I really like this storage unit location, based in Oakland off 14th and International. It is absolutely wonderful! The staff is helpful and always more than willing to ensure tenants/customers get the service they need and their needs are met with urgency and intention. They’ve always went above and beyond for me since purchasing a unit this past May. Safety is extremely important to me as someone who doesn’t have a secure place to stay and needs this unit to be able to keep my things safe and out of the way. I really appreciate the team at 1327 international! Shout out to Devonte, a new hire there, who went above and beyond for me yesterday, to help me purchase my SECOND additional unit at this location! I have a small 5x10 and a medium 7.5x10 ! Every time I visit the place is always clean and well managed which only makes it that much more of an enjoyable experience. Definitely worth your money considering all things mentioned above.

Theres a young man that works in the storage place and hes in his thirties but he was so helpful and nice and is a very hard worker he really helped us out a lot and went through a lot of changes and Beyond trying to please us and hes very good so thumbs up

I went into this location to discuss a promotion. I spoke with Keisha (this was the 1st time we met) for a little longer than an hour regarding my questions, concerns and personal needs in a storage unit (space and price). Keisha was so patient, responsive and supportive.While helping me she also helped about 6 other customers with their needs (payment, reservations and maintenance). At no point did Keisha seem irritated, overwhelmed or frustrated with me or any other customer. She was so kind and soft spoken. She explained things to me in detail over and over so I understood my options. At the end of our conversation I decided not to go with the new reservation and Keisha was not upset at all. She was completely understanding and supportive of my decision despite the fact she spent all of this time (showing me the unit space, checking information online and with management, and repeatedly breaking down my options). Keisha has amazing customer service skills. I have been with Public Storage for 4 years and was very impressed with Keishas responsiveness to me and the additional customers that day (the 1st of the month). Thank you again Keisha!!!!

I rented from Public Storage in El Cerritto until late last year. The manager was great and the access hours were really good but I left them because they went up on my rent by over $40 after just 6 months. I went to Safe Storage on Coliseum way and to be honest Safe storage is abysmal. This is my review. As consumers we are being cheated and this how:1. A 10 X 10 storage space is actually only 93 X 9 6 (It may not seem like much but it can be significant) (If nothing else it is deceptive and indicates a corporate mindset that says the customer is an idiot and we have them where it counts)2. Every storage facility I have called has the same policy. They increase your rent after the 1st 6 months and then every 9-12 months after that. The rental increase can range from 20% to more than 50% depending on the facility. (Think about that) They are increasing your rates even though they are not offering increased hours of operation, better service, cleaner facilities, nothing and yet they increase your rent. It is BS plain and simple. It is criminal because there is nothing you can do about it because every storage facility agrees to have the same policy so in effect you are dealing with a monopoly.There is nothing we can do about this because we are constrained by law and finances. I am not sure what to do about this but I know that no matter what I will never rent from Public Storage or any of the national sites again. I may have to pay more or downsize my storage needs but one way or another I will find a way to not be caught in their corporate greed. I love this country but the corporations that are in this country do not care one bit about their customers because they know they do not have too.

I have been renting from public storage for 13+ years through the best and worst of times. Through it all the treatment I have gotten from the staff and management has been stellar!! They have been fair, informative, friendly and accommodating. Scharneyse Edwards and formerly Lena, have made my stay very convenient.

The manager at this Public storage is amazing, I have had my unit for a year and have downsized and moved into a smaller unit since then. The manager is always beyond helpful, remembers my name and has helped me find an affordable unit multiple times. Hes pleasant, responsible and honestly I feel safe having my items stored here. Not to mention he remembers everyone so I trust that no one is wandering around the units that he is unaware of. This gives me peace of mind!

Amazing, patient service that goes the extra mile. Scharneyse was amazing when we were unloading our storage unit into a freight truck. The pallet jack broke, but she allowed us the time and space to make it happen. The next time I need a storage unit I’ll def go with Public Storage in Oakland.

Scharneyse called me immediately after I completed my online application and walked me through a few more options. She then set up my appointment for later that afternoon. Once I arrived, she gave me a tour of my storage unit, which was spotless, and then walked me through the paperwork. While we were signing the paperwork, she and I started talking about the community and I found her to be extremely insightful and engaging. Shes a native of Oakland and cares about our community as a whole and the neighborhood where I will be storing belongings - this is very important to me because it gave me a sense that this Public Storage was a safe and secure location. I would recommend this PS location to anyone.

Look getting a storage space always sucks. If I had to rate getting a storage space in life, Id give it a 1/5, but Scharneyse at this location made it bearable. If it wasnt for her smile and advice Id be paying for a room too big and wasting money. I hope to never deal with a storage space again, but Id personally follow Scharneyse at the front desk anywhere

Lena is the man, such a welcoming smile and very helpful. After 4 years worth of storage, i felt like i was also leaving my friend. I felt safe visiting my storage space and the staff has many cameras inside where they can also keep watch. The only problem i had here was paying my bill on time.
