I love Helzbergs Diamonds! Got my wedding band at a reasonable price and is a one carat!

My wife and I have been going to this location for a couple years now. I purchased her engagement ring and wedding band from them.What I want to highlight is that each time we tried working with the store, they’ve provided incredibly ugly settings on my wife’s ring that were set way too tall to justify.At first we complained and after a long explanation from the store manager on how it looks beautiful (even though we were complaining it looked horrible, apparently her saying it looks good is enough) eventually some other person in the store told us our request was possible and he made sure it got done.A couple years later we returned to upgrade our stone. First, the store did not contact us once the job was finished– we had to call them weeks later to find out.When we picked up the ring we were devastated to find the setting was set incredibly high again. We explained the issue again and were told that nothing could be done because this was the “industry standard”. We tried showing them photos of competitors, but they said the stones were smaller, even though the example photos we selected were specifically the same size. Attached is one of the comparisons.However what was most infuriating about this experience was that when the person we were working with escalated to the same store manager we worked with before, she was maybe the worst customer service representative either of us have ever worked with.Instead of trying to provide us with options, she spent the entire time convincing us how she thinks it looks beautiful and that we should agree with her opinion. What’s worse is she then tried to sell us earrings to go with the ring we weren’t happy with, even though my wife was visibly upset.We spent thousands of dollars at this store and they’ve completely mistreated what would otherwise have been lifelong customers, due to their horrible service and management. I would rate this location a 0/5 if I could. If you are considering purchasing anything from them, I’d highly recommend researching other options before doing so. Please do not support this store or their management.

Alina is the best!!!!! The entire staff are helpful and friendly. But I always work with Alina. She remembered me from my first purchase which was small and months ago. Will be back soon.

I wouldn’t buy anything at a chain jewelry store but I thought they’d at least offer a cleaning service for diamond rings etc. Doesn’t matter how much they charge, I was willing to pay. Guy says, “We don’t offer that prospect now because of the virus.” I said, “Prospect? You mean process?” He just stares at me and repeats the word prospect. Note to all: The words prospect and process are now interchangeable. Hmmmm. That’s funny. I’m quite certain if you buy something here they’ll clean it for you. They just don’t want to do it unless you’re making a purchase.

Been buying my jewelry there for years. They do occasionally have some good deals, 50% off plus more. Buy the insurance and have your jewelry checked every 6 months, lose a stone and they will replace it for free. Also very nice and help ful.

Honestly, I dont know where to start. My fiance and I decided we would go look at rings (engagement and wedding bands). Helzberg was our first location and Alina asked a couple of questions to get to know what I was looking for. Automatically, she was very welcoming and easy to talk to. She showed me a couple of rings and BAMM we found a ring I fell in love with at first sight but we decided to keep looking at other locations (just in case we see something else). Few weeks passed, I received a phone call from Alina regarding the ring & it was great news. Next thing you know, we went in to purchase the ring and my fiances wedding band. Im honestly happy that Alina was part of the process. Thank you for making our moment so special.

Met with Kara and Barb who were very welcoming and informative. Didnt feel pressured or rushed into purchasing. They both listened to our needs and were professional.

I bought here beautiful earrings. Also I did here some repair of gold rings. I had some incident with one of manager, but another manager gave to me discount and apologized for his colleague. I loving my earrings and rings, thank you!

Wonderful sales people who can help you find what youre looking for. I purchased an engagement ring and wedding band. Really good quality and very affordable. People always comment thinking it costs more than it really did.

Not great service, highly inconvenient​ to get to. For a family without a car its a pain to get out here and have the 6 month inspection done to withhold the warranty. Not cool.I biked 15 miles to get here to be turned down for an inspection because I didnt have a card. Get with the times its the 21st century, computerize. There should be no paper cards, look it up by a name or phone number. 30 miles round trip just to come out here again is plain stupid.Also we bought the rings in Austin Texas way before we moved to the city proper of Chicago.
