Love this store! The membership is almost paid fort just with savings on gas. Always 15-20 cents cheaper than anywhere else. Cheaper than Sams club consistently. Great deals, all kinds of membership perks online and stuff you wouldnt even think of like travel and insurance.The store is always clean and full of surprises. The people are friendly and it is a store I can wander around in and be just fine. Is that weird?

Normally pretty crowded but they get through the customers quickly. I have tried recently going after 7:00 p.m. and found that shopping was much easier. There are fewer people and it was very quick to check out. The store has some great deals going on right now. A 210-lb weight set is on sale for $299.

Friendly staff when searching for items. Debra is super fast on the register and very customer-focused. I observed her voluntarily sharing a BOGO promo with a customer checking out to allow them to take advantage of the special. Thats customer service!

Hate dealing with the gas pumps. Always a line and people dont know how to handle the 2 pumps 2 cars at a time. Makes for a very frustrating fill up. Not to mention the ridiculous new pump handles that a lot of the elderly find it hard to work. You have to push the nozzle in with quite a bit of force and keep the pressure on it the whole time its pumping. I know its some new safety measure but in my 55 years, atleast 40 of them pumping gas Ive never had a nozzle fall out while it was pumping before. Nor have I ever seen it happen to anyone else

Awesome place. Great exercise if your into walking. Great prices but meat has gone up $$$its expected cause of these Pandemic 🙏🙏🙏

I love Costco! I can find the beat deals there and the Kirkland brand is the Bomb Diggity! Their food rocks, their products are stellar and the entire shopping experience is well-organized. We only go about once a month, but we live in a rural area, so its helpful to stock up for several weeks.The biggest challenge is sticking to the list and avoid any impromptu purchases.Paper products, technology, baby supplies, OTC meds, and frozen food are always a deal. Whatever you buy is typically large volume, so its important to shop wisely at this type of store. I am big on price comparison, so I know Ive saved money on products that Ive researched at other stores. For example, we found a magnetic hand-held shower head at Home Depot, but bought it for $10 less at Costco! Their storage boxes (black plastic boxes with yellow lids) are a steal!We recently ordered an expensive outdoor furniture set that is made amazingly well and looks fantastic on our lanai. They delivered on time and placed it (in huge boxes) on a pallet in our garage. Everything was packed very well! We love it! Do your research before shopping!

I love COSTCO but this has got to be the most chaotic one Ive been too.

Very good store. Only complaint is they constantly change the layout so it is hard to shop and know where to go for what you need. Plus, the store is always busy. Otherwise, it is a great store. If you are coming from VB, I just found that you can take Princesse Anne (becomes Kempsville) to VB Boulevard then take a left and go down 5 minutes. Easier than the highways.

Great place for bulk buy for often consumed items at great prices. Olive oil, wine, meats quality are excellent. Sometimes they have excellent short term sales thats really good. Great staff too.

Not too crowded Costco. Convenient location that is well organized. As this was the original Costco in the tidewater area it is smaller than some later ones. It has a gas station. The hot dogs and food concessions are inside

I love the atmosphere and the deals on raw meats, especially! We not a lot of raw meat here and then portion and vacuum seal it so it lasts for months! High quality meats and snacks! We use a lot of the store brand items for our kids and ourselves and it all works great!

Best warehouse store. Gas always cheaper & in stock when other stations are out. Store clean, staff helpful & products are of good quality.

Love this Costco but its always so packed with people that it can difficult to move around the store or get gas. Despite that Im still coming back!

This Costco is very old and somewhat small. Parking is tough to maneuver through. However the employees working in the store are great. They are always smiling and willing to help.

Upside: Huge selection, good prices and well stocked.Downside: lines were way too long. Ridiculously too long. If I were purchasing something, I would have set it down and left. They dont sell unsweetened iced tea at the food bar. Not everyone drinks soda. I chose to not become a member. I will keep my Sams and BJs memberships instead.

Its not horrible but its surrounded by urban decay. The building itself doesnt look like its been updated since the 90s. Its the only Costco in the area but the company doesnt seem to be interested in refreshing this location from the appearance of it.

Could do better training some employees a better customer service. this lady qt the self-checkout, whispering but loud enough for me and my family to hear what she said. When I called her to help me scan some items, she said Ughh!! what now?! I understand that it has been a long day but she couldve kept it to herself.

This Costco is busy on the weekends (show me a Costco that isn’t!) but they work hard at keeping the lines down and going fast. The self-serve register system at the Cafe is super nice and gets you your food fast. Bring back the samples!!

Store is great. But was there at 11:30am on a Wednesday and it was packed. Isles seem smaller than other costco Ive been in. But! Its a costco so its still great.

Very busy on a Sunday. Parking lot is not easy to maneuver. Self check was pretty quick.

Absolutely love the organic selection of produce for great prices! I make up jar salads and they last a week. My favorite finds this week 1) KS Mixed Nut Butter with Seeds - so delicious! 2)The SC and Company Skort is so comfortable and classic - wish Id bought 2 or 3.

Fair warning to anybody whos not used to the Virginias way - Costco here doesnt sell hard liquor! So say goodbye to your favorite spirit in a huge bottle 😉 I found that out the sad way lolAnd food court doesnt carry a lot of stuffs like sandwiches, acai bowl, coffee based drinks or salad (not sure about salad). Berry smoothie is very bad, chicken baked is also bad (tastes like sour/stale bread with expired chicken) or at least that ONE and only time I tried and swore to never try againBesides that, everything is pretty good - people are helpful, things are stored neatly, the standard stuffs.

I wish they would stop deleting popular items, like the American cheese. I found Land o Lakes cheese at BJS. I never went to BJS before but now I spend a lot of money there!

The store is very clean it has a variety of foods and drinks that you might be looking for and i just love the bakery items.

Faithful Costco goer! I can get fresh and affordable Organic fruits, vegetables and snacks. Also, everyone is friendly and the system works. That’s why I love this place!

This Costco is very small compared to other locations, But it’s the only one in the area. It also doesn’t sell liquor, not sure if that’s a state law. But Steve at the door was very friendly and so was the cashier. I just wish the location was bigger to have more selection like other Costcos.

I LOVE Costco. I know I can get good quality food items there. I try not to venture outside of what Im there for and its the grocery but they get me sometimes when I have to pass a section or Im venturing off my normal path and they have something that I had no intent to buy but it was such a great deal, how could I pass it up. lol

Need a better supply of handicap carts for elderly and handicap customers for busy occasions. Said carts also need to be charged more frequently or better quality cart with larger/ longer battery capacities. My near 85 year old grandfather waited without his wife; who went inside with working cart, for 15 minutes in a cart with dead battery awaiting a customer with charged cart to come out from store. After exerting his patience he was fed up and decided to kill time by going for gas. By this point, I had made my arrival to Costco after my errands. Grandfather and I then spent 30 mins in car when an employee was bringing one back to store from parking lot only to inform us that a woman who had just arrived to store had already requested a cart. Luckily enough a customer coming out with a cart was nice enough to allow me to follow his wife and he to their car to help load groceries and be certain to get his cart.Come on Costco...we can do better than this! Especially for our elders/seniors and ♿. An expectant change in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Please and thanks. Lets get this issue addressed promptly.Not saying that this is always a problem nor that we dont appreciate Costco and all that your team does. We have been shopping there as long as I can remember. My grandparents also have not always been in their present state, but I do believe their loyalty to your company deserves better circumstances.

Michele is a pathetic, sour old woman. She made a big deal out of me paying for a family member. It was only 1 transaction. I guess Id be upset if I was 50, becoming wrinkly, and still working at Costco.

This Costco does not have any place to charge my electric car. We used to shop at the biggest Costco in the world. It was nice to charge while going shopping for a bit.

Covis-19 held us captive for the year so Costco was a treat! The wife took half the list and I took half. We found everything we wanted plus I discovered a few very good bathing. We topped it off with hot dogs and sodas on the way home. Love that place!

Not a bad Costco. Realizing that no two Costco are completely the same. Staff 8s friendly and tthen store is clean.

Being around many places and experiencing new Costco stores, this place is pretty outdated and awkward... because the tire shop is just super inconvenient, parking, entrances and gas stations are all just a mess. And you know what I mean if you have ever used Costco tire shop. It will take at minimum an hour to get your vehicle. So what will you do? Shop at the store or roam around, but its a bit of a walk and sitting is not available in the shop due to COVID, so blah...On a bright side though, it will save you money 🤑 once they have sittings... specially if its raining or cold.The staff service is usual. I had issues a couple of times with orders and checkouts, but nothing that really bothers me.And you get used to this place because its the only one in this area🙂

Love my Costco. Staff is awesome. Their brand is the best. Their Kirkland Deli turkey is the best. I am not able to afford it at other stores. Laughing Cow cheeses are priced about one fourth of Harris Teeter.My only complaint is that switch pet products often. I will not feed anything from China to my fur babies. Keep it American Costco. Still love ya!!

Costco have very nice deals and lots of stuff. And the nice thing is it a large quantity of items per item.

Always a pleasure coming to this Costco location. They quickly adapted to the current conditions by making sure everything the customer comes in contact with is sanitized. I only wish they would build another one to alleviate the flow of customers. Perhaps in Virginia Beach one day. If your considering getting a membership to Costco do it!! I have been a member since 2008 and I highly recommend this whole seller!

Used to be a member until I moved recently. Sams Club was closer so I bought a membership there. But there are still some items that Sams Club doesnt sell - or not nearly at the same price point.So, I went online and placed an order. Got the confirmation email and a few minutes later, a cancellation. Possible reasons were an error in the payment info or my address (both were fine). Waited a few minutes and tried again with the same result. In the meantime, Costco put a hold on both cancelled purchases that, after a week, still werent removed.I called Costco and they said the holds on my bank account were released but the problem was that I didnt renew my membership. I told the CS rep that the website says you can order online but you pay a 5% surcharge (which was reflected on both of my attempts to place an order) and asked him to run that up his chain of command.I checked the website and their policy is attached. It makes not sense. On the one side it says you cant order at Costco.com without a membership; then it says you can if you pay the surcharge; then it says you cant order member-only items without a membership. Nowhere on the page for the item I ordered does it indicate whether its a member-only item.Come on, Costco. Ive shopped at your stores for years and you do things better than this.

I have been shop with BJs, Sams club and Costco, and here is the best one out of the three warehouse stores with membership. Recently they have so many Asian snack variety that cant find anywhere else, or much cheaper compare to local Asian supermarkets. Love their fresh seafood and rotisserie chicken. I never think I would get clothes from there, but guess what, the material is so comfortable!! Now I always buy my working clothes there. But hard to control how much you will spend there. Thinking go in there to get a case of tissue only, and then end up with full cart to walk out with, LOL.

Besides the benefits of being a costco, there were some things on the sales area that were quite a mess. I hoped that was a temporary issue, but it remained after I returned a week later.

If you can afford the membership fee and spend at least a c-note each time you visit, it is well worth shopping here. The savings add up over time. From food and drink to gas to homegoods, youll find it all.....provided you like their buyers choices. The staff is the friendliest and I hear they are well paid. Been a member before they purchased Price Club.

Costco. Busy, lots of stuff, good prices, great gas prices. As long as youre buying in bulk, you are good to go! And, the $1.50 hot dog and drink for lunch is always waiting for us.

Bought a very large amount. Received offers to help me to the door. From there i pulled my car upp and a young man loaded my items. As an older lady I so appreciate the help and offers to help me.

The weird thing about this experience was the new covid things. Still enjoyed spending 280 on 11 things. Got some new plates which I was very happy about. I went to get a unlocked phone but they did not have one. Love the 1.50 hotdog drink and even got a 1.99 pizza. Awesome.

Costco is a great place and they have a ton of samples with all sorts of stuff whether it be jam nutrition bars or even vitamins I have it it is a membership place so you would have to get a membership they have a food court with great food but nothing there is gluten free for those who have gluten allergies intolerances or people who have celiac. But their food is really good great stuff. It has furniture light bul bs food vitamins dog beds clothes you name it.

Great Kirkland gas prices and this specific location has had toilet paper in stock 2/2 visits over the last few weeks.

The checkout people are friendly and helpful. When I go here its always crowded no matter what time of day. The selection isnt bad. They have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. They recently started carrying a lot of Asian cuisine products, gluten free, and keto products... but I wish they would start carrying more low sodium options. Everything is loaded with sodium which is a little bit discouraging.

Got my new phone here, great service! We regularly get their rotisserie chickens great sizes for the price and taste as well. We recently also got hooked on the brand of spinach and cheese ravioli.

Was going to check them out. Person at entrance was super rude, even yelled at me. I told her the lady on the phone said I could shop around but just not buy. She said go over there to memberships...loudly. I had no idea where memberships was located. I figured it out on my own and complained to management. They lost me as a customer due to the lady on the phone who never said I needed a check in at memberships desk, and the lady at the door. Choose wisely who will represent your store. I heard this place had great customer service. Not today. I was so upset I almost cried. Took me 10 mins to calm down.

Its time COSTCO built a new store in Norfolk. This building is too small and so is the parking lot. The staff are good people and are good at their jobs.
