I absolutely love the Vision Center of Delaware, all its staff and Dr. Amy Farrell! I have been going to this Center for more than 15 years, and was very happy with every visit. Dr. Farrell was instrumental in making a diagnosis of a big problem with my vision and sending me to surgery specialist. She is always very attentive and very thorough in her examinations. In addition, Vision Center provides fantastic help with prescription glasses, making sure everything fits and adjusted as it should be. Thank you!

I have been a patient here for many years. I was always pleased with customer service and had complete confidence in the professionalism of my care. When current management (Amy Farrell, et al) took over the practice, I saw that professionalism rise to a new level of excellence. I also experienced a new personalism (if that is a word) applied to my care that has grown and continued with every visit from the clerical staff up to the incredibly detailed care of my vision.
You will get billed through your medical insurance instead of your vision insurance for a routine eye exam that every other vision center performs. You’ll get a very apathetic doctor that explains nothing to you. You better off researching at Dr. Google. Be aware of what you sign! You’re not a specialist just because you referred a patient to a specialist, it’s simple like that. So why charge as a specialist? Dr. Farrall is of no help and shows little care or concern for the patient. well said.

A piece broke off of my new glasses and I took them in for repair. The eyeglass specialist ordered me new frames. They came in over night and in less than 24 hours I was wearing my new glasses again. Excellent and courteous service!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Got me through my exam quickly and answered all my questions. When my insurance company had a mixup on my order, they called to keep me updated so I wasnt left in the dark but got it squared away as fast as they could. Definitely happy with this place and will be going back.
Its hard to believe the glowing reviews. It is more likely the Vision Center manager either posts phony reviews herself or gets others to do so.Absolutely go the Vision Center of Delaware if you dont mind having to go back 3 or more times to have your glasses fitted properly.Untrained and non-caring staff. They have lost a lot of good employees over the many years we went to the Vision Center.We got our last glasses from Costco. I did not have to return for any adjustments. Costco will also replace a scratched lens within one year of purchase. You cannot beat the price and customer service at Costco.
Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. staff. Facility is conveniently located, with good parking. I have been a patient for years, just getting annual checks. However I recently had a problem needing attention and was able to get an appointment easily.

I came to get new prescriptions for my glasses and decided never to come back. The receptionist was very rude when I asked about the insurance coverage. After answering my questions in a very condescending way, she turned away before I even got a chance to follow up.The technician was incompetent. After failing to take my blood pressure, she brushed if off and told me I didnt need blood pressured taken since You look healthy.My interaction with the doctor (Stella) was fine until the end when I asked her what my prescription was. She told me it was different with my current one but refused to tell me what the new one was. She basically said You will see it later at checkout. Or do you want me to read it out to you? After I told her I wanted to hear it from her, she still didnt want to tell me what it was, she said Well, I can tell you that it is worse. After I asked the third time, she finally told me and asked Does it make sense?. I wondered why she thought the two simple numbers in the prescription wouldnt make sense to me. It was definitely very strange.I definitely wanted to discuss the results of my eye exam with the doctor and not the receptionist.I will never go back.

These guys will rob you off your money.They provided wrong power after contact lens fitment and charged $110, even after having insurance, which actually can be done for $17 elsewhere.They say they accept insurance, but they have their own terms of copays, which is very high as compared to other service providers like Simon Eye.Even after taking such money they provided wrong power which was cause for months of headache..sadly...Beware...
