I cant say enough about the guys and gals at Garage31. This is by far the best garage in the North Aurora area to take your car to for simple service/maintenance or major repairs. Its always a professional and pleasant experience from the moment you walk in the door to the time they hand you the keys after your vehicle has been serviced. After years of going to the stealership and other local auto shops in the area, I can honestly say that after my first visit to Garage 31 over a year ago they earned a customer for life on all of my families vehicles. These guys tell you exactly what you need and nothing more. Fair prices, no upsell, no lying and no BS. Truly a gem in the auto repair business IMHO. Garage 31 does great work. Clint and Keith are top-notch mechanics, and trustworthy individuals. This is a family run business that knows what its doing, both with cars and in customer service.

Nice work but extremely 🙄 high prices and Its always busy so expect taking appointments.If you hate your money go their. They do the same as any Mechanic. Garage 31 needs to care more for costumers. In order to solve an issue in your car you have to make at least 3 visits to find the original issue. That means 💸+🔥=🤦‍♂️

Even though my father-in-law referred me to Garage 31, I was skeptical about visiting this place based on recent reviews. Wow. I could not have been more pleased with Clint and the team at Garage 31. I was shocked by the quick turnaround, the detail of their assessment, and their professional demeanor.Having worked next to mechanics for almost 7yrs, these guys seem top-notch. They take their trade seriously. They want to do a good job. And I learned that they’re family owned and operated, with just as many female owners as male owners! That’s rare, and it comes across in the way they serve their clients with a balanced business approach, from the little touches in the waiting room to the friendly conversation while I wait nervously for an answer to the fair pricing at the cashier.In the end, my car doesn’t need as much repair as originally feared. (whew!) And I finally found a mechanic that I can trust. All in all, it was a good day at Garage 31!

The Garage 31 crew is a solid family owned business. They have experience and knowledge working on every car manufacturer. The work is though, well done and honest. You don’t have to worry about them recommending or tricking you into “fixes” that you don’t need. Their waiting room is large, clean and comfortable with WiFi, TV, tables and plenty of space to do work while your car is being serviced. We use them for preventative maintenance - Oil changes, tire rotation, new tires, and any service my wife or I’s car needs. I recommend Garage 31 to all my friends and family. They are very reliable & fair priced, don’t go anywhere else for your vehicles service.

Great find close to my house. Had a front end issue so hey do both sides. They called after inspection said only needs the one side. Saved me $200. Honest mechanics. Check out their oil change price and included services. Always do my own oil. But next time. They are doing it.

Took my 06 Cadillac here because of a check engine light and it was running sluggishly with a small noise. After a few days of them having it I got it back with a nice size bill but the problem wasn’t fixed and what they fixed I could’ve done in my garage, the light had just been addressed. Two days later took my car to another repair shop across the river and they told me I had three brake calipers dragging which is why my car was being so sluggish and going over it’s normal range of rpms. Then he found a vacuum leak! I called and spoke to some mechanic but he just talked the conversation in circles claiming everything was fine when they drove it. Seriously disappointed and will not be returning. Going here was unnecessary money spent and honestly I feel ripped off.

Ive been going to Garage 31 for years. Great service and I recommended my friends and family for great professionalism.

First impression is a very friendly atmosphere. Their customer area is very clean and tidy. And if you have to wait for your service to be done, their waiting area is comfortable.As for the service, fast and efficient. In a short amount of time, they went over my car and discovered the issues I was having. They went over them with me in a way I could understand. (Not a car person myself). Quick delivery on the parts I needed and they were able to get me on the road the next day. 100% satisfied with my visit and will be returning for the next service needs.

Our Saturday did not start off well, we needed to rush our cat to the VCA Animal Hospital ER. After dropping her off for emergency care and waiting to hear back from the vet, we were driving to a nearby Panera use a restroom when our vehicle threw a blinking check engine light and started buffeting. So a bad day got suddenly much worse.We used to live in this area, so we started to drive to a CarX, only to find they had closed up shop for good. So we searched the area and saw Garage 31 had good reviews. We called, and the owner/mechanic Clint told us to bring it over and hed take a look at at.We were impressed right away when the shop was extremely clean with a nice waiting area (and a clean bathroom). Clint got our vehicle right in and checked it out. Just 20 minutes later he came by to tell us that while a cylinder was misfiring, it had corrected itself and should be ok to drive. He didnt even charge us for the diagnosis, and wished us and our cat good luck.I cant say enough good things about a car repair place that is trustworthy. If we still lived in this area, Garage 31 would be our go-to repair shop. Thank you for being kind to us on an otherwise rough morning!

I had such an great experience here. Ive had some pretty bad trips to auto shops, esp. considering Im a young female. Im used to getting ripped off. I read the reviews on Garage 31 and hoped for the best that they were right...and they were. I needed my brakes done on my CRV and thought I had waited too long and was sure my tab was going to be about $1,000...to my surprise, it was only $515...rear brake pads, rear rotors and a new battery as well. They also found the code to reset my radio if it ever gets disconnected from its power source...which was not in the manual like it should have been. They did so much for so little and explained everything to me so I understood what was going on with my car. Oh, there is also an adorable dog in the office that greets you and sits with you while you wait. Very impressed. I feel genuinely taken care of and will be taking my car here forever. Thanks Garage 31!

I had a great experience with the shop. I had my Ford Ranger towed there after-hours when my starter went out. They have a key drop, which is great, and they got to work on it right away the next day. They stayed in touch with me throughout the process and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Reasonably priced, high-quality work done by friendly, honest folks.But the best part.... THEY HAVE A SHOP DOG, and what a sweet pup it is! They also have cookies for your own four-legged friend.10/10 will return.

Just found out about this place. Gave me a quote over the phone for engine mount replacements and the work ended up costing exactly that. No add ons to at the end of the job. Pleasant surprise and very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

I never knew a place like this existed. I know of no other car repair establishment that is honest and trustworthy AND completely reasonable with costs.My husband brought his Audi in a few times just recently and I just took my Honda Pilot in. I can kick myself for living in Aurora since 2003 and I just find out about this place in 2019?Word of mouth is everything and our old neighbor recommended this place to us. So now I’m passing along the good review as well. I’ve found my new garage! Exhaust leak was growing louder on my 2010 VW GTI and they quickly diagnosed the problem as a failed sleeve on the pipe. They fabricated a replacement part and had me out the door in less than an hour and less than $50!!

I cant say enough great things about everyone at this shop. Its a family friendly no BS type of authenticity. Ive brought my vehicles to them for different reasons and theyve exceeded my expectations every time. They explain what they are doing and nothing is unclear. They seem to really want to help people and it shows from the minute you walk through their front door.

We decided to try Garage 31 after having gone to a dealership for years. At first I was a little nervous, having been brainwashed that only dealerships know your car, but within moments my husband and I were put at ease. The facility is clean, the customer service is outstanding and to top it off, they have the cutest dog on site. They dont pressure you into anything unnecessary but still recommend whats best for your car. Nothing better than supporting a family owned business!

Pulled in at the end of the day with a staple in my side wall of my tire. I could tell they were really busy, but the owner himself popped over asked me how I was doing and helped me right away. Shop was nice and clean. Nice honest people.

Scheduling was really open and easy, and the oil change was fast. The staff was very friendly and the place has a definite family feel about it. The doggy in the waiting area (Harper) was super cute :)The gentleman who checked me out was very kind and understanding of a slight financial mishap on my end.

The team at Garage 31 are top notch. It is great having a place I can trust will provide quality work at a fair price in the neighborhood. None of my vehicles have been to a chain shop since Garage 31 has opened and I have no plans to change that.

Great local shop, Ive had a number of things done on my 86 mercedes.

I recently had a catostrophic engin failure on my old toyo pickup. Faced with the out of control prices of new pickup trucks the math worked out to invest in repairing my old truck.Garage 31 is so close to where i live i figured id go in and talk to them about looking at my truck and after meeting with them i felt confident enough to spend the time getting an estimate. Long story short they put a new engin, tires, exhaust and a lot in between, all of which was needed since i drove this truck into the ground. 10k later i have a nice runing truck that should get another 100k or more if i take care of it this time. Its been a month or so since i picked it up and its still runing smoothly, money well spent.

Kinda over priced on everything, good service though. I would go there again for the oil changes and tire rotation.
