I needed contacts and they were able to schedule me a appointment same day. The lady at the desk was both friendly and competent. The optometrist makes you feel comfortable while doing the eye test.

Not a pleasant experience. The worse place to buy eyeglasses. I do not recommend it because they cannot make a progressive prescription. They broke my lenses. I got my frame back painted and without the glasses. Do you imagine!!

The website said they closed at 6pm do we got there and they said they closed at 5 because of the holiday even though it’s not even a holiday yet. Also it was 4:55 when we got there and they already closed their register and basically closed. Also we went for the $30 sale and they had like 7 pairs of glasses out of 40 left. Horrible job because they were being snappy and kinda rude. I don’t recommend them. Have a happy holiday

I thought I was dealing with a reputable eye care place until I took my 3 month old glasses in for a repair. They refused because I didnt purchase the optional extended warranty. Every other eye care facility I have dealt with in over 40 years of wearing glasses has had a 1 year warranty. Pennys takes hundreds of dollars of insurance and customer money and wont even stand behind its product for more than a month. Never again.

I should really take a look of the review... I went to this place for glasses prescription, the doc took only 5 min to check and give me a yellow sheet as prescription. It look more like a receipt than prescription. I asked, she said thats a prescription. So I took it to Costco optical, they wont take it, it missing the doc signature, it even doesnt have my full name, just initial. The guy in Costco is kind enough to give me a fax number and said just let the doctor to fax the prescription to them and they will make sure its ok. So I called back the JCPenney Optical, the girl answered the call is very rude and all she said is no, they only provide the yellow sheet, and I can only pick it up. When I asked her to fax it to Costco, she said no, you have to come in person to pick up the yellow sheet which I know it wont work

My Mother broke her lens and we brought it into the Christiana Mall location (where she bought the glasses in the first place). They had them fixed within 3 minutes at no charge. Kudos to the ladies who were there working!!!

Very un.professional. This was the first time Id been there in two and a half years. Had an appointment and they were taking walk-ins ahead of me. The only professional there is the actual doctor. She found out I had an appointment and the clerks were putting the walk-in charts ahead of mines and she corrected that. They never answer the phone. And one of the clerks told me that they couldnt look my information up until they turned the lights on at 10 minutes to 10.

Hi my name is Mike. I went to lens crafters in the mall there was two people in their store and it seemed like they didnt want to help me. I went into Jc pennys and went to their optical department because I needed the bottom of my glasses re-strung and a new nose piece put on. They were very close to closing they took me anyway. The ladies were all very nice, professional and fast. They replaced both nose pieces, re-strung my lenses and cleaned my glasses for me. All under 10 minutes. My future stops will be here from now on. Thank you so much for taking care of me.

Bi-focal glasses were measured wrong and it has been more than 4 weeks for me to get my glasses. Be aware of mistakes!

The girls were helpful and knowledgable I left with 3 awesome pairs of glasses.

The girls who work here are very helpful and I walked out with 2 pairs of glasses for a great price.

Understaffed. I went there and found a cute pair of glasses. I say down and waited and waited. To top it off, the associate took a customer that came in after me! I dont recommend this place

If I could give them less than a one I would they gave me the wrong prescription in my contacts refused to change it and the glasses they gave me the focus is off. So much money wasted

Got an eye exam in May, which took about 6 minutes. July came and I needed an emergency pair of glasses, I had to go to lens Crafters, because it was a Sunday morning. Here I am 2 mths later, still unable to see out of my glasses. She gave me an entirely too weak prescription, I am unable to get another eye exam or pair of glasses for 2 years due to my health insurance. Finally fed up, I called today to lodge a complaint with jcp, they said I can not because the doctor is independent. I called the dr office and the lady who answered, Aubrey had every excuse why the Dr was right and I was wrong. Dont waste your time or money, go somewhere else.
