I had been fighting a problem with my AC/Heat blower randomly working. I replaced the Blower Motor and the Blower Resistor and no go. I was at my whits end with this problem. I was told to use Angry Wankel by Twin City Garage in Normal, IL. They were right. I took it Angry Wankel and the problem was resolved by end of shift. The problem was 3 fold. A slow burn fuse, Blower switch in the Dash Fused and a blown Blower Resistor. It is awesome having my AC/Blower working now. They also installed my Rear Backup camera better than I could have. I highly recoomend these guys for Audio/Video or Electrical problems. Thanks

On the way to church my battery and alternative decided to die... with my large family holed up in an empty post-service church I had enough juice to make to AutoZone for parts and the store gave me the recommendation of Angry Wankel to install the alternator. With little notice they did the job fast and inexpensively... too inexpensively for me, so I gave them a tip bigger then what they wanted to charge me. These guys are smart and really know cars...deeply. It is not a pristine place but they are honest and inexpensive.

These people was so good to me and my family, they stayed extra hours after closing to make sure me and my family made it back home to Michigan, we are very thankful that we found this shop, we would have been stranded and they actually cared to help us and fix our vehicle for a great price. So thankful for these guys! Traveling through Illinois and ran into some car trouble late on a Saturday afternoon. They graciously agreed to fit our van into their schedule and were super kind and efficient. Not only that but they were very upfront with all costs and it was much less expensive than we anticipated. Really very highly recommend and we were definitely blessed by Angry Wankel tonight!

Guys were just awesome. Our college kid was far from home and the car died. Got a jump start and she drove it to chain auto parts store and they told her it was a major electrical malfunction. Brought it to these guys and it was just a dead battery. They were honest and kept the cost low and got our daughter on her way. Was taking a trip from Texas through to Michigan, on our way back our car check engine light started to blink. This is the only place that answered their phone and was open ! We were so impressed, they were extremely friendly and so helpful. They got us back on the road in no time! Thank you guys so much for making our emergency a smooth sail!

I experienced unexpected car trouble that was very worrisome and stressful. They looked at my car on short notice and figured out the issue. They weren’t able to fix the issue but walked me through the steps to find the best option moving forward. They were all so kind and helpful throughout the whole process. I was traveling to St. Louis from Chicago. My car shifted hard and the check engine light started blinking, signaling a misfire. This is at like 630 pm or so. I get off the highway, go to Autozone to see if I can use their scanner, it takes forever and while I’m waiting I see this place is still open. I figure okay better to get a real pros opinion. I get there and am promptly greeted. I tell them what’s going on and they agree it sounds like a misfire. They use their scanner to confirm this. I’m debating what to do, go to St. Louis or limp my car home. They let me know it would be okay to limp it home and that it wouldn’t cause any further issues and explained what I would need done once I got it back to my mechanic. I was more than happy to pay the diagnostic fee. I needed that little push to know what to do. If I ever relocate or am in the area, I know who I can trust. I meant to write this review right after it happened but work has kept me busy. Thank god they has those extended hours and were more than willing to share their knowledge. I felt much safer after having my sub checked out. If you need a trustworthy mechanic, look no further.

These guys were super knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating to look at my car last minute on a Sunday when it suddenly stopped working. They were able look at it and repair much sooner than anticipated, with very fair pricing. Highly recommend!!

While on a roadtrip from Florida we developed a bad bearing noise from the water pump. After the nearby OReilly suggested calling them they squeezed us in on a very busy Sunday. They had us back on the road in a few hours and provided some great conversation to boot. An honest shop that saved the day!

Great customer service here. They were able to get the part for my car and fix it correctly when in no time. All the people working there know what there doing, they gave me a run down of every little detail from replacing the part, to cleaning the gunk out of my my engine. Super friendly and relay able!

Awesome shop and great guys! Needed a shop at 6pm and everywhere else was closed. Theyre open later than most other shops around and on weekends, which is so great!! Also above and beyond customer service! Theyve given me rides home instead of having me wait there or spend money on an Uber. They will make sure your car is perfect! This is hands down one of the best shops Ive ever been too. We were traveling from Missouri to Michigan and had issues with my truck. On a sat at 230 they got us in stopped everything else and got has back safely on the road, if you ever need any work done Id make sure they are the ones to work on your vehicle

I was actually in Bloomington IL for a basketball tournament at IL State university and at the hotel my car wouldn’t start so Chris was able to confirm the status of the vehicle over the phone which enabled me to be confident he can fix it quickly once I got the car towed over he fixed it within hours and I was back on the road to Chicago where I live his team I is trustworthy and efficient in resolving all mechanical needs!! Was visiting my daughter at Illinois State. And my alternator failed late Saturday night. They were maybe the only shop open on a Sunday. Told m e what was wrong and priced out very fair. I was in a a bind and they took care of me.

I was on a road trip and my truck started acting up so I stopped at oriellys and they misdiagnosed the problem so I googled mechanic near me and found anger wankel the only shop open on a Sunday and the guys helped me out and were very professional, I was having a terrible day until these guys hooked me up, thanks guys

Had an oil leak from the oil temperature sensor at 4:30pm on a Saturday, 3 hours away from home. Thankfully Angry Wankel was still open, Chris and Allen were able to fix the oil leak and get me back on the road that night!

Life savers!!! The Angry Wankels owner personally repaired our vehicle on Sunday morning after we broke down on Saturday night on a trip from Wisconsin to Florida. He kept us in the loop by sending photos and giving us updates throught the day via text messages. I estimated that the charge would be right around $1K but it was under $600!! The shop and owner are awesome, and totally MILITARY FRIENDLY. If i lived in Bloomington or Normal, the Angry Wankel would be my “go to shop” for any vehicle issues.

I was driving down i55 today and my wheel starting shaking I pulled over and realized my wheel was wobbly I found angry wankel on google and luckily it was only 2 miles from where I was at I drove here and they fixed me right up highly recommended real honest guys
