SCAM — buyer beware!!!!! This company will NOT refund money and doesn’t not have items in stock nor have they shipped a $750 item. Complete lie. False and NOT a real company. Utter scam. They accepted an order for an in-stock countertop with 2 day delivery. Then when they took 7 days of jumping thru hoops, 3x 45 min calls to their “support team” the best they had to say was “it is in stock, let me ask the warehouse” AFTER I requested a refund. It is a scam. A ripoff. Save your money! We had builders in our place and they cannot finish the work because the countertop did not arrive. Now they are leaving for another job. All I asked was “refund the online order, the time has passed.” They told me multiple times they would “escalate” the case. Never did I reach the supervisor who could do anything and the one I DID speak to- honestly said “you wanted to talk to a manager, here I am — what do you want?” OMG! Do NOT try and call their customer support. They are useless. They read a script, talk over you, parrot the same thing time and again and do not offer to do anything. ZERO. This kind of service in the internet age is tragic. They are truly frauds.They are just a SCAM.
Do not trust steve. do not trust the headquarters. they are all crooks. steve over sold my cabinet order by adding in bathroom cabinets because bathrooms were on the plans when i only asked for kitchen cabinets. it took some time for my project to be ready for install so i did not know until the cabinets were assembled at extra costs that i had 4 sink cabinets when i only needed 1 and none were the size of my sink. steve finally agreed to pick up some of the extra cabinets. they did, but they never refunded my money. now they have the cabinets AND the cash and they are telling me its been more than 30 days so no refund. corporate has promised to call me back 4 times and still has not done that. steve is a fraud and a liar. dont trust him.
Horrible customer service from supposedly the store manager Steve. Truly must be a miserable individual as he treated myself and another friend who came previous in a very rude and callous manner. I would not recommend going to this place for anything because of this miserable individual.
The manager really knows his stuff! Takes time with you to find out what you want. Great prices, too!
Horrific Experience BUYER BEWARE. I AM CALLING THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU after I post this. Sales rep ordered unnecessary parts (which I paid for and cannot return), design was done erroneously up until the installer came and tried to move things around to make it better. STEVE and OMAR showed zero customer service skill in resolving just kept telling me I had to make some decisions to fix their bad design and errors. Additional parts missing at warehouse had to be bought by 3rd party installer. AND thats just the cabinets who knows how much more I will need to add to rate their counter top and crown molding!
The store manager, Rose is very rude in attitude. She doesnt follow up and not willing to follow up the order delivery. She is not helpful at all. The store opened an hour after the business hour and closed earlier than they posted.This company is crazy. They said they deliver cabinets from Tennessee. They would not tell you the cabinet is made in China, and ship to Tennessee, then ship to your regional store, then to your home. They said deliver 2 to 3 weeks, by the way they do business, I dont think they can keep their promise in every case. In my case, I waited 10 weeks and only 2/3 came. They dont return ANY cabinets, even they break the contract. They only sell you cabinet. They dont follow up if it is coming timely. They dont care if the shipment is complete. They dont care your feeling. They dont care if their contracted installer is doing good work or not. They only want your money. Their mission is selling cabinet and no more
Please, whatever you do, stay far far away from Cabinets To Go! In the beginning, it was great. We had a blast working with Sean designing our kitchen. It was just awesome and he did a great job making it look great, but that is where the good vibes end.It took double the quoted time to receive our cabinets. Getting Sean (our designer) and/or Kevyn (the manager) to reply to your emails and/or phone calls in nearly impossible.My cabinet installer informed me that we were missing 3 parts (that Sean promised everything would be included), well he mislead us as they were not included. Two of them, not a problem, ran to Home Depot to replace them. The issue was our wine rack cabinets we ordered. They were not included in the shipment to our house. After hounding for days, Sean and Kevyn finally responded with the wine racks were sent to Oakland Showroom (where we ordered our items). Why? We never had anything shipped to the showroom, we had everything shipped directly to our house. They refused to send the wine racks via overnight (as I’m paying our installers by the day and they had nothing to install without the wine racks) and they would only send it via ground. To add further injury, the wine racks are too tall. Sean designed the kitchen himself and they wine racks didn’t fit, they were two inches taller than the rest of the cabinets. (Something both Sean and Kevyn have yet to respond to me about).Kevyn has promised a refund, but of course never any follow through. So please, I beg of you, save yourself agony and purchase your cabinets elsewhere. Cabinets To Go is absolutely nothing but a nightmare and a headache.
Very bad experience. Unreliable, wrong items and measurements given at the end. Totally unsatisfying service from these people. Especially dealing with Steve the manager of this branch and Kenny the regional manager, they were very rude to begin with and unprofessional. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
Update Oakland location: 8/9/18 and still project not complete. Communication continues to be an issue not just for me but for the counter top vendor they are contracted with. Everything is delayed due to communication issues. More staff???? I dont know but this is frustrating and I have been patient long enough. Ive had my cabinets installed for 2.5 month(s) and finally had the template done for my counters (done by Pentagon Surfaces/Haus Pro) over 2 weeks ago. I called to find out the status to be told it is on hold and they have been trying to contact C2G to release the hold. Why? I called C2G to get this done and my sales rep isnt in (which seems to be the case all the time) and the girl there cant help? I am about to cancel the order. Sorry C2G...Ive waited long enough and now submitting a complaint w/BBB. I did get my missing items 1 month later. My opinion is there isnt enough staff at this location and the manager (also my sales rep is trying to do it all and failing).Work in progress. Some communication and missing item issues (still being addressed). Quality is good but not as sturdy as I thought they would be. They look nice. Will post pic and update when project complete. (Still waiting on counter top part of project)
First of all I will say that the staff is very nice and do seem to try to solve problems. Unfortunately the problems with our kitchen cabinets took a long time to solve and some are still waiting. Im not sure if this is a local office problem or a corporate problem but none the less it has been a seven month and counting journey. In general the cabinets assemble and install easily. The quality is good except when they are a veneered edge(shelf) I had two peel off. Not all the products came with instructions. The wall oven cabinet is not very good quality and did not fit my oven even though I gave measurements at the time of design and followed the alterations plan.We spent a lot of time to get it to fit correctly and be strong enough. As for my order many things were missing and a few were broken. Im still waiting for my backslash to my bathroom vanity. It was broken before they shipped my order, they waved my shipping and promised to send a new one ASAP. That was in May and it is now almost January. The other damaged items were not replaced for about five months. I have received several things that still to this day I do not know what they are for. Too many emails and phone calls to count!! As I said before I am still not sure if the problem is with the Oakland branch or the corporate office or both. I just want to get this done and over with. I hope your experience is better than mine!!!!
Worst experience possible. Almost 2 months later, I do not have all my kitchen cabinets, apparently they lost one. They also ordered the wrong crown molding. It does not match the measurements. No follow up, no call backs, nothing. I would not recommend the Oakland office to anyone. Worst customer service ever.
Dont ever buy cabinets from this company. Its absolutely ridiculed. And communications and Customer relations.Complete nightmare experience.
We needed to get cabinets in a hurry because our original order with a competitor was damaged. In under 3 weeks we had a brand new set of cabinets picked out and installed. I would recommend them to anyone!
