They even allowed me to check out their garage and made me feel comfortable. I purchased the side steps and will definitely be going back to replace the factory roof rack for a Baja Rack.Thank you!

I ordered on July 4th, I recently found out the order wasnt even placed. Everytime I called I was placed on hold. Im an understanding/fair person. I gave them more than 6 calls and from July-Dec to figure it out. I ordered a tonneau cover for my truck. I actually called Retrax directly and spoke with the supervisor. They told me no orders we placed and they were behind on orders but not MONTHS behind. I ended up ordering one directly from them for an even better deal black friday. I called today to see what happened to my refund...they heard me out and placed me on hold AGAIN for over 30 mins. Everytime I call Im placed on hold for more than 30 mins. This is unfair and horrible customer service. I spent $1264 on a roof top tent which was ordered July 4th and came end of Sept. I also ordered the Retrax $1835 same day and its December now so theres that. Why do I have to call multiple times for a follow up? Why wasnt my order placed and they took my money? Why wasnt the manager involved? There is so sense of urgency or responsibility. Again, I gave them plenty of time and calls to fix this. I cannot recommend using their service. Ever.

If I could give them ZERO stars I would. BEWARE if you order from this inept company and need to get a hold of them GOOD LUCK! I order some rear leaf springs 9 days ago and no update for shipping JUST NOTHING! So I called and waited 1:25 minutes on hold to be disconnected when it said I was next in line. They are using COVID as an excuse for their inept service but yet I ordered from AMAZON one day ago and all parts are already shipped. NEVER AGAIN WILL I ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

I ordered shocks on their website, on a Monday, to be picked up at their store in Oakland. They called me the next day to verify the lift on my Jeep and said that they would call when the shocks were in and to call them at the end of the week if I hadnt heard anything by then. On Friday, I hadnt heard anything so I called them and they said it would be 2-3 weeks until they got them. This was too long for me to wait, so I cancelled the order and was told it would take 3-5 business days to get a refund. At the end of the next week I still hadnt gotten my refund so I called them and was told that they hadnt processed my refund yet and that they would do that and it would take an additional 2-3 business days to get it. At the rate this is going I am actually going to be kind of shocked if the refund shows up and may have to take them to small claims court.
No masks, no customer service, taking the concept of no contact all wrong!Ordered a front hitch on July 5th. Paid $182.99 vs $122.19 on Amazon and $169 on etrailer.com thinking that ordering it from somewhere nearby Id get it sooner. Big mistake!Got order confirmation but never a notification I could come pick it up. Went to the store in July 8th, and manager told me it wasnt in, and hadnt been ordered but would be order right away.Still no word July 13th so I stop in again. Turns out it is there I just hadnt been notified yet.In addition to the poor service and higher price only 1 out of 5 employees I encountered was wearing a face covering despite a statewide mandate and this location being in a particularly hard hit zip code for covid-19. Multiple customers entered with no masks and staff said nothing.Higher prices, longer waits, and greater health risks than ordering online. Why would I ever recommend or come back here!?!?

I took my 3 moths old Jeep Wrangler to get LED headlights & fog lights replacement to 4WP. Store in Oakland opened on time on 9a.m. Finally, around 2 p.m. they called me to let me know that Headlights were installed but they didnt have fog lights kit for my Jeep because is a new model. I went home somehow unhappy without LED fog lights. Next day checking my new headlights I noticed a black tape falling from the bottom of my Jeep. Got my flashlight my surprise 2 screws were also missing, then, I went to the other side one screw missing. Really People? Couple of weeks later I took my Jeep to Freddies Electric auto in SF. They installed my LED fog lights no problem & the guy told me that he found some holes without screws underneath so he managed to put me some new ones there. So,Next time I need something new for my Jeep you guys know which place I can trust now.
Place is nice but like I read on other comments. Three stars because a guy, that was busy with another customer, was way more helpful than the guy (didnt get his name, looked Asian to me) that help me without taking his eyes off the computer. Had some questions before my purchase but lost interest on asking to a wall.Three star because the other guy seemed like a pretty cool guy, attentive. Would have definitely purchase the RTT from him.
I made a simple online order (FZJ80 front bumper) and selected it to be picked up in store, received a call from the shop manager the following morning (I ordered it online out of hours the night before) to confirm theyd received my order and was told it would be between 2-5 days (this was also shown online when I ordered).Received a Voicemail the next day telling me my bumper had arrived.Drove up their that afternoon and the guy behind the counter was polite and on point, asked me to pull round so he could help me load it. I pull around and park and the guy from the counter and a co-worker load the bumper for me and send me on my way!No complaints at all, fast and super efficient.
If youre interested in adding accessories or lifting your vehicle this is the place. Friendly staff and conveniently located. Come early parking is limited
Love this place, ordered all my pro comp all terrain tires from them.
Service left a lot to be desired. From ordering the wrong parts, to installing the wrong parts, to the hack job they performed for tire clearance, grease all over the floor mats, and many hours wasted waiting. They clearly do not have there scheduling well managed nor the expertise or professionalism I was looking for. On a more positive note, they are very eager to fix their mistakes.
The guys at this shop are the best. Ive always received top notch customer service from these folks. Once, Ive had an online order issue, went to this shop to correct the problem, and within the next week, issue was resolved and received my missing items from order.
These guys cannot follow up or return a call to save their lives. 6 times Ive had to drive into their shop to follow up on a missing wheel cap and every time Im old they will order it and call me back in a couple days. Never happens! Brian the manager says to call him direct if something is wrong...hes been the worst at follow up. If its a part they have in stock and dont ming over-paying for it, go for it. But if it requires any kind of service...stay away.
Quick in and out for the part I needed
I like the place because they always have good information and they can install parts well and reliably. The problem is, everytime I call they put me on hold for about 15 minutes. This current call Im on, ive been on hold for 20 minutes. Its ridiculous. Ive been into the store and they put people on hold for a long time even if theres nobody in there. Dissapointing, and seems like something that would be easy to fix.
I was very happy with the customer service here. The work they did was nothing less than great. Will aways come here for repairs and upgrades.

These sales representatives are clueless. I called with the sole purpose of researching the Bilstein 5125 series for my custom project. The guy obviously had no idea what bolt to bolt and travel lengths meant because he had to call Bilstein and consult with them only to tell me that I need a shock that had the same extended length as what my bolt to bolt length was. I guess Ill take my business elsewhere then, Fred.

Always helpful staff, been coming here since the late 90s. Theyve done work and provided parts for my Jeeps and Trucks they do it all.
The service guys look like they hate you and there job! The attitude here is of annoyance and you feel that they dont want to have to deal with you. Then when theres a problem well lets just say its your problem and they will only do the least posible. My advice check the date codes on all tires you buy here and dont accept tires over a year old! Also shop around for better deals but beware if you try and have them price match they will be not happy and you will understand what I mean about the attitude you will get. The manager Peet was nice to match prices but then couldnt be bothered to see me or help me further.
I have been a customer of 4 Wheel Parts for years on multiple vehicles and have always been treated well. This was my first time going to the Oakland store and the manager Pete rocked it out and totally took care of me! I have to say out of the multiple stores Ive been to in a few different states, Oakland is by far the best experience I have had.
I dont recommend this place I had a bad experience they dont know their products when I asked about the quality of what I was buying they really couldnt tell me all I could find out was that were made in China which means theyre junk nobody in this country has the balls to make a halfway decent product from this country its all about the money not the quality
