Absolutely would not recommend this place for anyone who is trying to move furniture from one place to another. They stole my 32 inch TV and refused to pick up the call when I called multiple times about it. They said they would get back to me but it’s been 4 1/2 weeks. I really to love this company but I can no longer put my business here. 0/5 if it were possible but google is too kind

Do not use this company! [UPDATE: THEY STOLE THE MOST EXPENSIVE ITEM] They are impossible to get a hold of, especially after they inconvenience you. They are completely unorganized, unprofessional, and sketchy (they request half the payment in cash upon delivery ...) . I was promised a pick up between 8 and 10 in the morning on a Monday. At 9:50 am, I received a call saying they would not be able to pick up my things that day, not even that afternoon. To have received this call after waiting around for two hours was frustrating enough, but they couldnt even do the same day? I asked the woman on the phone about potential discounts and she said she would look into it for me. After leaving multiple (>5?) voicemails, because they do not allow you to go on hold, I still received no response and not even an explanation that a discount wouldnt be possible. That was last week and I have yet to receive a call. I grew up in the NJ area and you better believe I am telling every one I know to avoid this company at all costs! The movers themselves were fine, but I would not take the gamble with the business-end of this company; they are unprofessional and will not be accommodating. Delays happen, I understand, but to ghost a customer who is attempting to get in contact is pathetic.

The worst company! Cross Country move from New York to Phoenix, AZ! 20 days to get my things. If you could see how they pack your things on the truck with no care at all you would not book them at all! Total Rip-off and a racket! I was quoted $1600 almost $2700 later they left my thing on the side of the road in the heat . I’m not one to write a review but if this helps one other person from going through what happened to me.

This company should NOT be doing business. AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS! I reached out to them about a move and they sent me an estimate immediately. I thought that was a good sign. Unfortunately, thats all they did right. They did not show up when they said they would to pick up my furniture etc. and they didnt deliver the most expensive item they took. And now they refuse to return phone calls. I should have checked the Better Business Bureau before hiring them. They are NOT BBB accredited even though they have the BBB insignia on their communications!

I cannot stress enough how horrible of an experience my move was because of this company. It was a very simple move from a 1 bedroom apartment to another 1 bedroom apartment a few cities away. Half of my stuff got lost and ended up in the wrong city. After a week of trying to get someone on the phone to tell me where my stuff was I was told “relax, it’ll get there when it gets there”. When I finally got the other half of my stuff it was partially damaged and a lamp was missing. In addition to all this the movers were quite rude to my elderly grandmother who is hard of hearing, and at one point basically told her to get out of their way or grab a box. Totally uncalled for and unprofessional. I urge you not to hire these guys and hope your move can be more pleasant than mine was.

Not recommended, I used this company to move across states. First off they were hours late picking my stuff up as scheduled. I was estimated about 3 to 8 days for a delivery and I received it 2 months later!! I was nothing but patience and calm and all I got was one excuse after another. I called for updates and wouldn’t hear back for days and when it was finally time for delivery they were hours late with no updates so I spent the whole day waiting. Drivers we’re unprofessional, unprepared and rude!

The only thing I had to do was to let them in and they took care of everything else. The moving team was very fast and at the same time very careful with my belongings. They packed all my belongings so carefully and took down the huge furniture down so easily, which by the way I thought would be impossible. Nothing was damaged and their rates did not change in the end. Overall very happy with the move.

I was introduced to Steve Bell the salesman for NJ Transport by another friend who did have a good experience. Steve is courteous, friendly, and eager to gain your business before you sign. He provided a great quote using a document another company provided me which included a binding quote and was inclusive of a visual inspection. We wound up with less items as we had sold some, so we assumed our cost would remain stagnant or possibly go down on the actual moving day. We were very Wrong. They almost doubled our quote. After arguing with the owner Oren he took off $500 of the $1400 overcharge. Salesman Steve is missing in action at this point as he doesn’t answer the phone when you need him, but calls back at random inopportune times. My stuff comes rather promptly (less than a week) with items missing, items broken, stained rugs covered in grease, and everything haphazardly stacked in a different truck than was originally used. In other words “completely mishandled”. I haven’t finished unpacking, but I have no faith they’ll make anything right. I just hope someone reads this and goes with another company. These people are actual scum.

I was painfully thorough to ensure cost remained stagnant. You’re $500 discount was to get me off the phone while my stuff was held hostage on your truck. You still talked on almost an extra 50% on top on my estimate and couldn’t even get all of our stuff to us.So I’m not sure what you were looking to point out with your response on my precious review, but now people will know the truth. Do not use their full pack option. They bring a ton of boxes that they fill at best to 55-60%. This causes a bunch more boxes than originally planned and skyrockets your bill. If you have no choice but to use these crooks, pack your own things and create an itemized inventory. Really bad I would pack my own Uhaul before using them again.

Words are not enough to praise New Jersey Transport inc Moving Company. This company was just amazing when I hired them to move our belongings last week. They quoted very reasonably and that’s why we hired them. But they gave us real value for that money. The movers were all very strong and efficient. The entire move went very smoothly without any problems. The delivery was made right on time and nothing was damaged.

I am pleasantly surprised that everybody working in this moving company is polite, diligent and well mannered. When we called the customer service, they answered us requested to call us back. I actually thought he would not call back but within 10 minutes he did and our move was scheduled to take place a couple of weeks later. I am glad for the great service.

The price was reasonable (not outrageous like most moving companies), very flexible (change my move date a few times due closing date changes), they were extremely knowledgeable no broken furniture or walls and easy to work with. I was impressed on how well they worked as a team and I was surprised on their attitude and demeanour.
