This was my 2nd visit to this IKEA store. It is so fun to go through the showroom and look at all the ideas. I ended up buying a couple of chairs and some knickknacks (including the cool wooden bendable hand). I was also very impressed that they had a gender neutral bathroom.

We are frequent shoppers in this store and the women bathroom has never looked this terrible like it did this past Saturday. I hope they havent lost the good people they had working there

Enjoyed our time coming here just recently. There were a lot of sales going on, we even got a nice little side table for $9.99. This location’s pretty neatly organized as far as IKEA goes but they were missing a good number of their inventory that’ll hopefully be stocked back up soon! Definitely coming back here again but on a mich earlier time so we can also get food!

Looking at the outside you would never know its as big as it is. This store is amazing regardless what state you are in. Thank you Ikea I bought a desk and a new cart for all my crafts.

The supply and choices are overwhelming! Quality furniture at reasonable cost, directions are…well, not accompanied by written instructions, only pics which is a little frustrating.

Rating is for pickup experience. It was absolutely terrible. The lady literally told a cancer patient that they had to help load and they would have to get out and help load even if they didnt have legs. She was snippy about it too.Anyway, you have to get out, even in the rain, to scan some qr code because they dont just kave numbered spaces and a phone number like every other store Ive ever seen. This could be an easy area for improvement...especially the attitude of the employee.

What does every married couple love to do, but spend their child free night looking for bookshelves. Everything was clean and neat, it was not overly busy, and the staff is friendly. The stock was low but we found what we were looking for, and some meatballs too!

We found 2 side tables for our game room for $9.99 each...live plants were reasonably priced and there was so much organization! If youre a regular Ikea shopper youre probably wondering why I didnt know this already but I had never been. This is a great store for home design and decor if youre looking for exotic and budget friendly items!

One of if not the best furniture store around. Lots of staff and they all know what they are doing. I also like the Swedish food they have scattered around. 9/10. It gets busy sometimes.

Awesome shopping experience. Just remember to do upstairs 1st. We made mistake and have to check out to go upstairs, but still great. Loved the way they show ways to incorporate items.

This is my first time at Ikea. Not sure why I was expecting more out of Ikea. In general, you can get anything you need for your house here. However, if youre looking for quality, this place might not be where you want to shop. Today I discovered that I can get similar or better products to the ones sold here for much cheaper price online. This place is still worth visiting if youve never been here before.

Very big Ikea (compared to Los Angeles). This Ikea is the size of the one in Las Vegas. Lots of selection, lots of options... however the popular items are not well stocked and sold out often. Like Linnmon table (corner), Micke, etc. Items in the $100-199 range and $15-35 range seem to be sold out.

First time at Ikea! It was great!!Im glad we ate first though, because by the time we walked through, looked at all the merchandise and room set ups, we had been in there almost 5 hours!! The cafeteria had closed! In fact as we were checking out, we saw and smelled their delicious cinnamon rolls etc... that they sell right across from the check out counters....our plan was to buy a couple and get another awesome cup of coffee...but sadly, they closed right before we got checked out....BUT...they sell frozen packs of the cinnamon rolls, so we grabbed a bag and took them home....they were sooo good, but I imagine they are even better in the store!Earlier we tried their famous swedish meatballs and they were great! I must say, My absolute favorite item from the cafeteria though was their fountain drinks!! I tried the Raspberry....Honestly, I have never tasted anything better!! It is hard to explain how good it was....it is nothing like the flavored Shasta sodas...and I used to love Shastas Wild Cherry, Strawberry, and Cream Soda.....but Ikeas Raspberry is different...it is just 100% amazing!! I wish they sold cans or bottles of that...and trust me, I looked for it!!And of course Ikeas furniture, storage items, candles, decor, everything is great!! Absolutely loved it!!

Decided to go with my mom here for her first time. I have visited the Atlanta and dc locations so I knew what to expect. My mom thought it was a great idea and time. Got the meatballs for lunch, moms got salmon. Hit the spot

Disappointed that most items were out of stock & the sale people had no clue about the items being out of stock. I asked for something specific and was told it was on the 1st floor, of which is was not. Then another salesperson said it was on the 2nd floor which the associated items were located but of course the 3 items I was looking for were conveniently out of stock. Our store in Atlanta is way better organized and their salespeople actually know where the items are located!Get better training and the salespeople need to know what is in stock before running the customer all over the store looking for non-existent items.We also looked for a metal laundry cart and surprise, surprise...none of the 3 colors were in stock, even though both the salesperson and their very own IKEA computer said all colors were in stock!C-mon and get your act together. This was the least amount of money we ever spent in an IKEA store!!Very disappointing!! Do better next time and youll be amazed at the amount of return customers you will have!

Well I went to buy a bed frame...first if ask for help you have to do everything by your self...then when I went to my house to assemble the bed...I have to purchase another thing for the mattress..I dont know why the make everything so complicated...they should sell everything for you to assemble the bed..so you can use it right away...and you dont know until you assemble it...the instructions awful...they put interrogation symbols so you have to figure it out by your self...that you have to buy...the bottom parts apart to be able to sleep on it...the store in Norfolk was amazing but the should help you more...🤔😒

I wanted to buy a bench. I saw the exact same bench as displays in 3 or 4 different sections. I went to the warehouse to get the product, but it wasnt there. I was told by a rep that the item had been discontinued. The item had been discontinued but they dont sell those displays. It was really disappointing.

Great place to shop, has all the conveniences for families with kids

The people working here are so nice. We were looking for closets and chest of drawers and actually went here 3 days in a row. After doing the design your own closets and storage units which everyone was so helpful with, we also looked at all the other furniture. 4 pieces were needed and we finally came to what is absolutely perfect. We had help finding the right rooms to look at because some furniture can be used in a variety of ways. Explaining what we were trying to do and how important maximizing the availability of storage for what we wanted was heard and several ideas were given. Also making sure every part was ordered, the delivery date was set up and options for color, material and so forth. This place is huge and is easily overwhelming and takes hours to go through. But once you know how to get around and stick to what your there for it makes it easier. Thank goodness for the food court or I dont think we would have made it!

We ordered from IKEA and got our items delivered; this was a mistake. The company they used were rude, damaged our drive way and left a fully wrapped pallet on our drive way. We had to ask them to let us move our car.

I will always love how much stuff is packed into this store and how many different types of things youll find. Even if it does get confusing, its fun to explore. I do recommend putting aside 3-4 hours if you plan to walk through the whole store

Its a large store. They have different room ideas for small homes/apartments. Also ideas for extra storage space. It has contemporary furnishings. Not my style, but if that is your style, this is the place for you. It also has some eclectic pieces, a very modern style. Be ready to do a lot of walking.

I love this place. It is well laid out and now they even have full kitchen selections. I love their organizational system for purchasing items as well. It is very efficient.

I enjoy the store and the products. Their products are nice looking and modern. I enjoy putting the furniture together after purchase. They have a wide selection of home goods and furniture including things for pets and collaboration with the local pet shelter. The restaurant has some good food and a nice view.

For those who are unfamiliar with the IKEA legacy--Think Euro-chic, small spaces--minimalist in contrast to typical American furniture superstores... Clean lines, under-stuffed... Smooth, polished surfaces of black, white, gray and stainless steel... Industrial versus natural finishes...Quality is uniformly good--not excellent, but solid and very good value for the money. Lots to see in a lengthy yet negotiable maze. Think art museum-like...Allow plenty of time for your first visit!

Great IKEA! We went on a Monday and it wasnt busy, highly recommend a Monday visit! The cafeteria was great as well! Some of their inventory is a lil low (since like everyone else they are having trouble getting some shipments) but still awesome. Definitely a place you can spend a lot of time.

I’m that guy who really loves tiny homes. Coming here you can expect to see plenty of really great layouts and examples of how to layout spaces. All of it is wonderful.Along with that there are great Swedish meatballs and all sorts of other things you can eat for a ridiculously great price.The layout can be a bit hard to get used to though. Definitely still worth the trip regardless. Also, a great place to get your steps in.

Ive been hearing about this place for years but this was my first visit there. It was AMAZING!!! I saw so many interesting things and got so many ideas. Prices are great...and the options for variety are limitless. I definitely will be going back.

The prices here are ridiculously low and some items are of good quality despite of the price.

Was really upset that my 1st visit here was not a good experience. Workers would point you in the direction and tell you were to make a right or left, but never offered to show you. Then when its time to close, no one wants to help you finalize your order.....they just sit and stare at you. I was not happy with this visit! But the prices seemed very reasonable.

Ordered 2 chairs went to pick up. They couldnt find my order at checkout.. but they made me feel special because the put a team member on my order like a detective.. THANK YOU ALL

We needed a few things while we were near an Ikea. I did the click collect and it was easy peasy! I think we waited 2 minutes to get our sizeable order. Thanks for the good customer service!

The bathrooms are always clean, very clean and workers are available all you have to do is look for them. They are all very helpful and accommodating to customers. The food is great in the food court, very taste and healthy for adults and children. You always have those folks who you can never please. If they saw the truth and read it, it will be interpreted the wrong way. Maintain your wonderful customer Service. Keep on Trucking.

It’s an IKEA. It was clean and organized. Many things were out of stock which is understandable but there were also things that were in stock in the store but shown as out of stock or unavailable on the app. That’s disappointing because it would be a time saver to be able to order and pick up. I wish they had more shortcuts in the store because sometimes you forget something and have to go back and walk through a large portion of the store.

This was my first time here since they opened and I loved it big roomie fun ideas and so much to see I cant wait to go back when I have more time to dive in and look at everything seems to me just from few thing I saw have great prices too

IKEA is an amazing place they always have the most cutting edge designs for saving space and shopping on a budget. The workers were super friendly and willing to help out with any questions. I love coming to this IKEA.

I could hardly wait for the store to open here because I loved the one in Woodbridge. I have purchased two hanging lamps, one for my bedroom and one for my dining room. They are beautiful and easy to install, even for me. Lots to choose from, I love the place.

I find that all IKEA stores are mostly the same. Really the only thing that can seperate them are people, product availability, and cleanliness. That being said the staff was helpful in assisting us locating a product, but the store (given it was a Saturday) was kind of a little more scattered than I would have thought normally. But honestly that might be nit picking, so a 2nd visit is warranted.

Convenient location off the highway and plenty of parking. Very nice selection and nice staff. Checkout was smooth and fast.

Ikea is always a great place to visit. Even if you aren’t getting any furniture. Just nice to stroll around. Staff are very helpful. We always ending getting some sort of kitchen utensil or snack and the snack bar.

Store is always so clean. They have such inspirational rooms set up. Cant wait to start remodeling my house

Covid is on the increase again, so I chose curbside pickup. I had about a 15 minute wait which was good. There were around 9 cars ahead of me. The lady was friendly, which is also a plus.

Very neat place. Would be 5 stars, but some of the staff is rude and many displayed items arent in stock and nobody seems to know where to find them.

Today was my first time ever being in an IKEA. I was really excited to finally shop there and was not disappointed at all. What an awesome place with very practical inexpensive furniture and home decor. Warning: its HUGE so dont go there in a hurry. Took us about 2 hours from start to finish and it could have taken more. Will be making many trips there in the future! Even our 7 year old and 4 year old enjoyed shopping there.

IKEA Norfolk is beautiful, clean, and friendly. They’ve recently started up their kid crafts again in take-home form and even the restaurant is open again! Great stock and their app is almost always correct w inventory. Also try their veggie dog at the checkout food place sometime. It’s a steal and it is actually a super sophisticated dawg...for literally 75 cents. I get it every time, plus their vanilla frozen yogurt or the ‘strawberry ice’ (froyo essentially). Thank you Swedes! (Also I’m sure you’ll be able to tell which photo is pre-pandemic)

I love this store no matter what State Im visiting. But no yogurt? That was the highlight of my shopping experience and this location failed me along with not having what I went there for. But its ok Ill be back

Yesterday we went to pick up a couch that came in three pieces and we’re told that we could leave one of the pieces for 24 hour pick up and all we would need was the receipt (which the lady gave massive attitude during and seemed like she didn’t want to be there) and then today my fiancé went to go pick up the last piece and because I was not present was not able to even though he had the receipt which we were told was all that was needed. So now he has to drive back so that i can go pick it up. Which is absolutely ridiculous and I’m super frustrated with their overall customer service. Furniture pick up is a no go from me and I will avoid it at all costs in the future even if it means paying $50 for shipping.

I just love this store! How it flows, how it’s set up with detail inside. Oh the food/restaurant is great, they even have ice cream and deserts!

The inside of the store hasnt changed much. The quality of the merchandise seems to have lowered. I heard several people remarking on the poor construction. In addition the click and deliver service was awful. The wait 6over 45 minutes. I would prefer to get the items from the shelf myself. The clerk advised they had suddenly been swamped. Consider having back up available at those times.

Friendly associates, unique finds of furniture and decor that are very esthetically pleasing. And they have awesome meatballs.

Love the inspiration here. My daughter furnished her first place from here. But mom and brother put everything together. Bonding time with the older kiddos.

Honestly didnt like this place at all. I guess it just was completely not what I expected it to be. Not that I should have expected it to be a certain way I guess but for being my first time here and walking into a showroom I guess they call it and one into another into another and trying to figure out how to actually purchase some items was confusing being I was new here . I somewhat figured things out on my own cuz I really didnt see many associates around to ask for help. They have some interesting items but nothing I will be rushing back for. I dont think I will go back again. It wasnt my idea of shopping

My shopping was a good experience. The store was not crowded. A friendly associate answered my questions and was very pleasant 😊There was a few short lines during checkout, and another one opened to keep the lines down.

Just as I remembered when I was back in Europe. Little smaller, but still a great place to plan out and get your house the way you want it to be. The membership is free and you get a free coffee for it. Along with that, very affordable pieces of furniture! (Some I do have questions for though, like the prices on basic tables). But at the end of the day, I do highly recommend this place.

Big overwhelming place with a HUGE selection. We went in for a desk lamp and it was a great adventure (in a good way). The lighting department has lots of options for desk, floor, hanging, shelf, clamp, accent lamps. We will be back again as we probably only saw 5% of the store.

Was told that Delivery drivers would call 30- 45 minutes before arrival.. missed Delivery received call when delivery was in front of location.. called customer service 3 days in a row.. each day at least 3hr hold.. then hangs up.. 3rd day finally got someone..only to be told nothing they could do over the phone... horrible experience....

Is a fun store! I think is a good place for starters. I still would prefer stronger quality furniture. Good for teenagers. I really liked the kitchen cabinets and how they managed to use every possible inch! Not a fan of cheap quality for less price.

The store itself is super cool. But actually finding what I was trying to buy was a hassle.

Ikea sells house decorations and furniture. The store is arainged so that you walk past everything the sell and them pick it up on your way out. Some assembly is always required. Its a little pricey for what you get but their sets do look good together. Staff was awesome on my visit today. The picture is of the waiver you have to sign to buy dangerous furniture like dressers.

I purchased several items for my sons room including a large wardrobe from off the floor. The sale associates were incredibly helpful with showing me my options. They also gave me a complete package with detailed information on several custom wardrobes. The sales associate finally gave me an option of purchasing the unit off the floor.I was very impressed with this departments customers service and would refer anyone purchase from Ikea in Norfolk Virginia.

Every time I come here at least 50% of the stuff I come for is out of stock. Also website prices did not match the prices in the store. Cashier ID 10073649 at register in “restaurant” was pretty rude as well so that was nice way to end the experience!

Everything I needed and wanted in one place...it was a totally positive experience. A dream come true. I had the time of my life. Great bargains, pretty merchandise, a One Stop Shopping experience. IKEA, I need you in my life.

Staffs are pretty helpful. Lots of items are in wrong places at the aisles and bins, though. Some items are out of stock all the time especially kids stuffs.

Curtain rods and accessories are much cheaper here than anywhere else

Came to Ikea for the first time. We were overwhelmed but as we walked around we were feeling good about the store and products.However I have to give a negative rating as far as customer service and support goes. We were interested in a TV stand however they had none left. So checked with the Info desk and was informed the product was discontinued. So we asked about the display unit and was told they are very busy and to come back on Moday. Asked another associate who gave us conflicting information that the product will be back by end of the month and check than.Dont have any work ethic or customer service, they are not willing to help! I checked online thinking I could order it and well guess what? It has been discontinued!!. They were not willing to communicate with other managers if we could have display, instead gave us the run around.They need proper training and learn how to have a better customer service.

Beautiful and New! Awesome Grand Opening ...Norfolk hit the jackpot with this one So happy we have our own IKEA!...have shopped there for years...home furnishings bedroom to rhe kitchen. My favorite is the restaurant inside...with delicious mearballs and other delights. And shout out to Sheila for holding my stuff!

So, if you use this service, just shut your car off, its going to be a while.

Had never been in one before and I was looking for a sofa which they were out of stock of. It took hours to walk this massive store but what a pleasant experience to be there

I purchased a shelving unit and I love it. The only problem was, when they brought it out of the warehouse,. they left it on the cart, put there arms up, and left. They didnt even ask if we needed help and the units very, heavy. It would have been nice if they asked us if we needed assistance.
