I have always loved shopping at H-E-B ever since childhood. This grocery chain is and has always been a perfect place to shop. They greet you with big smiles and warm hellos . Their meats are always cut perfect and fresh . And they always welcome you to come back ☺️ . I cant wait till they finish building to their bigger better Super store . My only wish would be that they stay open later . I cant get enough of this place the more they have the more I want . I love my H-E-B ❤️

All you could ask for. We love this store . Have shopped there 13 years. The staffing, their service is very good. I love the prices and assortment of items. All in all a great store to shop.

Prices are creeping up too much! And theyre getting too political. They should really stay out of politics. Sell your wares to the entire public and dont take sides on politics. Vote your personal opinion but dont tell me how to vote mine.

Love the better food options with fresher fruits and vegetables. Lots of while foods as well! Service is on par and so is the cleanliness.But will pay a bit more here... better side if town must have something to do with this also. Humm

I love HEB with all my heart, but this one is my least favorite. The cartd are smaller, its usually pretty crowded and the organization is different than at the other ones. That being said, its still HEB, and thats great. The produce is always fresh, the bakery has fresh brad and the alcohol is well stocked. Im super excited for when they build the new one

Disappointing.Moved here recently from Denver where there are King Sooper (Kroger) stores.They have a card that you swipe at check out. You save money on hundreds of items, including national brands.Overall, HEB groceries are more expensive. They have coupons randomly placed on the aisles. Most are for HEB products and you usually have to buy 2 or more to get a deal.The selection is not very good either. There were several national brand items that I have purchased for years that they dont carry.I must say, however, that their employees are very helpful and friendly. It seems like they enjoy the work and genuinely care about their customers.I plan to explore other grocers in the area before deciding on a regular store.

Cant give them 5* cause there just not a HEB +. Though there employees are very nice and knowledgeable.

The man at the deli counter was one of the friendliest and most helpful people Ive met! My mother and I really appreciated his help.

I called her a few days prior to the comal County Fair parade asking her if I can get my hands on some marigolds in order for my Dia de los Muertos costume to be complete. She said that they would not get marigolds in quite yet but she would see what she could do to special order some for me. Sure enough, she found some for me. Fruits and veggies always fresh, wide variety. Seafoods, beef, deli. Great breads, pastries. Curbside is good. Pharmacy staff long time there. Most store staff, managers, dedicated. This is My HEB Walnut & IH35. Restrooms always clean.

Parking lot is a little challenging as they are building a new store, but other than that its a good place to get groceries.

My wife is a surviving cancer patient waiting on scans to see if she is cured. The pharmacy at this store turned her away from getting a Covid booster shot...quote... because it hasnt been six months since her last Covid vaccination (March 4). Where in the latest FDA News Release does it mention 6 months. NOT...shame on you HEB. I have had more than 140 home deliveries in the last 16 months. HELLO WALMART!! The one star is actually ZERO.l

The produce was either there or not wilted. A joke. Much like the restroom, meat and the lack of seafood. All produce was dead days ago. Ghetto. Waste of my time. Left.

Came to the Pharmacy and they did great. I couldnt find my insurance card so I paid for it with my card. Then i found my insurance card and she work hard to put it back on my card and i really appreciate it so much. Thank you Kaitlin!

A well stocked grocery store with a broad variety of items to select from. Employees, in the store were polite and took the time to tell me where I could find items that I couldnt locate. No more than 2 or 3 people were in any of the check out lines. This is certainly a friendly atmosphere to shop in!

Constantly reinventing and always innovating, I remember the small-scale HEB stores of yesteryear while still feeling that same electrical charge erupting from within as I walk through those entrances, happy to be stuck at H-E-B today.This store, right off I-35S on Walnut Avenue, is always well maintained (interior/exterior), friendly staff, easily well-organized, consistency of fresh produce, affordable prices (believe me, $20 here can buy alot more than you think) and genuine staff. Thank you guys for being the influence you are!

Went for a note pad and sharpies which was fairly easy to find. The frustrated thing was the construction, parking lot and too many cars and took forever to get out of the parking lot. I’m sure when they are done with the construction 🚧 it will be a lot better.

I give this HEB one star as due to the curbside it takes 30 minutes or more to get your groceries. They never have enough employees and the managers never want to come out of the store to help. Also regular customers shopping in the store always park in the curbside parking so you can never get a spot, you have to wait or drive around until you find an opening.

Great place to get groceries. The meat selection and fruit selection is really good

Your managers need to do a better job enforcing masks in this store. I only see this problem in New Braunfels, not in Austin. Makes me want to take my familys business to Walmart for our own safety. Do better, HEB.

Its ok. I mean they have things sometimes.

Wasnt very packed. Shelves were well stocked. And I did the self checkout.

This HEB is always clean and has plenty of employees. Normally 50% of the registers have somebody on them so youre not waiting in line too long. During the hurricane Harvey rush. They had every lane open and I only had to wait in line for 5 minutes. Pretty good considering the rush. Ive been here several times before and the results are always the same. Clean store, helpful employees and quick check out times.

Went yesterday and decided for the first time to buy Sushi from this location. Bought 4 packages 1 had shells from the fish inside really nastyI will not buy Sushi from any HEB from now on.

I mean its H-E-B. You cant go wrong with anything they have to offer. Love my H-E-B.

The employees at HEB are always incredibly helpful, cheerful, and even empathetic. If they dont have something, just ask any manager and theyll order it!

Full lines, lighting is to low, shelfs needs cleaned attention. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Store in general needs a new facelift.

Clean grocery store. The fresh produces are looking really good. Compare to other places. And they have so more.

The parking lot is under construction and is a disaster. We stopped here after going to schlitterbahn and had a very hard time navigating through the parking lot.

Even though there was shortage of certain items, customers were pleasant, and respectful, great job HEB off of Walnut.

Everyone knows that HEB is the place to go. Like just now, it was decently crowded due to the Thanksgiving holiday coming up next week. Plus there slogan says it all Here Everything is Better. nuff said.

Like all stores they shift stock to make you look in hopes they will sell you something else. Frustrating then nobody to ask where it was moved

Super crowded and weird layout. It looks as if it is about to under go a major renovation and half the parking lot is under construction. Its still HEB and still the best grocier in the country.

Very friendly atmosphere. Well stocked under the circumstances. The pharmacy department is outstanding and a pleasure getting my prescriptions there. The staff there are super! Produce department is well managed in presence and products. Wish the bakery department would have smaller portions/count for one or two people, ie, cinnamon rolls 4 count,waste not want not, lol

Store is always clean, staff is helpful. Issue is with Coca Cola company. They seem to have a problem at all locations in the area at stocking sufficient 12oz products other than regular 🙄 coke. Diet Coke, Coke Zero, Caffeine free products have been out of stock for months. Not only HEB, also Walmart.

So Much better than I expected during a crisis! The parking lot was completely FULL, and the store was incredibly packed with people at 8am but HEB was not allowing people to panic buy. They have set posted limits so the rest of us can buy what we need as well. The Friendly and Helpful staff were taxed with what I could see, never ending lines and staff continuously stocking shelves. Hats off to a great Texas company and its tireless workers!!!! You have my familys patronage for life...Thank You😀
