I been to many coffee shops and they’re different. The drink fusions and the beans are sourced from really unique places making them really stand out. You owe it to yourself to come here if you like coffee.

Happy little find. Filled beignets. Lightly sweetened little donuts with chocolate dipping sauce. Coffee good. Oak milk decaf great and a different taste but definitely good. Free samples around.

We picked up an iced coffee and some beignets with delicious hazelnut & chocolate filling. It was a nice treat. We drive through here often and Ive been wanting to stop by, and was not disappointed. I will return to try everything else on the menu!

This drink was soooo good and so pretty! It tasted good and I have tasted a good amount of coffees before and this one was good! The employee who helped me was nice and the environment was a nice vibe.

So one of my favorite places to get Vietnamese coffee is here at Orbit. Naysayers will say its not as good or its cheaper at a Vietnamese coffeeshop or cafe. I say if price is really the issue, you can buy a can at Asian supermarket for 99 cents! The quality here is in the taste and the beans used. Strong and dark with just right amount of sweetness. Their beignets are delicious as well and good for sharing the calories.

Everything was good but those paper straws made it hard to drink my coffee.. bring your own straw :)

Usually, this place isnt bad, but yesterday was terrible. The dude filling the order took forever. The other person with him didnt seem to notice or care. He looked like he was intentionally going slow. I dont expect workers to rush for me, but this was exceptionally bad. He seemed annoyed. Took almost 20 minutes with only one person ahead of us in line. On top of that, the person behind us with a more complicated order got theirs first. Then we didnt even get our whole order, but we had to run so we paid extra for terrible service. We didnt even have a bad interaction, just ordered and waited. Had too rush to work after that.

Stuff was nice, helpful! Very pricey for the one regular coffee, two packs of there bucket of donuts, and 2 small chocolate milks. 50+bucks.It was a great gift for my niece, she had a good time but expressed it wasnt what she thought that was pictured online.

Previous employee here: absolute worst place to work. Do not apply. Was terminated with no warning in the middle of a global pandemic. Espresso is served way past the time that is acceptable to serve it and is often expired, everything but the donuts is pre-made and just reheated when you order it. Beignets come frozen out of a box and go into a toaster oven. They care more about the drinks appearance than the quality. Wealthy family from the city trying to guise as a locally owned Oakland coffee spot. Just go to Starbucks. Albeit all this, the Vietnamese coffee is great and the OJ is fresh squeezed every morning. But still…. just go to Starbucks or something.

The coffee was absolutely delicious. i enjoyed every sip. i also got the mini donuts but i would check in with them before going because i believe they said today was the last day there were serving them. other than that i will definitely be coming thru wherever i’m in oakland.

Great coffee. Just wish they had menus posted instead of having to scan a code and wait for a download of a menu.

First discovered Orbit through Instagram. Looking at the photos of coffee and donuts, definitely wanted to try it out. I finally got time to be away from my busy schedule to come and try it. They have very good coffee. I tried the Sweet Saturn Iced Coffee and my boyfriend had gotten Dark Matter Iced Coffee both were refreshing. We also got the bucket donuts and they were very warm and fresh! Definitely will be back! 😊

The Vietnamese cold coffee, over ice, was great. I had the large. I almost bought a jug but decided to try it first. Next time I will.I also bought the donuts. They were fresh and hot. I should have gotten them without the cinnamon sugar though as with it, its too sweet for me. Came with a chocolate dipping sauce. Very friendly staff and mask protocols are in effect. Next time, Ill try some of the other food choices. Ill be back.

Homeless man came up to be and was eyeing my dontd so I gave him one then a very nice and considerate lady that was working there handed him some more.Excellent customer service. Extra nice and patient. Easy going staff. Lovely astronomy decorations of planets in orbit and rockets.Clean and well maintained. The donuts were perfectly chewable but not too soft. Easy to digest. Waffle was also fluffy and easy to chew. They have an excellent variation of coffe.My son absolutely loved this place. The price is also fair. Come early or expect a line. Lovely place in Oakland

OMG, such good Vietnamese coffee! I love sweetened condensed milk and coffee and this place makes a really great version. A friend introduced me to this place during a quick weekend trip (he lives in the area, I dont) and now Im pretty much obsessed. Great coffee flavor, slightly sweet and creamy but not over powering. It is soo good. Cant wait to go back!

Loving the rich caramel in my coffee, its amazing. First time trying the burrito and i love it, goes well with the coffee. The location is very cool. Good set up for keeping distance as you order. Menu is easy to see and the options are amazing. I had the sweet Saturn and it was phenomenal. The girls were awesome on service. The sandwiches come as is because they are premade at their other location. Not an issue. Just a heads up

I have been here a few times and each time has been a great experience. Located in West Oakland right down the street from Bart. The lines here can be long but they move so fast that you dont notice the wait. The coffee comes out nice and strong! While the donuts and Beignets come out nice and warm. So if you are in the area and in the mood for some nice strong coffee and a sweet treat give them a try.

I really appreciate the people who work here! We make a 45 minutes drive almost every weekend to get the Dark Matter. My husband is obsessed with this drink. Today we went and the card reader was having issues. I also didn’t have cash. The manager was really kind enough to give us the drink on them. Thank you!

We ordered the Dark Matter, a mocha, the Crucible chicken sandwich, and a bahn mi wrap. Everything was delicious! This is definitely our new favorite and we will be coming back for sure. All the stars. 10/10.

The place itself was cool and the people working their was cool too. If you go here though their coffee isnt the greatest but they do have many creative drinks. They serve their Vietnamese coffee for samples and is probably their best selling drink and rightfully so because it is actually delicious!

NO VEGAN FOOD OPTIONS: I have not been able to eat donuts here only because they refuse to have vegan or dairy free options. I have been told that they were changing the menu and to check back in. The only thing I saw that was dairy free was Bahn mi, though still not vegan. As for the Coffee, Orbit does provide other options like soy, almond or oat milk, its not quite the same as a Vietnamese coffee with coconut cream.

Ok lets talk Orbit. I just paid $10 for 4 donuts; 2 glazed, 2 chocolate old fashioned. The glazed donuts were cold (I mean refrigerator cold) and one of the densest donuts Ive ever bitten into. I expect a glazed donut to be light and fluffy. Not this one. The chocolate old fashioned was O-K. Ive had worse Ive had better. The only reason why Im giving this place 3 stars is because the staff was friendly and great. Plus I havent tried some of their other dishes. But Ill never return for donuts.

Coffee here is excellent. The staff is super friendly and very helpful when deciding what drink you want. The Banh Mí burrito was really tasty and paired well with my Dark Matter drink. Will most definitely be coming back again to try more of the menu.

The coffee here is really good, they know how to pull espresso properly. Got a glazed donut and sausage breakfast burrito. The donut was decent but pretty standard and not quite worth the $2.50 price tag. The breakfast burrito was fine, but not terribly memorable. Would highly recommend for a coffee and donut stop.

First experience the beignets had been served warm and fresh. Today they were ice cold and not as flavorful.. a woman who worked there also did not wear her mask and approached everyone in line 😳

I live in the neighborhood, I love supporting local businesses and I hate to leave this review but I consider it an improvement opportunity. 8am in the morning I bought 3 not cheap glazed donuts and they were all doubtlessly stale. Some customers may be ok with that if warned and charged less but, as it is, I felt ripped off and wont be buying from them again.

They have vietnamese iced coffee and amazing donuts, along with savory stuff like breakfast burritos and grilled cheese! Its very cute inside and whenever I come back I see something new and exciting on the menu. The owner, Paula, is really sweet and fun to talk to as well!!

Great Coffee Joint in the neighborhood. The waffles can taste better. Just add more cream or coconut cream. Love to come back.

Not great to be honest. The store front is cute and the service was good, the sitting area is nice for the set up, but thats it.The coffee was... Well it was basically 7/11 coffee. Maybe they just messed up that batch, but it was basically the water with coffee essence that you get at free places that are required to have coffee but dont really want to make it. So at $3 dollars for 16 ounces, please be half as good as Starbucks at least; dont be 7/11 level, that seems unfair.The donut was fine, but thats it. I had what I think was a chocolate old fashioned, so it was a good and dense donut, right level of moisture. The chocolate coating was good, fudgey, mostly sweet, not Uber chocolatey though.So the place was fine, but it wasnt great at all. Hopefully I just caught it at a bad time (if 2pm is a bad time).

Been here for donuts twice. My hope, the second time, was that early morning donuts would be fresh and better tasting. Nope. Both times they were dry and tasteless. Not stale, just not good. I won’t be back.

The doughnuts are amazing.

Got the breakfast burrito, tasted real good. Only problem was the price. For a 8.00 burrito. I was expecting it to be bigger than 6 inches and wider than 1 inch and a half.
