Customer service was great but I felt they couldve done way better in trying to find me a bank to finance me a car but they didnt, two days later another dealership found me the car I was looking for and a bank to finance me

If you live more than a few blocks away, dont bother. Despite their automated systems that will hound you with texts the minute you contact them, their salespeople cant be bothered to inform you of inventory status. So you may drive hours to find that a vehicle is already sold... because these guys will call and leave you a coy, call me back voicemail instead of simply telling you that an advertised vehicle is or isnt available. Dont do business with people who steal from you.
Terrible customer service to have oil change. They took 2 hours. The new crew is not friendly and i can hear them talking about personal life and the manager not great either. Miss the original crew that worked there.
Covid, covid, covid, should not be an excuse! They called us for the service but, when we arrived early we felt ignored! After waiting 15 minutes w/no help. We left! Had allot more important things to do.

I like going there because the people are knowledgeable friendly and always do what needs to be done to your vehicle in a prompt manner the place is clean and well taken care of just like my car
The sticker price wasnt what was posted to the website. The girl who was helping us was really good with our kids but as soon as we asked about price, it was a suffocating experience. We planned to finance through our bank but from the beginning they wanted us to finance through them and take the car the same day. Then some random man came over and looked at the paperwork and told us that we could take it home today with financing, didnt introduce himself, no one asked him over. Needless to say, we wont be buying their overpriced used car.
Our family has purchased 2 cars from Frank Motors... A brand new Hyundai, and a used Chevrolet. We got great service all the way through the process both times. When purchasing the used car, we were encouraged to test drive a bunch of cars until we found the best fit for us. I was especially pleased with the follow up service I received. I recommend them highly and without hesitation.
Bought my car 6 months ago. Brought it in today for a scheduled oil change. Everyone is nice and professional, wearing Subaru branded masks, and respecting distancing rules. While I was sipping on my complimentary chai latte, I was working on my Chromebook in a clean, modern waiting room thanks to Franks free WiFi. I didnt even touch a pen or visited a cashier, all they needed was verbal authorization. The best service experience I have had.
Bought my first new car here, a 2019 model, and it was an excellent experience. However, we discovered some ugly scratches on the hood of the car as soon as I arrived home that we had somehow missed at the dealership, but I give them huge credit for making the process of fixing it painless and free of charge. Their service team is extremely friendly as well and provide awesome customer service. Cannot recommend this dealership enough!

Their parts department offers the best service. If your part is not outright available, you can pay for that specific part and when it comes in, they will give you a call to pick it up.

Went to look at a jeep for 15k. There were no floor mats, no gear shift knobs, broken for handle. Was told if they had to fix everything theyd have to charge more. Sorry but you dont sell an incomplete vehicle for a premium price and then make excuses. Wont go there again and would not recommend to anyone else.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Oil change, tire rotation, multi-point inspection, and wash took almost an hour and a half, even with an appointment, which seems kind of long.Oh well, they have a very nice lounge with a free Starbucks machine!
Frank Subaru is a great place to buy your Subaru... Bought my second Outback (2017) when my 2012 Outback did it job when some drunk plowed into us doing 100+ MPH. We escaped with some minor broken bones. So that is why I went back for another deal from them. It is a very good dealership to go to.

Really good service, but so slowww, i was there for about 4 hours for an oil change, not an enjoyabke experience at all, I guess you can get free coffee so thats nice... but still very slow. But overall very good work

Ive been looking for a specific car and submitted an online request through a third party website. I was contacted via text and told that they had the exact car I wanted. I offered to drive down that night but the person texting me suggested an appointment the next morning. I was preapproved for the loan from my credit union and knew I definitely wanted this car; driving my current car down didnt make sense since I wasnt trading it in, so I got up early on a Saturday morning, left my house at 745 am to drive to the train station in Oceanside and took the train to San Diego, then the trolley to National City, and then walked about 1 mile to the dealership. And guess what, they didnt have the car. They never did. They claim it was a mix up with the system and not an outright lie to get me in the door. And they didnt make an ounce of effort to find me anything even close to what I wanted. So I called an uber to take me back to the train station (by now I was pretty cranky and in no mood to walk back to the trolley stop) waited an hour for the next northbound train and am now finally on my way home. The entire car buying experience has been a nightmare, cars must be selling themselves, because the people Ive talked to in the last few weeks arent. Its the one and only time in my life that I can think of where being honest, direct, and friendly hasnt worked. And my natural inclination to think people are being honest and acting with integrity is being put to the test. I think Im going to take a break and re-evaluate my options. I have been a customer of Hyundai vehicles for over a decade, same dealership. Not impressed with new management but we all different expectations when it comes to customer attention and care. I think its time to shop somewhere else.
We live in the Southbay but choose to drive 20 minutes to La MESA to be treated with courtesy and respect.
My expierence here has been very rocky. When I first purchased my vehicle I bought it with an immediate full high tech warranty. This dealership claims they have the resources to fix any issue inhouse and if not they can outsource to main dealerships services. Which is the only reason I bought the vehicle. The day I went to take possession if my vehicle it would not start they had to jump it.i took it to my mechanic and he said to take it back that it has issues. I waited for them to fix the issue and came back again for the second time and the vehicle would not start again. They also claimed they would give me a ride to and from the dealership to pick up and drop off the vehicle for service. Every time I asked for a ride I was denied. I spent 100$ on uber rides back and forth for a vehicle that would not start. I took it back and in effort to try and fix the ongoing issues which are all covered by the warrenty. The dealership was reluctant and hesitant to do so. They even offered me my money back so they wouldnt have to hold up their end of the contract. When I finally did turn it into service they immediately took it to the main brand dealership. It had several codes including battery disconnected and many others as well as was having some transmission and electrical problems. The service manager Maria called me and accused me of disconnecting the battery( at this point I had only had it 2 days with several codes and lights including transmission pop up. I did not do anything to the vehicle.) Yet I was accused to be the source of the problem why the vehicle wasnt working. They than had the vehicle for 2 weeks and I had to fight to get a loaner car which they finally did. After I got my vehicle returned I learned they manually cleared all codes and all lights and were unable to determine the source of the issue. (Obviously sooner or later the issues came back a week later) and the car even died on me. I immediately contacted Service manager Maria and informed her if the situation and she stated I dont know what you want me to do about it, Im not going to fix it because management wants to give you your money back and take you out of that vehicle I had to explain that cant be done without my consent. She than hung up on me and said were done I then contacted General Manager John whom seemed to be slightly helpful however his only concern was to get my out of that vehicle vs displinceing his staff or fixing ongoing issues or provide customer service. I have worked in customer service industry for years and must conclude that these people do not have the necessary skills to back what they say nor can there service department prefrom proper service nor are they capable of providing customer service. I had to contact my warranty company and inform them the dealership I purchased the vehicle from refuses to work on the vehicle per the contract. They sent me to a main brand dealership instead. Which I am still in the process of getting it fixed. My warrent offers a rental car if the dealership has cars available in house theyll pay for it, if not thelly reimburse me for paying for a rental. I contacted the dealership in which I bought it from and asked for a rental or loaner and even told them the warrenty will pay for it. General manager John again refused because he wants me out of the vehicle so he doesnt have to deal with it. I wouldnt reccomend any person to buy a vehicle here. If you are looking for a vehicle to be bought and then left to dry without support and customer service you came to the right place.Also every time I call this place they do not answer and most recently every time I call it says the number I am calling has been disconnected. Apparently they cant pay their phone bill.Enjoy car problems have a nice day

They suck, they told me to get my paperwork together to give to them to try and help me buy even a used car, so I do this asap and send it to them thru email and it took this person 4 days to look at it and was suppose to call me back the next day with an answer from his boss if he wants to sell us a car, but then he tells me to call later in the afternoon and he should have an answer by then, but when I call him at the time he suggested, I could not reach him on the phone, the receptionist kept telling me that he was busy with a customer, so I left him a message, he did not call me back, so later that evening he finally answered my call and gave me this Very Bad Mean message, he said, sorry but he was busy with customers all day and had no time to call me back, I thought to myself, what am I, chopped liver, I dont talk so, Im also a customer and why did you NOT take the time for me, he had No comeback, just that he was busy. I told him off and told him that he can take this dealership and shove it up his Ass. I found out later that he has been the Top salesman there for several months and Im thinking that he did not want to sell us a car because we were not going to buy a new one from him and he was probably only interested in selling New cars not used ones because his commission would not be worth his time. I will NEVER go back to that place, even if they were the only dealership available in all of San Diego, No Thanks. Friendly at first, but not so friendly when you want to buy a used car from them, they dont have the time for you. Stick IT, Frank where the Sun dont Shine
So slow today! First the 1230 shuttle didnt show up at all to my house so I had to get on the 1430 shuttle back down to the dealer. Am still here its 1600 and still they havent given me my car back even though they called me to tell me my car was ready around 1200. I had to go and ask what was taking too long and they said they only had one worker out shuffling cars. Its 4 hours after they called me to tell me that my car was ready for pick up at anytime.This isnt the first time they have called me and made me wait a long time for my car. Waste of my time. I dont know if its all the time or just the times im here. I just got a regular service. Its pretty upsetting how long its taking. I just want my car back.
