Also, I was nervous about my bangs, never got them cut wet, but she did them in seconds and they are absolutely perfect. As well as my new cute length of my Bob hair cut.

This is by far the best professional hair experience I have ever had! I love everything about this salon! My hair has never been healthier! Very peaceful experience and they take their time. In fact I was just getting my hair done when the call came through that Aliza describes on her one star review. I heard the stylist on the phone and she was very kind but was not given the chance to finish her sentence before Aliza hung up the phone on her. She even called her right back and left her a voice mail. Please disregard that one review. This is the best place to get your hair done. And Aliza I hope you give them a second chance! You will be so happy you did!

Robin is the only stylist I trust with my hair! My hair tends to get brassy very quickly and doesn’t take color very well and every time she manages to get the perfect desired color effortlessly. I moved out of town a few years ago and tired to find a comparable hairstylist in my area but was never happy with the outcome so after much deliberation I traveled 7 hours to see her and have her fix my hair the way I wanted it to look. I don’t understand what the ladies problem was on the phone but you guys need a new person to answer the phone who’s actually a decent human with kindness and who isn’t rude for no reason. i called just about pricing and the lady wants to be all mean and tell me there’s no appointments for today like did i ask for an appointment today? no i asked about pricing. and it’s not even that it was her tone that set me off. very rude and way too privileged. take notes on how to communicate to people the right way instead of giving them attitude for no reason. glad i didn’t get to go in. such a joke of “professional” hairstylist.

So grateful to Robin for working her magic on my hair. I went from extremely damaged, porous, and dry hair to it looking and feeling extremely healthy and soft. I was nervous about having to cut my hair short but Robin was able to salvage my hair and keep my length. I went in for a color correction to match my overgrown roots and she even helped with shampoo and conditioner recommendations. Ever since going to her salon I have regained my confidence and am in love with my hair again.

It’a so hard to find a stylist that knows curly hair. I’m so glad I found Robin, she did a great job cutting by curls and shaping them to look awesome. She went above and beyond to make me feel great and used great quality products to style my hair after the haircut. This will definitely will be my go to place.

They’re not accepting new clients! I called yesterday May 18th looking to only have my hair washed and to inquire for any hair scalp treatments. She recommended me to go to another hair salon instead because they were not accepting new clients.

Robin is very sweet and aims to please. My haircut is not easy to do, but I know exactly what I want and tried many different stylists until I found Robin. She does what I ask her to do, and I am very happy with the result every time I leave the salon.

I went to Robin after many failed tries and money wasted. She is a very gentle, VERY skilled stylist. She cut my hair into a beveled bob with amazing results. I know what yall are thinking: how hard is it to cut a bob? But I had terrible experiences before and my bobs were uneven. My experience with Robin was exceptional. She is kind, takes her time to ask what you want every step of the way. On the big plus side, her salon overlooks the Lake!

Found Robin Brooks Studio via the great reviews... and I was not disappointed! I am 70, new to the area, and wanted to cut 12+ inches to donate to a charity. I gave Robin free rein to give me whatever style that would net 12+ inches of lopped off hair and look good. Went from an “aging hippie” braid to a chic and sleek bob. Have had 100% rave reviews.... which you would hope for fresh out of the salon. But after a week, it is still looks great.... with minimal after- shampoo care! Terrific job, Robin! Also her 1-person studio is quiet, peaceful and beautiful with a lovely lake view. Recommend her highly!

Robin did a color correction to give me my natural grey hair back by taking off the dark brown hair in a very careful process. Robin used quality conditioner that made all the difference to my dry hair. A true professional who knows her trade. I’m a forever client now.

Easily five stars. I would put six if I could. I am a 30 year old male trying to get more of an 80s hair-metal look, and its ridiculous to try and explain it to some of the barbers or haircutters around. With Robin I got a great, personal experience that allowed me to explain my vision with her as she filled me in on some ways it could be done to grow fuller and more natural. I now have the hair I absolutely love to feel every morning and literally makes my whole day 🔥. This has been my second time doing the Coppola treatment with Robin, and she is by far the best in the OC. I’ve gotten my hair relaxed in several areas, but with Robin, my hair is more smooth and lighter without being too fragile. Her methods are a lot longer lasting as well than any of the other stylists I’ve been to. She is the hair relaxer stylist and will plan on going to her whenever I want I want my hair to be tamed.

Robins salon popped up on a favorable list when I needed to change hairdressers. I researched quite a few and found I was attracted to the pictures of clientele she displayed on her business site. When I met her I found her to be a lovely, sweet person who as your stylist takes the time to listen to what you want, but also makes insightful suggestions so that together you come up with the perfect cut for your preferred look and lifestyle. She gives me a classic cut suited to my age that I can wear curly, straight, casual or chic. I love Robins work!

My mother and I went to Robin on a whim as we were on our way to Long Beach from Ontario. We called to see if we could make an appointment and when she answered she was kind, accommodating, and welcoming. She allowed us to make a same day appointment and also gave us $20 off of our first appointment with her.She was truly a delight to spend time with, and she is tremendously talented. She spiced up my mothers hairstyle, and fix the style I had been sporting. Despite being almost 7:00pm, she was gracious and unhurried. She is a self pronounced perfectionist and took the time necessary to do a great job. We think she has magic scissors! Robin is knowledgable, down-to-earth, and was extremely kind to us. We were also blown away by her office, which over looks a beautiful lake.If you want to go to an experienced stylist who is absolutely in tune with the wants and needs of her clients then Mrs. Brooks is your woman!

I came to Robin frustrated with my hair. She took the time to listen to my frustrations, addressed them, and had me walking out of her studio with a smile! I normally cut my hair every 4 weeks, but with her schedule, we are doing every 6 weeks or so, so after my first cut we kind of had to see how it would grow out and possibly make adjustments from there. And we did, and I walked out a second time even happier with the cut! Get a stylist who LISTENS when you have a consultation about your hair. Robin will definitely make you happy

So when my sister and I went to her salon to get our hair done she was very accommodating and she patiently listens as we explain to her the hairstyle that we want. I just got my haircut from her and it was more than I expected!Robin is a genuinely nice person who treats her clients with care and is always making sure that you are more than satisfied with the results.

About a year and a half ago I discovered Robin in a Yelp search. She did a great job on my hair (partial weave & cut) and I would definitely go back. Her prices were reasonable, she included two highlight colors to better blend with my natural color (which Im greatful for since my last at-home color attempt was not great!). Her space inside Phoenix Salons had a fantastic view of the lake to enjoy while she was working on my hair. Bonus - free WiFi. :-). I’ve been a regular ever since & highly recommend her to anyone.

I am new to the area and was looking for a new hairstylist. I Googled hair stylist and Robyn came up. I had not had my hair done in about 3 to 4 months due to moving which I usually get my hair done about every 6 weeks. I was a little nervous because I had been going to my stylist in Texas for 10 years. She did a great job following the highlights I had. She also recommended a keratin treatment which I had not thought about and I am thrilled with the results, the color cut and keratin. I recently moved to Lake Forest and had to find a new hairdresser. Id driven by this salon many times as its so close to my home, so I decided to make an appointment after reading so many positive reviews. And Im so glad I did! Robin really takes the time to work with you on what you would like, and shes so down to earth and easy to talk to. I was so happy with my experience that I ended up taking my whole family for haircuts, including my antsy 1 year old! (Of course we had to wait until he fell asleep to cut his hair, but she did an amazing job and was so patient with us while we tried to figure out how we were going to get him to sit still.) I have since gotten a facial, and a mani/pedi. As long as I live in this area, this is the only salon I need!
