I brought my car in because of an exhaust issue and ended up spending over $1000 on nothing. I picked up my car and the exact same issue happened. The service team must have missed A hole in my exhaust which you were able to hear when you started the car. I was pretty surprised that this issue was not looked into because even on the repair report it’s stated rusting exhaust. I live about 40 minutes away from Norwood so going back a second time is a huge inconvenience

Here is my initial letter to VW of America after Prime refused my claim:My DPF light come on last week, so I took my 2014 JSW TDI to a dealership where I was told there was a P1950 fault for blocked or faulty cooling fans and a P1A58 for nox cat regen required, and the fans would have to be replaced in order for a regen to complete which would clear both codes. I assumed the work would be covered under the extended emissions warranty, where it states the parts covered are, the OBD system, any malfunctions detected by the OBD system other than those related to the transmission. The wording seems fairly cut and dry; the coolant fans caused the P1950 which caused the nox regen to fail which caused the P1A58, so the fans would be covered.Prime Volkswagen Norwood refused to cover the repairs under warranty, stating that the cooling fans are not on the list of approved parts that VW Corporate provides. This didnt make sense to me, as it contradicts what the extended warranty expressly states. Even supposing the fans arent covered under the OBD clause, it seems they would then be covered under the clause, the entire exhaust gas after treatment system. If the fans are necessary for nox regen, arent they an integral part of the exhaust gas after-treatment system? From the point of view of anyone who reads the extended emissions warranty and has any mechanical knowledge the cooling fans are covered by 2 clauses, so I am having a very difficult time understanding the dealerships decision.From scouring TDI forums, it seems as if VW regularly denies dieselgate warranty claims.It is sad, and a little disgusting, that a multi billion dollar company has to lie to get out of covering a warranty claim they themselves caused by... lying. This was my first VW, I will never buy a VW again, and I will do my absolute best to make sure everyone close to me knows that VW will lie to get out of paying a valid warranty claim.

My wife and I recently had to shop for a car very quickly. We visited and test drove many cars (mostly used due to the current market) across about a dozen dealerships all over eastern Mass and RI. This dealership was far and away the best. All the employees we interacted with were nice, knowledgeable, and NOT pushy at all. Our sales advisor was David Atoui who extra patient with us while we visited them multiple times and test drove cars several times as well. In the end, he and Kell Falite (business manager) made the actual purchasing process very quick and easy.We both recommend the dealership and any of their sales advisors (we met most of them), especially David Atoui.

My significant other and I were very satisfied with the staff here. The main salesperson that helped us was Jupson. He was extremely personable which made us want to make a deal with him. His sales manager was also very helpful and accommodating when discussing how to stay within the confines of our budget. Never once did I feel pressured or as if I were getting taken advantage of like I often do at other car dealerships. I would definitely recommend this dealership.

In the end, Alan the service consultant provided the best service of any of the people I encountered. The phone rings incessantly with no answer, the front desk person in service is salty and condescending. The manager attempted to recover my unpleasant experience and referred me to a patronizing salesperson who tried his best to feign sincerity, little did they know I wouldn’t buy a car from this dealership if it was the last one standing. They were dismissive, unhelpful and hugely unprofessional. Go elsewhere!

At First when we got to Volkswagen the service and things were fine. We got the car on June 30th and the temp plates was for 20days which gave the whole Volkswagen team enough time to get the information back to us about a mishap on the DMV end that was holding up our registration process. We had to call them to find out what the hold up was on our registration/plates. Had we not called we would not have known that there was a slight issue that could have been fixed quickly. After speaking to our sales Rep he did stated he could not issue another template when this was there fault. This was unexceptionable and we are just unhappy with the lack of Care to assist us or even accommodate us with everything going on right now, people just dont care and its very sad that this is the world we live in.The Car drives great But the customer service is what matters most to me and my family & not being able to drive our brand new car is not right.

This was the best experience I have ever had at any dealership (and let me tell you I have had a lot of them)! From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted immediately with a friendly vibe (not a typical annoying salesman pitch). I felt very comfortable with Jay who made the whole process a lot faster and easier than any experience in my past. When it came to meeting the Sales Manager Peter, he also contributed to making sure I was getting a great deal and that I would feel comfortable in my decision (it’s not every day you drive a car out of the showroom for a customer). It made me feel like I was first class and got a VIP experience. Although everyone will get this experience as far as what I observed. The experience continued with a smooth paperwork process with Kell. Such a down to earth group that is willing to help and go the extra mile (no pun intended) to make sure you leave happy!! As always great service from VW of Norwood. They listen to my concerns and took care of my issue in a timely manner. Everything from scheduling an appointment until they handed me back my keys went smoothly and they updated me quickly to get my permission before proceeding with the work. If you do have to have a problem with your car youd be lucky to have this team close by.

Technically the car was never sold, but it had scratches and very dirty on the inside. It was the mangers car that was used to drive between dealerships. Had 5k miles on it and they were trying to sell it as new. Beware of unethical practices of selling a used vehicle as a new car. It was still considered new because they were going to lease it.

I have dealt with other local VW dealers and nobody has treated me as well as the Norwood location.That goes for all of the departments. Quick and efficient service for an airbag recall issue.

This is the dealership I initially purchased my vehicle. My recent experience was horrible. I will never go back. My previous Service Advisor had left and went to a better position somewhere else. She was great. This new Service Advisor didn’t take the time to listen to my issues. She was only looking to upsell me on more work. I am a former automotive tech and I am well aware of the maintenance that my vehicle may or may not need. My vehicle also came back without being washed and vacuumed. I go to the dealership to get my vehicle serviced because of convenience otherwise I can do the work myself.

I want to express my gratitude to Lisa’s team, with a spotlight on David. I had been blown off by Wellesley VW on getting appt for two recalls. I forgot about the recall until I received a postcard from VW who wanted the recalls done. I tried to arrange with VW Wellesley and two women who answered the phone were plain old rude and pretentious. Volkswagen suggested Norwood VW service and from the moment David returned my call I knew I was in good hands. He is very courteous and caring. In person he exemplified professionalism and kindness. Lisa the service advisor was very caring, displayed good humor and professional. They were genuinely glad I brought my vehicle to their team and they were not lip service only! I bought a 2017 gli in December of 2020 with 40k miles on it. 6 months later the check engine light went on. I just started work as a mechanic at a lexus dealership checked it out said there was a evap system leak. i thought i didn’t close the fuel cap right so I erased it. However, it went back on 3 more times. There was no way i didn’t close it right 3 times. I took the car in spoke to Alan and paid $150 to test it. They said everything is fine and Alan kept telling me i’m not closing it right. 2 weeks later check engine went back on and spoke to both Jon and Alan and they kept telling me im not closing it right or im keeping the car running while refueling it. I kept telling them i dont do that but they dont listen and kept telling me a lot of people do that. Also, they wanted me to pay extra money to test it again (by the way i bought the extended warranty on the car). So, i took it in to my work and found the issue in 20-30 minutes. I should’ve just done it in the first place and saved the headache. it’s embarrassing how an experienced technician at Volkswagen did not know what the issue is but a beginner found it in 20-30 minutes. Also, the advisors need to start listening more and stop making people look foolish.
