Really wanted a nice laundry basket. Was listed for 20, rang up 40. The manager refused to adjust price. Really odd, but thats not cool.

Used to be a great place but not so much now. Unfortunately I didnt get her name but the woman who tried to help us find a small kitchen compost holder was EXCELLENT. She understands what good customer service is all about.

Inventory seemed a bit low (i.e. inventory is low everywhere) however, the customer service was great.

Good handled my return well. Nice people.

The 3 stars is for the helpfulness of the associate that helped me with my purchase. She was both personable and helpful. Were it not for that, this store would probably lose a star or 2. It needs a lot of help, organizationally. It looks like they are in the process of either clearing out or moving in. Neither of which I believe is true. Its very disconcerting, visually.

Was in Oakland California visiting family when my grandson mentioned he had no sheets for his bed in the dorm. Thought of BB and B because they would always have sales for college bound students. However, with the virus and havoc of it all, the supply of sheets were nonexistent. Picked the wrong store for those aheets.

This is a rating specific to this location. The place is run down and dirty. Merchandise scattered on the floor. Haphazard placement of products. If you have a car then do yourself a favor and go to the location in San Francisco.

I would probably drive further to another home goods store (or buy online if Im honest) than return here. It isnt terrible - and if you live nearby and need something basic, youll be fine - but it is not a joyful experience.Ive been in twice. The first time they didnt have what I wanted (cake pans) and the second time they had only one option (biscuit cutter). The store itself feels like an outlet store. The lighting is poor, it is very small, and lacks many choices. The final time I was in, there seemed to be an issue at each of the two open registers and the line was snaking back through the store. Unfortunately no staff member acknowledged the wait and gave us a sense of how long it might last. I get things happen - equipment fails, someone is still learning, a return is complicated - but I always appreciate someone saying hey sorry for the wait. It should be another five or ten minutes and we really appreciate your patience, rather than ignoring the line. Both times I left without buying anything. Which reminds me that I need to go buy those cake pans and biscuit cutter!

This place is small but also has an oddly haunted feel.

Been there forever. Did not have want i needed but the store is full of wonderful items for any home. The staff was helpful, one young man anyway, polite and accommodating. The female supervisor seemed upset or maybe just stressed. But overall I would shop there. That part of Jack London is a place to be on weekends.

First time I ever bought a towel didnt know they were do expensive. As an adult man I dont think we even know where towels come from until our first divorce it out mid to late 30s

They get 5 stars with the hope that an accumulation of good reviews (cmon yall!) will help this location stay open since the (better) store in Alameda shut down. Is it worthy of five stars? Meh. Its a smaller store and feels like it should the whole place should be on clearance. But they take my $10 off coupons for soda stream CO2 refills and for that, yes, five stars all the way.

This is one of Jack Londons square anchor tenants they have been here since the dawn of the square. pretty good selection pretty good staff always something in the store that you could use stop by check them out if youre lucky you may be able to park close

I needed a mattress cover and Candice, a long time experienced sales associate took time to get me exactly the one I needed. I enjoyed my shopping experience at the Oakland store and will be a return customer.

I always have a great experience and yesterday did not disappoint. I couldnt find what I was looking for and a lovely young lady went the extra and got a ladder to look in the extra storage up top to find what I was looking for. She made my day! I know, this is their job but she was just so pleasant and helpful, hard to find these days.

This is by far the best Bed Bath & Beyond store in the Bay area that I have been to! Every time I go they have great customer service and if youre unable to find something, they assist you in ordering it online. Although the store is small, and sometimes feels claustrophobic, I still enjoy going there for the great service I receive.

Its one of the only brick and mortar stores these days who sell quality home goods. I love that store. But I have no self control there😔

The checkout people didnt seem to know what they were doing. I was returning something and she stood frozen with her fingers hovering over the screen. After what seemed like forever she called over a supervisor. Then when i bought some additional items and checked out with a coupon i asked for an explanation of the receipt. It was a different checkout person. She said she didnt understand how it worked, she just puts the info in.

It was nice. Off-street parking was good, the sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. My original thought was to buy from Amazon, but I heard BBB was in some financial trouble, so I decided to go in. I was pleasantly surprised.

Like any bed bath and beyond you forget what you went in there for and get lost looking at items you definitely dont need. Nice and clean and I would say very organized. You can find almost anything you need and think you need in here.

Actually visited World Market across the street. Plenty of parking, in and out pretty quickly.

Tiny little park, good for very little kids.

Wow, what a huge, amazing and practical shop this is. If you need a storage, cleaning or tidying solution, this store will have something for you, probably several options for it! This store just kept on going, but it was also high quality items inside. The staff were super friendly, offering as much help as you need, without invading your space. Anyone with a home would enjoy this shop, something for literally every one, easy to spend hours in here!

Ran in here to grab something for work. It is well hidden cause I never knew there was a Bed Bath and Beyond right by Jack London Square. It’s alittle smaller then the other Bed Bath and Beyond store. I could locate the item I was looking for everything is on top of each other. But lucky someone helped.

I swear these are some of the most helpful people Ive dealt with in a while. It helped that the items I wanted was on sale AND I had a coupon. The store was smaller than other BB&B but the customer service was excellent.

Its fairly well stocked for such a small Bed Bath... but its really small. If you are in the area, go there by all means, but it isnt worth a special trip. You have to park on the street, but theres almost always a place within a block or two.

Probably the smallest and worst B3 Ive been to. An extra star because the staff friendly, but the selection and quality of products is pretty awful and the layout is a bit odd. I left without buying anything. Short-term street parking isnt too hard to find at least.

Bed Bath & Beyond Oakland is a nice place but its customer service is very rude and disrespectful I have made purchases there and try to return them two tone wall that has been discontinued so were taking 20% off and then we will give you this what do you mean youre taking 20% off and you can give me this I paid a hundred and some-odd dollars for this product and now youre telling me its only worth 69 very unorganized and dysfunctional place Bed Bath & Beyond itself is a great place to go shopping I love shopping there but the one in Oakland they treat people who try to bring your change back like theyre thieves and Im not up to it so this is why I give it a very low rating they are disrespectful

A full-sized BB&B, crammed into a half-size building. Selection and service is just as good as elsewhere, but if youre trying to navigate a cart through the aisles - forget about it!

The only thing going for it is the friendliest security guard in the bay area. The guy is amazing. The store is not.
