Minneapolis. ❤️🍹

I enjoyed their outdoor patio. Order and pay from the table was super easy. My dog loved the free ‘pupuccino’ and I enjoyed a hot chai latte on a slightly brisk evening. Would definitely return to try some cocktails on another night.

Perfect place for a winter outdoor getaway and great cocktails in the heart of NE! The team at Twin Spirits does a wonderful job of providing a COVID-safe space to enjoy cocktails and relax outdoors. They have great customer service and I love that it is the first one-woman owned distillery in MN! I have visited Twin Spirits twice in the last month, and love their outdoor set-up. The first time I did not have a reservation but only had to wait a short time to enjoy a table by a firepit. The second time, I made a reservation with one of their igloos - both were great experiences, but would recommend making a reservation in advance to get the spot you want. They also allow you to bring in other food, so we did sushi take-out in the igloo. Both times I also purchased a take-home cocktail kit and they were delicious! I am looking forward to taking advantage of their great outdoor set up all winter long, and purchasing more cocktail kits for holiday gifts.

TLDR, if youre snobby about your cocktails this probably isnt the place for you. For everyone else, stop by and check out a fun and local distillery!Drinks we tried: Charcoal Lemonade withvodka, John Daly with gin, the Vaccine, and the Verbena Groove with rum.Things we liked: drinks were tasty, atmosphere is great (large open patio seating with music), all drinks are made with locally made liquors, cocktails have fun names and blends, staff are great, and they have an extensive mocktail menu with prices listed out!Things we noticed: their cocktails are unique but werent the best in terms of commenting g the liquor flavor (thats not to say they werent just tasty drinks, quite the opposite). Literally thats the only gripe and were nitpicking pretty hard on that one.Overall, definitely worth a stop in to support a local NE business!

Amazingly distillery, even if you dont drink alcohol!I havent tried the espresso, but if its anything like their others drinks, its sure to be amazing!The mocktails are simply delicious, and Im told the others with alcohol content are also excellent.Ive been there a few times now for their Wednesday evening shows hosted by Queerdo Mpls!! Extraordinary times, great performances, and simply a very loving and inclusive space.Orders are done at the tables (reservations available via OpenTable) via QR codes. Drinks are promptly brought out by superb and friendly staff.Food has been by a food truck nearby, although some snacks can be purchased as well.

Always a great time, I visit when my local women’s group has a gathering. This time we had the butterfly pea gin and tonic. Strong and beautiful.

We had a wonderful time here, great Hot Chocolates!! We had a greenhouse that had a heater and a wonderful waitress, very friendly. We were able to bring in food from Tacos Nacho a wonderful hidden restaurant at 2951 Central (inside a local store) and dined over looking fires roasting around us on a crisp day. I would recommend the Steak Taco Salad, Ground beef Tacos and pick up ahead of reservation. We will be back at both restaurants very soon and we never eat out, special fun place. My husband enjoyed cocktails too! Loved being able to support two local businesss at one time. A place to visit when your NE Mpls close to Central & Lowry!

The cocktails are unique, fresh and intently made! I had the Babe and the Blue Mule and it was delicious. The only downside to my visit was it took a very long time to get our drinks and then an even longer time to get checked up on and there were only 7 customers there, we eventually just left cash and got up to leave because we had other places to go and had been there for over an hour at that point. I would definitely recommend visiting, just give yourself plenty of time!

Friendly service. Imaginative drinks. Prices average about $10/drink. Bartender service was slightly on the slow side, although you could tell lots of labor went into each drink. Make sure to order a refill when your drink is half empty. Its a cozy atmosphere. Seats about 20 people. They had candy for free. The Moscow Mule was subpar, but the other drinks we had were good, including Jack Sparrow, Artic Tiki, and Lavender Honey Bee. Outdoor patio looks awesome (pending mother natures cooperation).

This is the first time my husband and I tried a distillery. Hes been into local micro breweries and now he thinks its time to try a new thing.Good thing we trusted the reviews! This place is great. Its a quaint, cute place.I tried their Jack sparrow (I believe its with rum. See picture with the orange garnish). Then I had the gin and tonic. Both were very good. Then my husband bought a bottle of their vodka and gin. When we got home, my husband made a cocktail with limes and lemon with their vodka. It was also very good. Also, thanks to Cory for being such a great host.And oh, did I mention that this place is owned by a woman. Yay! And the best thing is, I didnt have a hangover the next day! Their stuff is worth it!

Went there a few years ago and had a great experience. Went there last night and totally different! It is understandable to a point with all the pandemic stuff, but put that aside, had a reservation, got a table with no fire, I can make better drinks at home, service was not friendly! Wont go back..

We had a variety of hot drinks-the hot toddy was great-cloves in the lemon added a perfect teeny bit of pizazz! The vaccine was our 2nd favorite.

As a healthcare worker, it is my responsibility to stay as isolated as possible during this pandemic. My husband misses going out and he is a stay at home father so he has no opportunity to get out. Twin Cities Distillery made it possible to go out, have drinks, and spend time together away from home. The drinks were great! I had the Prez and he had the Hot Toddy. The customer service was great and safe. I would rate more than 5 stars if I could!

The service was slow and very poor. The drinks where decent but nothing special. Id recommend going somewhere else.

Love this place, have a great spacious and comfortable outdoor space with good cocktails. Sat by one of their fire pits tonight and the green houses looked lovely as well. Great staff that made sure we were comfy, will make this a regular spot during winter for sure to be covid safe!

Very nice setup with the individual greenhouse. -2 outside but cozy inside with just a small heater. But chills quite a bit if no sun. Omg I now am a huge fan of the dude white russian. Delicious.

It was...ok. Drinks were ok, but when I found out they only have portable outhouses for their guests....and then when they were both DISGUSTING...it immediately ruined the experience. How could they not be checking for cleanliness? Total bummer!

Nice patio for seating, and even in November in MN was a nice place to grab a craft cocktail. Tried the old fashioned, unique flavor but understated on the actual whiskey. Had a sip of the hot cider and it was good.

This place is a great addition to the booming NE Minneapolis craft spirits community. A cozy, little space with a nice patio, and the drinks are fantastic! Gin and jam? It sounds crazy but its delicious, almost like a boozy fruit smoothie. The Lavender Honey Bee and Verde Venus were awesome, too.

A friend and I picked up the mint julep cocktail 🍸 kit and the rosemary ruckus. The mint julep has been nothing short of amazing. Tonight we crack open and the rosemary ruckus. I expect it to be equally amazing. Everything you need in one papers sack. The fresh herbs the fruit. Everything but the ice well and the glass but they do give you the coaster.

Cocktails are always solid here. Service was pretty slow on last visit when we sat outside. Drinks sat empty for a while a couple times. Think server forgot about us after saying he was going to bring us water at the beginning too. Otherwise usually have had good experiences.

Very casual. Feels more like a neighborhood spot, unlike some of the other distilleries that are more busy.

The moonshine old fashioned was smooth and flavorful. The Impeachment Thyme was delicately flavored and easy to drink. Fun atmosphere. Staff were engaging and knowledgeable. Definitely will return!

It is very cozy inside, so be prepared to either stand or be comfortable sitting a little to fellow patrons. When the patio is open it’s far more open in my opinion. The cocktails are top notch. I have yet to have one I dislike. Happy to be supportive of a woman owned establishment!

Funneling money to partisan political campaigns through consumer purchases. They are open and honest about it on their menu but wow for a business to be openly partisan about their political beliefs is not something you teach in business 101. A shame as the drinks are good quality.

They serve coffee too! I was so happy to learn that they were open and serving coffee during the day. I’ve been a few times now and each time the service was friendly and accommodating and they made me hand tailored coffee and cacao drinks that I loved. And they even let me drink my dog inside. I highly recommend!

I have to say, this is the safest place Ive been to, regarding Covid-19. Tables are spaced further than 6 feet. Their ordering process keeps the interactions between the guests and staff to a minimum, which is a bummer because they all seem very nice, but its for the staffs safety and that is very important. Besides all that, the Impeachmint Thyme cocktail that I had was great.

The drinks were good - no doubt there. The atmosphere, though, was a little uppity. When we got there, there were no open seats. In my experience, you are allowed to get a drink and find a spot to stand. Not here. Don’t expect that. If it’s full, you will be given the #sorrynotsorry look and vibe. It was bizarre and I’ve been to all the NE distilleries - this was the most unwelcoming. Which is sad because I really wanted to support a woman run business. Not sure I’d go back.

I love their spirits and cocktails. The staff is always friendly. I particularly like that they turned their parking lot into a patio during the pandemic.

Great creative drinks, staff was incredibly friendly to not just us but also very caring to each other! The ambiance is perfect for a date night or to hang out with a group of friends. Very excited to come back during the day to try the coffee!

Wow! The best service and most delicious drinks. Saw some live music under their spacious cool tent. Absolutely perfect service! I had a drink called The Veggie Pho- and it blew my mind with how delicious it was. House vodka with basil and a jalapeno... Thilat will now be my summer drink, and thats on periodot Sis!

Great cocktails, sloooooow service. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes after you order. Whether there are 18 people, as there are right now, or 40-some, as in a month ago. I keep coming because its my neighborhood and DANG those cocktails are great...

Can I rate it lower than one star? I have been there a couple of summers ago and it was pretty good but over - priced. We wanted a place for an early nightcap in Feb. and it was not a good choice. Even though theres only enough room for about 25 souls to get served their unique drinks it literally took 45 minutes to get 2 hot toddies. Not acceptable and not worth the trip

Really want to like this place. We waited 20-30 minutes for drinks and asked for a refill of water 3 times and finally had to get water refill for ourselves instead. Drinks were really tasty, they just need to get the right number of staff or a better proicess worked out. Hopefully they work out the kinks. Lots of potential there.

Phenomenal, unique cocktails. It is a cozy joint, so be ready for flexible seating. Sitting at the bar is always my favorite!

Very much wanted to like this distillery. Its in our neighborhood, woman-owned, and dog friendly. The drinks were also tasty and thoughtful. However, the service was very slow due to under-staffing. It took about a half an hour to be served one drink. There were also multiple people drinking while serving. Hopefully the staffing issues will be worked out soon!

Awesome place. I bought hand sanitizer from Michelle the owners. So awesome how they are helping in this time of need. Will have to check out the drinks in the future when they can start selling that again.

Woman owned, very delicious drinks, and an adorable location. This is why I soooooo want to love this distillery, but Ive been here twice and BOTH times had to wait 30+ minutes for one cocktail from their menu. I just cant go back after being disappointed not one, but two times. I just dont see any reason it should take 30 minutes to get a drink...

We had an absolutely fantastic night here. We started with a flight so we could try all the spirits before moving on to cocktails. I really enjoyed the vodkas and gin even though Im normally not a gin drinker. Our group tried many of the cocktails and there wasnt a single one I didnt like. My favorite by far was the Veggie Pho. Dont let the name deter you, its fantastic. The service and atmosphere were wonderful also. Thanks Mike for a great night. We loved having you as our server! We will definitely return.

I visited this establishment in the company of my parents and sister. I am 35 and forgot my ID. I was carded and told I could not partake in the enjoyment of adult beverages. Fine. Ill have a water. My parents and sister order cocktails. The drinks are served. I grab my dads Sazerac and raise it to my nose yearning to enjoy just a pleasurable waft of the forbidden concoction. Yet this experience, an innocent attempt to appreciate these purportedly fine spirits in a manner still legally possible at this stage, was violently trumped by the manager yelling at me scornfully from across the bar, Dont! Dont! You cannot drink without an ID!. And so I was denied even an olfactory testimonial of this watering holes home-crafted product. Ashamed, criminalized and melting under the stares of other patrons, I set the drink back down on the table and slumped like a sad stooge on my stool. I will not return, ever. Not even with my ID. Because this place is not about fancy firewater as I had hoped. Yep, forget all about coming here for premium spirits! Forget all about distillation! Only professionally impure, mean, power-tripping spirits are to be found on these premises! Take your thirst far from here, my friends! For here spirits are crushed and not distilled and for here ones thirst for a bit of joy is never to be quenched!

Terrific all the way around. Excellent spirits and most creative and enjoyable cocktail combinations. Very helpful and accommodating wait personnel. Women - owned and run: most hospitable cozy in the Scandinavian sense of hygge. One of the most enjoyable places Ive experienced in a very long time.

Honest, simple place with nice staff, nice patrons, and good drinks. Im a whiskey guy, so I skipped the cocktails for a neat glass and while young, it was pretty damn good... good enough to buy a 375mL to take home! I know the rest of my party enjoyed their cocktails quite a bit, too!

My wife and I stopped here for a low-key date and had a great time. The patio is cute and spacious. Out of the four drinks we had between us every one of them was delicious and our waitress was knowledgeable, patient, and helpful when we were trying to decide. My favorite part of the experience was that at 8pm on a Saturday we didnt have to fight crowds for a table let alone standing space.
