Ordered an ATS emergency alert telephone dialer in March-18 to help out an elderly friend who lives alone, a few months later the speaker component of the device stopped working. I shipped ( at my expense) the phone back to ATS for repairs as it was too late to return the item for a full refund, but I was shocked to learn that the shipping costs back to me were at my expense as well. As this order was placed from Canada and all charges are in US dollars the total shipping almost cost as much as the phone purchase . This product was of poor quality, the speaker which is a crucial feature of the phone was not clear and garbled and to top everything the phone broke down after several months. Company claimed the phone no longer worked because it was dropped, however, this phone was set up and only used as a monitor for the panic button and I was assured by my friend that it was not dropped.Based on my experience with this product I do not recommend it.
There was a mistake in pricing for a product that I purchased. The mistake was dealt with in a very generous manner. I could not have asked for better service, both in response time and resolution of the matter.
I ordered a WIFI Video Smart doorbell from this company. It arrived defective. (Chinese junk). I was forced to pay the return shipping cost ($11.90) in order to receive a refund on the product. I asked numerous times to escalate the issue and speak with a supervisor or manager. I was denied access to anyone and received no return phone calls.
ATS sales and web info says their system will work with cell phones IF you buy their bluetooth device (I did). Product manual for bluetooth device shows a flip phone being programed and used on their system. Only problem is that most if not all cell phones will work on their system - certainly not the Jitterbug flip phone! So I programmed an iphone on their system only to learn from Sherry @ ATS that their system doesnt recognize the tone sounds of iphones! (they dont say that anywhere either). Sherry at ATS promised me she would call and research Jitterbug and also have their tech person call me to help me resolve programming issues. She did neither. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Terrible customer service!
