Decent selection, which they would have more, but usually able to get in and out and customer service has been good here w/o issue. Make sure to have your receipts and return w/in the 15 day window. Disclaimer: I am a BB card holder and rewards member so additional perks definitely make the experience much better.
So much easy to buy a phone here, but it take an hr to return a phone due to the phone is locked to a carrier. 10 employees walking around the store, but only one is working at the mobile kiosk and the customer service counter doesn’t take the phone while literally they has no customer over there. They really need to improve the service. Won’t buy from them again
Well initially I went in to pick up an order that my cousin purchased online for her mom to be delivered. But it wouldve been delivered Friday instead of today. We thought i could just do a store pick up instead of delivery but there was one Latino guy associate there that made my easy transaction harder by straight up lying to me. First he said they couldnt cancel it because its in route, which was a lie. Then I asked if I could just purchase the TV there and cancel the delivery order, and he told me there were none in the store, which was ANOTHER LIE, they had at least 6 i counted. Nonetheless, I purchased the tv (a 39 insignia) and the VERY SWEET associate (Kyla) not only canceled the delivery but made my transaction effortlessly soothing with her professionalism and understanding. I cant stand to be lied to. Especially over something so trivial. I want to give a ZERO rating, BUT Kyla (sorry of your name is spelled wrong), made it worth while, quick and easy. THANK YOU KYLA!! I will shop there again. But will just avoid the LIAR!!
Fantastic help setting up an upgraded phone from Stephanie who handles the cell phone purchases. She went out of her way to make sure everything was working and all the data was transferred from my older phone. Extremely knowledgeable and patient. Go to the Emeryville store in person its well worth it.
Josiah back in the Home theater section is incredible. He’s personable, knowledgeable, and just made the over all shopping experience very enjoyable. Never been this happy to shop at Best Buy. Give that kid a raise.
Now Ive been the Best buy many times and normally I would give it 4 to 5 stars but it was a terrible experience the mobile guy was only one guy and his favorite line was just give me a minute until my battery ran out and I couldnt get a lift for forever because somebody else was on my profile
It really feels like someone has engineered every element of the in store experience to be as frustrating and time consuming as possibly. It’s almost laughable. I only come to Best Buy if Amazon doesn’t sell the product. There has to be a more efficient way to operate. And the tech support package they offer is superfluous at best - every installation window is weeks out and in the middle of the day. Incessant focus on customer should be a standard practice. Endlessly inefficient.… and why is the bathroom key code access like this is a highway gas station? C’mon man.One a positive note, the employees were very pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, even great people can over come bad process and apparently inept leadership.As they say, every process is perfectly designed to get the results it gets.
This store if I could give a 0 I would. I went to look for a particular item that wouldve cost at least $1000 so I walk in the people at the door did not greet or acknowledge me. The people in the back didnt say anything either no hi hows it going can I help you find anything anything I can help you with none of that. I dont know if they thought I was window shopping or not but customer service was bad the people on duty were black just like me. At least when I went to the one closer to my house I was greeted and ended up making a big purchase there.

Just the place to go if you need a reminder of how much better it is to buy online. After wandering around for half an hour in the TV department and Magnolia show room I left without buying anything, apparently there is only one sales person in the entire store capable of demoing anything... What a waste of time this place is.But, if you really need to pay full retail markup on an HDMI cable it might be worth the trip.
Like most other Best Buys, this location offers a wide variety of different electronics, including Laptops, Desktop PCs, Cameras, TVs, and much more. Their prices are generally affordable, and it was easy to find what I was looking for. I needed a few memory cards for an upcoming trip, and they were considerably less than CVS, and even Amazon. Overall, I would recommend Best Buy for your electronic needs

Terrible, customer service was no help at all im not sure if its cause Im Asian or an other but the best buy in Pinole & emeryville was not trying to help me. What shouldve took 20 minutes turnt out to be a 2 hour ride.

Staff was knowledgeable about cameras and their functions. Gave detailed information on vlogging, lighting and pictures. Wasnt able to see for myself how good the cameras were. The cameras were off and the alarm would sound when I tried to use it.
This store is waste of time, I ordered an item online for pick up, next day received text message stating my order was canceled . I called twice to figure out why they cancelled my item, both employee were rude to me and they said they no longer have those items, one of the employee even hang up on me. I spent thousand dollars in this stores for years. Well never again, you just lost a customer. There are many other business offer same items with better experience . I don’t recommend this store at all .

Went here twice in the last week, ready to buy a new flagship laptop. Spent over an hour each time. First visit, 2 people eventually asked if I needed help, when I said yes, and was asking for specs on a floor model, employee started looking up details, then disappeared and never came back.2nd visit, no one offered to help, had to look up the SKUs by myself, and the store was near empty. Some computers were mislabeled or missing floor models or missing price tags. Most of the laptops werent connected to the internet so it was hard to even test the speakers with YouTube or something.

Meh its just another Best Buy. Giant and unwelcoming, except if youre lucky and run into the 1 employee who seems to care on any given shift. Had to wait close to 5 minutes at the cashier when there was nobody in front of me, NOBODY. Asked the security person at some point who told me to asked customer support; the only employee there, who had obviously seen me, was just chatting with a customer it seems. When I approached, without me even saying a word yet, she just snapped back saying to go back and shell be right there. What a random experience... but I have had good ones in the past at that same store so it really depends who you run into.

Best Buy is BEST in my experience. They had in stock what I searched for all last year at other retailers to no avail. Their secure curbside pick up method is tops! I will give them my business in the future.

Team came and installed my fridge - incorrectly. Now I have a non-functional fridge. Delivery people left without checking that the fridge worked and ignored requests to return. Now Im stuck with a fridge that is constantly beeping, sitting on hold with home depot...and waiting for a week for someone to come and take a look.Seriously awful experience. You really have to try hard to turn a basic fridge delivery into a stressful, painful, experience, but they managed to do it.
Terrible service. Most of staff there dont know what they are doing. We were told we were sold a used product when we went to return the item and they would not accept it. 1. We bought item brand new2. We were still within the return period3. All items were in brand new condition and in original packagingWe spoke to 2 managers who did nothing but shrug there shoulders and walk away. The staff here couldnt give a care theyre just showing up to work to collect their paychecks. Best Buy doesnt care about customer care nor the quality of staff they hire. Buy your electronic essentials somewhere else!

It was more of a visit to allow my techy ten year old an opportunity to choose a birthday gift. We honestly didnt feel like we saw much considering its a store that is all about electronics. The young lady at the door greeted us on the way in with great energy and a smile. While looking around only one person on the floor asked if we needed help which at the time we didnt, but when we did have a question a short time thereafter he seemed to be the only locatable (if thats a word lol) person and he was helping another customer. Not much of a big deal since my kid enjoyed talking to me about all things tech but it would have been nice to have access to more floor staff for questions since I personally was contemplating purchasing a game console but havent really bought anything since the late 90s 😂
Curbside service is A1 and love the convenience of being able to use their free Wi-Fi

The location has the worse customer service. Had a problem with this location the last time(2-3 weeks before) I was there and I replied to a customer service survey in which the store manager called me personally to and offered a incentive(%off next purchase) all I had to do is ask for and the stuff would get her or call to verify said offer and they would take care of me. So toady (2pm ish) I went to take her up on that offer. Walked in and when the greater able great me I ask him if I could speak with the manager and what it was regarding. He then told me that I would have to come back shes not here. I ask well is there anyone here that could possibly call as she said that the staff would and was told No youll just have to come in a couple days she not here right now. The whole problem was poor customer service in the first place and they just continued to make it difficult to spend money when all Im ask for is help me spend the money.I will note that I want to the best buy location in Pleasant Hill yesterday and looked around and after seeing something I want I left to come to this location for that reason. The experience were night and day. It wasnt hard to find a employee and that employee was busy but stopped to call someone over to help me which to no time. The employee answered all my questions and all but said let me ring that up for you. I left empty handed but the experience was just leaps and bonds better then Emeryville.
I really like this Best Buy store they always have what your looking for. Only thing is they dont have a Military Discount. They used to . Why it stopped. I dont know. The Military didnt stop fighting for us...

All staff are accommodating and smart.
You can get an idea of what product you want and the staff is knowledgeable, but they were out of stock with many items. Youd either have to order online and wait 2 to 4 days, or wait longer because they didnt know when they would get the item.
The staff here, dealing with a ton of people and a lot of complications, with a huge variety of products, are excellent. It’s refreshing to deal with real people who are genuinely looking to help you out. I picked up a 75” TV. It was broken. They advised me on how to return it, and were incredibly helpful at all times. There’s also a feeling of teamwork on display that’s almost never seen in a big box store. People actually seem to like each other there - a rarity. The staff was knowledgeable of their products and very helpful. But, when I inquired about items that were on sale and on display they did not have any in stock and they were backordered or discontinued.

Regularly find great deals on open box items here and the workers are all plenty helpful though at times it can take a bit longer than reasonable to find/page the specific person assigned to whichever department your might need.
The representatives in laptops & PC we phenomenal and very knowledgeable about the products.
Placed an online order for a laptop. The website said it was available for pickup in store. We arrived at the store to find that the order had been canceled. They said that there was some kind of discrepancy with the website. As of the time of this post this post its still shown as in stock at this store. They said it might have been stolen or something.
Went in to get a phone case, was directed to the mobile department where I waited for 30mins with no help. Will not be coming back!!

Okay, I have mixed feelings about this Best Buy. I can never seem to find an employee to help me, but when I finally do find one, they are always quite helpful and knowledgable. The last time I was there to make a purchase, I waited in the front of the line for about 10 min before a checker actually showed up to ring up customers. Another time when I came to return an item, the return line was so long it went all the way out the door because they only had 1 person doing returns. When I finally got to the front of the line, the clerk was very friendly and helpful, I guess maybe there just very understaffed at this time.

Even though Best buys supposed to be operating at roughly 20% of capacity, it still feels the same as it did before. I dont know what that says about their business, but it feels the exact same. Customer service line was still relatively long, Geek Squad line was still relatively long, and in the hour I was in the store only one person asked me if I needed help.
Best buy has a great selection of electronics and the sales staff is pretty knowledgeable. Also its nice to be able to see and contrast different electronics in person versus online.

Experience: We came in on 3/5/21 because my Parents refrigerator broke. When we got to the appliance department we were not greeted as we walked in even though they had several staff seemingly doing nothing. I was chatting with my Mom about a refrigerator and then one of the staff came over and asked me to put my mask back on as I was taking a drink from my water bottle and forgot to put it back on. I was perturbed because you can acknowledge me when you’re trying to enforce a rule but can’t greet a potential customer. So after searching for at least 1/2hour, we decided to ask for help and let the young lady know that we had yet to be acknowledged. She apologized and attempted to grabbed someone when I see another employee closer and asked him to help. I figured since we looked alike that this would be a great fit. I was mistakenly wrong as I think we embarrassed him by stating that his fly was open. From that point on became almost an uncomfortable environment. We tolerated it and decided to ignore the feeling of the unwillingness to help. When it was time to purchase the fridge, we felt that this young man was trying everything he could not to give us any additional discounts. He even was whispered to one of the floor managers about not wanting to honor the price match. We also asked for a discount on the warranty which was almost like pulling teeth to get any support. We requested one price and he came back with a super low discount. We decided not to accept the warranty and decided to search for a better deal online. I was irritated as I felt he was a mistake in what we thought was a good option. We felt overwhelmed, disregarded and outnumbered. This is a horrible feeling when your primary goal was to help your Senior parent to keep someone from taking advantage of them and still feel that you were anyway. To make matters worse, I opened up a line of credit to help pay for my Parents fridge and was told that he’ll give us a call tomorrow to help stretch it to a 24 month deal. Well, this turned out to be a lie just to get us out the door because they were closing and assumed they were tired of looking at us. Malachi should be ashamed of himself for the way he handled me and my Mom and would never buy from this location again. My mistake was not walking away after the first incident happened to stay and allow more of the same to transpire. We should’ve took our money somewhere else as we will be contacting their District Manager soon.Item Review: It’s just now over the 15 day return policy and my Parents do like the fridge and need that warranty for the future. One good thing is that they had more appliances that we like compared to Lowe’s and Home Depot.
