Ive never been to an eye doctor before visiting Envision so I honestly didnt know what to expect. Every single staff member I interacted with was very positive and confident. The technology they take advantage of is pretty incredible, and how they transcribe the information to give a thorough diagnosis on not just your glasses prescription, but how to really take care of your eyes. I got my first pair of glasses here and Id recommend going here to anyone, even if you dont think you need a prescription.

Envision Ghent got me right in to see them when I woke up with a very significant eye irritation and blurred vision. They did a very thorough exam, and Dr. Cassis did a great job of examining my eyes, while explaining all the white what she was finding, and what the issues might be. I am currently in her care, and very much appreciate their fine work and their fine operation. They are friendly, efficient and the office is clean, organized and well managed. A+!

It saddens me that after doing business with Ghent Optometry for over 10 years that I am forced to part way due to lack of patience, customer service, and In my opinion, discrimination. I have NEVER been treated so poorly or looked down on because of what I decided to purchase for MY well being. You CANNOT force a customer to buy a year supply of Contacts when you offer the option of a 6 month supply as well. Especially for a customer who alternates between eye glasses and contacts. Yesterday I called The office to inquire about a temporary trial due to my wallet being stolen and all of my funds were placed on hold. I was told that the Dr. Would personally give me a call back and that it should be no problem. About an hour later I received a call from the receptionist stating that if I wasnt going to purchase a year supply of contacts in the future they were unable to assist me. I stated to the young lady that a year supply would be too much for me being that I wore glasses as well and that Ive purchased a 6month supply before. She rudely responded well thats is what Dr Cassie is requesting and were all out of the trials. Which she told me that she had the trials a few seconds prior to speaking with Dr. Cassie. In my honest opinion customer service was very rude and unprofessional. Ive been dealing with the business for over 10 years and I have NEVER been treated the way that I was treated yesterday. Dr. Corey truly cared about all of his patient no matter their race or financial situation. I regret to inform you that Ghent Optometry has lost any future business with myself and family.

I have been a patient at this location for over 20 years with the previous doctor. I had no doubt that I wanted to continue my association with this office. Joyce was the only original staff still there. Her customer service over the years had been excellent as well as heart warming. Because of Joyce, I knew anyone else coming in would have the same welcoming attitude. Dr Cassie is extremely though with what she does. Then ladies at the front desk are also helpful. I am very happy trusting my eyes and sight with these ladies.

As a kid we went an eye dr. Same one for years. Adult = big box chains + coupons! Many different dr.’s. I went here and what a nice experience! Everyone was nice and professional. I haven’t had such a comprehensive exam that made me feel comfortable with the dr.s results in many years. Really tested everything and I was very happy here!

The staff were all friendly and professional and Dr. Cassis was friendly, knowledgable, and explained everything during the exam in a way that was easy to understand as well as checking to make sure I understood what she meant. If i had any complaint at all it would be that theres no parking specifically for their office, but that’s not their fault and is to be expected of 21st street. The office was very nice & clean. The staff members were very friendly. Wide variety of frames to pick from. I was given detailed explanations about the condition of my eyes. The reason I gave 4 stars is because test where ran on my eyes that was not covered under my insurance that I was not made aware of upfront, so when the eye exam was done I had a big fat bill to pay. I would have appreciated if i was told that certain test on my eyes were going to be performed that arent generally covered under the insurance so that I could have declined that part of the exam. I had to call back & ask for a itemized receipt because I didnt get one upon leaving the appointment. Other than that, this is a great place to go to!

The office seem to operate off of memory, instead of their records. They told me multiple times that they didnt have my glasses frames in their office, only after insisting the frames were at there store, did they take the time to look for them and find them. This was just one of many instances where their lack of communication within the office caused stress on me. I like the doctor, but I think the office is still figuring things out.

I love these girls and place! It had been a few years since I was able to get back into the eye doctor and when I came to Envision they were awesome. This is a great place to go for glasses and many optical needs. Joyce is the reason I started going to this locale, a colleague’s glasses were so awesome and she shared that her secret was Joyce. Even though it is really outside of my normal area and they don’t have weekend or later than typical business hours (which can be tough at times) I had to give it a try and more than ten years later here I still am going there. Joyce helps me greatly find glasses that I always get compliments on, that fit my small bridge and personality. I have a hard time deciding these things and with Joyce it is a breeze because I trust her opinion very much and she is truly gifted at finding the right frames for your face shape. Dr. Cassis has been a great benefit to this location. She believes so much in what she does and really cares about helping people. Because this is her company, she can do so much more that will benefit you, than a Dr. at a big company and she has a lot of attention to detail. I have been timid to try new things that I need to do Vision-wise as my eyesight changes and she has given me the latitude to give it a try and to change it if I don’t like it. She has really boosted the technology and they have tests that I never knew existed and has opened a dry eye clinic. I suffer from chronic chalazion and had been only managing outbreaks with Opthamologists. Dr. Cassis has been helping me in a new more wholistic approach to fixing the problem and keeping it controlled with methods that work for dry eye patients as well. It’s a rare problem and it was so serendipitous that I could get relief and become more on the offensive side, from a place I was already going to. This could be an even longer review, telling how this company is different and better than any other place I have been for these services for many reasons. However to put it plainly, from a person who has used many services from here and been to many different places in my past for eye needs, and who admittedly is not the easiest person to please, I highly recommend this company and you will not be disappointed if you give them a try!

I LOVE this office!!!! Everyone you come into contact with is very friendly, knowledgeable and SO helpful. I had an issue that came up suddenly, and Dr Cassis had me come in to be checked out immediately to get a handle on the situation. Her follow up care has been very thorough. I feel very well cared for and confident that this will be remedied. And don’t get me started on Joyce 🤓, she has kept me in stylish glasses for the last decade or more. I have been a patient of Dr. Cassis for over eight years and she is simply the best! Her eye exams are thorough and she explains every thing she is doing. A couple of years ago I had a detached retina and Dr. Cassis was with me during every step of the healing process. I just met her new office staff and they are terrific.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nathalie Cassis for two years. I cannot speak highly enough of her and her team.I moved to the Norfolk area two years ago. My worst nightmare is always finding a new eye doctor. I have Keratoconus, an eye disorder that thins and reshapes the cornea. My condition is treatable, but requires the help of an eye care professional who is exceptionally knowledgeable about the condition AND fitting Scleral lenses. My personal experience is most eye doctors do not have the skill level necessary to truly help their Keratoconus patients. Because of the odd shape of the cornea, fitting the lenses can be frustrating and time consuming for the patient and a true challenge for the doctor. Finding a personable, caring, committed, and knowledge optometrist, who is willing to invest the time necessary to ensure clear and comfortable vision, is near impossible. I can’t believe how lucky I was to find Dr. Nathalie. She immediately understood my special needs, used state of the art equipment to assess and map my eyes and have custom lenses crafted. My vision is now 20/20 (for the first time in years). My lenses are comfortable and I am confident Dr. Nathalie will continue to provide excellent guidance and help me protect my eye’s health.I strongly recommend Dr. Nathalie to any individual; from a standard exam to more complex eye medical issues. As I was leaving from my last vision check up Dr. Cassis said to me youre number 1 Matthew Tyler! The statement caused me to stop and realize that no... Im not number 1; Dr. Cassis is deserving of that title! She has been my optometrist for the last 12+ years! My vision is absolutely terrible (-10 and -8) but because of her I see in 20/20. I wouldnt trust anyone else as easily as I trust her and her staff to know and do whats best for my optical health. This new location is modern and cozy. There is a comfortable seating area with a designated table for the little ones. The chandelier is a nice touch. Check in and out is quick and easy! Highly recommend coming here for your optometry needs!
