I will start with saying the people that work here are very nice and understanding that is why they got 2 stars versus 1 but their products are very low quality and quit expensive. We ordered all of our cabinets around April of 2020, we got our first delivery of 8 cabinets in July, the second delivery of 3 cabinets was in October, the third was in December with 3 cabinets and the last delivery arrived in January. The reason they stated for the delay was due to COVID which I guess I understand. The final delivery of cabinets were damaged when we received them and we decided that it would be easier to just glue them together as best we can rather than waiting another year for more cabinets. We were also sick of seeing the contents of our pantry on our dining room table for almost a year. We also had to reschedule the countertop installation several times. The insides and outside of the cabinets were different colors, the grays of the cabinets didnt match, the pullout drawers we ordered from them for our specific cabinets needed to be rigged to get them to fit by adding shims, and the pegs holding the doors together were visible and not painted all of which are seen in the pictures. One of the doors already has a chip in the paint and we have barely had them a month and we have been going very easy on them because we want them to last and not sure how long they will at this rate. I wanted matching cabinets for our master bathroom but that will not be happening. This was too much of an ordeal to pay 9000$ plus on them, we would have been better off going with the custom cabinet quote. Live and learn I guess.

Working to get a quote for our kitchen remodel was never so easy! Dealt with manager, Nicole, who is on point. Worked with us to redesign our kitchen maximizing space while keeping cost low. Ensured any discount from manufacturer was incorporated and based off our needs ensured proper contractor was selected for the job. Everyone at this store seems to care and will answer any question you have.

This place came highly recommended and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately theyre in the process of changing some of their inventory and most of their warmer wood tones are no longer available in any style.

I would not recommend this company for kitchen cabinets. It was for a very small galley kitchen in a condo. A preliminary diagram was completed between myself and the salesperson. The installer came to measure for himself and finalize the cabinets for this job. He sent them a couple of changes, but for reasons Im not aware of, the changes were not made and one of the cabinets delivered was too big for the space. The sink base cabinet was alright with some slight modifications to a filler size. The correct cabinet was ordered thru the installer and the store. No one from the store contacted me personally regarding this issue. I went to the store myself and spoke to different salesperson. He stated that they did an even switch for the cabinets, but I had purchased a 36 cabinet and the new one was only 30-I felt like I should have received a refund of the difference. He said that would not be done because my cabinet style was no longer on sale, which again, not my problem because it was not my mistake. He did state that they waived the restocking fee for the returned cabinet. I think he felt I should be grateful they did that for me, but why would I have to pay a restocking fee, for a mistake I didnt do! I just wanted to complete this job so I ended up buying another filler (my installer said he needed) and a marker and putty for scratches which is inevitably is necessary during assembling and installation. So I ended up spending @$50, but knew I would NEVER do business with this company again.P.S. I asked to speak to a manager, the salesperson said I could call corporate but they would refer me back to the store. Poor customer service after they get your money!

First, we had Cabinets to Go come out and estimate how much flooring we need along with matching trim. Our flooring guys saw the estimate and trimmed an easy third off of the list. The matching quarter round took two months to arrive and when we had surplus flooring and trim at the end Cabinets to Go wont take any of that back. This was our first time not using Lumber Liquidators, and it will be the last time we use Cabinets to Go. The Lumber Liquidators flooring is better, customer service is better, and they know what they have in stock. Oh, and Lumber Liquidators also allows you to return unused flooring and trim.

Im normally not one to make reviews, but feel that this company and its products are certainly deserving of my time to give them credit based off of the other reviews that are present for this store. Most of the time when people respond to surveys and post reviews its usually because their angry and their reviews are not truly objective; not often do the happy folks take the time to share their feelings. In those responses most of the customers expectations are unreasonable and their issues can sometimes be because of their own shortcomings and lack of understanding and knowledge.Our associate Nate was awesome, he was on point and really efficient in assisting us with choosing the cabinets and configuration to put together an impressive new kitchen for my wife and I. If you have the opportunity to work with Nate I highly recommend it. Im sure the others do a fantastic job as well, but Nates attention to our needs and continued follow up through our design and ordering in February to our cabinet delivery and pick up about a week later was exceptional. Thanks Nate for stellar service and assistance! Go see Nate.I must say that I was a little skeptical of the assemble yourself cabinet and the quality of how they are made. To my surprise I found that they are made of better more solid materials than the made to order cabinets from the big box stores and the pricing was better. I dont care for the fact that they are made in China, but the big box stores cabinets were also made there as well. The assembly was a breeze and in our case all the cabinets were fine, no damage, they were very well packaged and protected from this. The installation was flawless and everything fit perfectly. I contribute this to two things, our associate Nate who as already mentioned was awesome, and us providing exact measurements and details of our kitchen. In our interactions with Nate he expressed that most people had very crude dimensions and measurements available which make their jobs very difficult when designing. So provide good measurements and detailed drawings to ensure a trouble free cabinet install.All in all, this is a much better value than big box store cabinets for the price. Better quality in materials, plywood back and side panels versus press board backs and sides. If you are handy and a good do it your self-er, go see Nate and Cabinets to go. I was so happy to have found Cabinets-to-go during my kitchen remodel. I searched for cabinets at Lowe’s at first and every cabinet styled I picked out was costing me $7,000 and up. I was also so overwhelmed with the choices. I went to cabinets to go and was easily able to pick my kitchen design for a very reasonable price.

People at show room were friendly and helpful. Bought cabinets about a year ago when we received them we were told that if any were damaged not to bring them to the show room we had to call customer service and they would send us replacement parts that were damaged. Noticed one of the packages was torn and a door was scratched before we even loaded cabinets. Brought it to their attention but was told they could not do anything about it to call customer service and they would send us a new one. We called customer service and a year later we still have not received the new door. When we call we are told it is on back order. The cabinets themselves are good quality and easy to assemble. Only problem is trying to get damaged parts, if we ever do replace cabinets again, even as good quality as these are we will not purchase from here again because if damaged we are stuck with broken or scratched parts. A couple of our friends have seen our cabinets and asked about them because they ate replacing theirs. We told them not to buy from here because if damaged they will not get replacement parts and if you try to return you have to pay a restocking fee.

There were aspects of our cabinet purchase that were decent and some hiccups that have been very difficult and unfortunate with very little help from the Norfolk staff or corporate office. First, I made the mistake of not counting the cabinets myself and was shorted a cabinet. I had to purchase the missing cabinet again... my mistake for taking the salespersons word for it and lesson learned. Second, we always intended for our cabinets to finish at the ceiling... we reiterated this to our sales person... nonetheless we have a 5-6in. gap between the top of the cabinets and the ceiling...I would expect a designer to anticipate this and let us know we needed to revise our plan. The cabinets themselves seem mostly ok...some warped wood and tolerances are not as tight as I would expect. Soft close features work nice. Instructions were easy to follow. Lastly, Im still waiting on my quartz... the purchase order was messed up on the first install date and the 2nd install date is going to be cancelled because the slabs did not arrive to the installer as promised...and corporate office says all they can do is email the stone people...really??? Im irritated and disappointed. Ill definitely not use Cabinets to go again and will try East Front cabinets in norfolk for my next project.

I will not buy cabinets anywhere else. I’ve used cabinets to go several times and it’s the most welcoming environment with honest, fair prices. You will not find a better deal or better customer service. As long as Nicole Loving is running the place, don’t waste your time and money anywhere else.

After months of talking to a rep after ordering cabinets and an install and being told they were waiting to hear back from the installers ive already sold the house the cabinets were supposed to go into i try to get a refund and am told ill still owe them over 800 dollars in restocking fees because of their failure. And because their employee never processed what he was supposed to( the install i waited months to get a date for) that its somehow my fault they never finished taking care of what i ordered and asked for . This is beyond ridiculous besides the fact that everyone is having hard times an employee failure to arrange an install and lying to a customer about what the hold up is for months and then condescending and raising your voice to a customer especially as a manager when they ask for a refund due to your failure is beyond out of line i wouldnt recommend anyone trust this store

Horrible experience with this company. Went through their recommended installer and he came out and measured and sent the info to their designer. Ordered my cabinets in October and was told it would be 4 weeks to get, well 5 months later they arrived and when their installer came to put them in they extended about 2 inches into a doorway They ended up cutting door frame (house was built in the 20s so not a easy fix). Could never make the design work so the installer just stopped and put the blame on the designer who then blamed the installer. Neither would take responsibility. Its been over a year and they Never fixed the problem. would not return calls, company fine print nothing is their fault ended up paying someone else to get my kitchen together and not the way it was supposed to be. I would run away from this company. Horrible experience. Wish I had paid attention to their reviews

That lady in their office very rude and not polite at all. They did 2 mistakes with color and sizes I never heard sorry from her.After all papers were signed she Told me I need to pay more money. RUN FROM THEM! They are using BAIT AND SWITCH Tactic. Their quality of cabinets is sucks too . Clear plastic. No wood ever.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Make sure whatever they tell you is in writing. Even if you read the Terms and Conditions thats attached to your receipt, make sure you have them write down what they say and sign/initial it. My loss was not that great but its the principle and a loss is loss. Prior to purchasing the Jennifer All Inclusive Vanity I communicated with the manager who offered to extend the 25% sale they were having in July until August because they didnt have any new ones in the warehouse and expected new stock in August. Fine, I appreciated that. However, in hindsight there were a few red flags that should have caused me to STOP the transaction. Mind you, Im buying a new vanity...1st RED Flag - After I gave the manager my card to pay for the transaction, she stamps my receipt with Final Sale... I question her about this and she tells me I can return the vanity and pay a restocking fee per the Terms and Conditions attached to the receipt. I quickly read the terms and saw that it mostly pertained to special orders but because I took the store managers word that the vanity was returnable as long as the restocking fee was paid I bought the vanity. Thankfully, the store manager and another employee loaded the box into my SUV. When the vanity was removed from my SUV, 2nd RED Flag - the box had Returned... written on it and the box was not taped, rather the flaps were folded in. Since the vanity was not going to be installed right away and because I was under the impression I had 30 days to return, I didnt call the store until I was ready to install. My Master Plumber carefully removed the vanity from the box and 3rd RED Flag finds no hardware. The door handles I was told should have been taped inside the vanity. Now Im really starting to wonder/question whether this vanity had been sold to me as new BUT WAS NOT NEW. As much as I wanted the vanity to be installed the plumber showed me that the vanity would expose too much of the plumbing and would require, if I wanted it that bad, raising the plumbing so that it would be hidden behind the opened back of the vanity for a nicer look. Well it wasnt worth all that. I called the store to affirm if I could return the vanity and reiterated that manager told me I could return the vanity as long as I paid the restocking fee. I spoke to manager and told her about the missing hardware and that the box was not taped and had return written on it. She explained that they dont tape the boxes and that they are shipped that way (that didnt make sense, not so with Wayfair and Amazon), but Im returning so I thought no big deal. On the day of return, I hand her the receipt and she says you didnt tell me it had this on it referring to final sale, and I cant do anything about it. I respond that you didnt ask me what was on the receipt and when I called, you said I could bring it back! I contacted customer service and Ashley did try to help and I appreciate that too. Needless to say, I still have the vanity and wanted to let others know to BEWARE. Be really careful when you buy from here. Before you make the final payment or accept receipt of the merchandise, INSPECT, INSPECT, INSPECT and go with your gut if something doesnt seem/feel right.

I would not recommend this place. My wife and I ordered our kitchen from them and used their contractor Tim for the install. Tim was unresponsive when we tried to reach him and when we had a problem with the work being done he never came to look into the problem. He never came to see the finished product or see if we was happy with the work done. Stay far away from this location in Norfolk.

You will REGRET ordering from here. Absolutely horrible product, terrible service, and extremely unresponsive. This is at all levels- employees, manager, regional manager, and the national customer service team. Long list of downfalls in this experience - damaged pieces, the store took pieces from our order without consent, sent us a wrong cabinet, and said they delivered product when they didnt. On top of that they were very rude (again, at all levels) and did absolutely nothing to compensate this. Not worth the savings. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!! Sent us the wrong cabinets, we had missing cabinets that they never shipped with the original order, broken pieces came in the order & they forget to ship the replacements (we called a month later and found that out), and they even gave parts out of my package that were in the Norfolk warehouse when I was out of town. Impossible to work with the staff. Never get returned calls. 100% dissatisfied customer. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone. Read the reviews online. They speak for themselves.
