The item I purchase appears to hold up. HUBCAPS! They didnt fit extra snug on the rim. But, everything appears okay. Was at this autozone this afternoon to buy a new battery for my girlfriends car. After removing the old one and putting the new one in place. We realized the post was broken and sunken down, like someone had dropped it. At first we thought the casing was just made like that. Neither of us are really car people, so we didn’t notice at first. As I was removing it, I tilted it slightly and it poured battery acid all over my legs and and shorts. I rushed myself inside and spent 30 minutes with the shower rinsing my legs. As of writing this I still have some irritation, should be fine though. The response from autozone was less than good though. After getting out of the shower, we bagged up the battery to return it, about an hour after purchasing. The same woman who seemed helpful just a bit earlier was now very rude and disrespectful. She told us, after we we mentioned the whole acid thing, that we should have pointed out that the battery was broken before finishing the transaction. We told her we didn’t know it was broken. She tried to argue with us about giving us a refund even though earlier she told us to bring it in under warranty in a year on a 3 year warranty to just get a new one even if it’s working. Probably good for business right? But later, while we were upset but not trying to be rude, she “doesn’t have the time for that.” That said, we did get the refund after she was rude to the customer in front of us. We were offered another battery, but we decided to go to orielley on Broadway and had a much nicer and professional experience. Also, this is the second battery I have bought at this location. The last one being about a year ago, and it just died on me this week. Will not be back to this store when there are much better ones close enough.Edit: just to clarify, she was very helpful during the first visit and came and checked our battery life right away when we asked. But the second visit after getting burned by a broken battery went very poorly.

Shout out to yoshika (and another nice man) who helped me fix my brake lights! They took time to tell me which lights were out, helped me get the right light, and ensured I installed them correctly. Truly their kindness put me in such a good mood and was a great way to start the Friday 🏋️‍♀️

Came in for a replacement battery and Sebastian was super helpful and friendly! Replaced it for us on the spot. Well come back to this location whenever we need auto parts.

DO NOT COME HERE. I have had the worst and most embarrassing experience. I walked in 20 minutes before they close asking to buy a battery for my motorcycle. I talked to Kendra. So she can help me identifying the right battery for my motorcycle. And immediately she told I don’t want to do it because it’s going to take time. I have never seen someone complaining about doing a simple task that is part of his job. Than she started giving attitude saying that she has to do other things before she gets ready to close. So I asked the other guy who completely ignored me. People here are very lazy with a very bad attitude. I promise that you guys are loosing customers and I am one of them with such attitude like kendra’s. I will never shop at autozone again. I am definitely going to OReilly the service is way better. I really felt that I was humiliated in this place

The staff are really nice and helpful, security guard helped check my battery, he told me the battery was weak and recomended to get a new one so i got a new one and this guy Sam helped me take out the old one and replaced the new one! he was super nice and very helpful!! thank you so much.

Autozone on 27th has officially messed up my day I woke up early have to be to work rushed here they SUPPOSED to open at 7:30am and they are not I called and they answered they are open but there not open this is definitely an inconvenience to me this is awful and the service is already bad corporate needs to do something like fast

Never have what I need and are way over priced. Staff are friendly though but make sure you lock your doors or you will have your car robbed.

Very convenient, and fair prices on most items, and less expensive on others. Well stocked, but if they happen to be out of what your looking for, the turnaround on the order process is pretty quick. Enjoy this place like I enjoy my car. If you like working on your car or making improvements to it, youll love this store also. This would be almost like a second home( depending how much time or love you put into your car, or how much you like to keep your car maintained.

This place is always a nightmare. Inattentive, chaotic and all served up with attitude. I think I heard the staff use the n-word at least 20 times when referring to eachother AND customers. So you can throw any professionalism out of the door. If you make the mistake of going to this location be prepared to practice patience if you want to accomplish anything.

Convenient location, stock a bit low - area looks sketchy, but found parts I was looking for.

There are two people (that I know of) working there who are great. But otherwise if you dont get lucky that they are there to help you, you will be ignored. And expect to stand around while nothing happens, and just when your anger and contempt become overshadowed by a dull, vacuous mental fog, you will be called to come forward. Will you even remember what you had come to get? Dont expect any patience from the employee who called you. Better snap out of it quickly. After all, you are wasting THEIR time now.Otherwise this is a fine store. It just tests my patience every time I have come here--except once. Thats when I got lucky and had a great employee help me. Damn, that was a good day, in retrospect...

It was on Wednesday November 27,2019 around 6:00pm I was going to purchase a new car battery but they refused battery installation saying theyre short on staff but I could see a lot of Employees walking aroundThanks to OReilly Auto parts on 4400 Broadway, Oakland, they happily do it!

Consistently amazing how this place manages to NEVER have the things I need, even basic air filters or automotive chemicals. Literally years of disappointment. Also always the longest wait time at the counter, so it takes 45 minutes to not get the things you need. Upside: the staff has always been super helpful and friendly. Props to them. Wish I could leave THEM a good review.

Ive been here a dozen times and pretty much always found the staff to be friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Yeah youll probably be waiting in line for a while, but thats the nature of the business when every customer has unique needs. This place feels like a part of the community and as you wait your turn, its nice to pass the time by chatting about life and cars with the other customers and the security guard (who is also very nice and even helps people with their vehicles). In other news, parkings a breeze and theres plenty of inventory on the shelves.

Very friendly employees. They processed my return quickly. By the time I was ready to check out, there was a line of people, but they helped everybody quickly and with a good attitude. Their parking lot is also a good spot to do quick DIY things like an oil or air filter change.

Came in for new windshield wiper blades, and the staff was very friendly and helpful! I went home to install but was confused by the extra connectors provided in the packaging ( I didnt realize that I wouldnt need to install a connector - my 4runner was compatible with the exiting connector). I returned to the store with my car to ask for some guidance and they helped me understand the mechanism very quickly! Thank you AutoZone on 27th for the great service!

Everyone who works here is clearly overwhelmed but happy to provide good service. I wish they would get more staff here. The parking lot is sketchy and they have a security guard here because I guess they need it? Dont expect to get out of here quickly no matter what youre trying to buy or do.

The parking lot has alot of oil spots. Needs to be cleaned . Getting out of car you may step on the oily concrete and slip. Thats not safe. The clerk took a moment from ending a return transaction for a customer to show a new person how to do those kind of returns. Making the next customer to wait longer.

Not a good place to go when dark

Nastiest, rudest, inept ppl Ive ever had the displeasure of speaking with...

I needed a high pressure hose, and on the way to the store we misplaced it, and we thought the whole trip was gonna be a waste of time, and we had to go all the way back home to get another piece. Determined to figure it out, I thought maybe I could see all the different hoses and some how remember which one we needed by memory... So, after telling our situation to the employee at AutoZone, he allowed me to follow him, to the back of the store to see if I could remember which one it was. (Probably not the case on all occasions.. )It was a tough call I might add, (their were several different kinds of hoses that look very similar) definitely a lot more than I had planned on! Luckily, I did pick the correct hose, and I was able to get the job done thanks to AutoZone and their awesome customer service!

Friendly and helpful staff. Bit of a long line when I went around 6:30pm on a weekday. Awesome that theyll install battery for free when you buy one from them, but a little annoying they wont install after 6pm (even though theyre open til 9).

Eric and Fernando are awesome! Eric went above and beyond average customer service. Even though it was 8:30 p.m. he installed my battery and made sure I was able to get home safely. I dont go to auto parts stores but this is the only one I will shop at now.
