Great service, and amazing selection of leathers, some furs, and tools to help you complete any leather working craft project. They also have prepackaged DIY kits for beginners, and offer classes once a week. I especially like their classes because you can use their tools.

Ventured out to Orem today to specifically look for gum tragacanth. I shouldve called in advance to see if they would have it, because when I got there, they didnt have any left and didnt even have it in the stock room - just my luck! It was a pretty decent leather goods store, as soon as you walk in you are welcomed by the lovely smell of leather! I was impressed to see they also had do-it-yourself kits of how to make a leather bag 💼 👜. All the holes are already pre-punched in the kit, so all you need to do is manually put it together. There was a cute little 🛒 shopping cart and some toys in it for the littles if you bring small kids 👧🏻 so they can entertain themselves while you explore the place. They had different kinds of leather cuts, colors, and varieties. They had different soft leather to choose from, whether youre planning on upholstering a piece of furniture, or your 🚗car seats💺! They also had pieces of (more) stiff leather. There was also a wall of chemical compounds to choose from to care for your leather goods. There was a friendly guy employee who helped me initially, super friendly and genuine. There was also an employee named Maya (who seemed to be the manager) who this employee asked about a question he needed help with. Maya wasnt as friendly at first in her interaction with me (no warm smile, or didnt act like she was happy to see us), but as soon as she found out I was a Yelper, she became more warm towards us (shrugging shoulders).

Good place to buy leather goods.

Great service and they helped me right away. They have everything for leather supplies, for making belts or small pieces for bookmaking. Great place with great service. I was in and out within ten minutes with no problem.

Low quality leather at maximum markups. The girl even tried to tell me a few low quality thin pieces were full grain leather and thought I wouldn’t know the difference. Not worth the time or money.

Great place for beginner leather workers

If you are looking for a leather project, or just coming to get some tools and leather, or coming to learn this is the place. I go to many different places but this store is the best.The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They are also helpful and will make suggestions fit for you.It is wheelchair accessible and has parking. They have curbside pickup as well as instore purchases.If you are concerned about masks, they wear one and make sure your safety is #1.If you desire to educate yourself on leather, their website is an invaluable tool to find the proper leathers and uses for your projects. The store always has something new. I reccomend if you have a project, come loaded with questions.Thank you for the Awesome staff that work there.

I have a very hard time breathing in masks and while I was here, had to take it off for a min so I could breathe. The gal asked me to put it back on and when I told her I couldnt breathe she simply said sorry. So I had to leave...

This store made it very clear that they dont respect the rights of disabled individuals. They were pretty clear that it was their corporate policy to no recognize the rights of men and women or children who have any permanent disability.If youre a person who supports any type of cancer treatment organization, Epilepsy foundation or any other one of those people who are suffering from chronic illness. I would recommend not shopping at this place.

It seemed like a quality place. I just came to pick some holes on a belt that didnt fit me so I could wear it and they were very nice and helped me out for free. They let you use the leather working tools they have there, but I guess it is store policy that they cannot do it themselves. That was fine with me because I got to punch the holes in my own belt which was a fun experience, and now my belt fits and I didnt even have to pay anyone!

The first time I went here was a great experience. But the second time took the cake. The store manager was incredibly helpful and showed me where and how to use all the equipment. She was kind, knowledgeable, and a great help. I will definitely be going back very soon.

Every time I go into this store the staff is always friendly and very helpful. I had a strip of leather tear, I took it in thinking I would have to leave my piece there and come back a couple of days later and pay $15 or so, nope they took me into the back and gave me a scrap piece of leather that match my piece perfectly and taught me how to make what I needed, then refused to take my money. I am a customer for life!! Highly recommended.

I sent my boyfriend here with my leather bracelet because the snap was really loose, and it kept falling off. He went here while I was at work to get it fixed. They said aren’t supposed to do that kind of stuff, but they would show him how to use their tools to do so. The lady demonstrated how to do it, (and just fixed it herself), and handed the bracelet back to my boyfriend. They didn’t even charge him! And the new snap is keeping the bracelet secured.They were a huge help!

I visited Tandy this afternoon to buy a spool of thread. I left with a single shoulder of veg. tanned leather, two spools of thread, a belt blank and leather shoe laces. This is a great store, well stocked with a friendly and knowlegeable staff. Im truly a kid in a candy store when I am at Tandy.

Sher and the crew are awesome, we come a long ways to buy our supplies and we bring the whole family when we come! The staff treats us like family and never show it if they get tired of our hundreds of questions and dont seem to mind helping us find he hundreds of things we want to look at, even if we dont buy everything they show us. We cant wait for our next trip to the city so we can visit!

I have shopped there for many years. Amazing service. Yesterday I asked them how to use a tool -- Sure! They led me their workbench and showed me how AND showed me what the results look like if done wrong. Even there were another leather supply shop in the valley, I would still go here.
