Very unorganized. Called on a Friday with a coolant system leak. Ask if they did radiator system repairs and after a lengthy lecture about how radiators are just replaced these days the very condescending employee asked if I meant coolant system. This should have been my sign. Asked about availability, said to bring it in first thing Monday morning. I was there at 7:30am. Got set up, dropped off. No call. No update. Nothing. Called at 11am the next day. They hadnt even touched it yet. They couldnt even tell me IF they would get to it on this 2nd day they had it. Even told them what was wrong, just needed a new water outlet. I was able to pick it up, drive 1/2 mile down the road to Hoods Up, who got me in by 1pm, and had the vehicle repaired by 4pm for half what Magic Mechanic quoted me. Go there, not here.

Beware of going here!I brought my car in when it was running hot and was charged $1700 for a botch job. It’s been a year since I went to the shop so my car hasn’t had problems till now. Now I am pulling my car apart to re-fix my car... the parts they replaced in my car were not torqued correctly and some pieces of the housing unit were put in too tight and cracked the housing. The replacement parts don’t need the gaskets they came with apparently because they used the same gaskets (or used a caulking method with silicon to hold it together). Thank you for the $1700 bandaid. I would call around for prices and help before coming here as you have to pay the diagnostic $100 no matter if you use them or not.

I had never been there before but was recommended by my long time mechanic to see if they could find an annoying noise in a used car I just purchased. They spent over an hour going through it very thoroughly and ended up finding the noise which was a loose roof rack. I was extremely pleased that they were able to find it and amazingly they did not charge me anything! Honestly, I feel guilty that they would not let me pay a thing for solving a very annoying problem for me. Chris was the technician that was so thorough and JD was very pleasant to deal with.

What else can I say? Another great visit to The Magic Mechanic! This time, I got the brakes done all the way around and let me say that my car has never stopped better! The team continually exceeds expectations, even during this hot and humid time of year! Thanks again for all of your efforts, guys!!!

Magic mechanic is my go-to shop for any repairs to my automobiles or trucks that I feel incompetent to do myself. They always do a great job and the expenses are very reasonable. I highly recommend this organization and well go there again in the future.

Heard about this place on WDBO radio figured Id give em a try. Everyone was very polite and professional. Had my rotors replaced and new pads was in and out in about an hour and 15 minutes the price was very reasonable. Will definitely be back.

These guys are straight shooters! I was told by Erdman Toyota I had a valve cover gasket leak. Came to Magic Mechanic for a second opinion. No leak detected! Wish I could take these guys back to Texas with me!

Dont go here.Went in for a standard oil change. Promised to get us in one morning, then on morning of cancelled on us and told us we had to drop it off overnight. Next afternoon, they call and tell us they want to do an unnecessary tune-up and quote me a 140$ repair. Later when we pick up, it turns out they had done a $100 oil change with a 10k mile oil we did not request and they charge $200 for the repair they quoted as $140. Not to mention they left our white car completely filthy with grime/grease stains.Money is tight during coronavirus... dont go here at this time. Find someone better.Ill be recommending to all my family and friends to avoid this business.

These guys do good work and theyre honest, they honor their warranty. That sounds like an oxymoron but the reality is that stuff happens even to the best. We cant say enough good things and do recommend them. The odds are that you wont have to rely on their warranty, but if you do, they keep their word.

I took my car in for a repair along with a related routine maintenance task. When I called, they advised me that I would be better served to come in mid week. When I arrived, they had my parts on hand and promptly took care of my problems. Theyre not cheap but the work was done right.

My daughter accidentally put diesel gas in her car, which she was supposed to use regular unleaded and they were able to fit me in immediately and beat all other prices we inquired about. Just a checkout of an old carI brought my 1983 Lincoln Continental for an estimate of required maintenance which should be done . I found out the car needs more work than Im willing to invest in, so I decided it is best not to invest in this old car. It still runs well enough and still has a comfortable ride and good appearance for its age, but there is not enough value in it to keep it maintained and to fix it up. I believe though the Magic Mechanic shop would be the garage of choice for such maintenance if I had decided to make the investment. I believe it is referred to as a mechanics special.

After Listening to Larrys radio show for a few years, decided to take my 2005 BMW M-3 to the Magic Mechanic to fix a misfire condition that three mechanics could not fix. Ron, the technician and staff were very helpful and spent 4 hours trying to find the problem. They did not have the right equipment to diagnose the problem, but tried anyway. They called and told me they couldnt fix the problem. When I arrived to pick up the car, they didnt charge me for their time trying to fix the problem. I was shocked. I offered to pay something for their time, but they refused. In the fifty years that I have owned various cars, they are absolutely the most honest mechanics I have ever met! If you have a problem with your car, take it to the Magic Mechanic!!!

(unlike my regular honda dealer who had no idea what i was talking about..lol) not only did they save me over 500.00 that my honda dealer quote me..BUT all i needed were 2 clips to fix and its like new ! got my oil changed with Amzoil for the first time. wow..i am serious when i say, when driving my car a few days..i swear the engine sounds more healthy without its usual gulps of power like before...wow. and i only have to get the oil changed now every 12 months ! I am very satisfied with this place. My mom told me to go here. I looked at Google reviews and noticed most the negative reviewers had done several reviews, all negative. So I disreguared their opinion. JD took the call and I asked if I could bring my own part in. I told him I had the codes read and have the part number. He said OK. He was so nice.When we arrived at the end of a Friday, Robert took care of us. He asked if we could wait a few days. We said sure. They had the car completed Monday and I was expecting about Thursday, so I was happy and surprised. Scott was the one to call and tell me it was ready. He also told me he changed the battery in my key Fob for six dollars and something. I said WHAT? Toyota said a few yrs ago that it would be 200. He said all it need was a battery and if you have another bring it in and I will change that too. I was so excited! and disappointed in Toyota. So husband took for test drive that night and check engine light came back on. We took back in and THEY looked at the codes this time. JB came out with my old part box and said April, you brought the wrong part. He wasnt mean or make me feel bad at all. I said can you order the correct part and fix it? I expected a few days. He made a call. Got the part in 15 mins and fixed the car right away as I waited.

Magic replaced their top notch good guys at the counter with someone new.. The old guys were great but the new guy is iffy.I may look elsewhere..

So my Jeep broke down again (it’s getting to be an ole timer) and the towing company convinced me to tow it to some auto repair shop that was close. Bad idea!!! They had it 2 full days and could not get it diagnosed. I had it towed out of there and to the Magic Mechanic (where I should have insisted the first time). It was towed on Monday afternoon and was finished Wednesday afternoon. Now this was not a small job but they always get the job done quickly. Apparently a diagnosis was not too difficult for them. BTW I did finally get a quote from the 1st place but I wasn’t feeling confident in this auto repair place. The quote I received from the Magic Mechanic was for MORE work and less money and no I didn’t show them the quote from the other place. They don’t play used car salesman here!!! More important the additional work was not a small thing and it frightens me that the other place didn’t even have this on their radar. You know I will just never be able to say enough kind words about these fantastic guys who care for my prized Jeep. I’m gonna have this vehicle for a very long time to come and I know I’ll be safe because of how well they take care of it for me. And special thanks to JD for all you do!

Excellent certified mechanics very fair price

The company I work for had a Ford diesel van that nobody could seem to fix. It was an intermittent problem where it would stall without warning and it would never happen at any of the mechanic shops when they had it. Im sure that ownership knows which company Im talking about LOL they stayed with it and kept on it and they found the problem and fixed it. This was a van that if lost to this problem would have cost the company $12,000. We thank you very much for your tenacity and professionalism. You truly are magic!

Recently had my 2008 GMC Sierra in for repair. Had a large oil leak and idling issues. First I would like to say the customer service is outstanding. JD is the best representative I have met in my many years dealing with mechanics. The complaint that I have is execution is lacking. This could be because they are extremely busy and do not have the time to inspect their final work. I rented a truck for a week to leave plenty of time to have the work completed. After a week I picked up my truck only to find that after driving my truck for 45 minutes, there was still a leak. A small one, but still leaking. I returned and JD said he would get me a rental at no charge when one became available. The next day we scheduled the truck to go in Monday and he would have a vehicle for me. I dropped off my truck and he had a vehicle there for me to use. When I returned later in the afternoon, they had not looked at my truck. Unfortunately, I need a truck to work out of and the vehicle that JD had for me was not a truck. I had to take my truck and schedule another time. I again made arrangements to rent a truck for a week and dropped off my truck for repairs. After a week my truck was repaired. While I was disappointed that I had to pay for a rental truck for 2 weeks, I can say that after the third return, they did a fantastic job. I want to reiterate that JD did everything he could to make it right which goes a long way. My truck was washed on my first visit which was a pleasant surprise and he made additional repairs on my third visit which he did not charge me for which assured me they are an honest shop. I hope in the future, that whomever worked on my truck, will take the time to do a final inspection to avoid all the unnecessary time and cost. I will return and I would recommend JD to anyone who needs their vehicle repaired.

This place is a RIP off in my opinion, especially with the Pandemic youd think they will do their best to help out. Ya know? Work with you a little. 4,000? Thats an down payment for a newer vehicle. Have your money right when you go up here.

All of the above and most importantly all of their staff is knowledgeable and my car is taken care of and fixed right the FIRST time. They are very prompt about telling me if they see anything that will need attention in the future which for me is imperative with my budget.

Ive had my vehicle in for a variety of repairs from minor, to major. Their estimates are always dead on balls accurate, and their work is stellar. The customer service there is second to none. They are not the cheapest, but FAR from the most expensive. They have made a few repairs for me ON THE SPOT FREE OF CHARGE!!! Try that at a dealership! I have full faith and confidence in them.

If I could give them less than one star I would! Brought my Toyota Sienna in for an AC repair and $2000 later, on my way home the van overheated, which killed the motor. And FYI they did a pressure test when I initially dropped off the van and it checked out fine. They are accepting no responsibility and told me I could either drop a new motor in it for $8500 or a used for $5700. I have advised my staff to no longer take any vehicles to this mechanic and suggest you do the same because you certainly dont want to do business with any company that is not willing to stand behind their work or mistakes.

It is VERY difficult to find an honest Auto Mechanic Shop. Happily, I have found one at the Magic Mechanic on Lee Road. J.D., the Manager and his staff are right up front, they have not suggested a single thing that I did not need, and they fixed my cars ( We have 2 cars, one six, and one seven years old ) right, the first time, every time. The one time that they did my brakes and there was a little squeak that developed after a couple of weeks, they took me right in, and got me back on the road... no hassle. Very pleased with the service, and will continue going there.

I have a Honda Pilot with over 200k miles. I had Magic Mechanic go through and replace all of the items under the hood that where due to fail. They did a great job, quickly and kept the cost very reasonable. I have been back several times for minor repairs outside of the original scope and they even completed some of the work for free. I love these guys!

This place deserves 100 stars!!!! I had a terrible car issue that I had for over a year and paid Mike Erdman over a thousand dollars to fix with zero results from them, side note don’t waste your time with that dealership. I brought my car to Magic Mechanic because my husband heard a person talking about the same problem I had with my car on their radio show. I called ahead and reserved a car two days in advance. Left my car there and rented a loaner for only $8.99 a day. Very nice price. A few days later they called and said my car was ready. After my terrible experience with Mike Erdman on Merritt Island I had my doubts. My car is fixed !!!!!!! And I didn’t spend over A thousand for absolutely nothing like before it was a fourth of the price and the car is like brand new!!!! I am so happy to know about a COMPETENT Mechanic I can rely on . I had emailed asking for a quote on repairing a blown head gasket as that was what i was told from 2 other mechanics. I wasnt confident in their diagnosis as neither of them wanted to perform a pressure test, so i emailed Magic Mechanic after hearing them on the radio for years. They explained how much the labor and parts would cost, but that a pressure test should be done first to confirm that was the issue, and that until the motor was opened up there would be no way to know what else was wrong with it.So i had the truck towed over there, and received a call 2 days later saying they were going to begin working on it. Next day they told me the truck passed the pressure test, and there was no reason to replace the head gasket. The water pump we had replaced a few days earlier was leaking and not an original Toyota part and that was where they wanted to start. I agreed, and they started working on the truck. Later that day, i got a call that they had replaced the water pump with an OEM pump and a new thermostat ( which had also been replaced a few days ago with the water pump). They had mentioned a few small issues i should keep an eye on and after a 12 mile test ride, the truck was running great, and no sign of getting hot.These guys are honest professionals, and fixed it right the first time. I plan to use them for all of my vehicles. They could have easily said it failed the pressure test, and needed a head gasket and charged me for it. Glad to have found them, and appreciate the high quality care and diagnosis they put forward.

I highly recommend Magic Mechanic! I had water leaking on the floor boards in my car, went to the dealer and they couldnt figure it out -- the dealer told me the AC drains needed clearing, which they did, but the problem continued. Thats when I reached out to Magic Mechanic, I explained what was happening and after taking a look at my car, they diagnosed the problem and fixed it...and no more water leaking in my car!!! Knowledgeable, professional, friendly service...Ill definitely use them for my service and repair needs going forward! Thank you, Magic Mechanic!!

Very disappointed in their service. Day 1: Dropped my vehicle off a little after 7 am. I had to call the shop twice to a status. Mid afternoon I was finally told what the diagnosis was. Service person also told me how busy he was and that he not eaten lunch yet (Why do I need to know this?). Was told the vehicle would be ready tomorrow morning and that I would be called when repairs complete. Day 2: Never received call from shop. I called shop around 1 pm. Spoke to service person who informed me that the parts did not arrive in the morning and that he just realized this (Question: Were the parts not delivered or were the parts not ordered?). Was told that parts will be delivered this afternoon and vehicle will be completed in the morning. Day 3: No call from shop in the morning. I called shop around 1:30 pm. Spoke to service person who told me that the work on my vehicle has not even started yet. The work on another vehicle needs to be completed before the technician can start on my vehicle. Was also informed that the vehicle being worked on by the technician has been in their shop for 10 days. Was then told that my vehicle may be completed sometime tomorrow. This is now the end of Day 3. Will I actually get my vehicle back tomorrow or will it be 10 days?In addition to the repair bill that I am going to receive, I am also paying for a rental vehicle. This shop has a very good reputation, but they have not demonstrated it very well with this visit. I am so disappointed with the lack of service and professionalism of the Magic Mechanic.Captains Log Day 4: Repairs completed on vehicle and vehicle back in my possession. Repair cost ended up being half of what I was originally quoted (Very happy about that). Not all of the parts that were not delivered on Day 2 were needed for repair.Hopefully this is a one off experience and not the beginning of a trend. As stated before, this shop has a good reputation and I would hate to see the service here go downhill. Ill upgrade my original rating of one star to three stars.

I came to magic mechanic with my truck and didnt know what was wrong with it. It was running really rough and since im no mechanic i wanted to leave it with a well respected shop. I left my truck and by the next day they called me to tell me they cantt fix it and my only solution is to buy a brand new engine from jaspar for $10,000 or a used engine with 80,000 miles on it. Me being a single father of two girls and no family alive to help me just couldnt afford it. Plus im paying 400 a month on the truck. So i was at my wits end. My good friend told me to get a second opinion on it and take it to his mechanic . i left it with him for a day and got a call the next morning. He sid it was the waterpump not the engine needless to say cost me $350 labor and parts and it is now fixed. I do not recommend magic mechanic to anyone unless your rich and dont mind being scammed. And personally i think they make a commission on the engines they sell for jaspar because i found a brand new engine on jaspar website for 6000!!! 4000 less than quoted. Very disappointed with the service i recieved from magic mechanic

They dont make appointments. So either drop it off and hope they get to it in a few days or go somewhere else.

I believe the gentlemans name is Randy. He helped with my 05 malibu intermittently dying. found out it was a simple fix, and didnt charge me anything, even after all the diagnosing. He said he didnt want to sell me stuff I didnt need, and i really appreciated that. They just got a new customer. I recommend them, and Ill be back for future issues. Thanks Mr. Randy.

My experience(s) with MM have been incredible every time. The level of expertise from JD and repair team goes above and beyond anything like the norm. Quality workmanship on every occasion I have been to them. I highly recommend MM - their quality standards cannot be compared with anyone elses out there. I agree with you 100% on what 0W20 and5W20 can do to a engine especially here in Central Florida and many southern states. I have seen what it does especially to Chrysler 5.7 Hemi engine. When this comes for whatever reason mostly because of NHRA engine building experience most people state that I dont know better than the manufacturers recommended oil recommendations. I always tell them to listen to your show or talk to a authoritative person (YOU) who has seen what happens using 0W20 and 5W20 motor oil. Would you be willing to debate this on your radio show ?.

Dont skip the part about written estimate before any work is done. Just to get an estimate cost us 300 dollars which we had to pay just to tell them not interested in moving forward. I get paying for diagnosis, and the sign on the counter said 120 bucks... Did not say over 300!

I paid $110.00 to get their estimate of $ 2840.00 to repair my 2004 hyndai. I took it to another mechanic & he fixed it for $650.00. beware

Writing for a family member:Had my Corvette in to get serviced because I had heard very good things about this particular place. I dropped it off on Monday and they said it would be a few days u til it was done. Went back on Wednesday and it was still in the same spot. They said they hadnt even looked at it yet. I was told tonorrow it would be done. I went back Thursday and it had still bot been looked at. I got a call Friday when it was done. I went to pick it up. First of all, the oil change alone was $125. Thats outrageous for an oil change. I understand a lot of times you ask prices at different places, but oil changes seem to all be pretty similarly priced. WHEN I arrived home, I noticed a large scratch on the front end of my car. I immediately drove back and pointed it out to one of the employees. The employee said they would look at the camera to see what happened and get back to me. I received a call 20 minutes later with them saying it was a customer who hit my car. They had the customers name and insurance info already. (Which I found very odd. Was it truly a customer or an employee who did t want to come clean to me?) I called the insurance information that they gave me to report the incident and it had already been reported which I also found odd. All in all, I will not be back to this place of business. I was also told by the owner of the shop that I was the 2nd car to have had this happen there.

Had a break down on I4, AAA towed me to Magic Mechanic which I listened to the radio show. Carl answered the phone and was very courteous in telling me to bring it right in. It was late in the day but he told me they would do their best to get it looked at the next day. Sure enough, the following morning Carl called me with a diagnosis. The quoted price was high for my 18year old vehicle. However, instead of losing my business to a less quality repair shop, Carl dilligently called around to find me a less expensive part for my vehicle. After the call back and saving me $$$ I proceeded to have the shop do the repairs with knowing it would be done the right way the first time! Thank you Carl and Magic Mechanic will definitely recommend to family and friends!

Drove from Palm Bay to Orlando because I couldnt find a mechanic here that I thought could trust. I listen to Larry on WDBO news radio. Honest and a bucket full of common sense. A repair that could have run as high as $1650.00 was done the same day for $435.00. CAUSE THEY ONLY FIXED WHAT WAS BROKEN...........the others? Well, you can easily run a repair bill up with all guess work and B.S. THANK YOU MAGIC MECHANIC!!! See ya next time.

The Magic Mechanic is one place you want to stay away from. I took my 2001 BMW X5 to them to replace the ABS brake module ( which I supplied) and to tune up the engine and service the car. After paying $2,103.14 to them the car would not start and to make matters worse they broke off a bolt holding the water pump on. Then they wanted to charge me extra for a new water pump !!!My advise, NEVER go to this place or you will be sorry.
