Midas MV is one of the best auto-repair shops Ive gone to in a long time. Not only is their customer service amazing, they are professional and dont try to steal your money. They really care about their customers, which is something you dont find at other auto-repair shops. Me and my daughter both needed some general repairs and they did it quickly and with precision. These guys are great, definitely will be coming back...

Never been to an auto repair shop that is clean and organized, these guys need more appreciation! I called in for there $17.76 oil special I knew there are rules of only 5qt at that price and you must pay oil disposal fee and tax, I asked guy when I called if I could bring in 1 qt my own oil brand new since my vehicle takes 6 qt. the 1st guy didnt even know and put someone else on phone. The next guy was rude right off the bat and said if you want to bring in your own oil well change oil and charge you normal labor cost, I said yes but I want the $18 special can I bring my own 1 qt for you to add at $18 special price. He then said no claiming its too confusing to add your oil, to which I replied is it really that hard to add 1 qt my oil? At which point he hung up and lost my biz for life. I had previously called other Midas and oil shops and none objected to adding 1 qt my oil at no cost or confusion! Obviously they have staff that doesnt know proper pricing and is rude hanging up on customer. Who hangs up on a customer? RUDE AND NOT PROF IN ANY WAY!!! AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

The manager at the shop (Marco) helped me at the front. I came in for an oil change and they got it done really fast. The workers were always at work.

I came to Midas to get an oil change. Originally we agreed upon a 50$ oil change and half way through they raised the price due to a confusion to 90$. They proceeded to take me on a run and point out 5 or 6 more things wrong with my car. We agreed to fix those things for around 450$. By the end of the day it was twice that due to them adding more services I never consented to. The charged me for multiple pieces of machinery that were at least 40$ more than the price runs for, and none of there added costs accounted for the labor. Sean Took me on a run, I got GOT. 10 out of 10 WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE

You have to get your car fixed here! Do not go to the dealership. The Dealership wanted so much money to repair my vehicle. And they did the same job and used the same parts as the dealership and here they charged me way less and they saved me a lot of money. I payed and my car was fixed very quickly over the weekend and I only have one car so they kindly and quickly drove me to my home. Very friendly staff and the owner is a wonderful person!

I cannot express how wonderful this business/group of people are, but Ill do my best. From start to finish they are professional and give exceptional customer service. This has been the ONLY auto shop Ive gone to that didnt try to rip me off. About a year ago I took my car in to check A LOT of issues (I had a feeling the transmission was toast and I was right). They couldve made an easy $5K+ off of me, but instead they let me know that it was still under warranty with my dealer (a mere month from expiring). They are truly a group of hard working, friendly, and honest individuals. Ive referred my entire family since my first experience, my boss, and friends. This place was amazing. I came in to get a flat fixed and while my car was up on the lift I got an emergency call from my wife who was going into labor. Without hesitation the owner of the shop hands me keys to his car and I was able to make it to the hospital barley in time to see the birth of my first son. I am eternally grateful to them for such an amazing human understanding of the situation and willingness to help. Needless to say when I returned the car my car was ready in perfect shape. I decided to come to this location because of the reviews on Google and Im glad I did. I made an appointment online for Saturday morning, and upon my arrival I was received warmly by Joe, the Service Manager. He was very polite and promptly had my vehicle handed over to the mechanics for service. My overall visit was great and my car was done an hour before what I was originally quoted for the length of time. I will definitely recommend others to this location and be coming back for my cars future needs. A big thank you to Joe and the pleasant mechanics at this Midas for a job well done!

I went here yesterday to get my muffler patched and started conversation about other problems I had with my car and estimates I have gotten elsewhere. They quoted me their price far below everyone’s quotes and it really shows how auto shops can rip you off. This place is honest and has the best prices in town! I am definitely coming here for all my auto needs.

Good, honest shop. Went here after my dealer said my rear brakes were getting worn. I had been here previously to get my front brakes done a couple years earlier and liked the service and pricing. So, I returned to have them look at my rear brakes. After inspecting them, they said my brakes were fine and they would not be replacing them anytime soon.Got an oil change and was on my way.Thanks!

I cant say enough about Sean and his staff at Midas Mission Viejo, CA. I know that I dont have to worry when a light goes on or I just need an oil change. Over the years, Sean and Nick have been so friendly, fair and honest. I really cant say enough. I cant believe that I enjoy having my car serviced. They are so friendly and make me feel so well taken care of. It is hard in this day and age to know that we have to take care of an expensive machine to be independent. I know that Sean will make this work for me. He will keep my car running and will treat me so well. A Senior citizen needs to know that they can be independent and can count on their auto. Who can ask for more. This is family plain and simple and they deserve all of our thanks and gratitude.

This place is great. I saw a TV commercial about Meineke a few days ago, I called and made an appointment to check my brakes, they checked my brakes and the price i got was less than half of what my jaguar dealer wanted. They got the job done on time for a great price and great warranty(life time pads) WOW and my brakes works as good as ever. This place is the cleanest, most organized, well staffed shop I have ever seen. I very highly recommend them to all my friends and family. I will be bringing all my cars here from now on.

Absolutely the best place to take any vehicle. These guys are pros. They explain everything, show you, and always go the extra mile. I am going to replace the part myself, and Sean the owner suggested after replacing the part, to come by again so they can test it out, and ensure Ill pass my smog check, for FREE! Best shop I have ever been to and let me just say, Ive been to a lot. I drive a 98 honda and this car always needs repairs so, I know a thing or two about a good mechanic shop. Came in after another mechanic told me my tires were separated and not repairable. They did end up needing to be replaced, but the guys were willing to inspect and talk to the previous midas store I purchased them at. We pulled the tire in question off and found a huge gash, not even mentioned at the other place. Gave me a few options, and at 4 PM said he could have me fixed up before close. Barely an hour later he had gotten my new tires from the warehouse and had me ready to go. Excellent customer service, and he cut me a deal on the tires. I will be using this location for all of my automotive care from now on.

I have high level of confidence for their excellence and Care regarding all four of our vehicles that we bring in over quite a few years from oil changes, new tires, front end alignment. And miscellaneous vehicle repairs including new brakes and specially repairs for my daughters VW beetle along with confidence on modifications to my new 2019 Silverado 2500 Z71.I highly recommend them for any vehicles you need to have maintenance done on as well as repairs that might come your way. This Midas saved me on Easter weekend. On my way up, blew my clutch and was stuck on the freeway. Got towed and found this Midas, who was able to diagnose and repair by Monday, despite Easter. They gave me a car for the weekend while I waited, to boot. Awesome job and great service!

I had the worst possible experience in Mission Viejo Midas. They checked inspected the breaks and found no issues. When I started driving I noticed one of heard a loud noise from the rear wheels. After a bit of driving I stopped and checked  the wheels. One wheel was COMPLETELY LOOSE and ready to fall off the car. They had not tighten the nuts! I could remove the nuts by hand.When the owner, Sean, was informed, at first he acted like it was not a big deal and its just completely normal! When I told him this could have killed me if I had driven just a little bit longer, he started yelling at me that What do you want me to do. He was a complete bully. Then when I told him this is not acceptable, he decided to tell me it is a human error and it happens everywhere. I asked him why they do not have a check, he explained they are supposed to check but clearly, it was not the case about my car. Still nothing about being sorry or apologizing. Then he decided it could be fun to yell at the employee and tell me that he is going to fire him. Then, it came to him that he can tell me he is sorry and he shook my hand and test drove my car to make sure it is safe. It was a horrible experience. Stay away.

Went back for a fourth time to get my car fixed, still my brakes squeak horribly. I am at the Midas in Hunington Beach now and they assure me they will fix it. This has been the worst customer service experience of my life. The worst of it accumulating with the owner cussing at me in a tai raid over the phone, he told me not to call them any more, not the thing you want to hear after you paid them close to $500. Buyer beware, worst mechanic ever! The owner is not responsible for his store and does not keep his word, Im talking with corporate and lawyers now. 0 stars!!!

I finally found a place that I can feel at home with. The Midas shop in Mission Viejo is awesome, I went there for the first time for noisy brakes not knowing what to expect and to my surprise Sean and Nick took the time to not only explain what the issue was but to walk me out to the car and show me that I didnt need brakes and the noise was caused by some debris caught in the back? plate which Nick removed. My car sounds like new again and at no charge, they are true professionals.M

They did the first brake job on my P/U that it ever had. I have been driving this truck since 2011 when it was new. 5,000 miles after their brake job, I had to take it back because the truck was shaking like the rotors were warped. They offered to redo my brake job at no cost, however, they had to turn my rotors because the rotors were warped very badly. 2,000 miles after the redo I had to take it back because it began shaking again just like before. They stated they now had to replace my rotors and that they would do the job for parts only. At this point, I decided not to allow them to work on my truck any further. I have now been driving my truck for 2,000 miles after getting a brake job at another company. I have no issues at all and am very happy with the other companies work. I cannot recommend Quality Car Care Center.

I had been taking my car to Sean for years and never had a ploblem. I thought the man trustworthy and honest. It was not until I took my car in to have the timing belt checked that they installed when the true Sean came out. He made every excuse in the book not to fix my car. He even went as far as falsifying documents. What a JERK! After challenging him on all his cop outs he finally said I dont have time and am shorthanded. After leaving very upset I calmed down and went to Meineke in Oceanside CA. What a difference in quality, respect, and all around concern. After explaining the situation they put my car up on the rack, fixed the problem with the timing belt, did not charge me for anything, and told me it was covered under there nation wide warranty. I will never go to Meineke or have Sean or anyone on his crew touch my cars again. If I were to go to his funeral it would only be to spit on his grave.

I have been a customer of this shop for years. I found this place to be honest and trustworthy, I recommend everyone to give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.

Update – This is when this shop was Meineke. Had the timing belt and water-pump changed, was an issue and I was told it was with the spark plugs. Turns out it had nothing to do with the spark plugs, they just did a bad job and now the water-pump is leaking. Glad to hear that the shop has changed ownership.

Horrible Crooks! They told me I urgently needed a $540 rear brake job on my Toyota - that I needed new drums and shoes. I immediately called Pep Boys and got a quote for $200 less for the exact same repairs I was told I needed. Meineke then offered to match that price. But heres the kicker... I took the car to a mechanic I know and trust and found out I didnt need a rear brake job for another 10,000 miles. My drums and shoes were fine. Not only were they trying to gouge me, they were trying to gouge me for repairs I didnt even need.

Nick was amazing. Fixed my exhaust in 5 minutes AND didnt charge for it! Will be back :)

Sean and his crew were great! I was having some issues with my Hummer on a drive to disneyland with my family and had to make an emergency stop at theyre shop. They were very willing to help and trouble shoot my vehicle even though they were about to close for the day. The seemed like they really cared and made us feel welcome at theyre place. Went in just for my rear brakes. Was quoted one price on the phone. Was told a different price later on. Tried to tell me other things needed to be done on my car. They did not need to be done! When I was persistent on just getting the brakes done, they got mad at me and threats were made. Dont go here!

2 stars because they did me a solid and got my car fixed in the last hour of their day. But BOY am I DISAPPOINTED!! I made it 5 miles down the road just for my car to start acting up again and then to completely shut off. Looked under the hood and my engine cover is gone and not even in my trunk. They are now closed and wont be back until Monday. My friends from out of town are now stuck with me on the side of the road over an hour away from home with no way to get help from Midas. VERY UPSETTING.
