It really is a pleasure to deal with a business that sells quality cars and the owner has integrity. My wife and I had the pleasure of purchasing a 2011 Toyota Camry from Jennings a few weeks ago and the car has been exceptional. Thats not even the best part. My wife and I went in look at the car and Mr. Jennings quoted us a price because we was trying to get exact number for a bank loan. We secured the loan and I called Mr. Jennings back to let me know and he informed me the quoted price was wrong and the car was in fact cheaper. Talking about integrity. Great owner, great business

My 2003 honda been giving me problems since the month after purchasing it last year. Nice guy but then again I knew something was funny. Overpriced especially for all the cosmetics and nonstop work I had to get done with the car. I’m selling it now because it’s too too much

We bought our Traverse 9 months ago right after I had my baby. In that time frame we had to replace the engine and now this past weekend the transmission went out. We had to replace the cluster in the dash because it was tampered with so the check engine light wouldnt come on..which was another $600. Now we have to come up with $5800 for a transmission. We bought an extended warranty from Bobby for $1800 but the company is a joke and will find any reason not to cover repairs. Now Im stuck making payments on a car I cant afford to get fixed.

I visited this establishment as they were the closest Budget Truck Rental around me. Big mistake. It is just a little used car lot mainly. My move was nearly 600 miles (yes, six, zero, zero) from VA to OH through the mountains and toll roads with my car in tow. I was given the biggest POS truck. As the lady scribbled ALL OVER the damage log I cracked a joke...Pretty convenient when EVERYTHING is damaged, huh?...She gave a half-laugh and I proceeded to think, at least the car dolly was pretty new so not to put MY car in jeopardy. On to this lovely truck...Had 200,000 miles, was nowhere near white anymore, and the front end felt as though it was going to fall off with every bump. Now you are probably thinking, Why not just take it back and get another?. Well, the other truck they had looked worse, and it really didnt show its true colors until it was loaded up and on the freeway. Longest 13 hours of my life trying not to kill myself and others keeping it on the road. Couple that with the roaches I saw crawling around in the cab the next day....I wondered if something was crawling on my legs during the nighttime portion of the journey...Stay away from this place, unless you are only going a few miles and plan to beat the living you-know-what out of the trucks...they obviously could care less.

I have dealt with Bobby and known his dealership for years. He deals in high-end luxury automobiles that are pre-owned. All of his inventory is well-vetted and competitively priced. I would totally recommend this dealership.

Reserved a 26 foot moving truck months in advance of my move from Jennings Auto. I called a week in advance to confirm that everything was good to go. Was reassured by the manager that the reservation and truck would be there ready for me. I got a phone call 3 days before my move, already stressed about the move, to be told that the 26 truck is not available but a 16 was. I told them that I called to confirm a week ago and made reservations months in advance. She responded that the inventory changes from week to week. Does a reservation not count for anything?! I was quite upset and had to call the east coast regional manager to get any useful help. Corporate Budget was very nice and helpful. They gave me free miles and extra time since I was going to have to make multiple trips with a smaller truck. Not a perfect solution but I am an understanding guy. Bobby (manager of Jennings Auto) made nothing but sly remarks during my whole transaction. Stating I was basically stealing from him because of the deal I got. He gave me nothing but an attitude. When it came time to sign the contract I noticed that my extra time, give by corporate, was not on there. When I asked about it he just smiled and said that he would charge me for a other day of I brought it in late. He pretended to know nothing about the extra time but I saw on their screen that corporate did indeed put in the request. I was so fed up I just worked through the night to give back the truck within 24 hours. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS PLACE! If you are moving, you are already stressed. Dont let something like a moving truck add to the frustration and stress.

While vacationing in VA, we found our daughter a red 2002 (ad said 2003) Jeep Liberty priced at $2900. Due to the meeting place & the fact that Morgan didn’t have a title available, things seemed sketchy to us. We took the Jeep to Corey’s auto repair to get looked at. The rear bushings were shot (non passable), the muffler was cracking down the center (non passable), & the ball joint was leaking (passable but in need of service soon). The mechanic said it was still a good buy but Morgan apologized & seemed like she wanted to leave. We told her we were still interested. Morgan called her dealership & they said they would make the repairs and sell it at the original listed price. We said we wanted it. She sent us a pic of it “being repaired”. Then she texted and said the repairs were too costly and she needed to up the price. We said we would be willing to purchase it with the 2 repairs done (not the ball joint). She asked for a non Refundable deposit. We told her we for sure wanted it, but felt uncomfortable with the non refundable deposit. We called the dealership to make sure Morgan was a real employee there and to get their hours. Morgan had said to meet at 4 that day to buy the car. The owner verified she worked there and said they closed at 4 so morgan’s meeting time didn’t work. He assured us the car would be ready at 2 and that he was surprised she had asked for a non refundable deposit. Later morgan texted us saying her father mistakenly sold the car (from the repair shop) while she was out of the office!! We were very upset and asked her to explain to the guy who was purchasing it. She wouldn’t. The next morning the owner accidentally called us before business hours and hung up. My hubby called him back to talk to him about the situation. . Bobby was very rude and told us it was before business hours and that he was doing us a courtesy even talking to us ... to come back later, and to buy cars like everyone else does (look at a car, pay cash, & drive it away). Good advice if everyone is honest, their inspection sticker actually reflects a ligitimate inspection, and a refundable deposit is asked for instead of a non refundable deposit asked for before repairs are done.!!

Hello,I purchased a car in winter 2011. It took a while to write this review because the site was under construction for a while, then I forgot about it. The car selection and price was great; however, communication between the owner and wife was a bit unpleasant. I would advise anyone that purchase a car here to get everything in writing including any promises Mr. Jennings makes to you. He went back on some of his words and then tried to talk circles around me. He got frustrated with doing business with me, which showed a lack of customer service skills. He was rude at times in tone and with words. IF he promises to do things to your car, he will choose the cheapest route, which is expected I guess. He put new tires on my car without getting the tires balance or with an wheel alignment, which caused the Capitol tire to have a leak in one tire. He put new brake pads on almost worn down rotors, which leaves to car squeaky when braking. He sold the car with two speakers busted; however, recommended me to one if his guys, but went back on his word to get them fixed. One of the keyless entry keys to the car barely worked. A mechanic at Brake King told me that key should not be this loose. He does not like to negotiate much; BEWARE!Lastly, he sold me a car without a carfax, Toyota manual, nor a maintenance book, which I failed to check prior to driving off the lot. He suggested that I could go to Toyota and get them. I still am without a maintenance book.Overly, I gave this rating based on my experience. I am happy with my car purchase; however, the lack of customer service and reliability was not so great.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER SEEVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. I dealt with the owner (which he will repeat numerous times, to let you know he is in charge). I set a reservation for a Budget Truck Rental for 9am, I was late picking it up, I pulled in at 9:12am. Upon entering, he asks for my ID, and proceeds to tell me how lucky I was because somebody else wanted to rent my truck, and since he is a business man he was going to give it to them. He informed me he had called to confirm our reservation (during the packing, I wasnt even aware I had set my phone down somewhere and hadnt seen it in a few hours) and since I didnt answer, he didnt want to lose money because he didnt care what I had going on, he is a business man. I was caught off guard and apologized for missing the call, I also informed him I was happy my truck was there because I didnt care about the other person who wanted to rent it. I thought it would be a shared laugh between us, it was not. He continued saying how he was more than willing to give it to the other person. He then offered us a seat, saying we were making him nervous. My mother was up looking at his model cars, and reassured him there was nothing in his office she would take and no need for him to be nervous. He continued to talk about the other possible renter, at this point I am thoroughly confused as to why it is still a topic. I was getting aggravated, and decided I could go across the street to Uhaul, even though Budget was cheaper by $150. My mom calmed me down and recommended I get my husband to come in and finish the transaction. I took her advice because I am 5 months pregnant and in the middle of a big move, I didnt need the stress. When my husband ( who is a pretty good size guy) entered, the mans whole tone changed. I think this is what made me the most annoyed. Here is the kicker, once I found my phone, I see I hadnt even received a call, so all the extra talking the man did was pointless. Lol. I wish I had read the reviews before even setting my reservation, lesson learned. PS: if you are still on the fence because of the 3.6 score, the lady Brenda who left the first review with 5 stars, is also the lady who posts vehicles for the company on Facebook, so you can basically omit her review.

I experienced the worst case of BATE AND SWITCH Ive experienced in a long time. This company also has a Budget Truck Rental franchise. They did not have 10 or 12 box trucks. I visited the eve. before to check on availability. They were very accommodating b4 they got my deposit. I was told by Bobby he was the owner and would allow me to rent any truck for the $20 advertised for box trucks. I took $150 deposit over the next day, I was offered a 15 and asked him to confirm in front of Cynthia, the receptionist so there would be no misunderstanding. The next morning I returned the truck early in the AM and expected my deposit minus the cost. First the internet was out. I left, came back, and the internet was still down. I requested at least a hundred of my money back. After making my case of how bad for business that was, I was given a hundred. I left and was finally called an hour later. When I went back for the 3rd time for my money, I learned that I was charged standing rate for 15 foot truck with a 20% disc. as opposed to the box truck rate with online disc. I was offered. The receptionist tried to dismiss me after I discovered the discrepancy, and I called her on it. I went back later to speak to the owner and he used the earlier confrontation as an excuse to keep my money w/o hearing my version of the situation. He could care less since it was intentional from the start. RUN SOMEPLACE ELSE!
