We just tried to take our Santa Fe in for service today and Josh was condescending to my wife. For the past 2 years we have taken our SUV in for an Oil Change and usually 1 more sound to check out without any issues.We found out our Tie Rod needed replaced this way and several other services. We just had our SUVs starter replaced by them and have had a new sound coming from that area. So we scheduled an oil change (which it needed) via online and added this sound in per the online system. My wife took the car in and was told that they would only do the oil change and we would have to pay $110 for another appoint to review the sound. We only have one car so every appoint is costing us more money due to not being able to get to work. Keep in mind we just spent several hundreds of dollars and waited on them for almost a week to get our starter fixed just two weeks ago.I know they are busy but talking down to a loyal customer and blaming online appointment types (you can only book oil changes online) is not who I want to give my business to. We will be look at new alternatives for service now.

My wife’s new accent was making a funny noise coming from the front wheel. We were visiting Myrtle from Charlotte. No reservations available next several days. Super kind staff on the phone from receptionist to service reservation scheduler to Josh, the Service Advisor to the service managerI just needed to know if it was at least safe to drive home. Josh had us bringing it in but said we would probably have to wait as packed as they were and would look at it with his service manager.Within 1 hour they test drove it, and diagnosed a problem but said it was fixed. If I lived in Myrtle Beach area I would return there for any service. Super nice, professional service. If you need anything for your new or used Hyundai, make sure you go see them. They are great. Thanks again for everything.

Just took my wife’s car in for oil change only to find out that her battery needed to be replaced. Warranty on battery was for 36,000 miles. She has 39,000 on it. Since it’s not a Hyundai made battery it’s not covered. Here’s where it gets good. A new battery is $300 and can only be done at the dealership. Glad we found out this out before my wife bought a $45,000 Palisade. Now she’s having second thoughts about buying another Hyundai vehicle. This is not negative review towards the dealership. Just left a bad taste in our mouth to buy another Hyundai vehicle if it going to start breaking down and needing repairs as soon as warranty expires.

The price you charge seems to be in a premium range. The service received seems satisfactory. Said another way, I am paying a premium price for standard service.A contributing factor to my rating is that my copy of your ticket gives me no information. I cannot ascertain what was checked, what you did to react to the check and / if your action corrected anything because you ran the check. I spent $850 dollars and I really am unclear that anything was done to the vehicle.The staff in the Service Dept. are very nice, welcoming and attentive. However, I did not have the feeling that these folks are my advocate. Rather, they are advocates the dealership and that they are going maximize the dollar amount I spend at every service interval.

I purchased a 2020 Santa Fe Feb 2019. The SUV is lovely, drives wonderfully, is roomy and comfortable.However, I did not like driving it at all!That is until I met with Antonia at the Myrtle Beach dealership on 1/25/21 for about 1 1/2 hrs. She took time and expertly and efficiently explained every aspect of the SUV. The manual was difficult for me to follow and the size of a bible. This was part of my frustration. And I was there for assistance in this matter twice before but left still baffled.Antonia entirely set up my phone and SUV control dash Info.The technology is so incredibly complicated and all the beeping was distracting to me. I actually agreed with my adult son to give him the Santa Fe in April and to replace it with another less technical vehicle.That is until I met with Antonia..... needless to say my son is quite disappointed.... and I am enjoying my Santa Fe for the first time since I purchased it.Antonia is a huge asset to your dealership!

~ Terrible Customer Service ~I experienced a critical malfunction with my brand new 2021 Sonata and, from the very first call back to the dealership and sales person, was asking to discuss the issue with a member of management. It was clear after four days and no response from any member of management, and until I placed the call myself, that they had no intention to call. My car is back in the shop yet again and I have owned the car for less than a month.

The only positive comments I can make about this dealership is the professionalism of the salesman, Kevin. He went out of his way to determine what we wanted in a car.We purchased a 2021 Elantra and the interest rate was way too high for people that have an extremely positive credit rating. That was the first issue that we unfortunately didn’t realize until we returned home and began to review the paperwork. Had we been told this while there, we would have just left without making a purchase.Now, to top everything off, while the car was setting in my driveway just two days ago, the rear driver’s side window exploded. There were no cars riding by, no one in the area cutting grass, nothing that should have caused this. The only thing I can imagine is that the glass must have been defective.I immediately contacted the dealership but the man who answered my call advised me that they were closing in 15 minutes and to call back on Monday to speak with the service manager. I called back and so far have heard nothing.I contacted HyundaiUSA and advised them of the problem and was given a case number. The lady told me someone would reach out to me. So far, nothing there either.At this point I am ready to just throw up my hands with them and take my car to my insurance company to get it repaired.

UPDATE: Gave this dealership another opportunity to service my 2019 Sante Fe for an oil change and factory software update. Ran rough afterwards and then check engine light came on. Opened the hood and found the oil cap was never replaced and there’s not a drop of oil registering on the dip stick.The most rude service department ever. Stay far, far away from this dealership. Hyundai is a fine quality vehicle worth the money but please shop elsewhere...just not Myrtle Beach Hyundai!!!

After car shopping for a couple of months we went back and saw Dave to buy a Hyundai Sante Fe Ultimate. He had spent time with us during the summer when we test drove the Sante Fe. When we came back he knew what we wanted and had pulled out one in each color and was ready for us when we got there! We went with the Stormy Sea. Everything went quite smoothly and we got a good deal. All the employees were friendly and the tech guy, Ross, got it set up and showed us everything we needed to know as this was our first car purchase in a decade!! He even set up and synched our phones! We were pleasantly surprised that the finance guy, Steve, made even THAT part of the day almost fun too! Overall Id say the experience was a 🌟 🌟🌟 🌟🌟 (5 star) 👍👍(2 thumbs up)!!! Also for every car sold a donation is made to a Childrens Cancer Charity!! Through the many car purchases Ive done in my lifetime, this was by far the best experience I have ever encountered. Our sales rep. Jason Hearn was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient and caring. The process was so streamlined that you will not spend hours there unless you need it. They are quick, fair and to the point in a good way. They dont play the BS that most other dealers play. They truly make sure you are happy with your purchase. At closing, the lady whos name I cannot remember and I feel bad about was fantastic. She took the time to show my mother all about the vehicle and the electronics. She put herself on her level and simplified all the mechanical buttons so she could understand. I would highly recommend this dealer for your car purchase!

The sales department and the cashier were great, the service department however, they were the rudest I have ever experienced. Eddie didnt care how he spoke to the customers on top or rather they were helped or not. The guy that worked on my suv language was ridiculous. Pollen had fallen on mi suv and he said my Jeep was filthy and he was not working on it. The service people are either not happy with their job or either they had me scheduled on a really terrible day.

Like most dealerships, they don’t really care about you, all they care about is money. Me and my parents went to go look around at some cars and was greeted by a nice guy, Kevin. He helped me find a car that was within my price range and even got the price knocked down for me a little. I signed all the paperwork and was gonna drive off in my dream car. We had to go figure out insurance stuff with Kevin’s manager, Steve. All Steve cared about was money. Steve was trying to get me to get me to pay extra a month for an add on warranty. But get this.... the car already had the warranty but Steve lied to us and said it didn’t. (While we were looking at the car Kevin told us that it had power train warranty for 100,000 miles.) My experience here was awful. I do not recommend a young girl going here without a parent that knows a little about this stuff, because they will take advantage of you.

Great salesmanship!! Granddaughter bought her first car on her own!! She had done all her research online. Not happy with the way they handle their service appointments. Made an appointment online then after NOT receiving a confirmation called them and was told they were booked out until the following week. They said I didnt get a confirmation because they were booked full all week! Double checked their online service appointment web page again and it shows there are MANY appointments available this week. What a way to run a business! Disappointed to say the least. (We bought our car new here only 2 years ago)10/14/2020:Ive read your response. I see what youre doing here. (Placing the ball back in my my court.) Why should I have to contact YOUR service manager about YOUR problem. Wouldnt it be more appropriate and effective if YOU contacted him regarding this? (Still disappointed and maybe even more so.)

Kevin and The Sales dept is very professional other than smoking cigarettes all over the lot. did a wonderful job at getting the deal done. The guy that sits up there at the front on the left seem to be pretty lazy as he just sat there most of the time other than to go outside and smoke which was probably close to a pack in the time we was there and then right back to his seat. Just seems non professional there especially when the guy with facial hair is going into the offices trying to close deals. Ross was proficient In his knowledge of the vehicle and the clean up guys did a half okay job at cleaning the vehicle. Definitely not the best for a new car. Had a great conversation with a young veteran named Chris who works on the lot. If you ever want to hear some great stories then you should talk to him. Very friendly and professional attitude. Happy to see this place takes care of veterans and for that I give an automatic 5 Stars!

Went in last week to just browse and look at SUVs because I wanted to get a bigger car. My Mom was going to get a new Santa Fe and suggested I go there and ask for Jason Hearn. He showed us the different models, colours, and talked about the prices for options. My mom went ahead with her purchase, but I wasn’t sure so I said I would wait. They wanted to be able to sell us both cars that day, so Jason went back and he got me an amazing deal for my trade in and the price of the new car! It truly felt like he was working for us and getting us good deals and not just trying to make money. He went over all of the details, the electronics in the car, and even came in on his day off when I picked up my new car! I recently had a knocking sound begin out of the blue on a return trip from my back surgeon to hours away. I did a search for any recalls, because I had gotten one for a seatbelt tensioner recently. There was also one for a sensor that detects engine noise. So, we towed it (even though it was still driving perfect minus the knock)to the dealership. Jason was so professional and kind! Ended up, the motor was under warranty and Hyundai replaced it at zero cost to us! Thanks Hyundai of MB, Jason, the techs and Hyundai in general!

On Sunday afternoon, my engine was miss-firing and the check engine light came on so I left car at Myrtle Beach Hyundai and placed keys and a note in the after hours drop-box. On Monday by mid-morning the service department had diagnosed the problem, informed me the parts were in stock and it was repaired and returned to me by mid afternoon, the same day! The service department went over the entire car and when I picked it up, it was running like new. If the timeliness and service quality wasnt enough, the repairs cost less than I expected! We are on our 2nd Hyundai Tuscon. We started coming here when my old 2011 had a recall on it. When it died, we had it towed back as we didnt know what was wrong. They diagnosed it as needing a battery. But the story gets better - the tow truck company didnt tow it into the shop correctly & literally destroyed my car (drive train, transmission, etc.)... the service shop manager stepped in personally & worked with me on it with my insurance company & our lawyer... The service & care they showed to me & my husband was above & beyond... When the insurance company totalled my car, it is one of the reasons we went back specifically to Myrtle Beach Hyundai - they showed care & understanding... HIGHLY RECOMMEND them
