People are very nice. Dr K and his staff are excellent. Only problem was that they canx my first appt and then asked me to come in a half hour early for my next appt which I did only to sit around til after my initial appt. Then I sat around about twenty minutes waiting to purchase the frames I picked out 3 weeks ago. They restocked them because I didn’t show up for appt that they canx. All they had to do is talk to the desk 10 ft away to find out I was rescheduled. Once again the staff was very nice just not talking to each other.

Dr. Hardy is very thorough, diligent, and easy to talk to and understand. The support staff is likewise competent and efficient. The office runs well, particularly important during the current pandemic. Mandy is excellent at fitting eyes are and explaining options. From testing, to examining, to fitting, all their equipment is the latest technology. I feel I was well served at their office.

Ive been seeing, pun intended, Dr. Hardy for about 5 years now. His new location is beautiful and the staff is very professional and courteous. Great selection of Eyewear and fast service. Of course, Dr. Hardy is thorough and professional as well as friendly and he takes the time to listen to all my concerns and addresses each one with his full attention and expertise. My experience in going to my appointment was very impressive and comfortable. The Doctors office is set up for social distancing in the lobby and the high tech equipment is properly sanitized. Mask were worn, and sanitizers were available for use. The staff were professional and pleasant. Thank you Dr Hardy and Staff!

Everyone is polite and kind. The office is decorated very nice in hill country style. Dr. Hardy is also very nice and thorough. They have a great selection of frames. They take VSP and are a premium provider. My son found just the frames he was looking for.

I Appreciated both a text and an automated call to remind me of my appointment. From the first step into the office, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and was taken back almost immediately. Dr. Hardy was very thorough and very knowledgeable with my eye exam. He explained results answered any questions I had and made his recommendations. I would highly recommend him.

I had a really great experience as a new patient! Every single person was so kind and they helped me with a new eye prescription that I’m very excited about. The last place I went to (vision works at Creekside) gave me a really unnecessarily strong prescription glasses. Hill Country eye associates helped me change that and I’m so excited to get my new glasses filled with them! Highly highly recommend! They took my insurance as well and the cost was super low!

The visit for the exam was excellent. Very professional very polite staff. Extremely uptodate technology and descriptive in analysis. However, when I was looking to get glasses which was the reason I wanted to go. I was informed that their lab is not in network for my insurance. I had to voice my complete disappointment in why I should have never gone there in the first place. That should be described better and I have a federal premium insurance. It isnt on the low end. Why was I just hearing about this now when I asked if everything was in-network over the phone? Plus their selection of frames are limited in styles. About 30 of them all had the same modern style frame.

Just completed my first visit with Dr. Hardy and staff. It was a great experience from start to finish. Dr. Hardy performed a thorough exam and discussed all of his findings upon completion. He then gave me the opportunity to ask questions. I never felt rushed.Mandy was the assistant who helped me pick my new frames. She was kind, listened to all of my requests about what I was looking for and helped me find the absolute perfect pair of new frames. I can’t wait for them to arrive!So happy to have found my new eye doctor!

Dr. Hardy is one of the best, if not THE Best Eye Doc Ive ever seen. His staff is friendly & well-trained, even in the midst of having to socially distsnce. He listens, is very kind & personable, dialing exactly what the patient needs. I would totally refer anyone to see him for his trustworthy services. My hubby will go to him in a week or two.However, on the other side, the older lady he turned me over to, did not listen or give me a price for replacing 1 lens, or even try selling me a totally new pair of glasses. She did not hear me. So, instead of getting my business, I will once again go back to TSO. *sigh*

Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I had a great experience. Plus they have a lot of great technology so I felt I had a very thorough exam. The staff explained everything very well and the Doctor took the time to explain everything and discuss a treatment plan that we both agreed on. I called for a walk-in appointment and was seen in a reasonable time around mid-day. Dr. Hardys assistant gave me a comprehensive exam and was personable, professional and sensitive to my problem.I felt that Dr. Hardy greeted me as if I was a long time patient. He was very concerned about my needs and quickly diagnosed my problem after another thorough exam and recommended some home and over the counter remedies to relieve my discomfort. Much to my liking I might add.My wife and I will make Dr. Hardy our local Optometrist.

I have just moved to Texas and needed eye care for my family and myself. So made the easy appointments at hill country eye. We actually were offered next day apts. At our visit we were treated so well by staff and lots was done for our eye health. We met with Dr Hardy and he’s simply amazing, easy to talk to and so friendly. Super fast in and out! Didn’t have to wait. Got there 15 mins early, filled out forms...turned my forms in and was called back. Dr. Hardy came in before the nurse was out the door! AND the lady helping me with my glasses, even went to the back to look for other styles! Can’t wait for my new glasses!Even the nurses were helpful when I was doing my eye testing and letting my almost 3 year old help her with the machines.

Dr Hardy has been in the eye business for around 20 years or more and he still gives everyone a kind and generous mannerism. The new facility is so beautiful and clean! I was referred to Hill Country Eye Associates by a friend. Dr. Hardy was very thorough. There were some test done that I had not had before. Best part of my visit is that my eyes are not tired and aching. I liked that the staff helped to select the frames for my new glasses. I would recommend Dr. Hardy and his staff to my family and friends.

Service and staff are fine. 2 star review given for cost. I have been going to Dr. Hardy for many years. When I went into the new office on HWY 46 I inquired on how much the exam would be. I was told between $180-$190. The last time I was in I paid $130. I immediately wondered why a 38% increase. When Dr. Hardy was performing the exam I inquired on the charges and the percent of increase. He stated in the last 8 years he had only gone up around $10. While I understand service prices go up I called 2 other well established Optometrists in New Braunfels and the cost ranged from $130-$150.

First off this place is way too nice! The staff and Dr. Hardy are way too exceptional and accommodating and further more...If you really want to go here and be treated like family (The goodish side of the family) then so be it!! Dont say I didnt warn you!! Ask about lasik too if you really want to up your eyeball game.

Moving here from Conroe, I knew it would be difficult finding someplace that my kids would like and that would offer a good enough selection of frames...to appease 2 teenage girls! This place has doctors who genuinely care about both their patients and their parents. They are patient with the kids and very informative in their explanations. The best part that really intrigued me was that they offer (free of charge) print outs of the kids eye scans (under the age of 18). Amazing!

I have been going to Dr.Hardy for a while now and have always enjoyed my eye appointments here but my most recent visit wasn’t what I was expecting. The front receptionist (Kim) was really rude and condescending to me. I don’t understand what older women get out of behaving that way to younger women. Also I think it’s because their new space is really nice and I came dressed in leggings and a T-shirt😂

All of the staff are so nice and helpful. Also very up on Covid preparedness.

I arrived about 30 minutes before my scheduled time (I was a first time patient and didnt know how long it would take me to get from work to the office), I waited maybe 10 minutes or so while filling out my paperwork and I was already being called for my initial exam. Once that was finished I only waited about 5 more minutes before being taken back to a room. The doctor was very prompt in coming in and very knowledgeable! She made me feel very comfortable. This office has a great atmosphere and wonderful customer service. I have never been in and out of an eye doctors office so quickly before, it was great! I would definitely recommend this office and Jennifer Arevalo for your eye care needs.

Dr. Blaschke and her staff did an awesome job on my eye exam. They were very friendly and she explained all my tests in detail, more than any other eye doctor had before. She was able to take time out in between patients when I had an eye infection about a month ago. They have a great selection of glasses and contacts and a good looking office.
