Today, I went to pick up my prescription because I’m due for my refill. The older tall gentleman that was there had taken care of me the first time I got prescribed and was extremely rude to me because I was using GoodRX & today he refused to give me my prescription refill. I use Cerebral it’s an app like better help. I find it to be the most convenient way for me to seek help and talk to my a doctor since I don’t have insurance. This is the most affordable option. He said since my doctor that I speak to virtually is out of state he can’t grant me my prescription. Which is funny because he granted it the first time and all of a sudden it’s an issue? Sir, it’s 2021 everything now a days is virtually especially with this pandemic going on..seeking help from a doctor virtually is the same as being evaluated by an in state doctor. If the rules and regulations of this pharmacy didn’t allow it then why did he give me prescription the first time? I do not recommend anyone to use this pharmacy if you have the option to choose. Staff is rude and miserable
Halloween candy supposed to be 50% off. Spanish Latina cashier kept arguing with me saying its not even though the sign right in front of her says it is. She was very rude refused to let me use my Walgreens cash to make a $2 purchase. Horrible staff at this location.
Worst store staff - Will. Very mean and rude. Don’t recommend this store unless you want to deal with staffs who like to lash out/abuse customers.
Clean and well stocked Walgreens, cashiers are always friendly no matter what time I go in
Waited in line to get prescription filled for 45 minutes. I dont blame the employees, they were working extremely hard. I blame management. They clearly do not have enough staff to manage the demand here. Walgreens is a massive company that should have this figured out. I left and changed my pharmacy forever.
This is probably one of the most horrible experiences I’ve had with a pharmacist. I called to get a prescription filled and they told me I could have it delivered to my address because it was covered by my co-pay insurance and they would get it to me in two days so I don’t run out. 3-4 days later I’m out of medicine and I’ve heard nothing from them.I call back and they tell me my insurance doesn’t cover my delivery and instead of calling me back and telling me so I can pick it up from somewhere else they do nothing and leave me waiting and out of medication. The woman I spoke to on the phone was rude and condescending and tried to blame me for this when the entire situation was their fault to begin with. I didn’t even know about delivery until they told me they had it and that it was covered by my insurance (something they obviously never bothered to check.) I’d get your orders filled at a different Walgreens, I guess the ratings matter after all.
Passports shouldnt cost $15 when I did all the work taking the picture and did the photo setup. All Walgreens had to do was print the picture out on normal 4x6 paper. What a scam.
So incompetent its comical, from management all the way through to cashier. Not sure what is going on at this location but until they get it sorted out I recommend shopping elsewhere.
I went in for an appointment with LabCorp; yes I understand they are a 3rd party vendor. I could not get a hold of a person inside so I went up to the front register to ask her to call back there or announce over the intercom to answer their door. The lady tells me she does not have the number and cannot use the intercom. She asks me, did you knock? I was a bit sarcastic when I said Wow, I would have never thought about that. & told I did. I have been there before and the person did call back there. So, after my appointment, I ask to speak to the manager, Francisco Garcia. I get one sentence out and he cuts me off without listening to my concern. When he finished, I told him it was the cashiers attitude and I see where she got it from because his was no better. Bad customer service.
The pharmacist (older taller gentlemen works on the weekends 4/18 when this happened) is condescending and rude. When asked to use a GOODRX coupon for a prescription he said oh I did that already and then asked me to pay 20 dollars more. When corrected and I showed him the info he said you need to come back in 15 minutes I have a line of people and don’t have time to retype in the numbers... so I can’t get my prescription because you have a line and don’t want to take 60 seconds to do your job correctly? This was also already my second trip to the store for this prescription. Does not wanting to over pay for my prescription make my time less valuable? That’s the message this man is sending. If you can go to another pharmacy do it. Walgreens do better.
The pharmacy here takes for ever. 40 minute wait on drive threw
Really friendly staff, always have great interactions here. Store has a good selection of meds, candy, household basics, chintzy toys, make up. Photo prints are available if you need them, quality isnt great but price is good for local availability. If you want higher quality prints check out Colonial Photo and Hobby down the street. Pharmacy is fast and friendly. Lines are usually short, but theres occasionally a confused old person or crazy entitled person holding things up. Whatca going do, amirite? Prices are alright, sale prices are excellent. Points do add up pretty fast and you get some nice cash off for them. If you call you get an automated system for refills and the like, it works fine despite what the other reviewer says. Overall its a good little place for quick trips and meds. Only wish they would go to 24hrs.
I usually never have any issues with the pharmacy and most of the staff is friendly and informative, but the woman who’s answering the phone in the daytime is consistently rude and obviously in a bad mood. Was just abruptly hung up on while trying to ask a question.
It is impossible to call the pharmacy to ask a question and get through. Good luck.
Poor customer service from the pharmacist over the phone. If I could give zero stars I would.
The pharmacist at the Bumby and Colonial Walgreen--Max-- is consistently a conscientious, competent, kind, and thoughtful guy. No matter how crazy busy the pharmacy is, he always has time to be helpful to the customers. ALL of the staff at this pharmacy, pharmacists and pharmacy techs, is very friendly and willing to help, but Max is exceptional.
If you get Jennifer on the phone in the pharmacy, go ahead and ask for someone else. She’s a literalist, and will not answer your questions if you don’t phrase them just right... we talked about the manufacturer, so I asked where the medication came from, just to confirm as I had the info from the app. She started talking about just looking at a generic screen, and I said “how can I see the manufacturer and you work there and can’t.” I asked again where the medication was coming from and she says “well it comes from our warehouse.” OBVIOUSLY. And clearly not what I’m asking when we’ve been taking about the manufacturer the whole time.Don’t waste your time talking in circles. Literally anyone else there will give you a better and faster answer. The pharmacy does an amazing job outside of that.
Quality of customer service varies, but is mostly poor. Very mechanical, not customer oriented.
Very unprofessional cashier Cristina
Never a issue for moms prescription here
Understaffed pharmacy means consistently long waits. I switched to Publix where I never wait for my prescriptions.
Really friendly staff, always have great interactions here.
Pharmacy staff almost always seem miserable and move slowwwwly! its odd because the rest of the staff at this location are so insanely nice.
Removed the call for help button in photo department- annoying...
Usually this pharmacy is wonderful and very helpful but there is clearly no communication between the staff in the pharmacy department. One employee tells you the script can be filled one day before it was picked up the month before and another employee tells you 2 days. I drove all the way there to get my script filled because I was told that my script could be filled 2 days before to then arrive and be told the opposite. Clearly pharmacy management does not ensure all employees are on the same page with protocols.
Best care for prescriptions
Exceptional customer service in the photo department assisting me with my picture order that cuts the prints off in an odd spot during printing. They worked hard to get the order right! Very appreciated!!
Actual store is fine. Pharmacy, however......the pharmacists will straight up ignore you, no greeting, no eye contact, no “just a moment”, nothing. Like for 10+ minutes while there are no other customers. It’s absurd.
They have an AMAZING pharmacy staff!! Their entire staff is LGBT friendly, knowledgeable, professional and helpful. Their pharmacy staff always goes above and beyond. I have several expensive medications from different doctors and they are great at organizing everything for me. They help sync prescription up for me and notify me if their are any interactions to look out for. They know about pharmacy copay assistance programs, work with doctors for quick refills and prior authorizations and are extremely knowledgeable about drug/drug interactions. Doctors and pharmacists say its best to get all your medications in one place for safely and conveniency and I would highly recommend this being the place!
Always great prices, especially when combined with the store card. This location is always organized. Great clearance selection too.
The tech that helped me did not know how to charge my prescription, and did not know why prices had gone up. The pharmacist just said its probably a manufacturer fine print issue, and then i was not offered any more help.Go down the street to Publix. They are more courteous, more willing to help, and more knowledgeable.
Ive been a customer of this Walgreens for years. Wouldnt go anywhere else. The pharmacy can get hectic with people @ drive up and counter. But thats life😄.Today I called to see if a script could be filled and picked up by daughter. Got a text that it was ready within the hour. Too many good service experiences to post its my pharmacy and beyond😊
Convenient place to shop. Good selection of items. Interactions with staff was all positive.
NOT 24 hours...it would be nice if they updated their hours on Google to reflect they close at midnight so people wouldnt drive there by mistake. Not convenient at all when trying to get OTC meds at 6 a.m. for your spouse....
Very convenient store. People are friendly and professional. The store is super clean all the time.
I had my Dr fill a prescription and it was $499 at this location and $30 at Publix ... This is shameful
Hey had my prescription in stock but they made me wait 90 min. i came back 2.5 hours later and it still wasnt ready...had to wait another 30 min. staff was slow and so backed up they were turning ppl away unless they had antibiotics to fill.UPDATE: I have since had good experiences at this Walgreens. Things happen. (change from 2 to 3 stars)
They advertise flu shots online, when you walk into store, and at the pharmacy. However, theyve been out of vaccine for a while now and nobody cares to take down the signage. Waste of time.
When youre trying to refill your prescriptions it takes 5 people to do the same task over and over again to get it done. No inter-work communication, horrible automated phone system, no regard for customer service. They treat you like youre an idiot even though they are the ones who dont know how to do their job. I have had numerous instances where they have read the prescription wrong and delayed refill for an unnecessary amount of time. Go to Publix pharmacy! They are fast and considerate with the customer as their #1 priority. Would not recommend this Walgreens for anyone who likes to be treated as a human being.
I get prescriptions for my grandkids every month and they tend to screw up a prescription. They will also try to argue with you. After today Im finding a different pharmacy and no longer do business with Walgreens.
Ive been coming here for about 6 months, mostly just for rx. Almost every time, I leave upset. I asked to buy cigarettes in the pharmacy, so they called a manager to the front to walk me to the back because theyre the number one theft item in the store (which sounds like an internal problem since its behind the counter) They refuse to price match the walgreens app. They staff there is generally unpleasant with the exception of one older woman that works the front register. I hope and pray that my insurance lets me switch to cvs.
I was forced to change to Walgreens from Publix due to insurance. It is important to note that I changed from a Walgreens to Publix for poor customer service. Anyway, every time and I mean every time I have an issue getting my scripts. They always blame it on the insurance.Today I go to fill my script and asked to be filled as a waiting customer because I am waiting in the car bc I have an infant. He tells me a time which was 1.5 hrs. I go to pick up the script and was told it wasn’t filled. Again, they blamed the insurance. I explained that they should notify the customer when there is an issue. Again, I explained that I am waiting with an infant. He tells me everything was fine and tells me to give them 15 min. I call at 20 min and was told I can’t get the script until Thurs. due to insurance. I went inside to speak to a manger and pharmacists. The pharmacist kept saying it was the law. It is important to note that he didn’t apologize or show any empathy for the fact that I waited for almost two hours. I get they can’t change the law but I am pretty sure the law didn’t change while I was waiting. Don’t blame the insurance and the law for your poor customer service. He refused to give me a print out stating I wasn’t privy to it. I said I can go online so that’s not true. He again refused to print it out saying I could get it online. Ummmm you just made me wait two hours for a script I can’t get and you expect me to go home and print out paperwork. I explained that I needed it now and didn’t want to go home. Again refused. At this time a really sweet pharm tech stepped in and printed it for me.I am going back to Publix. I have to pay more because they are out of network but I don’t care anymore.
Most incompetent pharmacy Ive ever experienced. I was treated like a burden and lied to.
Helpful staff. Big store.
I love this pharmacy and actually go out of way a bit to use it. All the pharmacy staff have taken the effort to know me by name. They are cordial and efficient.I read the reviews below and just cant understand them because it is nothing like I experience. I suspect that the service one receives is in direct proportion to how you treat the staff. I would guess if you treat them with kindness and respect that they will treat you them same. (Most of life is like this, right?) And the Asian lady pharmacist mentioned below? She is my favorite. She helps me in every way: syncing all my scripts to renew on the same day so I make fewer trips, advising me thoroughly on meds (almost as if she can remember every prescription I am taking by memory), and advising me on costs and strategies to save money.I have tried CVS, Publix, and mail-order. Nothing stacks up to the ease of using Walgreens. (Can you get a refill at Publix at 11:45pm? Impossible, right?) My Walgreens pharmacy closes at midnight, but if I drive a bit further, there are others whose pharmacies are open 24 hours! Also, I love using the Walgreens pharmacy app. I can scan a medicine bottle and it automatically requests the refill. No dialing, waiting for menus, or punching in 13 digit prescription numbers. The app is awesome. And I get a lot of points on my Walgreens card each time I refill which I can redeem as cash towards purchases when I pick up other sundries. What about traveling? Ever try to refill your Publix prescription outside of Florida (or the deep south)? Good luck and enjoy a trip to a local doctor to get a new script you can fill out of state. Walgreens has 10 times the outlets as Publix and has locations in all 50 states and in most US territories. Even CVS doesnt have stores in all 50 states.Honestly, I cant understand the moaning and complaining in the other reviews. I have lived in 6 countries around the globe and in 6 different states in this country. I would be hard pressed to find more convenience, cheaper prices, or friendlier staff that at Walgreens. I love their pharmacy.
Used them very often and never had a problem. Thanks!
I came to this location at 11:58pm, 2 minutes before closing, to buy diapers for my child and was refused service. The manager had already closed and locked the doors. Poor showing on their behalf.
They ask too many questions about where youre from or where youve been like cops. Plus if you go in there with any bag or purse you will be expected to leave them in the front with staff.
Open late!!!
Bad service
