I was trying to go to my regular place for an oil change today. I was there half an hour till they closed at 4pm. It being 3 hours before their regular hours due to being short staffed. I was frantic with it being a Saturday, and losing hope as other places were closed already too. I typically plan better, but a tight schedule and a last minute 28+ hour trip planned for tomorrow, and a much needed oil change had me in a predicament. After several Google searches I found Grease Monkey. I called and they had availability. It wasnt much further to get to. There was no line, and they were so fast to get me in and out! Im beyond thrilled. Thank you for your amazingly professional, and fast service. I wont go anywhere else now!!

This shop absolutely went above and beyond. Their work is professional and so far the best in the central Illinois area. I have used them multiple times for my work truck and now personal vehicle. This location was able to locate things my dealership did not pick up on. I plan to keep using this location as long as their in business. I have been in customer service since 2008 and they treat me the way I want to be treated. Thank you for taking the extra step to know your service is everything anyone would want.

This was a GREAT experience! I was able to get in and out within 30 minutes or so. My battery kept dying and the technician was able to test it and show me that my battery needed to be replaced. The staff was very friendly and confident that they knew what they were doing! I’m so glad I came to Grease Monkey. Thanks again!

I received a 15 off coupon when I clicked on the website after looking at the reviews on Google (4.5 rating). When I arrived I could tell they moved with a purpose; they gave me an order form which expedited the process even further. I bought a full service and made it out of there in just under 20 minutes. These two men didn’t allow the drought of employees affect the consumers; they broke a sweat for that timeframe! Also, I could sense some extra honesty in both of the workers there, which is the best feature of all.

Adam and Shawn were very helpful, Adam showed me the cabin air filter and engine air filter and explained why they would need to be replaced soon and why but did not push any extra services upon me. Shawn also showed me a coupon that Greasemonkey was running and it saved me 15 dollars so that was awesome. Overall a great shop and great people.

I went in for a simple oil change and the guys inside were extremely friendly and helpful, pointing out i needed to change my filter, which they did promptly.They were super professional, and overall provided excellent service.

About 6 months ago, I got my car washed right next to this place.. after coming out I had a spare tire case jammed up underneath my car and I was dragging it when I came out. Two guys from Grease Monkey came out and helped me dislodge it, today I went and got my oil changed in my truck. Professional, Quick, Top Notch! Keep it up, you have a customer for life!

I was supposed to show up for an appointment to have my vehicle worked on down the road at Jiffy Lube, I arrived and was told that they could no longer work on my vehicle without any call, made me wait all day to arrive and then tell me. I came over to grease monkey right down the street, Chris and his crew was very professional did not try to sell me anything I did not need and worked on the expected problem and finished it within a reasonable time. I would highly recommend Chris and his crew to anybody who is looking for a great quality work done to their vehicle. I was very delayed because of Jiffy lube but because of Chris and his staff he was able to get me back on the road within reasonable time. Thank you Chris and everybody hate me smoky I cannot explain how grateful I am that you guys took the time out of your busy schedule to help me get back to my son. Had my 06 tahoe in for an oil change and got treated with respect and was good with answering all my questions and then later in the day took our 14 sonic in for an oil change as well and the person that took care of us said our car uses a synthetic oil and said that our oil was in good shape for awhile and thankful for them to say something that i didnt know. Chris and team were awesome. I brought the car in needing a oil change and ac recharge. They discovered I had an oil seal gasket leaking and took me out to the bay to show me. All work took an hour total to complete. Very honest and professional.

Ive been to a few different places to get an oil change and the customer service was subpar. I like Grease Monkey because Chris is always professional, helpful and always answers my questions and is straightforward. Im also usually in and out, which is always a plus. If they do happen to be busy, I notice how hard they work to ensure I receive the quickest possible service!

Chris and the team went above and beyond to make sure my vehicle was fixed correctly. The service was more difficult than expected due to unforeseen circumstances, but they were transparent throughout the entire process. The customer was definitely put first and this is the only place I will take my vehicles from here on out.

They were fast, friendly, and helpful. They offer a discount for Ladies Day on Wednesdays but theyre priced fairly regularly.

Stopped in for a oil change, they were shorthanded like everyone else in town so really only had one bay going. Was a car in the bay with one behind was in and out in less than 40 minutes and the guys were courteous and professional

Called told them I needed a oil change. As soon as I got there told them just a oil change. I sat there and watched them. They did just a oil change. They didnt check the wipers or batteries like my invoice said. Then I got charged 105.00 dollars for that!!!!!

The service was very quick, I did not have to wait and the workers were very friendly. My only complaint was they must not have reset my vehicle because when I start it, it still says oil needs to be changed.

I recently had one of my cars oil changed at the Grease Monkey location in Normal. The three guys that were there were very unprofessional. During the time that my car was being serviced they constantly used the F word and made comments such as Dont do that, that is a customers car. I dont exactly know what they were doing or if they were joking but I did not find any of this funny. My car is to important to me to have it serviced by a bunch of unprofessional guys. I will not be bring my vehicle back to this location.

I needed a quick oil change for a long holiday drive (three days before Thanksgiving 2019), so I took Subaru Forester 2016 for a QUICK ENGINE OIL CHANGE (40K) in the morning 8:30 am @ Normal, IL branch. I pointed out to them that the the Foresters transmission drain plug is quite close to the engine oil drain plug, so please be careful. They rudely told me that they were professionals who had decades of experience. After two technicians were under the car for 30 minutes, I decided to ask them why it took so long. They reluctantly admitted that they mistakenly pulled the transmission drain plug instead of the engine oil plug!!! ($#*(@) They offered to fill the transmission fluid for free, but I told them that Subarus transmission was not to be serviced (closed system) AND it was still under the manufacturer warranty until 100K. Opening its transmission gear box to fill the fluid would void the warranty. Finally, after aggressive negotiation, they offered to toll my car to Grossinger Subaru. Grease Monkey also stripped the transmission drain plug so the dealership had to replace one of the transmission chassis. Fortunately all rectifying bills went to Grease Monkey for their simple, ignorant mistake. A 15-minute quick oil change at Grease Monkey became a one-day ordeal. Called Grease Monkeys service manager but did not get any call back or an apology from them. One year has passed, and I am still angry when I think about the experience.

Grease Monkey does a really great job on making sure vehicles get the proper attention that they need. For example, about 3 months ago, I got a brake job done on my car. Brakes are great as of now. Oil changes, really simple, fast, and always done properly.

Most places tend to get over on females and he couldve performed the service just because. I really appreciated the professionalism and honesty. I will definitely be returning for future services.

Absolute best place to take your car. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable, and they never try to over sell you on unnecessary things. In fact, they always tell you if you can wait on fixing something to save your money until you really need to do something about it.
